DeSantis Leads Trump by Double Digits in Key States, Conservative Polling Memo Shows

By Washington Examiner. Polls conducted for a prominent conservative organization show Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) boasting a large lead over former President Donald Trump in hypothetical one-on-one matches in several key states.

A polling memo from WPA Intelligence, which performed the surveys on behalf of Club for Growth Action, found Trump trailing DeSantis by double digits in the Iowa caucus, New Hampshire primary, Florida primary, and Georgia primary.

The biggest leads for DeSantis are in Florida, with 56% compared to Trump’s 30%, and in Georgia, at 55% against Trump’s 35%. In all four states, the numbers have only gotten better for DeSantis, while support for Trump has waned.

“Republicans need to be united behind a strong candidate and a platform that shows voters real solutions to beat Biden and the Democrats in 2024,” said a statement from Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “Our polling shows that Republican primary voters recognize Trump’s insults against Republicans as hollow and counterproductive, and it’s taking a significant toll on his support.” (Read more from “DeSantis Leads Trump by Double Digits in Key States, Conservative Polling Memo Shows” HERE)

Lara Trump Warns Ron DeSantis to Not Run Against Her Father-In-Law

By Business Insider. Lara Trump has warned Ron DeSantis against running for president in 2024.

“I think that Ron DeSantis is very smart. Look, he’s a young guy. There will be a lot of opportunity for him in the future, and he knows this, to run for president. I think he’s probably waiting to see what my father-in-law does,” she told Sky News Australia host Erin Molan on Sunday. DeSantis is 44 years old, nearly three decades younger than former President Donald Trump, who is 76.

Lara Trump, a Fox News contributor who is married to Trump’s son Eric, suggested DeSantis run for president in 2028.

“I think he’s a smart enough guy to know that it will be great to have all the support of this party, of the America First MAGA movement — whatever you want to call it — fully behind him in 2028 than possibly fracturing it in 2024,” Trump said.

DeSantis on His Historic Blowout Victory: ‘Florida Is Where Woke Goes to Die’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) responded powerfully to his blowout victory in Tuesday night’s midterm election, declaring that Florida is where wokeness goes to die.

The remarks from DeSantis, who is widely considered a top 2024 presidential contender, comes after he easily won re-election with a 19-point victory over Democrat challenger Charlie Crist.

DeSantis was up by more than 1.44 million votes with 88% of the votes counted, a historic gain over his roughly 30,000-vote win against Democrat Andrew Gillum in 2018.

DeSantis’ victory in the state was so dominate that he was up by double digits in 60 of Florida’s 67 counties.

“We have embraced freedom,” DeSantis declared to a raucous crowd. “We have maintained law and order. We have protected the rights of parents. We have respected our taxpayers, and we reject woke ideology.”

Country music star Luke Bryan defended his decision to invite Florida Governor Ron DeSantis onstage during a Friday show after the move resulted in backlash on social media.

Bryan invited the Republican governor to appear during his show in Jacksonville, Florida, as part an effort to help raise funds in the wake of Hurricane Ian that devastated parts of the state last month.

“We’re going to have some fun and we’re going to raise some money tonight for the great state of Florida,” Bryan said during the show before welcoming DeSantis. As the governor walked onstage, the audience greeted him with loud cheers, a video from the concert shared to Twitter shows.

‘Big Mistake!’: Trump Drops Truth Bomb After DeSantis Endorses GOP Candidate He Disavowed

Former President Donald Trump fired off a foreboding Truth on Sunday night, reacting to a Washington Examiner exclusive that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is recording a robocall for a Republican candidate whom Trump has rejected.

That candidate is Joe O’Dea, the underdog Senate contender in Colorado who is trailing Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) in public opinion polls and last week made waves when he vowed to “actively campaign against” Trump and spoke favorably of other party heavyweights, including DeSantis.

Sharing the article written by Washington Examiner senior political correspondent David Drucker on his Truth Social platform, Trump added a brief message. “A BIG MISTAKE!” Trump said in all capital letters. Voters in Florida Arrested as Part of DeSantis Crackdown

A suspect arrested on charges of voter fraud in Florida was left confused and in the dark by police officers for why he was being detained, newly released footage showed.

When police detained Tony Patterson in August on charges of committing voter fraud back in 2020, both the officer and Patterson appeared confused by the arrest, a video posted by the Tampa Bay Times showed.

“What is wrong with this state, man?” Patterson said as he was being taken to the police car in handcuffs. “Voter fraud? Y’all said anybody with a felony could vote, man.”

When he asked the police why they were doing this now, as opposed to in 2020, a police officer responded, “I don’t know. I have no idea, man.”

