House Committee Demands Interviews With Jean-Pierre, Top Biden Staffers About Former Boss’s Decline

House Republicans are demanding interviews with Biden Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and other top Biden White House staffers about the former president’s cognitive decline.

On Friday the House Oversight Committee sent a series of letters to Jean-Pierre, Ian Sams (special assistant to the president), Andrew Bates (senior deputy press secretary), and Jeff Zients (White House chief of staff) asking that they appear for transcribed interviews later this summer. According to Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., the requests are part of the body’s “aggressive investigation into the cover-up of [Biden’s] cognitive decline and potentially unauthorized executive actions” while serving as commander-in-chief.

“President Biden’s inner circle repeatedly told the American people that he was ‘sharp as ever,’ dismissing any commentary about his obvious mental decline as ‘gratuitous.’ They fed these false talking points to progressive allies and the media, who helped perpetuate that President Biden was fit to serve,” the Kentucky Republican said in a statement.

In their letter to Jean-Pierre, Oversight Republicans highlighted several examples of the former press secretary downplaying or dismissing times in which Biden showed signs of mental decline. In a press briefing following the Delaware Democrat’s disastrous June 2024 debate performance against Donald Trump, for example, Jean-Pierre claimed Biden was “as sharp as ever.”

“If White House staff carried out a strategy lasting months or even years to hide the chief executive’s condition — or to perform his duties — Congress may need to consider a legislative response,” the letter reads. Jill Biden’s Senior Adviser Refuses to Testify in House Oversight Investigation Into Biden Decline

Anthony Bernal, senior adviser to Jill Biden, has refused to testify in the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.

Bernal is refusing to appear for a June 26 interview as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Biden’s mental decline and potential misuse of the autopen, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer announced Wednesday.

Comer sharply criticized Bernal on Wednesday for refusing to appear before the committee, accusing him of avoiding accountability now that executive privilege has been waived.

“Now that the White House has waived executive privilege, it’s abundantly clear that Anthony Bernal – Jill Biden’s so-called ‘work husband’ – never intended to be transparent about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the ensuing cover-up,” Comer said.

“With no privilege left to hide behind, Mr. Bernal is now running scared, desperate to bury the truth. The American people deserve answers and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will not tolerate this obstruction. I will promptly issue a subpoena to compel Anthony Bernal’s testimony before the Committee.” (Read more from “Jill Biden’s Senior Adviser Refuses to Testify in House Oversight Investigation Into Biden Decline” HERE)

Biden’s Open Border Presidency Turbocharged Iranian Threats To U.S. Soil

Since the U.S. bombing of several Iranian nuclear sites, federal officials have sounded the alarm about potential retaliatory terror attacks on U.S. soil. Thanks to former President Joe Biden’s “Let everyone in!” immigration policies, those worries are very much legitimate.

On Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed it detained 11 Iranian nationals over a 48-hour period. According to the agency, several of these individuals entered the United States under the Biden administration and have committed serious crimes.

This list of arrestees includes Ribvar Karimi, whom Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained on Sunday in Locust, Alabama. Per DHS, “Karimi reportedly served as an Iranian Army sniper from 2018 to 2021 and at the time of his arrest, in his possession, he had an Islamic Republic of Iran Army identification card.”

According to the agency, Karimi “entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa, which is reserved for aliens engaged to be married to American citizens, in October 2024 under the Biden administration,” but “never adjusted his status — a legal requirement — and is removable from the United States.”

Another Iranian national detained by ICE is Mehran Makari Saheli. The DHS press release noted that the 56-year-old is “convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm in Minneapolis, where he was sentenced to 15 months in prison,” and “is a former member of… the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with admitted connections to Hezbollah.”

“An immigration judge ordered [Saheli] removed June 28, 2022, under the Biden administration, but he illegally remained in the U.S.,” according to the agency. ICE detained five more Iranian nationals on Monday, adding to the initial batch of arrests announced earlier Tuesday morning, Fox News reported. Biden Judge Ignores Supreme Court Deportation Ruling

A federal judge blocked deportations for eight migrants Monday night in what the Trump administration called a “lawless act of defiance” of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration earlier on Monday to move forward with quickly deporting illegal migrants to countries not specified in their removal orders. The ruling pausing an injunction issued by Judge Brian Murphy, a Biden appointee, which required the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to give migrants notice and allow them to raise concerns about potential threats of torture before deporting them to a “third country.”

However, Murphy issued an order Monday night blocking immediate removal of eight migrants currently held at a U.S. naval base in Djibouti to South Sudan.

Murphy wrote that an earlier May 21 order issued after finding the administration violated his preliminary injunction was still in effect, citing Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s dissenting opinion.

