So How Did Stormy Daniels Impact Opinion of Trump? Not How CNN Hoped.

So has the “Porn Star and the President” media blitz produced the result CNN hoped it would? Depends on if you’re a male or a female, but overall, no, not really.

According to a new Harvard CAP/Harris Poll highlighted by The Hill, the Stormy Daniels affair mania’s impact on Trump’s poll numbers has been a measly 1 point from last month, his overall approval down from 45% to 44%. But even that slight dip is a little misleading; the study found Trump’s numbers up 3 points since December.

When the pollsters dug a little deeper, they found that while the “Stormy Effect” appears to have hurt Trump among women, it actually helped him among men. Trump’s support among women over the last month dropped 6 points from 41% to 35%; during the same time, however, support among men rose 3 points from 50% to 53%.

Mark Penn, co-director of the poll, is certain that this “gender polarization” has a lot do with Trump’s alleged affair with Stormy. “This poll was taken right after the Stormy Daniels interview and so I think this increased gender polarization is the ‘Stormy Effect,'” he said.

While Penn and his polling group saw a subtle decline in overall support for Trump, Rasmussen’s daily presidential tracking poll Monday had nothing but good news for the president, suggesting that, if anything, the media pornstorm might’ve given Trump a boost. DOMINOES FALLING: Another CA City Fighting Back Against State’s Sanctuary Law

By The Daily Wire. The dominos are beginning to fall in California, as one city after another is joining the movement to exempt themselves from the state’s sanctuary law.

On Monday, the Huntington Beach City Council voted 6 to 1 to sue the state over SB 54, which protects illegal immigrants by limiting the cooperation between local police and ICE agents. Congressman Dana Rohrabacher said, “I am very proud of the USA. I would suggest that those who advocate for sanctuary states are betraying the American people.”

Huntington Beach follows the city of Los Alamitos, whose city council voted 4-1 on March 19 to pass a city ordinance exempting it from SB 54.

That prompted leaders in Aliso Viejo and Buena Park to say the very next day that they planned to push for a version of the Los Alamitos ordinance.

Last week, the Orange County Board of Supervisors voted to condemn SB 54 and join a U.S. Justice Department lawsuit that contends the law is unconstitutional. California Governor Jerry Brown signed SB 54 into law in October 2017; it was implemented on January 1, 2018. The law forbids local and state law enforcement from various actions. Huntington Beach Prepares to Sue State to Challenge ‘Sanctuary’ Immigration Laws

By Los Angeles Times. Huntington Beach plans to file a lawsuit against California and the state attorney general to challenge the legality of state mandates that expand protections for undocumented immigrants . . .

Several area cities have pushed against the sanctuary laws, starting in March, when the Los Alamitos City Council passed an ordinance opting out . . .

And the county Board of Supervisors voted last week to join a Trump administration lawsuit that contends the laws obstruct federal immigration law and thus violate the Constitution’s supremacy clause, which gives federal law precedence over state law.

Mueller Does Not Consider Trump a Criminal Target

By The Daily Wire. On Tuesday, a newly-released report from The Washington Post revealed that while special counsel Robert Mueller continues to investigate President Donald Trump, he does not consider him a criminal target . . .

The only member of Trump’s staff that would speak about The Post’s report was White House attorney Ty Cobb, who said, “Thank you, but I don’t discuss communications with the president or with the Office of Special Counsel.”

A report from Axios last month suggested that Mueller was no longer investigating alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, but that the investigation was primarily focused on events that happened after the election. Mueller Told Trump’s Attorneys the President Remains Under Investigation but Is Not Currently a Criminal Target

By The Washington Post. Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III informed President Trump’s attorneys last month that he is continuing to investigate the president but does not consider him a criminal target at this point, according to three people familiar with the discussions.

In private negotiations in early March about a possible presidential interview, Mueller described Trump as a subject of his investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. Prosecutors view someone as a subject when that person has engaged in conduct that is under investigation but there is not sufficient evidence to bring charges.

