DeSantis Hits Back at Illegal Immigrants’ Lawsuit, Reveals ‘Consent Form’ They Allegedly Signed

The office of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday slammed a class action lawsuit filed by illegal immigrants flown to Martha’s Vineyard last week, saying the journey was done on a voluntary basis.

The lawsuit, filed in the District of Massachusetts, alleges that DeSantis and others “designed and executed a premeditated, fraudulent, and illegal scheme centered on exploiting this vulnerability for the sole purpose of advancing their own personal, financial and political interests.”

In a statement provided to Fox News, Gov. DeSantis’ spokeswoman Taryn Fenske, slammed the class action lawsuit as “political theater” perpetrated by “opportunistic activists” at the expense of illegal immigrants.

“If these activists spent even a fraction of this time and effort at the border, perhaps some accountability would be brought to the Biden Administration’s reckless border policies that entice illegal immigrants to make dangerous and often lethal journeys through Central America and put their lives in the hands of cartels and Coyotes,” Fenske said.

Fenske provided Fox News with a copy of a consent form – available in English and Spanish – that she said was given to migrants before they boarded. (Read more from “DeSantis Hits Back at Illegal Immigrants’ Lawsuit, Reveals ‘Consent Form’ They Allegedly Signed” HERE)

Ron DeSantis Vows More Migrant Flights to Martha’s Vineyard: ‘Just the Beginning’

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is promising more flights packed with illegal aliens will be sent to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. and other liberal enclaves.

During a press conference last week, DeSantis vowed to Floridians that he will send more flights of illegal aliens to the homes of the Democrat party’s wealthiest communities.

“Now we see, in New York and D.C., they used to beat their chests when Trump was in office, saying they are sanctuary jurisdictions,” DeSantis said. “Then the minute Texas starts busing there, they get very bent out of shape about it.”

“These are just the beginning efforts,” DeSantis continued. “We got an infrastructure in place now. There is going to be a lot more that’s happening.”

The remarks came after DeSantis sent 50 illegal aliens to the elite coastal island of Martha’s Vineyard — which voted up to 84 percent for President Joe Biden. Officials on the island quickly declared a “humanitarian crisis” and the illegal aliens were swiftly deported on buses to Joint Base Cape Cod. Woke State Gets Blasted for Condoning Life-Altering Sex Surgery for Minors

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) is condemning health care establishments for normalizing sex change surgery for minors, calling it “dangerous.”

During an interview, DeSantis claimed that “gender-affirming care is a euphemism for disfiguring kids,” pointing out how absurd it is to push the left’s woke gender ideology on children.

“At the end of the day, if you look what’s happening in our society, you see institutions being infected with ideology at the expense of facts and reality,” DeSantis said, adding that “experts” who push radical ideologies of promoting sex change on minors are going down a very dangerous road.

“We’re fighting this thing with the medical board because they want to do sex change operations for minors. … A 14-year-old cannot get a tattoo, but somehow …. they will do mastectomies, they will do stuff at the bottom which is very, very problematic and irreversible,” DeSantis said.

The Florida governor announced that he and his administration will focus on not recruiting teachers who have been “taken over by ideology” but educators who share the same values as DeSantis. (Read more from “Woke State Gets Blasted for Condoning Life-Altering Sex Surgery for Minors” HERE)

DA Suspended By DeSantis Quoted The Bible To Justify Charging Christian Pastor

Andrew Warren, the Florida State Attorney suspended by Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, quoted a passage of the Bible in March 2020 to justify his support for charging a pastor who held church services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At a press conference in 2020, the Hillsborough County attorney read a passage from Mark 12:31 to justify an arrest warrant issued against Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne for holding two church services at the River at Tampa Bay County Church.

“[To] put parishioners at risk in a time of an emergency like this is not only reckless, but it’s illegal,” Warren said during the press conference. “But where people are refusing to obey law enforcement in this regard, you risk being arrested and prosecuted. I’d like to note that [I] think it’s unfortunate that the pastor here is hiding behind the First Amendment. One, it’s absolutely clear that emergency orders like this are constitutional and valid.”

