Montana Health Officials: Individuals Cannot Change Biological Sex on Birth Certificate

Montana health officials have adopted a new rule that individuals cannot change their biological sex on a birth certificate even if they undergo sexual reassignment surgery.

The new rule comes after a judge temporarily struck down a similar law in April, which the state restored in May, the Associated Press (AP) reported.

The initial law had a provision that allowed individuals to change their sex on a birth certificate following a sex reassignment procedure. That law was passed by the Montana legislature and signed by Gov. Greg Gianfore (R) in 2021

On Friday, the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) changed that provision of the law, stating that individuals cannot change their sex on a birth certificate unless under a rare circumstance – such as a data entry error.

Teacher Sent to Jail After Refusing to Use ‘Gender-Neutral’ Pronouns

Enoch Burke, a school teacher in Ireland, was banned from his school over his refusal to use the pronoun “they” for a student, then arrested for returning Monday, according to the Irish news website RTE.

Wilson’s Hospital School suspended Burke from teaching while he underwent a disciplinary process for refusing to use the preferred pronouns of a student who identifies as transgender, which he said would violate his Christian beliefs, and a court issued an injunction temporarily barring him from teaching, according to RTE. Burke returned to the school anyways, and he was arrested and taken to prison.

“I am a teacher and I don’t want to go to prison,” Burke said, according to the New York Post. “I want to be in my classroom today, that’s where I was this morning when I was arrested … I love my school, with its motto Res Non Verba, ‘Actions not words,’ but I am here today because I said I would not call a boy a girl.”

He was initially suspended Aug. 24, and the court order came down Friday after he continued attending school anyways, according to RTE. He defied the court order blocking him from teaching Monday and told the court that it would violate his conscience to obey it.

Burke said in court that he loves his students and the subjects he teaches and that he didn’t want to go to prison, but he couldn’t violate his conscience by participating in the child’s gender transition process, according to RTE. Nearly 1 in 4 Democratic Voters Believe Men Can Get Pregnant: Poll

Nearly one in four Democratic voters believe men can get pregnant, according to a new poll.

The online survey, conducted by WPA Intelligence from August 22-25, found 22% of Democrats agreed with the statement, “Some men can get pregnant.” The percentage rose when only including women, and a whopping 36% of white, college-educated female Democrats concurred.

“Overall, few Americans think men can get pregnant,” said WPAi Managing Director Conor Maguire. “But with 36% of a core Democratic constituency (college-educated white Democratic women) and one out of five Democrat voters believing this, one can see why Democratic leaders coddle the radical gender theory movement.”

The poll underscores the Left’s growing embrace of a radical gender theory that biological sex does not dictate gender. People born female can later “identify” as men while retaining the ability to reproduce; hence the claim “men” can become pregnant. A recent Pew Research poll found that about 5% of young adults in the U.S. believe it’s possible to identify into a gender that differs from their biological sex.

The American Civil Liberties Union, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and numerous liberal media outlets, including CNN and MSNBC, are increasingly opting for terms such as “pregnant people,” or “birthing parent,” instead of “women” when referencing pregnancy, fertility and abortion. ‘Doctor Poses for a Picture With the Child She Just Mutilated’: Post From ‘Gender Affirming’ Surgeon With Patient Goes Viral

An image went viral over the weekend of a “gender affirming” plastic surgeon in Florida posing with a patient after so-called top surgery, which involves a double mastectomy on healthy breasts.

Sidhbh Gallagher, a Miami plastic surgeon specializing in gender transitions, captioned the photo on Instagram, “That smile!! 🙌🏼 congratulations!”

CEO of The Babylon Bee, Seth Dillon, posted a screenshot of the post on Twitter, adding, “Doctor poses for a picture with the child she just mutilated.” The patient’s age remains unclear.

Dillon’s post has racked up tens of thousands of retweets, likes, and comments. Dr. Gallagher, for her part, has limited comments via Instagram.

Detransitioner Gives Heartbreaking Testimony: ‘There’s No Fixing It’ (VIDEO)

A woman who previously attempted to transition to become a man and is now detransitioning opened up about her heartbreaking story and the consequences of transitioning.

The video, made by Jalissa Vine and titled “the aftermath of my transition,” appears to be the first in an upcoming series of videos titled “detransition diaries.”

According to the video, Vine lived as transgender for eight years and had both a double mastectomy, known as “top surgery,” and a hysterectomy.

It begins by noting, “The following is a very vulnerable and personal account of my experience as a detrans woman.”

The Transgender Movement Isn’t Just Targeting Kids, It’s Targeting Families

Evidence continues to mount that a concerted effort is underway between major hospitals and public school systems to indoctrinate children with transgender ideology and push harmful, sometimes irreversible, medical procedures on minors — sometimes without the knowledge or consent of parents.

The point of the indoctrination, though, isn’t only to create more “gender-nonconforming” students. It’s to break down family structures and parental authority. The goal isn’t simply to teach and encourage transgenderism in our schools. It’s to lay claim to the students themselves, over and against their parents and families, for purposes that go far beyond the promotion of gender identity. After all, you can’t very well reshape society according to your utopian vision if something as solid as a family is standing in the way.

The solution is to break down the family. Most recently, Christopher Rufo reported this week that the largest children’s hospital in Chicago has partnered with local school districts to promote a radical transgender agenda, including sexually explicit materials that push “kink,” “BDSM,” and “trans-friendly” sex toys for children.

