Fox Host: China Is ‘Funding Biden Family Businesses’ With ‘Billions of Dollars’

On Sunday, Fox News Channel’s Steve Hilton reported on Peter Schweizer’s investigation of former vice president Joe Biden’s family’s business dealings with China’s government, concluding that Biden was “compromised by a foreign power and unfit to be president.”

Hunter Biden — Biden’s second son — secured $1 billion in financing from the Bank of China — an arm of the Chinese government — for a private equity firm founded by himself and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry. That private equity firm was named Bohai-Harvest RST (BHR).

Joe Biden “is the very definition of a corrupt insider,” said Hilton, rejecting left-wing and partisan Democrat marketing of Joe Biden as “a man of the working people.” He profiled Biden in a segment entitled, “Swamp Watch.” . . .

Hilton noted the values and origins of some of BHR’s other investments, including, “$145,000 from a Kazak oligarch, $1 million from Chinese entities, $1.2 million from a mysterious LLC tied to a Swiss bank that’s been implicated in money laundering, [and] $3.1 million from corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs.” . . .

Hilton continued, “When it came to a choice between working Americans and his donors, he chose the donors. When it came to a choice between working Americans and China, he chose China. He may have started out as a blue-collar boy from Scranton, Pennsylvania, but he ended up as a swampy stooge for Beijing, China.” (Read more from “Fox Host: China Is ‘Funding Biden Family Businesses’ With ‘Billions of Dollars'” HERE)

Oof: Team Biden Didn’t Contact Family of Woman Killed in Charlottesville Before Invoking Her Memory in Launch Video

In my post assessing Joe Biden’s candidacy yesterday, I registered my surprise at the darkness of his rollout video’s tone and themes. The very first word of the clip is “Charlottesville,” and much of the subsequent content featured images and audio from that terrible 2017 weekend. Biden reportedly wanted to launch his campaign with a rally in that city, but his team pulled the plug on that idea when some residents expressed concerns about politicizing those events. One might imagine that Biden’s brain trust would have realized that weighing community sentiment and buy-in would be an important component of planning any such address, but it seems like they were forced to scrap their idea to dodge a potentially-avoidable controversy. Having endured that (mostly) behind-the-scenes drama, one might also imagine that because they were going to lean so heavily into the Charlottesville narrative in their first public communication about a brand new campaign, they would have been extra careful about their approach. For instance, surely they would have had the good sense to check in with the family of the young woman who was killed by a white supremacist in that awful melee prior to featuring her memory in a partisan video, right? Wrong:

This is political malpractice, plain and simple. A big, unforced, unthinking, amateurish error on literally the first public manifestation of Biden’s presidential campaign. A large team had been building toward yesterday’s announcement for months. How did this happen? And on a related issue of preparedness and professionalism, how could this happen?

From Russia With Love: Biden Pushed Hillary Clinton to Form Closer Ties With Russia

By Townhall. In the aftermath of the Mueller report and former Vice President Joe Biden’s announcement Thursday he intends to run for president in 2020, several news outlets began reporting on Biden’s desire during his tenure in the Obama administration to develop closer ties to Russia.

The Washington Free Beacon published a piece Thursday morning reminding readers of Biden’s defense of Russia following then-candidate Mitt Romney’s concern over Russia’s apparent moves toward geopolitical domination in 2012.

In 2012, when Romney expressed concern that President Barack Obama was caught on a hot-mic promising more “flexibility” regarding Russia, Biden took it as an opportunity to herald that administration’s “Russia reset” — an approach championed by Hillary Clinton — and marginalize Romney as a doddering conservative still approaching the U.S./Russia relationship from a Cold War perspective. . .

Biden then went on to insist Russia was working with the Obama administration in everything from Iran to Afghanistan, and insisted, a month later, that Russia was the reason for new relationships with nations such as China and Turkey. Biden Wanted to Establish a ‘Biden-Putin Commission’ to Cozy up to the Kremlin

By Jordan Schachtel. Two separate emails, disclosed in late 2018 through a State Department Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, show that the Obama administration — and Joe Biden personally — was heavily invested in the idea of cozying up to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Biden officially announced that he was running for president Thursday. During his speech, he articulated several false narratives to take shots at President Trump.

