GoDaddy Cancels Whistleblower Site for Texas ‘Heartbeat’ Act

Website host GoDaddy announced Friday it is ending services for an abortion tip website.

GoDaddy made the decision in response to the new Texas law outlawing abortions after six weeks, according to Newsweek.

“Last night, we informed prolifewhistleblower.com they have violated GoDaddy’s terms of service and have 24 hours to move to a different provider,” GoDaddy said in a statement..

The website was created by Texas Right to Life in July for people to report those who violate the Texas Heartbeat Act, according to Texas Right to Life’s website. (Read more from “GoDaddy Cancels Whistleblower Site for Texas ‘Heartbeat’ Act” HERE)

Supreme Court Allows Texas Abortion Ban To Stand

The U.S. Supreme Court, in a decision that was delayed long enough to allow a new Texas abortion ban to take effect, has decided to allow the state requirements to stand pending further court review that is expected to happen in coming months.

The 5-4 majority in the decision included the three justices appointed by President Trump, and left members of the minority complaining about the violation of the U.S. Constitution because of their own perception of a “federal constitutional right” to abortion.

That topic already is on the court’s docket for later this year when a major ruling is expected on another abortion ban, this one from Mississippi, that could be used to undermine, or even overturn, the original 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that created that “right” to abortion.

The justices had failed to act on Tuesday and the law took effect on Wednesday. The opinion actually came out overnight going into Thursday, and might have been delayed because of the insistence by the four dissenters to each write their own opinion on the dispute.

The court’s three liberal justices, Sonia Sotomayor, Stephen Breyer and Elena Kagan, voted against the state’s abortion limit, and were joined by John Roberts, originally described as a conservative on the bench but more and more voting with the liberal minority. Texas Heartbeat Law Allowing Private Citizens to Sue Abortionists Slated To Take Effect

The Texas Heartbeat Act, which allows private citizens to sue abortion providers, is set to take effect September 1, despite failed attempts by the abortion industry to block it through the courts.

However, at the time of publication, Texas Right to Life reported abortion provider Whole Women’s Health applied to the U.S. Supreme Court for an injunction to block the law:

Abortionists appealed to the High Court in Whole Woman’s Health v. Jackson, and Justice Samuel Alito will consider their application.

Texas Right to Life Legislative Director John Seago responded:

The abortion industry is using their last, desperate option in an attempt to block the life-saving Texas Heartbeat Act from taking effect Wednesday. This anti-Life lawsuit is invalid. We are hopeful that Justice Alito will examine the compelling arguments raised explaining why the case should be ultimately dismissed.

Massive Nurse Shortage Hits Major City—Weeks After 150 Unvaccinated Nurses and Hospital Workers Fired

Jennifer Bridges knew what was coming when her director at Houston Methodist hospital called her up in June to inquire about her vaccination status.

Bridges, a 39-year-old registered nurse, responded “absolutely not” when asked if she was vaccinated or had made an effort to get vaccinated. She was terminated on the spot. . .

Bridges was one of more than 150 hospital workers fired by Houston Methodist hospital. . .

Shepherd and her colleagues may be disposable in the eyes of hospital administrators, but they are perhaps not as easily replaced as she or Houston Methodist thought.

Two months after firing unvaccinated hospital staff, Houston Methodist is one of several area hospitals experiencing a severe shortage of medical personnel. Media reports say hospitals have “reached a breaking point” because of a flood of COVID-19 cases. Texas Requests Mortuary Trailers as COVID Precaution Amid Border Crisis While Readying for Afghan Refugees

Texas is requesting five mortuary trailers in anticipation of an increase in dead bodies as the delta variant spikes, while the state also prepares to house thousands of Afghan refugees in addition to coping with the border crisis.

“We are anticipating a need within the state of Texas for these trailers as COVID cases and hospitalizations continue to increase,” Department of State Health Services spokesperson Doug Loveday said Monday, adding that the trailers were requested on Aug. 4.

The trailers would come from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and be stationed in San Antonio, where they would then move to various Texas locations if local leaders request them, Loveday told NBC News.

“We haven’t gotten any local requests, but we want to be ready with the COVID cases in the state,” Department of State Health Services Chris Van Deusen added, according to the outlet. “We didn’t want to wait.”

The seven-day average of coronavirus deaths in Texas sits at about 80 per day. (Read more from “Texas Requests Mortuary Trailers as COVID Precaution Amid Border Crisis While Readying for Afghan Refugees” HERE)

It’s Official: Arrest Warrants Have Been Issued for Texas Democrats (VIDEO)

The Texas Supreme Court ruled earlier this week law enforcement has the authority to arrest Democrat legislators who abandoned their posts last month and flew to Washington D.C. on a private jet. Two of them continued onto Portugal for vacation, citing non-refundable plane tickets. They fled the state in order to avoid a vote on election integrity legislation. . .