“Lastly, I’d remind the good pastor of Mark 12:31, which says there’s ‘no more important command than to love thy neighbor as thyself.’ Loving your neighbors is protecting them, not jeopardizing their health by exposing them to this deadly virus,” Warren continued. DeSantis Vetoed Divorce Bill That Would Have Presumed 50-50 Time-Sharing of Children

You may have missed it in the tumultuous news cycle following the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, but Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently vetoed S.B. 1796, an attempted reform of Florida’s divorce law that would have established a presumption that equally sharing time between both parents is in the best interest of children, in addition to eliminating lifetime alimony, setting limits for durational alimony payments based on the length of a marriage, and providing a phase-out option for divorcees making alimony payments when they retire.

In his veto letter, DeSantis explained that his reasoning for vetoing the bill was tied to its potential for retroactive application to existing divorce settlements, an application he said would violate the Florida Constitution. “If CS/CS/SB 1796 were to become law and be given retroactive effect as the Legislature intends, it would unconstitutionally impair vested rights under certain preexisting marital settlement agreements,” he wrote.

While many discussions of the bill centered on the changes to alimony law, several conservatives’ disappointment with the bill’s failure focused on the provision about sharing children equally, as divorce often leads to partially or fully excising fathers from children’s lives. It is well-established that regular father presence in children’s lives greatly reduces risks for all negative life outcomes, including violence, criminality, teen pregnancy and promiscuity, depression and despair, and poverty.

Futhermore, it’s mothers who initiate nearly 70 percent of divorces, the top reasons for which are emotional rather than infidelity or abuse. Studies show that if unhappily married people stick it out in their marriages for five years, almost 80 percent will be happily married just five years later. Is Gavin Newsom Running for President? Governor’s July 4 Ad Targets DeSantis

California Gov. Gavin Newsom took aim at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a new campaign ad, claiming “freedom is under attack” in states such as Florida that are run by Republican governors.

“Your Republican leaders, they’re banning books,” Newsom says in the ad as images of DeSantis play on the screen. The California Democrat goes on to say Republican governors are also “making it harder to vote, restricting speech in classrooms, even criminalizing women and doctors.”

Newsom appeared to be referencing a DeSantis move to reject 41% of the state’s math books over concerns that the books used material that included themes of social-emotional learning, Common Core standards and critical race theory, which are all banned under Florida law. . .

“I urge all of you living in Florida to join the fight,” Newsom says, adding that Floridians could also “join us in California, where we still believe in freedom.”

“Freedom of speech, freedom to choose, freedom from hate and the freedom to love,” he continues. “Don’t let them take your freedom.” (Read more from “Is Gavin Newsom Running for President? Governor’s July 4 Ad Targets DeSantis” HERE)

DeSantis Reacts to Straw Poll Showing Him Leading Against Trump (VIDEO)

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reacted to a straw poll showing him in the lead against former President Donald Trump for the nomination in a potential 2024 presidential run.

The poll was held at the 2022 Western Conservative Summit Saturday where DeSantis acquired 71% support while Trump held nearly 68% favorability. Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third with 29% approval. A reporter asked the governor whether he has decided to run for president.

“I don’t do straw polls,” DeSantis responded. “They just put my name to these things, you know? So, what am I supposed to do? Like they sell merchandise and everything. I’d kind of like to get royalties on that.”

A Wednesday straw poll conducted at the Wisconsin Republican Convention found DeSantis narrowly leading Trump for the nomination in a potential 2024 presidential race. DeSantis held 38% while the former president acquired 32%. (Read more from “DeSantis Reacts to Straw Poll Showing Him Leading Against Trump (VIDEO)” HERE)

‘Off His Rocker’: DeSantis Blasts Biden for Tying School Lunches to LGBT Policy (VIDEO)

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) blasted President Joe Biden for requiring schools to comply with federal LGBT protections or risk losing funding for school lunches.

DeSantis has vowed to stand by Florida’s move to ban classroom instruction on sexual identity in spite of “Biden’s intentionally destructive policies like denying school lunches.”

“I mean, give me a break! Totally off his rocker to be doing that,” DeSantis said. “We’re fighting on that, don’t worry. So, we’re just prepared to be able to defend the taxpayers and the hard-working people in the state of Florida, and I couldn’t be prouder for doing that.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service announced that the National School Lunch Program for low-income students would not be provided to schools that do not adopt the Biden administration’s interpretation of Title IX, holding a provision against sexual discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. ln the most recent skirmish, DeSantis penalized the Tampa franchise after a tweet from the team’s official Twitter account took a swing at the nation’s gun laws following the mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas, according to the news site OutKick.