Now that the former Obama VP is in the race, perhaps he will answer questions concerning his past idea to establish a Biden-Putin commission to forge closer ties with the Kremlin.

In an undated email from Strobe Talbott, former deputy secretary of state under Bill Clinton, to Hillary Clinton, using the subject line “Russia,” the then-Brookings Institution president told Clinton that Biden floated the idea of the commission intended to bolster ties to Russia.

“The VP told me on the margins of the big ceremony at State that he was thinking seriously about a Biden-Putin Commission. I have a thought or two on that subject that I’d like to share with you whenever it’s appropriate.”

In another email, this time from the late Sandy Berger (who served as national security adviser to Bill Clinton), it appeared that Clinton was on board with the idea.

“I think your idea of establishing a Biden-Putin Commission — like Gore-Chemomydrin — to coordinate and drive the US-Russian relationship has a lot of merit,” Berger wrote in an email to Hillary Clinton.

“It elevates the relationship after eight years of neglect which has fueled nationalistic resentment in Moscow and provides a mechanism for achieving trade-offs that can produce a larger bargain,” Berger added.

Biden’s infatuation with Russia began during his time serving as a senator, when he made routine trips to the then-Soviet Union to meet with top USSR leaders.

As Trevor Loudon explains in The Epoch Times:

“Throughout the 1980s, Biden consistently opposed President Ronald Reagan’s tough line against the Soviet Union. Biden instead favored détente—which, had that policy remained in place, would have meant more subsidies and trade deals, keeping the Soviet Union alive much longer than necessary.”

“Biden also was a strong opponent of U.S. military opposition to Soviet expansionism,” Loudon adds.

Since the days of the early Soviet Union, the Democratic Party has remained consistently soft on Russia. Democrats’ rhetoric and policies on Moscow, however, suddenly changed when President Trump was implicated in the Russian collusion hoax, which was spawned by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

And in their efforts to label the president as weak on Russia, much of the Left — and virtually every top official in the Obama administration — sought to erase the Obama administration’s incredible capitulation to Russia on almost every major geopolitical issue.

The Obama administration allowed unchecked election interference, promised “more flexibility” after the 2012 election, attempted an infamous botched “reset,” closed a controversial Uranium One deal, oversaw Russia’s annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, and held Russia responsible for securing Syria’s chemical weapons, and that’s just a handful of the many botched foreign policy decisions vis-a-vis Russia made by the Obama White House.

Biden himself has been objectively dovish and complimentary of post-communist Russia, the Washington Free Beacon reminds us. The publication listed several comments from then-VP Biden making it clear that he saw Russia as a partner rather than an adversary.

“Governor Romney’s answer I thought was incredibly revealing. He acts like he thinks the Cold War is still on, Russia is still our major adversary. I don’t know where he has been,” Biden said in one such quote resurfaced by the Free Beacon, in which he was commenting on a debate between then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney and incumbent President Obama.

In other comments, Biden frequently positioned Russia as a partner against our common adversaries, when in fact, Russia was instead partnering with our adversaries. (For more from the author of “Biden Wanted to Establish a ‘Biden-Putin Commission’ to Cozy up to the Kremlin” please click HERE)

OOPS: Biden’s Latest Hire Doesn’t Want White People Leading the Democratic Party

Former CNN contributor Symone Sanders does not want white people leading the Democrat Party. Or, at least she used to feel that way.

Sanders was just tapped to serve as a senior advisor to former Vice President Joe Biden, who announced his long-expected 2020 presidential run on Thursday. Of course, if Biden has any success, he, a white male, would be the nominee of the Democratic Party.

But after President Donald Trump took office in 2016, Sanders said during a CNN segment that “we don’t need white people leading the Democratic Party right now,” noted The Washington Examiner. . .

Biden announced his candidacy on Thursday with a racially-charged video, castigating President Donald Trump as a defender of white supremacists.

