Trump Rebukes Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Failed Attempt to Oust Speaker Mike Johnson

Former President Donald Trump called on House Republicans to not vote in favor of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., saying “this is not the time” to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson.

The House of Representatives on Wednesday killed an effort by Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., to vote on vacating the chair.

Green appeared to catch most Congressional watchers by surprise when she moved to force a vote on her motion to vacate the chair, which should have allowed for the vote.

Though she has been seen in the past touting a MAGA hat in favor of Trump, the former president called on Republicans to table her motion.

“I absolutely love Marjorie Taylor Greene. She’s got Spirit, she’s got Fight, and I believe she’ll be around, and on our side, for a long time to come,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “However, right now, Republicans have to be fighting the Radical Left Democrats, and all the Damage they have done to our Country. With a Majority of One, shortly growing to three or four, we’re not in a position of voting on a Motion to Vacate. At some point, we may very well be, but this is not the time.” (Read more from “Trump Rebukes Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Failed Attempt to Oust Speaker Mike Johnson” HERE)

‘Extremely Troubling’: Biden Official Suspended for Unnerving Reason

Two GOP lawmakers claimed Monday to have discovered the reason why Robert Malley, President Joe Biden’s special envoy for Iran, was suspended from his role.

Pending a federal investigation, Malley was suspended without pay and had his security clearance revoked in June 2023 with little reason given as to why. Republican Idaho Sen. James Risch and Texas Rep. Mike McCaul sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday saying that their “own investigations have uncovered” that Malley was put under investigation and on leave because “he allegedly transferred classified documents to his personal email account and downloaded these documents to his personal cell phone,” according to The Washington Post.

“It is unclear to whom he intended to provide these documents, but it is believed that a hostile cyber actor was able to gain access to his email and/or phone and obtain the downloaded information,” the lawmakers wrote.

McCaul and Risch asked Blinken in the letter to answer a series of questions about their findings, including how many classified documents Malley was handling, whether he attempted to send them to another party, whether a “malign cyber actor” — such as the Iranian regime — gained access to his phone, and whether he has received warnings from the State Department before about his handling of classified material.

“The allegations we have been privy to are extremely troubling and demand immediate answers,” McCaul and Risch wrote in the letter to Blinken. “These allegations have substantial impact on our national security and people should be held accountable swiftly and strongly. We look forward to your immediate response.” (Read more from “‘Extremely Troubling’: Biden Official Suspended for Unnerving Reason” HERE)

Trial Date Postponed Indefinitely in Trump Case Amidst Evidence Handling Concerns

The trial date for the case involving former President Donald Trump and allegations regarding classified documents has been indefinitely postponed by United States District Judge Aileen M. Cannon, a Trump appointee. Judge Cannon cited the need to address several pre-trial motions before setting a new date in her ruling on Tuesday.

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s unsealing of a superseding indictment in July 2023, which included charges against Carlos De Oliveira, a Mar-a-Lago maintenance worker, prompted the delay. This occurred after the initial indictment against Trump and aide Walter Nauta in June 2023.

“The Court determines that finalization of a trial date at this juncture would be imprudent and inconsistent with the Court’s duty to fully and fairly consider the various pending pre-trial motions before the Court,” Judge Cannon stated, emphasizing the importance of addressing critical issues before proceeding with the tria

Concerns regarding evidence handling emerged following Smith’s Friday afternoon filing, where he acknowledged discrepancies in the maintenance of evidence obtained during the August 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago. Smith admitted that some boxes containing evidence were not properly maintained, leading to a potential compromise in the integrity of the evidence.

Trump’s attorneys responded swiftly, filing a motion to address the reported violations and indicating the likelihood of filing additional motions. They expressed surprise at the prosecution team’s failure to maintain the integrity of the evidence, despite ample resources at their disposal.

“These issues implicate President Trump’s motion to suppress evidence seized from Mar-a-Lago and the motion to dismiss based on prosecutorial misconduct,” Trump’s attorneys stated, highlighting the significance of the evidence mishandling allegations in the case.

