Disturbing: Seattle Children’s Promises to Keep Operating on Trans Children

Seattle Children’s Hospital doubled down on its “mission” to operate on children with sexuality and gender identity issues in a statement to the Daily Caller on Wednesday, even as pressure mounts on health systems to quit pushing irreversible surgeries on adolescent patients.

The hospital website boasts it is “the only pediatric academic medical center with fellowship-trained plastic surgeons who provide gender-affirming surgery in our region — Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.” The hospital told the Daily Caller that despite increased tension, it plans to continue performing “gender-affirming care” on its pediatric patients.

“We will continue to offer evidence-based gender-affirming care because it is lifesaving care and is aligned with our mission to help every patient live their healthiest and most fulfilling life possible,” a Seattle Children’s spokesman told the Daily Caller. “Seattle Children’s providers are specifically trained to care for the unique needs of adolescents, teens and young adults. This allows our team to offer personalized care that is tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs and goals.”

The “Surgical Gender Affirmation Program” at Seattle Children’s says it “treats teens and young adults” with gender identity issues through “complex procedures, including face and neck surgery, top surgery (breast/chest), bottom surgery (genitals) and body contouring.”

Although the hospital insists patients must wait until they are 18 years old to undergo genital surgery, including intestinal vaginoplasties that use sections of the bowel to make a fake vagina, the hospital says “a typical age is mid-teens or older” for other procedures, according to the hospital website. Witness at Congressional Hearing Claims ‘Men Can Have Pregnancies, Especially Trans Men’ (VIDEO)

During a House Committee on Oversight and Reform hearing on Thursday, Dr. Bhavik Kumar, who was a witness at the hearing, asserted that men can get pregnant — Kumar describes himself on social media as a “Family medicine physician” and “Abortion and trans care provider in the south.”

When GOP Rep. Andrew Clyde of Georgia asked whether biological men can get pregnant and give birth, Kumar responded by claiming that “men can have pregnancies, especially trans men.”

The claim that men can get pregnant is patently absurd — biological men cannot get pregnant and transgender men are just biological women masquerading as men.

Clyde pressed the issue, asking if Kumar was suggesting that a biological woman who identifies as a man and gets pregnant is actually a man.

“These questions about who can become pregnant are really missing the point,” Kumar said, indicating that the issue was not the topic that he was there to discuss. “Somebody with a uterus may have” the capacity for pregnancy, Kumar said, adding that it does not “make a difference” if the person is a woman or a man, and that not everyone with a uterus can get pregnant. Nationwide School Club Encourages Teen Girls to Crush Their Breasts

“Gender and Sexuality Alliance” (GSA) clubs at public and private schools nationwide encourage teen girls with gender dysphoria to “bind” their breasts, according to GSA resources reviewed by the Daily Caller.

Schools in Minnesota, Maryland, California, Illinois and Massachusetts are among the hundreds of schools that offer GSA clubs that promote “chest binding” — the practice of crushing healthy breast tissue — to teenage girls. Some schools, including Waltham High School in Massachusetts, raise money to purchase chest binders for teen girls who cannot afford them.

“Need a chest binder, but can’t buy one? The GSA will raise money and order one for you,” a GSA club flier reads.

The GSA club at Chaska High School in Minnesota includes links to a pros and cons list for different types of chest binders. The guidelines also note that teens who don’t have access to binders can wear two sports bras to compress their breasts. Scary: ‘Chemical Castration’ and ‘Gender Affirming’ Care Can Be Synonymous, According to Tranny Health Org

The leading transgender health association suggested at a conference last week that “chemical castration” and “gender-affirming” care can be synonymous in the context of eunuchs.

In a live-streamed session on the World Professional Association for Transgender Health’s new controversial “Eunuch” chapter, an endocrinologist described the prescription of GnRH analogues, or puberty blockers, and hormones — when given to “eunuch” patients — as “chemical castration.” When a child takes puberty blockers at the first signs of puberty and moves on to cross-sex hormones, they will be sterilized. Still, advocates have rejected the process being described as “chemical castration,” instead opting for the euphemism “gender-affirming care.”

“So before getting castrated physically, you can actually do a chemical castration, kind of, as a trial,” said Dr. Michael Irwig, an endocrinologist who contributed to the chapter. He said he’s treated two people who identify as eunuchs.

The comments came amid the debut of new Standards of Care guidelines, which included the unprecedented addition of a chapter that seeks to include “eunuch” under the “transgender umbrella.” The inclusion of eunuchs may make it easier for candidates to access castration to “affirm” their “gender identity.”

Irwig said a chemical cocktail of hormones and blockers can be used to chemically castrate eunuchs. He did not explicitly say whether dosages for the gender-affirming care of “eunuchs” would be the same as for the treatment of gender dysphoric minors. Transtape, Chest Binders and Packers: The ‘Gender-Affirming’ Gear Public Schools Are Stocking up On

In a push to create a “safer and more inclusive” environment, K-12 school districts are creating gender-affirming closets, giving students access to chest binders, stand-to-pee devices and makeup to help students change their gender identity.

Libraries, children’s hospitals and LGBTQ organizations are partnering with school districts to provide money and resources to build gender-affirming closets in the public institutions. The materials provided to students aid them in gender transitioning by mimicking the other sex.