Sotomayor suggested Murphy’s “remedial orders are not properly before this Court because the Government has not appealed them, nor sought a stay pending a forthcoming appeal.” (Read more from “Biden Judge Ignores Supreme Court Deportation Ruling” HERE)

Revealed: TSA Used Loophole to Spy on Conservatives

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has announced the end of an Obama-era program that involved spying on U.S. citizens — and cost those citizens hundreds of millions in tax dollars a year.

“Today I’m announcing that TSA is ending the Quiet Skies program, which involved having a federal agent follow U.S. citizens as they traveled by air. It was created by Obama in 2012 to supposedly track dangerous individuals, but instead it was weaponized against political enemies such as Tulsi Gabbard,” Noem said in a video posted to social media.

“Since its existence, it has failed to stop a single terrorist attack, while it cost U.S. taxpayers roughly about $200 million a year,” she added.

Independent journalist Breanna Morello has been on the frontlines of breaking this story and has uncovered just how American citizens would end up on these lists.

“What they used is a program called Evade, which was another Obama program that was started. And what they did is they used Evade to add people to the TSA terror watch list,” Morello tells BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales on “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered.” (Read more from “Revealed: TSA Used Loophole to Spy on Conservatives” HERE)

2 Former Presidents Joined Effort to Silence Him During COVID Controversy, Rogan Claims

Podcaster Joe Rogan claimed Tuesday that two unnamed former presidents were involved in the protest against his skeptical discussions about COVID-19.

Spotify received backlash in 2022 for allowing Rogan, one of its biggest stars, to spread what progressive critics claimed was COVID misinformation. Musician Neil Young famously removed his content from Spotify in protest over Rogan’s rhetoric, saying he no longer wanted to share a platform with him.

“And then all of a sudden, I hear that Neil Young wants me removed from Spotify. I was like, ‘What the f— is going on? This is crazy,’” Rogan said Tuesday.

“Spotify got calls from two former presidents,” he added.

Then-Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki commented on the controversy directly. After Spotify announced it would flag podcasts that cover COVID-19, Psaki responded, “So this disclaimer, it’s a positive step, but we want every platform to continue doing more to call out misinformation while also uplifting accurate information.” (Read more from “2 Former Presidents Joined Effort to Silence Him During COVID Controversy, Rogan Claims” HERE)

Biden Adamant ‘I Made the Decisions’ in Office After Trump Orders Probe of Autopen Use

Former President Joe Biden was adamant that he “made the decisions” and defended his use of an autopen during his presidency, hours after President Trump ordered an investigation.

Trump directed US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday to open a probe and mused that some of Biden’s aides may have used the autopen system to get away with making key decisions for the 46th president, chiding that his mental acuity had declined.

“I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn’t is ridiculous and false,” Biden said in a statement.

“This is nothing more than a distraction by Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans who are working to push disastrous legislation that would cut essential programs like Medicaid and raise costs on American families, all to pay for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and big corporations.”

Shortly after his departure from the White House, the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project uncovered evidence that the 46th president had used an autopen — a device to produce his signature — on a slew of key documents such as proclamations, pardons, and executive orders. Education Department Celebrates ‘Title IX Month,’ Ditches Pride Month

President Donald Trump’s Education Department has declared June “Title IX Month” in recognition of the 53rd anniversary of the historic legislation’s passage, The Daily Wire has learned.

The department will spend June highlighting the Trump administration’s actions taken to protect female sports and spaces, as well as reversing the weaponization of Title IX that took place during the previous administration. The festivities offer a stark contrast to the Biden Education Department’s “Pride Month” celebrations, which focused on gender ideology, critical race theory, and DEI.

The Daily Wire can also first report that the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights is launching probes into two high-profile cases that developed under the previous administration, one in Colorado and the other in Wyoming.

In the first case, the Education Department will investigate the University of Wyoming for allowing a male into the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority chapter and letting him live in female-only campus housing, prompting members of the sorority to sue the school. The lawsuit describes how the male student would allegedly watch, with a visible erection, as female students changed or walked through the sorority house in their towels. Watch: Biden Claims He Could ‘Beat the Hell’ Out of Book Authors

In a comment reminiscent of his desire to take his opponent “out behind the gym” to fight him, former President Joe Biden, 82, said Friday he could “beat the hell out of both of them” – an apparent reference to the authors of a new book detailing his cognitive decline as leader of the free world.

The book covering Biden’s mental deterioration while president, “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, was released May 20.

Biden’s quip came amid his first public remarks since announcing he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, Fox News reported.

“You can see that I’m mentally incompetent, I can’t walk,” Biden joked with reporters Friday after speaking at a Memorial Day event in Delaware. “And I could beat the hell out of both of them.” (Read more from “Watch: Biden Claims He Could ‘Beat the Hell’ Out of Book Authors” HERE)
