4 Years Later: Rush Limbaugh’s Final Rendition of the True Story of Thanksgiving (VIDEO)

The late conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh delivered his final annual rendition of the true story of Thanksgiving in November 2020. Thanksgiving 2024 marks the fourth year that Americans go without his beloved tradition, but many are still keeping the tradition alive, ensuring that the youngest generations know what actually happened and what Thanksgiving is truly a celebration of.

Limbaugh delivered his final rendition November 24, 2020, and during that — when he was in the midst of battling advanced-stage lung cancer — he noted that the “True Story of Thanksgiving” is spreading.

“And I couldn’t be happier about that. Bottom line: It is spreading. I’m just gonna cut to the chase here before getting into reading the text. The Real Story of Thanksgiving, going back to the very first early days of the Pilgrims arriving at Plymouth Rock, is that socialism failed,” Limbaugh said, setting the scene of the arduous conditions the Pilgrims faced after landing in the New World, as documented by William Bradford.

Limbaugh reminded his millions of listeners that their first winter was harsh and unforgiving, and half of them died of “starvation, of sickness, exposure to the elements.”

“Now we’re getting close to what you were taught in school. When spring finally came — and, by the way, writing that doesn’t do it justice. Spring didn’t just finally come. It was a survival. It was an act of survival that you and I cannot possibly relate to or understand,” he explained.

Yes, Bo Snerdley Exists: ‘Our Beloved Rush Has Returned His Talent to God’

While the New York Times has raised doubts about his existence, the man on “The Rush Limbaugh Show” known as Bo Snerdley indeed exists, expressing his love and admiration for his boss of nearly 30 years in an emotional interview Thursday night.

James Golden, who had served as Limbaugh’s producer, call screener and engineer since 1992, spoke with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

“Sean, we can’t wrap our arms around this,” Golden told Hannity, who says he owes his own success to Limbaugh. “We can’t wrap our brains and our hearts around it that our beloved Rush has returned his talent to God. And we are so thankful for him.”

Limbaugh, after the announcement of his death Wednesday at age 70, was remembered as an “indispensable” leader of the conservative movement, a “happy warrior” who singlehandedly resurrected AM radio as he explained America and its reason for existence in a way no one else could, shaping a generation of political and cultural thought along with countless individual lives.

On Wednesday, Golden tweeted: “I cant ever thank you enough Rush for giving me life changing opportunities. I’d probably be working in a grocery store if it weren’t for you. I love you forever brother, we will meet again.” (Read more from “Yes, Bo Snerdley Exists: ‘Our Beloved Rush Has Returned His Talent to God'” HERE)

Rush Limbaugh Remembered as ‘The Indispensable Man’

Rush Limbaugh was remembered Wednesday as an “indispensable” leader of the conservative movement, a “happy warrior” who singlehandedly resurrected AM radio as he explained America and its reason for existence in a way no one else could, shaping a generation of political and cultural thought along with countless individual lives.

His wife, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, announced on his radio show his death Wednesday morning at the age of 70 at his home in Palm Beach, Florida. . .

Mark Steyn, who became Limbaugh’s top guest host in recent years, described him as “a giant of American broadcasting, a uniquely talented performer, and a hugely generous man to whom I owe almost everything.”

Steyn titled his tribute “The Indispensable Man,” noting he’s “well aware of the ironies of the headline.”

“My father liked to caution me with the old saw that the graveyard is full of indispensable men,” Steyn wrote. “But, as the conventional bias of the legacy media yielded to something far more severe from the woke billionaires of Social Media, Rush remained the Big Voice on the Right, the largest obstacle to the complete marginalization of conservative ideas in our culture. All those of us who labored in his shadows owe it to him to continue the fight.” (Read more from “Rush Limbaugh Remembered as ‘The Indispensable Man'” HERE)

By Fox News. Rush Limbaugh, the monumentally influential media icon who transformed talk radio and politics in his decades behind the microphone, helping shape the modern-day Republican Party, died Wednesday morning at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer, his family announced.

Limbaugh’s wife, Kathryn, made the announcement on his radio show. “Losing a loved one is terribly difficult, even more so when that loved one is larger than life,” she said. “Rush will forever be the greatest of all time.”

The radio icon learned he had Stage IV lung cancer in January 2020 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Trump at the State of the Union address days later. First lady Melania Trump then presented America’s highest civilian honor to Limbaugh in an emotional moment on the heels of his devastating cancer diagnosis.

Rush Limbaugh: Is This the Real Reason Supremes Rejected Texas Election Case?

The U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear a lawsuit brought by Texas and joined by 18 others against four swing states because the Washington establishment wants to get rid of President Donald Trump, contends talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh.

“There isn’t an entity in the American Deep State, Washington establishment, whatever, that doesn’t want to get rid of Donald Trump, including enough justices on the Supreme Court,” he told his listeners on Tuesday.