As noted by The Daily Wire’s James Barrett, Biden’s announcement video “features a reference to Trump saying there were ‘very fine people on both sides’ following the Charlottesville Confederate monument protests that erupted in violence and resulted in a white supremacist plowing into and killing a peaceful liberal protester. Trump critics say the president was specifically defending white nationalists, while his defenders say he was generally referencing those protesting the removal of Confederate monuments. Amid backlash for his initial response, Trump went on to specifically denounce white supremacy.” (Read more from “OOPS: Biden’s Latest Hire Doesn’t Want White People Leading the Democratic Party” HERE)

Poll Reveals How Dem Women Feel About Joe Biden Groping

Recent allegations of former Vice President Joe Biden’s inappropriate touching of women dominated political headlines for most of last week, but a new poll indicates voters in one of the country’s largest states don’t consider it a serious issue.

A Quinnipiac University public opinion survey of California voters also suggests that Biden – who’s likely to launch a White House bid in the coming weeks – is the leader of the pack in the Golden State among the large field of contenders vying for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Two-thirds of voters questioned in the live operator survey – including 67 percent of women, 71 percent of Democrats, and even 55 percent of Republicans – said the controversy was not a serious issue.

“‘Let Biden be Biden,’ say California voters, clearly unconcerned about former Vice President Joe Biden’s tactile embrace of supporters,” Quinnipiac Polling assistant director Tim Malloy said. “But there is one noticeable generational split. The youngest of voters are far more inclined to say, ‘hands off.'”

Biden’s well publicized and decades long affectionate brand of physical politics was thrust into the spotlight nearly two weeks ago, thanks to allegations from 2014 Nevada Democratic lieutenant governor nominee Lucy Flores. She said in an essay published in New York Magazine that Biden made her feel “uneasy, gross, and confused” at a campaign rally when she said he kissed her on the back of the head. Her claims quickly went viral and became a top cable news story for a week. (Read more from “Poll Reveals How Dem Women Feel About Joe Biden Groping” HERE)

After This Onstage Remark, Joe Biden 2020 Should Be Canceled

By Townhall. Does Joe Biden think the several allegations of touching women inappropriately are a joke? I mean, how else could you explain this incident at a union conference? The former vice president has begun laying the groundwork for his 2020 campaign. It’s happening. It’s in the works, but Me Too drama has struck. He’s a handsy kind-of-guy, Joe Biden. And for more than a few women, his displays of affection crossed the line into creep city. . .

At the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Conference at the Washington Hilton, Biden brought up some kid, put his arms around him and said, “He gave me permission to touch him all right?…Everyone knows I like kids better than people.”

Biden Walks Into Trump’s Punchline

By The Hill. President Trump mocked Joe Biden on Friday, saying he didn’t see the former vice president as a threat because he’s “only a threat to himself.”

Hours later, Biden may have proved the president’s point.

Seeking to move on from the controversy over allegations of unwanted touching and kissing from women, Biden offered jokes and a non-apology in front of a union crowd in Washington, D.C.

The performance received mixed reviews at best, with some commentators questioning whether Biden, a politician with a long history of gaffes, was taking the criticism of his behavior seriously.

Obama’s Team Explains Why He Isn’t Weighing in on Biden Allegations

On Wednesday, former Vice President Joe Biden attempted to address the growing scandal over claims of his past “innappropriate touching” of women by issuing a video explaining that he has always been about making a “human connection” but assuring his supporters that he now “get[s] it”: “social norms” have “shifted” and he will change how he interacts with women accordingly. The next day, The Washington Post published three more accounts from three more women detailing times they say Biden crossed the line — bringing the total number of accusations to seven.

With high-profile Democrats taking positions on the growing scandal, one key voice has been glaringly absent: the man Biden can thank for being vice president for eight years. So where is Obama in the Biden debate?

According to The Hill’s sources, we shouldn’t expect to be hearing publicly from Obama anytime soon, but we should assume he is still “standing behind” his former VP amid the growing list of accusers.

“President Obama thinks the world of him and thinks he’d be an excellent president,” a source The Hill describes as someone “close to Obama” told the outlet. The “infinite amount of time” Obama has already spent praising Biden’s character should be enough for people to know where he stands, the source suggested.