In his customary muckraking fashion, Rufo has obtained insider documents from Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago detailing a collaboration between transgender activists at the hospital and public school administrators throughout greater Chicago. The primary training document, a presentation titled “Beyond Binary: Gender in Schools,” encourages teachers and school administrators to promote “gender diversity” in their districts by affirming students who mistakenly believe they are members of the opposite sex, teaching a “non-binary understanding of gender” in classrooms, and aiming to disrupt “entrenched [gender] norms in western society” in hopes of creating a more “gender creative” world. California District Curriculum Claims There’s 10 Sexual Orientations, Including Skoliosexual and Gynesexual

A California district called Newport-Mesa’s health education textbooks claimed there are over 10 sexual orientations and eight genders, Fox News Digital has learned.

A textbook ordered by the Newport-Mesa district called “Comprehensive Health Skills for High School” claims that there are eight different gender identities, including androgynous, bygender, gender-nonconforming, gender questioning and nonbinary.

The Newport-Mesa school district’s curriculum also said that there were 10 different sexual orientations including androsexual, polysexual, skoliosexual, demisexual and gynesexual.

“They are sexualizing our kids and normalizing sexual behavior [at a young age],” a mom in the district, Alicia Beget, told Fox News Digital.

“We are placing them in a situation where they think that this is safe, that this is healthy, this is how we show love. And so they are being exploited by very evil people,” Beget said. Division of US Military Branch That Faces Down China Orders End of Gender Pronouns; Leaders Claim Move Will Improve Fighting Force’s ‘Lethality’

A division of the U.S. Pacific Air Forces, which faces down China, ordered the end of gender pronouns in written formats, insisting the move to more neutral language will improve the force’s “lethality,” the Washington Free Beacon reported. . .

“In accordance with the Diverse PACAF priority, ‘We must embrace, promote and unleash the potential of diversity and inclusion,” reads a partial copy of a May email to senior leaders and commanders at the Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, which is part of the Pacific Air Forces. The Free Beacon said it obtained the email.

Base leaders were ordered to not use “pronouns, age, race, etc.” in written performance reviews or other materials, such as recommendations for awards, the outlet said, adding that the directive also said “welcoming and employing varied perspectives from a foundation of mutual respect will improve our interoperability, efficiency, creativity, and lethality.”

“Unauthorized” words and phrases include “He/She did” and “Best male/female,” the Free Beacon said.

‘So Excited’: Emails Show Local Librarians Recruiting Drag Performers for Kids

Emails from librarians who brought cross-dressing performers to Republican-leaning Saint Louis suburbs this summer illustrate how easy it is for a few public employees to hijack tax-funded resources to promote sexual behaviors to children.

Emails obtained by The Federalist show just a few local librarians in Collinsville and Glen Carbon, Illinois, working with other librarians to use their public positions to promote personal causes. The Collinsville and Glen Carbon Centennial public libraries this summer featured “drag queen storytime” events on June 3, 7, and 21 to promote homosexual “Pride Month.”

National surveys show the profession is overwhelmingly white and female — 87 and 81 percent, respectively, in a 2014 American Library Association (ALA) survey. That’s the same demographic becoming Democrats’ most significant voting bloc and often the most likely to push identity politics, often for personal psychological reasons.

While the ALA recently urged librarians whose communities don’t want public institutions to push sexual information on kids to “sneak” LGBT materials in, these librarians wanted to go further. They wanted more than a Pride Month display that merely puts sex books at toddlers’ eye level. They wanted drag shows for kids. . .

The obtained emails indicate professional librarians’ networks enthusiastically assisted with creating and promoting these events. February 2022 emails The Federalist obtained through an open-records request in June show Glen Carbon youth librarian Aimee Villet asking Saint Louis librarians to recommend drag performers to hire: “[W]ould love to offer a Drag Queen storytime at our library,” Villet wrote. Nobel Prize-Winning Biologist: Trans Movement’s ‘Unscientific’ Claims Are ‘Madness’ — Taking Hormones Is ‘Inherently Dangerous’

Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard, director emeritus at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, won a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1995. As a biologist, she has long studied DNA, biochemistry, and embryonic development. On August 22, Emma, Germany’s leading feminist magazine, published Chantal Louis’ interview with Nüsslein-Volhard, in which the biologist both attacked core claims advanced by trans activists and criticized their anti-scientific basis.

Suggesting that an ignorance of basic biology may be to blame for the “unscientific” claim that there are many genders, Nüsslein-Volhard noted (in German; the following is a Google translation) that “all mammals have two sexes. There’s the one sex that produces the eggs [and] has two X chromosomes. That’s called female. And there’s the other one that makes the sperm [and] has an X and a Y chromosome. That’s called male.”

After revisiting what she regarded as biological basics, Nüsslein-Volhard noted that the existence of hermaphrodites doesn’t complicate matters or blur the lines between the sexes. “The fact that there are hermaphrodites does not change the fact that there are two germ cells, eggs and sperm, and therefore two sexes.”

Just as “intersex” people (i.e., those with complete or partial sets of both male and female sexual organs) are not constituents or representatives of a third gender, Nüsslein-Volhard suggests that expressions of femininity in men or masculinity in women are not indicative of blurred lines but rather of varying hormonal levels and cultural influences.

The attempt to remedy the feeling of disconnect between one’s sex and perceived gender — or that the two can be separated — Nüsslein-Volhard regards as “wishful thinking.” She noted, “There are people who want to change their gender, but they can’t do it.
