Milwaukee Must Recount 31,000 Absentee Ballots Due to ‘Human Error’

Milwaukee County will run 31,000 absentee ballots through counting machines again after “human error” left the doors of the machines unsealed during an initial count.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported:

Milwaukee’s central count location will rerun about 31,000 ballots after a “sealing” error with the tabulation machines was discovered at the downtown site, potentially delaying a final count by one to three hours, city spokesman Jeff Fleming said.

“It’s just out of an abundance of caution. We have no reason to believe that there was any compromise to any of the machines,” Fleming. “But because they were not fully sealed — human error — and not fully sealed, we are going to zero them all out again … and then rerun the balance that had already been processed.”

Caroline Reinwald, a spokesperson for the Milwaukee Election Commission, said that the doors had not been properly closed for the tabulation machines.

Reported about the problem circulated on social media as well.

Notorious Wisconsin Election Official Is Ordered To Follow The Law

Swing state Wisconsin’s most notorious elections clerk repeatedly failed to follow election integrity laws. Now, on the eve of Election Day, the state’s elections regulator is ordering Green Bay Clerk Celestine Jeffreys to comply.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission sent a letter to Jeffreys late last week after finally dealing with a complaint filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) on behalf of Green Bay residents.

According to the complaint, the clerk did not comply with procedures for auditing voters who registered to vote at their polling places on Election Day for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 elections.

“In short, and as detailed further in the analysis below, the Commission finds that the Complaint did show probable cause to believe that a violation of law or abuse of discretion occurred with relation to Clerk Jeffreys’s procedural actions,” the WEC order states.

PILF filed the complaint in April, but the commission is just getting around to issuing its decision and order. (Read more from “Notorious Wisconsin Election Official Is Ordered To Follow The Law” HERE)

Tax-Funded Group Sends Anti-White, Pro-Trans Board Books to Daycares

A tax-funded organization sent “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Belonging Kits” to 300 daycares in Wisconsin this year that push leftist activism and expose very young children to racial hatred and queer relationships. The kits included nearly two dozen identity politics books for toddlers, “multicultural” play dough in six skin tones, a “Chilean rain stick,” and 12 “Diverse Family Structures” posters from Kaplan Early Learning Company that depict homosexual couples with children.

“It’s okay to wonder: Am I a girl? Am I a boy? Am I both? Am I neither?” says one page of Being You: A First Conversation about Gender, a board book in the kit sent to daycares that parent children as young as four weeks old. “Today I feel like a boy!” exclaims one character in the book by Megan Madison, Jessica Ralli, and Anne/Andy [sic] Passchier, a “nonbinary” illustrator who describes herself as “very queer.”

The kit worth approximately $600 came from the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA), according to a daycare owner who received one, Elise Wiegert, co-owner of Little Rainbows daycare in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

At first, she was excited to receive the kit, Wiegert told The Federalist in a phone call during the naptime of the eight small children she and her husband tend. It came to her house in a heavy box approximately three feet square. She was thrilled to open and share it with the children, Wiegert said — until she previewed the books.

“I’m gonna tell you, it was shocking,” she said. “… They were not appropriate for children.” (Read more from “Tax-Funded Group Sends Anti-White, Pro-Trans Board Books to Daycares” HERE)

Man’s 30-Year Hobby Reportedly Leads to Stunning Discovery of 3,000-Year-Old Artifact

A Wisconsin man’s metal detecting hobby has reportedly unearthed a remarkable piece of history in the form of an ancient spearhead, according to a Saturday report.

Dick Banaszak, a 65-year-old Public Works employee found a 3,000-year-old Copper Culture spearhead along the Root River in Racine, according to Newsweek. The find is particularly noteworthy given its location in the southernmost part of the Great Lakes region, where such discoveries are rare.

Banaszak found the spearhead while using his metal detector, a hobby he has enjoyed for three decades. “I went and sat under a tree,” he told Newsweek. “Just sat there, picked the dirt off it and was like, ‘Wow, this is thousands of years old, it was amazing, and now I have it in my hand.’”

The man says he brought the spearhead to a local university’s archaeology department which identified the artifact as a socketed-tang spear point.

‘Outrageous’ Photos: Sickening Satanic Christmas Tree on Display at Wisconsin Museum

A Christmas tree festival at the National Railroad Museum in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, has ignited controversy as two displays, one from the Satanic Temple of Wisconsin and another from the Bay Area Council on Gender Diversity, have garnered criticism from locals and Christians. The Satanic Temple’s tree, is covered with pentagrams, and the Gender Diversity tree features trans flags and ornaments.

In a November 12 social media post, The Satanic Temple – Wisconsin shared photos of its tree at the museum, inviting people to view it and highlighting handcrafted ornaments. The disturbing Facebook post includes a child.

Christian pastor Luke Farwell on Fox News stated that Christians should exercise their commitment to free speech while being mindful of offensive content and the potential impact on faith. He invoked the metaphor of the shepherd with two voices—one for the sheep and one for the wolves—to highlight the need for discernment in navigating diverse perspectives during the holiday season:

What I think Christians need to do more is exercise their ability to allow these venues to have the freedom — such as the National Railroad Museum — to host different ideologies and different groups that have different viewpoints, but recognize that Christians find these things to be offensive or definitely targeting them in terms of belittling their faith or how they celebrate the holidays.