PATHETIC: Dems Who Fled Texas Now Begging For ‘Care Packages’ Like They’re Deployed Troops

The group of Democratic Texas legislators who fled the state for Washington, D.C., to block Republicans from proceeding on an election integrity bill is now requesting “care packages.”

“Our Dems in DC said they’d appreciate care packages from home. Before 5pm Tues, we’re collecting Dr. Pepper, salsa, hard candy, hairspray, travel toiletries, hand sanitizers, sewing kits, first aid, and/ or $ to pay shipping. TY!” the account for the Dallas County Democratic Party tweeted.

Conservative commentator and author Dinesh D’Souza mocked the requests for snacks and toiletries. However, Dallas Democrats fired back, calling D’Souza a “Republican airhead” who doesn’t want “Black Texans voting after church.”

The group of more than 50 legislators fled to foil Republicans from moving forward on an election security bill during a special legislative session. A quorum of two-thirds of lawmakers must be present in order to conduct business in the legislature, according to state law. Texas Has Had It With Biden’s Border Crisis – Governor Abbott Is Taking Matter Into His Own Hands

There is nothing like watching real Patriots stand up and make a difference. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that Texas law enforcement has begun arresting illegal immigrants for trespassing.

“President Biden’s open-border policies have led to a humanitarian crisis at our southern border as record levels of illegal immigrants, drugs, and contraband pour into Texas,” Abbott said in a June 10 statement. “While securing the border is the federal government’s responsibility, Texas will not sit idly by as this crisis grows. The state is working collaboratively with communities impacted by the crisis to arrest and detain individuals coming into Texas illegally.”

“Texas has begun arresting illegal immigrants who are trespassing in Texas or vandalizing property & fences. They are now being sent to this jail rather than being released like the Biden Admin has been doing. We are adding more officers, National Guard & jails,” Abbott said Thursday.

Thus far, roughly 10 people, all single, adult men, have been arrested and thrown into the hoosegow, with more to come, authorities said Thursday. The jailbirds are being held at what had been a heretofore empty state prison in Dilley, Texas, which lies about 100 miles north of the border town of Laredo. The converted facility will be able to hold just over 950 people. Clearly not the “American dream” they’d hoped for, but that’s what happens when you enter Texas illegally. Texas authorities are expecting to arrest between 100 and 200 trespassers per day. COVID Super Spreaders: Maskless Democrats Who Fled Texas Test Positive for Virus; Hypocrite: Texas Dem Tweets About Making the Rest of Us Suffer With a Mask Mandate

By USA Today. Three Texas House Democrats have tested positive for the coronavirus in Washington, D.C., according to Texas House Democratic Caucus leadership.

They’re among nearly 60 lawmakers who fled the state last week to break quorum in the House, part of an effort to block the passage of a GOP-led elections bill. Most members are staying in the same hotel.

One member found out about their positive test result late Friday evening, but they did not have symptoms, caucus officials said. All House lawmakers were alerted and received a rapid test immediately after the member’s positive result.

Two additional members tested positive in a rapid test Saturday morning, and one has mild symptoms, the caucus said. . .

The three members are vaccinated. The caucus did not release their names. (Read more from “COVID Super Spreaders: Maskless Dems Who Fled Texas Test Positive for Virus” HERE)

Texas Democrat Who Fled to DC Tweets About Making the Rest of Us Suffer With a Mask Mandate

By Townhall. One of the Texan Democrats who traveled was Rep. Gene Wu (D-Houston), who, as Katie highlighted, has some pretty insufferable tweets.

In his one of his more recent tweets, Wu quipped he is going to ask to ask President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to institute a mask policy, as he mockingly responded to a tweet.

While this article was being written, the tweet Wu was responding to became unavailable, as the owner deleted the account. It was of Vice President Kamala Harris speaking to the members in an indoor room, while she and others were without masks. . .

Despite CDC guidelines and federal mandating all passengers, regardless of vaccination status wear a mask while at the airport, on the airplane, and using other methods of travel, Wu and his colleagues all appeared without masks on their charter bus and private plan to D.C.

Here We Go: Texas Democrat Stripped of Leadership Post for Fleeing the State

State Rep. Joe Moody (D-El Paso) has been stripped of his position as speaker pro tem in the Texas House following his decision to flee the state in order to stymie the ongoing special session that Gov. Greg Abbott called.

House Speaker Dade Phelan, a Beaumont Republican, announced the removal of Moody as speaker pro tem in a memo Thursday morning before the House was set to return on Thursday. He gave no statement but said the removal was effective immediately.

“The most important titles in my life will never change: Dad, Husband, El Pasoan,” Moody said in a statement. “Nothing political has ever even cracked the top three, so nothing has changed about who I am or what my values are.”

Moody is (or was) one of Speaker Phelan’s closest Democrat allies. Two of the terms he used to describe himself — Dad and husband — are gender-specific terms forbidden by the rules adopted by the Democratic leadership in the United States House of Representatives.