The arrests were part of Gov. Ron DeSantis’s crackdown on voter fraud, which he touted at a press conference shortly after the arrest. Those arrested, 20 in all, were convicted of murder or felony sex offenses but voted in the 2020 election despite apparent violations of the process to restore their voting rights.

Voter fraud is considered a third-degree felony, and those convicted of it could face a fine of up to $5,000 and up to five years behind bars. However, in the video, the officer said agents had reduced his bond to $1,000 in total. (Read more from “Voters in Florida Arrested as Part of DeSantis Crackdown” HERE)

DeSantis Plans to Ship Illegal Aliens off to More States, Including Biden’s Hometown

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla) is planning on sending more busloads of illegal migrants to Democrat-run states as the Biden Administration continues to ignore the crisis they created.

A spokesperson for DeSantis said that he is getting ready to send illegal migrants to Illinois and President Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware.

Roughly about 100 migrants will be dispersed between the two states, which is set to begin in December.

They were originally scheduled for the beginning of October, but Hurricaine Ian delayed the process. However, DeSantis Communications Director Taryn Fenske told The AP that “while Florida has had all hands on deck responding to our catastrophic hurricane, the immigration relocation program remains active.” (Read more from “DeSantis Plans to Ship Illegal Aliens off to More States, Including Biden’s Hometown” HERE)

Dems Want to Imprison DeSantis for 10 Years for ‘Threatening’ Fauci (VIDEO)

Democrats are demanding jail for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for his rhetorical suggestion that someone grab the “little elf,” Anthony Fauci, and chuck him “across the Potomac.” . . .

But he’s now in the news, at RightJournalism, for the “threat” that came from DeSantis. . .

That’s a threat, Democrats now allege, presumably because it is physically possible for someone to grab Fauci and throw him across the Potomac.

The report explained DeSantis made the comment at a Florida GOP event in Seminole County, and now Democrats are demanding prosecutors use it to jail the governor.

“According to Dash Dobrofsky, it is illegal to threaten a public official with violence. In fact, it is a federal crime that is punishable by up to 10 years in prison,” the report said.

The Feds Have Launched a New Investigation Into DeSantis (VIDEO)

Officials at the Treasury Department have launched an investigation into Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after he relocated illegal immigrants from the Sunshine State to Martha’s Vineyard, claiming he may have improperly used COVID-19 relief funds to do so. Not surprisingly, the investigation in underway after a request from Democrats on Capitol Hill.

“The agency’s inspector general’s office confirmed to several members of Massachusetts’s Democratic congressional delegation that it planned “to get this work underway as soon as possible” to probe Florida’s spending as part of ongoing audits into how states have used the billions in sent to them as part of the American Rescue Plan, according to a letter provided by Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey’s office,” POLITICO reported Wednesday. “In an Oct. 7 letter to Markey and five House members, Richard K. Delmar, deputy inspector general for the Treasury Department told the lawmakers that the agency would “review the allowability” of Covid-19 aid to states “related to immigration generally, and will specifically confirm whether interest earned on (the) funds was utilized by Florida related to immigration activities, and if so, what conditions and limitations apply to such use.”

While the Treasury Inspector General goes after DeSantis, the office is ignoring flights organized by the federal government – under the policies of President Joe Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas – to fly illegal immigrants to cities across the country in the middle of the night. Hurricane Ian: Desantis Warns Opportunistic Post-Ian Looters That Florida Is ‘a Second Amendment State’ (VIDEO)

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis all but waved a gun in the face of thieves Friday.

“Don’t even think about looting. Don’t even think about taking advantage of people in this vulnerable situation,” the Republican said during an evening briefing before threatening potential pirates.

“I can tell you in the state of Florida, you never know what may be lurking behind somebody’s home. And I would not want to chance that if I were you, given we’re a Second Amendment state.”

Pirates may ride boats into islands destroyed by Hurricane Ian to ransack evacuated homes, DeSantis warned. (Read more from “Hurricane Ian: Desantis Warns Opportunistic Post-Ian Looters That Florida Is ‘a Second Amendment State’ (VIDEO)” HERE)

Liar, Liar: Joe Biden Claims He Spoke With Ron DeSantis ‘Four or Five Times’ on Hurricane Response

President Joe Biden claimed Thursday he spoke with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) about the federal government response to Hurricane Ian “four or five times” after initially resisting calling the governor personally.

The White House spent most of Tuesday defending the president for resisting making a personal phone call to DeSantis prior to the storm, despite previously doing so for other governors facing damaging hurricanes.

DeSantis told reporters Tuesday evening he had not heard from Biden personally, but that he would be “happy to brief the President if he’s interested in hearing what we’re doing in Florida.”