Report: Biden Withholding Weapons From Israel; Dems Impeached Trump Over Ukraine Aid

A new report appears to confirm earlier claims that the Biden administration has been withholding arms from Israel in an attempt to send a message of disapproval about Israel’s policy of entering Rafah to finish off Hamas terrorists.

Breitbart News reported earlier in the week about claims in other publications that the U.S. had been withholding aid. Israel denied any delay, but the White House gave a noncommittal reply to reporters’ questions in a briefing Monday.

Politico reported Tuesday that the claims appear to have been correct, and referred to specific “smart” bombs:

The Biden administration is holding up shipments of two types of Boeing-made precision bombs to send a political message to Israel, according to a U.S. official and six other people with knowledge of the deliberations.

The U.S. has yet to sign off on a pending sale of Boeing’s Joint Direct Attack Munitions — both the munitions and kits that convert them to smart weapons — and Small Diameter Bombs, according to six industry and congressional sources with knowledge of the discussions.

The munitions were ready to be shipped to Israel when word of the hold came down, said one senior congressional aide and two other people familiar with the incident. A third person, an industry official, said the administration told Boeing to halt the shipment since the approval was held up for “political reasons,” and not because of supply chain strain.

‘You Are a Liar, a Thief, and a Villain’: Biden Scorched for Absurd Claim

Perhaps it was an untrained intern, perhaps not, but the claim comes out of Joe Biden’s campaign for re-election and it’s getting scorched online.

It’s the wild statement that “Wages are rising faster than prices” and “We’re making real progress.”

The campaign actually said, “Wages are rising faster than prices, incomes are higher than before the pandemic, and unemployment has remained below 4% for the longest stretch in 50 years. We have more to do to lower costs for hardworking families, but we’re making real progress.” . . .

It was NewsnationNow that reported, “For most of the Biden presidency — every month from April 2021 to April 2023 — price increases have outpaced wage growth, eating away at consumers’ purchasing power.”

Biden’s Advisers Push to Doing Something We All Knew Was Coming

This change to the Biden 2024 playbook was predictable, given the president’s penchant for being a gaffe machine. His staff aims to shorten his speeches, stressing quality over quantity. The president has had Ron Burgundy-like blunders with the teleprompter in recent weeks. With the public campaign schedule about to get busier, there’s no doubt Biden would have devolved into a more incoherent mess than he already is.

The man can’t hack it, and the irony is that we had a special counsel, Robert Hur, who noted just that when he investigated the president over his classified documents fiasco. We had days of Biden officials and liberal media members touting the president’s cognitive abilities. Now, we learn they’re shortening his speeches as a guardrail against senior moments (via NBC News):

As President Joe Biden ramps up his re-election effort, his campaign is also scaling back how much he says on the trail, part of a larger new strategy to hone a sharper message he’ll take into the general election, according to Biden aides.

The less-is-more approach aims for quality over quantity when it comes to the president’s public appearances, aides said.

Biden DHS Shuts Down ‘Experts’ Panel Featuring Signatories of Infamous Hunter Biden Laptop Letter

The Biden administration agreed Friday to shut down a panel of “experts” that included multiple signatories of a letter that dismissed a laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden as Russian disinformation.

The Department of Homeland Security agreed to “wind down” the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group in 30 days following litigation from America First Legal, according to court documents. The experts in the group included former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who signed an October 2020 letter that claimed a bombshell New York Post report about emails from the laptop supposedly abandoned by Hunter Biden “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

“The Experts Group shall be wound down within thirty (30) days of the entry of the Order, it will not hold any future meetings, and the Department will not reconstitute the Experts Group inconsistent with the FACA or the Homeland Security Act of 2002. The Department will also provide the Experts Group meeting agendas and meeting minutes with participant identifying information redacted within fifteen (15) days of the entry of the Order,” the order submitted to the United States District Court for the District of Columbia reads. “Based on these representations, Plaintiffs have agreed to dismiss their lawsuit with prejudice.”