The Driftwood Public Library in Lincoln City, Oregon, held a “Gender-Affirming Closet Donation Kickoff” in August to receive donations from the community for the gender-affirming closet at the local high school. The library asked for donations of tucking tape and chest binders in addition to bras and boxers.

“No Left Turn in Education is concerned by the trend of public schools across the nation offering gender-affirming closets for students that include products such as chest binders for girls and tucking tape for boys,” No Left Turn In Education Chief Communications Director Yael Levin told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Not only does this usurp parents’ rights, but it is practicing mental health gender-affirming medical care without staff being licensed mental health professionals and without parental knowledge or consent.” (Read more from “Transtape, Chest Binders and Packers: The ‘Gender-Affirming’ Gear Public Schools Are Stocking up On” HERE)

Detransitioner Gives Powerful Testimony Against ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ at White House (VIDEO)

An 18-year-old detransitioned woman gave a powerful testimony on Tuesday against the “gender affirming” model of care that led to her irreversible medical transition as an adolescent.

Chloe Cole spoke at a press conference in front of the White House in support of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) new bill, the Protect Children’s Innocence Act, that aims to shield minors from accessing the permanent, body- and life-altering medical treatments they may later come to regret.

“How did we get to the point where nearly every pediatric institution in the country considers it best practice to remove the healthy breast tissue of children while administering drugs typically used to chemically castrate high-risk sex offenders?” Cole said of the widespread acceptance of radical gender theory in medicine driving “gender affirming care,” which effectively puts children in the driver’s seat to dictate the terms of their own sex change.

“I believe Americans deserve to know the truth about this radical and perverse ideology, marketed as necessary and ‘life-saving’ health care,” said Cole.

Cole opened her speech with a chilling statistic, “Over the past decade, there has been as high as a 4000% increase in children being referred to so-called ‘gender clinics’ across the United States. State to Allow Transgender People to Change Their Birth Record

This week, Montana’s Department of Public Health and Human Services said that it will temporarily allow transgender residents to change the gender on their birth certificates.

The Department’s decision comes after a judge’s ruling that state health officials made “calculated violations” of his order enjoining enforcement of a state law, S.B. 280, which required for transgender individuals who wanted to change their sex on their birth certificate to undergo “gender-affirming” surgery and file a court petition.

Townhall covered last week how District Court Judge Michael G. Moses blocked the state law days after the DPHHS adopted a new rule permanently blocking residents from altering the sex on their birth certificate unless there was a “scrivener’s error” on the document.

“As some scientists have noted, ‘[h]uman sex is an observable, immutable and important biological classification,’ it is biological (and thus, genetic), binary, and immutable,” the rule stated. “The department agrees.” (Read more from “State to Allow Transgender People to Change Their Birth Record” HERE)

Avoiding Malpractice Lawsuits: Transgender Health Group Admits Reason for Removing Age Minimums for Genital Mutilation, Chemical Castration

Doctors avoiding malpractice lawsuits is the reason behind the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) releasing new medical guidelines removing age minimums for children identifying as transgender going through genital mutilation procedures.

As Breitbart News reported, WPATH released its new guidance in early September with lowered age minimums, only to remove “suggested minimal ages for gender-affirming medical and surgical treatment for adolescents” entirely in a correction one week later.

Such “gender-affirming” procedures — a phrase used to camouflage the grotesque nature of many of the procedures — include double mastectomies, female and male genital mutilation and removal, facial feminization and masculinization, hormone treatments and puberty blockers that cause chemical sterilization, and social transitioning (e.g. using “preferred” pronouns and names).

The correction was made with little to no explanation from WPATH, but a Sunday live-streamed annual conference showed the intent was to give doctors the slack needed to avoid malpractice lawsuits.

Major City to Dole Out $12,000, Free Phones to Homeless Trans, ‘Non-Binary’ People

Denver plans to dole out free phones and $12,000 apiece to 140 homeless women and transgender and “non-binary” people over the next year as part of a bigger partnership with a local nonprofit, according to a report.

The money, which totals about $1.7 million, will come out of a $2 million fund from the federal American Rescue Plan Act under a plan the city council approved, according to Axios. The money comes with no strings attached and makes Denver the latest Democratic-run city to experiment with universal basic income.

“The Denver Basic Income Project is an opportunity to explore how the philanthropic community and the private sector can augment public support for those living in poverty, particularly our unhoused neighbors, and extend that hand up to stability,’ Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said in a statement.

The city’s funds will be passed through the Denver Basic Income Project, a nonprofit that plans to raise some $9 million to hand out to an estimated 820 homeless women and transgender and non-binary people. State Promotes ‘Gender-Expansive’ Resources for Preschoolers

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is reportedly promoting transgender resources to preschool-aged children and their families.

According to an ABC-affiliated outlet KATU, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) published a guide on its website titled “Resources for Gender Expansive Preschoolers,” which contains videos, websites, articles, and other content promoting being transgender to children.

Reportedly, one of the videos promoted by the DPI comes from the Human Rights Campaign and details the story of a “transgender” first grader in Wisconsin. In the video, the child’s mother says her kid was “going to transition from being a boy to a girl in first grade.”

Another video encourages children to challenge “gender stereotypes” regarding Halloween costumes. The video shows two children, a boy and a girl, going trick-or-treating with their parents. In the end, it is revealed that the young girl dressed up as Batman and the little boy dressed up as Wonder Woman.