But if he’s so confident in Biden’s character, why won’t Obama simply say so publicly, rather than through surrogates? The Hill’s sources say this is just how Obama plans to operate for the Democratic primary, and Biden should undersand that well enough. “President Obama is not going to be weighing in on the primary and the day-to-day stories around it. And Joe Biden would be the first to tell you that he’ll have to earn the nomination on his own,” the source told The Hill. Joe Biden Promises to NOT Manhandle Any More Women

Former Vice President Joe Biden has heard the allegations lobbed against him. And he’s not sorry. He’s not letting alleged instances of being a bit too aggressive with some women hold his 2020 plans back. These aren’t allegations on par with creeps like Harvey Weinstein. Still, Biden’s overt affections, for lack of a better term, has landed him in hot water with four women who said they were more or less totally creeped out and uncomfortable with the shoulder touching, the hair sniffing, the kissing on the back of the head, and the hands being placed in the thigh region.

Yeah, say what you will, Democrats. This still could be construed as sexual harassment. And these are your rules; will you abide by them? Or will you play by the not-so-secret Democratic protocols that give political cover to your allies when they are accused of bad behavior? It could get nasty, but for now, Creepy Joe has released a video where he said that he wouldn’t manhandle women as much[.]

HILARIOUS: President Trump BURNS Joe Biden Over Media Scrutiny

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump ridiculed Joe Biden on Tuesday after the former Vice President received scrutiny for inappropriately touching women and children.

“It looks like the only non-sort of heavy socialist, he’s being taken care of pretty well by the socialists. They got to him,” Trump said. . .

The president commented on the controversy during remarks at the NRCC spring dinner in Washington, DC.

“I was going to call him, I don’t know him well, and say, ‘Welcome to the world, Joe. Are you having a good time?’” Trump continued. (Read more from “HILARIOUS: President Trump BURNS Joe Biden Over Media Scrutiny” HERE)

Trump taunts Biden amid misconduct allegations: ‘You having a good time, Joe?’

By The Hill. President Trump on Tuesday taunted Joe Biden after two women came forward in recent days to detail interactions with the former vice president they said involved inappropriate or unwanted touching.

Trump, speaking at a National Republican Congressional Committee dinner, sought advice from the crowd of GOP lawmakers and conservatives about his 2020 campaign slogan as he prepared to face a Democratic challenge.

“We’re going into the war with some socialists,” Trump said of the field of prospective Democratic candidates. “And it looks like the only non sort of heavy socialist, he’s being taken care of pretty well by the socialists. . .

Later in his speech, Trump again took a shot at Biden as he recalled hearing good news from a general about efforts to eliminate the Islamic State (ISIS).

“I said, “General come here. Give me a kiss.’ I felt like Joe Biden,” Trump said, prompting laughter and applause from attendees. “But I meant it.” (Read more from “Trump Taunts Biden Amid Misconduct Allegations: ‘You Having a Good Time, Joe?'” HERE)

Two MORE Women Accuse Creepy Biden of ‘Inappropriate Touching’

Two more women have accused former Vice President Joe Biden of touching them inappropriately at events, bringing the total number of women who have complained publicly about the prospective 2020 Democratic candidate to four.

The latest accusations were reported by The New York Times. One of the claims dated from 2012, while the other encounter was said to have taken place a few years later.

In the 2012 incident, writer D.J. Hill said Biden put his hand on her shoulder, then dropped it down her back in a way that made her “very uncomfortable” while Hill and her husband posed for pictures with him at a fundraiser in Minneapolis. Hill said her husband noticed the movement and made a joke about it. . .

In the second incident, former college student Caitlyn Caruso told the paper that Biden “rested his hand on her thigh — even as she squirmed in her seat to show her discomfort — and hugged her ‘just a little bit too long’ at an event on sexual assault at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.” Caruso, now 22, told the paper that she was 19 at the time and had just recounted her own story of sexual assault. . .

Biden has denied acting inappropriately and a spokesman for the former vice president accused “right wing trolls and others” of conflating images of Biden embracing acquaintances, colleagues and friends in his official capacity during swearing-in ceremonies with uninvited touching in a statement published the same day as Lappos’ accusations.