Christmas is a time when we celebrate and really rejoice in the fact that God loves this world that we live in and God cares for us. But it also reminds us that we, as adults and parents, remember the Good Shepherd. The shepherd has two voices — one for his sheep and the other for the wolves. And we need to exert that voice.

First GOP Debate Sees Unlikely Winners as Trump Sits Down With Tucker

Eight candidates hit the stage for the first GOP presidential debate Wednesday night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opening up the chance to make an impact in a crowded field led by former President Donald Trump.

The debate, moderated by Fox News’ Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, focused on the economy, climate change, abortion, COVID-19 lockdowns, gun control, Trump’s upcoming trials, Ukraine funding, China, the southern border, education, presidential age and UFO encounters. Trump — the leading candidate in primary polls — chose to skip out on the debate, and sat down for an interview with Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson instead.

The candidates frequently sparred with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who painted himself as the young, anti-establishment choice.

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence were more prominent on the debate stage than expected, and the two traded blows with Ramaswamy on his Ukraine funding stance and age, respectively. Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie also battled for the spotlight, criticizing Trump for having conduct which he described as “beneath the office of President of the United States.”

On multiple occasions, the candidates talked over each other to attack or issue rebuttals, causing the moderators to plead for order. (Read more from “First GOP Debate Sees Unlikely Winners as Trump Sits Down With Tucker” HERE)

Four Killed in Separate Crashes at Air Show, Including Super Bowl Champ’s Daughter

Four people were killed Saturday in two separate crashes at an AirVenture airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Daughter of two-time Super Bowl-winning offensive lineman Bruce Collie, Devyn Reiley, 30, and her co-pilot Zach Colliemoreno, 20, were flying a T-6 Texan, which crashed five minutes after take-off, according to the New York Post. The World War II plane fell from the sky, where it had reached 3,900 feet, and into Lake Winnebago around 9 a.m.

“I thought they were doing a trick at first,” witness Brayden Hiebing, who was fishing in the lake at the time, told NBC News. “I heard the plane start coming out of the sky, and it started like spinning and all of a sudden it just made a big splash.”

The Winnebago County Marine Units with Dive Rescue/Recovery Team members, along with the Oshkosh Fire Department, Winneconne Fire Department, Neenah Menasha Fire Rescue, Calumet County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin DNR, U.S. Coast Guard, and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary responded to the crash, according to the Experimental Aircraft Association. Reiley and Colliemoreno’s bodies were recovered from the lake later that evening. (Read more from “Four Killed in Separate Crashes at Air Show, Including Super Bowl Champ’s Daughter” HERE)

School District Must Let Trans-Identifying Student Use Girls’ Restroom, Federal Judge Orders

A Wisconsin school district will be forced to allow male students who identify as female to use the girls’ restroom and locker room, a federal judge ordered Thursday.

The Mukwonago Area School District in the Milwaukee area is prohibited from enforcing its new policy banning students from using the bathroom of the opposite sex after Judge Lynn Adelman in the Eastern District of Wisconsin issued a temporary restraining order against the policy.

The mother of an 11-year-old trans-identifying student, a boy who identifies as a girl, filed the lawsuit on behalf of her son.

The judge’s decision blocks the district from keeping the 11-year-old boy out of the girls’ bathroom. The temporary restraining order states that the boy has been using the girls’ bathroom since he was in third grade and is entering sixth grade. The boy is reportedly currently attending summer school and was told by school district staff that he must use either the boys’ bathroom or a gender-neutral option. The restraining order also says the boy is suffering “emotional and mental harms” due to the bathroom policy.

“We are very pleased that the court recognized so clearly that our client’s rights were being violated and that immediate action was needed to protect her,” a member of the pre-teen student’s legal team told Newsweek. 18-Year-Old Male Identifying as Female Enters High School Girls’ Locker, Showers Naked Next to 14-Year-Old Students, Conservative Org Alleges

An 18-year-old male student at a Wisconsin high school who identifies as female entered the girls’ locker room and began showering naked with four 14-year-old girls, a conservative legal organization said Wednesday.

In a letter sent Wednesday to the school district, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, Inc. (WILL) said that on March 3 four freshman girls at Sun Prairie East High School (EHS) were showering and changing after a physical education class. When they entered the lockers, they found a senior male student, believed to be 18 years old at the time, in the room that contained the lockers and benches. The girls said the student wasn’t in the class with them, but proceeded to the shower area even though they were uncomfortable. They were aware that the student identified as transgender and had used girls’ bathrooms previously, according to the letter.

The girls showered with their bathing suits on, which was common practice. Just when they started to shower, WILL said, the transgender student fully undressed and entered the shower next to one of the girls. The student was initially facing the wall but then turned toward the four girls, exposing his male genitalia to all four freshmen.

“Understandably, the girls were caught off guard and shocked, closed their eyes, and tried to hurry up and leave the showers as quickly as possible,” WILL’s letter stated.

The girls didn’t know what to do and didn’t immediately report the incident, but after one girl told another student what happened, that student said they should report it, according to the letter. Three days after the incident in the shower, the uninvolved student reported it to student services. The incident should have been reported under Title IX, an anti-sex discrimination law that protects students against sexual harassment and assault. But Associate Principal Heidi Walter didn’t report the incident to the Title IX coordinator, and instead asked for the names of the students involved, according to the letter.
