Man and Woman Launch Vicious Attack on Seattle Teen for Wearing MAGA Hat in Public

Wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat in Seattle can be dangerous, as one Illinois teenager is sharing with the world.

Ashton Hess, who was vacationing with his family in Seattle recently, has released a video showing how he was harassed for wearing one of the trademark red hats worn by supporters of President Donald Trump.

Hess said that he was with his family waiting for a ride outside the Starbucks Reserve Roastery when the incident occurred, Fox News reported.

“My hat was knocked on the ground and picked up by the girl you see at the beginning of the video. She threw the hat to the man with green hair and he took off with it. He spat on it and then threw it into the street. He continued to curse at and flip off my family,” Hess wrote on his YouTube account, where he posted the video.

“I did absolutely nothing to provoke anyone around, and was completely blind sided when I was hit. He was quick to run away after my dad, my brother, and I started walking after him. The left doesn’t care about who you are (or) what you stand for. The left only knows that you must be evil,” he wrote.

In the video, Hess tells the man he said spat on his hat, “That’s my property dude. Come on.”

The man then told Hess to “get the f— out (of) this city.”

Hess, who is from Illinois, summarized the incident in an interview with station KIRO.

“This guy just runs up and hits me in the head, knocking my hat off … he took off down the street with it, spit on it and threw it in the street, and he turned around and started cursing at me for no reason,” Hess said.

Hess said there have been times when the hat attracts glares, but he said he “never expected something like to be hit in the head over a hat I was wearing.”

“I want to expose the left for what they do … We have a First Amendment right to believe in whatever we want, and when that stuff gets out about the left side doing things like that, I do think it hurts them more than it helps them,” Hess said.

Hess and his family followed up with an interview with The Daily Wire.

“I was angry that this guy thought he had the right to attack our son because he disagreed with the text on his hat,” The Daily Wire quoted the teenager’s parents as saying. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; if you disagree with that opinion, you’re not free to be aggressive.”

The Daily Wire identified the man who harassed Hess as Eddie Jackson. Several tweets from a green-haired man who said he is “non-binary” show him boasting of the incident.

Hess, 17, said he has known the left is intolerant ever since he wore a pro-NRA hat to a left-wing march to see what happened.

Man Gives Pathetic Excuse for Stealing Teens MAGA Hat, Throwing Drink in His Face

Unless you believe that political outrage justifies any kind of violence, you probably aren’t the biggest fan of Kino Jimenez right now. He’s the 30-year-old accused of stealing a 16-year-old’s MAGA cap and throwing a drink in his face at a San Antonio Whataburger earlier this week.

Now, of course, there could be plenty of qualifications behind Jimenez’s alleged act. Maybe they have the wrong guy. Or maybe, as a single witness attested to, the incident was brought about because the 16-year-old and his friends were engaging in racist banter. (This report has led to several media outlets backpedaling and nobody seems to be able to corroborate the witness’ story as of Saturday morning, mind you, but it’s out there.)

Well, as it turns out, neither of those is the case — at least according to Jimenez, a man who desperately needs to be listening to his lawyer. On his way out of jail on Friday, Jimenez decided to deliver a de facto confession to KSAT-TV, saying he assaulted the teen because a MAGA hat is equivalent to Klan robes, as far as he’s concerned. . .

Okay, firstly: The right to remain silent doesn’t end once you get out of police custody, Kino. Apparently, your lapse in judgment didn’t just stop at Whataburger.

Secondly, a MAGA hat has the same effect as a Klan hood would have had? Really, now? You realize almost half the voters in the 2016 election voted for the person that hat represents. Man Arrested After Attacking Texas Teen Wearing ‘MAGA’ Hat

Authorities in Texas say a suspect is in custody after viral video footage depicted an apparently unprovoked attack at a San Antonio fast-food restaurant.

Kino Jiminez, 30, was arrested in Universal City and is expected to face charges including theft of a person.

Witnesses said the man violently ripped a Donald Trump campaign hat from a 16-year-old boy’s head before throwing a drink at him.

According to Hunter Richard, the man grabbed the “Make America Great Again” cap from his head so forcefully that he also ripped out several hairs.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at a Whataburger location and an area bar soon identified the suspect as a part-time employee who had been fired for his behavior.

“It came to our attention earlier this evening that a part-time employee was captured on cell phone video assaulting another person at a local eatery,” Richard wrote in a Facebook post. “The assault took place, presumably, because this employee did not agree with the other individuals political stance.”

Richard confirmed shortly after the incident that he had filed a police report against the man.

Whataburger issued a statement in response to the video recorded in one of its restaurants, as reported by KABB.

“We were shocked to see this video and certainly don’t condone this type of customer behavior in our restaurants,” the company’s corporate communications office wrote. “To be clear, no Whataburger employees were involved or witnessed the incident, and we ask that questions be directed to San Antonio PD as we continue supporting their efforts. – Whataburger Corporate Communications.”

As part of the social media attention Richard has received as a result of the video, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted his offer to replace the stolen hat.

“If someone can get me this young man’s information I’ll get him a new #maga hat… SIGNED by #potus!!!” the president’s eldest son wrote.

As the video spread widely this week, Richard told reporters that he had seen “mixed opinions” expressed online, adding that he never expected the incident to attract as much publicity as it had.

“I was looking at the comments by some people and they are like, ‘This is uncalled for,’” he said. “And other people are like mixed opinions, but I didn’t think it would blow up to what it is now.”