Twitter locked multiple accounts, including the New York Post’s and the personal account of then-White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany for sharing the story, citing its “hacked materials” policy. Pro-Hamas Protests Funded by Biden’s Own Political Donors

The pro-Palestinian, antisemitic protests on university campuses across the nation are funded by President Joe Biden’s own political donors — which could explain why he hesitates to condemn them and won’t investigate them.

Biden equivocated last month when asked to react to the protests, saying that he condemned the antisemitism but also condemned those “who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians,” which puzzled observers.

Research by NGO Monitor and others into the donors behind the protests has turned up familiar names from the Democratic Party bankroll — including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and other liberal philanthropies.

Biden’s Department of Justice has notably refused to investigate the civil rights abuses being committed by the “encampments” — against Jews, journalists, and others — and has also refused to consider RICO conspiracy charges.

The reason may be that he does not want to subject his own political donors to investigation or embarrasment. (Read more from “Pro-Hamas Protests Funded by Biden’s Own Political Donors” HERE)

Poll: Americans Overwhelmingly Say Trump Strong Leader, Biden Weak

By Breitbart. A majority of Americans see former President Donald Trump as a strong leader, while most see President Joe Biden as a weak leader, according to a poll.

The Economist/YouGov poll published on Wednesday asked respondents to classify Trump and Biden’s leadership qualities.

A majority of 58 percent of all adult respondents say Trump is a strong leader, including a plurality of 35 percent who see him as “very strong.” Trump is up one point in this department from a March Economist/YouGov poll that Breitbart News reported on.

The remaining 42 percent of respondents see Trump as a weak leader to varying degrees, including 32 percent who say he is “very weak.”

Conversly, Americans overwhelmingly say Biden has weak leadership qualities. A strong majority (64 percent) say Biden is a weak leader. Moreover, 45 percent of all poll participants regard Biden as “very weak.” (Read more from “Poll: Americans Overwhelmingly Say Trump Strong Leader, Biden Weak” HERE)

Donald Trump Beating Joe Biden by 15 Points in One Battleground State: Poll

By Newsweek. Donald Trump is beating Joe Biden by 15 points in Michigan six months before the presidential election, one poll has shown.

According to a Kaplan Strategies survey of 804 people, the former president is leading the incumbent by 51 percent to 36 percent in the key battleground state. The margin of error for the survey was 3.5 percentage points.

In March, Biden and Trump won enough primary races to secure, respectively, the Democratic and Republican nominations in the 2024 presidential election. Thus far, polls have shown that the results will be tight as the pair are statistically tied in most polls or enjoying only marginal leads.

Swing states are important as due to the Electoral College system of voting, they may determine the winner of the election. (Read more from “Donald Trump Beating Joe Biden by 15 Points in One Battleground State: Poll” HERE)

Biden’s Next Move? Resettle Palestinians in American Communities

Reps. Andy Ogles (R-TN), Tom Tiffany (R-WI), and Scott Perry (R-PA), as well as dozens of Senate Republicans, are moving to prevent President Joe Biden from resettling Palestinians in American communities.

In a letter to House Appropriators, Ogles, Tiffany, and Perry ask that a provision be included in the Fiscal Year 2025 spending bill that prohibits expenditures “of any funds to issue a visa or grant parole to any alien holding a passport issued by the Palestinian Authority.”

The House Republicans write:

Whatever fanciful leftist notion to the contrary, the United States of America cannot be expected to absorb the rest of the world’s problems. It would make much more sense for states in the region to take in those in need. If the administration is indeed working in concert with our allies in the region to pave the way for peace, that should come with the expectation that those allies are working in good faith to “do their part.” [Emphasis added]

Their letter comes as the Biden administration reportedly considers using the federal government’s refugee resettlement program to bring Palestinians to the United States. Last November, House and Senate Democrats circulated a similar plan. (Read more from “Biden’s Next Move? Resettle Palestinians in American Communities” HERE)