“The bottom line is that this is the best chance they’ve ever had to get rid of Trump and they’re not gonna hear these cases. They want him gone. It’s no more — in my humble estimation — no more complicated than that,” he said. . .

Limbaugh was asked Tuesday whether it is impossible to bring an election lawsuit.

“No, I don’t think that’s what [they are] saying because if it’s a case they wanted to take, they would take it,” he said. “You know, a friend of mine sent me a note after the Supreme Court refused to hear the Texas case. And the note is, ‘Supreme Court just said that a state that cheats in a national election, which screws everybody in the nation, is the only entity that’s allowed to do anything about it? It’s asinine. It’s like saying the only person who can prosecute a murder is the murderer.” (Read more from “Rush Limbaugh: Is This the Real Reason Supremes Rejected Texas Election Case?” HERE)

Radio Host Sounds Ominous Warning About Future of America

With the political divide in America continuing to increase, radio star Rush Limbaugh believes the nation is moving toward secession.

“I actually think that we’re trending toward secession,” the broadcaster said on his Wednesday broadcast.

“There cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs. We can’t be in this dire a conflict without something giving somewhere along the way.”

“I know that there’s a sizable and growing sentiment for people who believe that that is where we’re headed whether we want to or not. Whether we want to go there or not.” . . .

“Our problem is the fact that there are just so many RINOs, so many Republicans in the Washington establishment who will do anything to maintain their membership in the establishment because of the perks and the opportunities that are presented for their kids and so forth.” (Read more from “Radio Host Sounds Ominous Warning About Future of America” HERE)

Rush Limbaugh Announces He Has ‘Advanced Lung Cancer’

Talk radio king Rush Limbaugh stunned his 20-million member audience Monday with the announcement he’s been diagnosed with “advanced lung cancer.”

The 69-year-old conservative talk pioneer closed his broadcast with the grim news, saying he will be leaving his golden EIB microphone for treatment, but hopes to return later this week.

“This day has been one of the most difficult days in recent memory, for me, because I’ve known this moment was coming,” Limbaugh said. “I’m sure that you all know by now that I really don’t like talking about myself and I don’t like making things about me… one thing that I know, that has happened over the 31-plus years of this program is that there has been an incredible bond that had developed between all of you and me.”

The radio icon then told his audience that his job has provided him with the “greatness satisfaction and happiness” of his life.

“So, I have to tell you something today that I wish I didn’t have to tell you. It’s a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today,” he said. “I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down. The upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.” (Read more from “Rush Limbaugh Announces He Has ‘Advanced Lung Cancer'” HERE)

Rush Limbaugh Believes Trump Has Found the Perfect Way to Handle Kim Jong Un

Rush Limbaugh defended President Donald Trump’s nuclear button tweet on his show Thursday.

“If you’re dealing with lunatics and if you’re dealing with the insane, throw it back at ’em,” Limbaugh said, according to Mediaite.

The president had tweeted earlier this week, claiming that he has a “bigger & more powerful” nuclear button than Kim Jong-un on his desk.

While others worried that Trump was acting childish and that Kim Jong-un would see this tweet as a threat, Limbaugh suggested that he might be “brilliant.”

“Trump’s brilliant. He knows who he’s dealing with an how to reach them,” he said. “You know, throw a little unpredictability and lunaticism back at them.”

Limbaugh also claimed that the president’s strategy is proving to be effective and the “little pot-bellied dictator” does not know what to do.

“And it discombobulates ’em — and in fact it is. Kim Jon-un is confused.” Limbaugh said, according to Mediaite. “Kim Jong-un doesn’t know how to deal with Trump.”

He also used Trump’s tweet to criticize the media for overreacting.

“You know another thing they’re made about? They’re made that there hasn’t been a similar eruption — I mean, the left did, of course.” he continued. “But there hasn’t been a nationwide negative reaction to Trump’s tweet.”

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders also defended Trump against the media following his tweet.

NBC News reporter Kristen Welker asked Sanders about the statement during the Wednesday daily press briefing, questioning whether it is wise to provoke Kim.

“You just said that people should question the mental fitness of Kim Jong Un. So then isn’t it dangerous for the president to be taunting him on twitter?” Welker wondered.

“I don’t think it’s taunting to stand up for the people of this country. I think what’s dangerous is to ignore the continued threats,” Sanders responded. “If the previous administration had done anything and dealt with North Korea and dealt with Iran instead of sitting by and doing nothing we wouldn’t have to clean up their mess now.”

Sanders was also asked whether “Americans should be concerned about the president’s mental fitness, that he appears to be speaking so lightly about threats regarding the nuclear button?”

“The people of this country should be concerned about the mental fitness of the leader of North Korea,” she replied. “This is a president committed to protecting Americans … and he’s not going to back down.” (For more from the author of “Rush Limbaugh Believes Trump Has Found the Perfect Way to Handle Kim Jong Un” please click HERE)