The special counsel also told Trump’s lawyers that he is preparing a report about the president’s actions while in office and potential obstruction of justice, according to two people with knowledge of the conversations.

Mueller reiterated the need to interview Trump — both to understand whether he had any corrupt intent to thwart the Russia investigation and to complete this portion of his probe, the people said. Liberals Have Only Helped Blacks Fail

Adding to the jeremiads from the phalanx of skin-color pimps and harlots is Latonia Westerfield. I happened upon an article by Westerfield titled: “Why Black People Don’t Need Jason L. Riley’s Help.” (March 25, 2015)

Westerfield, as is typical with her kind, had her Hanes, Jockey’s, Victoria Secrets’ or whatever brand of unmentionables she wears, in a Gordian knot because in her mind conservative Jason Riley, had dared impugn the citadel of skin-color identity politics. The citadel Jason had besmirched was the cathedral of “if you’re black, you’re a victim.” . . .

Westerfield wrote: “[Riley’s] words are indicative of why in 2015, race and racism are still cause for black people to fill the streets in protest with their hands raised in the air, demanding that their lives be seen as valuable. This is because Riley’s book doesn’t say anything new, in terms of understanding and dealing with issues in black communities, but rather presents the same old argument that dates back to slave auctions—black culture and, by extension blackness is inherently defective, “’if the rise of other groups is any indication, black social and economic problems are less about politics than they are about culture.”’

If black lives mattered to liberals, 17.3 million black women wouldn’t have paid the progeny of Margaret Sanger’s “Negro Project” to murder their babies. If black lives mattered and liberal progressive policies actually helped – between 1976 and 2011, 94 percent of all blacks killed, wouldn’t have been killed by other black people.

Without going into the rest of Westerfield’s maudlin essay, her response validates what I have been saying all of my adult life, i.e., blacks are inculcated from cradle to grave to embrace being victims based upon color of skin. To her kind there is nothing as insufferable as a “black” person who isn’t a victim and who doesn’t harbor deep-seated antipathy against America, (read: white people). China Moves to Neuter King Dollar in International Trade

Last Monday, the Shanghai International Energy Exchange launched the first futures contract for crude oil priced in Chinese yuan. It’s a major step forward in the process of international de-dollarization. Now Chinese and other international traders can buy and sell the world’s most important commodity in a liquid market without using U.S. dollars.

The “petro dollar” now faces the prospect of being rendered unnecessary as China – the world’s biggest oil importer – attempts to establish a “petro yuan.”

China is launching a pilot program to purchase oil from Russia and Angola (two of its top suppliers) using yuan. Russia and China share a common interest in trying to break the dollar’s dominance in global commodity trading.

The two powers have been among the world’s top gold accumulators in recent years, with some reports suggesting Russia is now also loading up on silver for the possible launch of a silver ruble. Russia and other emerging commodity supplier markets stand to be among the big beneficiaries of a weaker dollar, as does China.

That’s a view echoed by Frank Holmes, CEO and Chief Investment Officer at U.S. Global Investors.

Holmes told listeners of the latest Money Metals podcast,

When we went back over 20 years of data analysis, the emerging markets always do well with a weaker dollar. So, I think that bodes well for rising GDP per capita. And rising GDP per capita in China and India is very important for the love trade, which is 60 percent of all demand for gold, and also good for silver. So, I think from that end we could probably see this continuous buying like we’ve been seeing out of China.

The ability to sell oil for yuan, then trade yuan for gold in Shanghai, Hong Kong, or other regional exchanges bodes well for demand. Foreign sellers of oil to the Chinese don’t necessarily want to hold yuan per se, especially as China still imposes currency controls that prevent the yuan from being freely traded on international markets.

Viral Video Exposes News Stations Across U.S. Pumping Exact Same Scripted Fear Into Viewers

Videos that show the striking similarities between the scripts used by local TV anchors and reporters are nothing new, but a recent compilation has taken the Internet by storm as it shows dozens of news stations coming together to warn about the dangers of “fake news” with an eerily identical script.

The video started with news clips from four different stations across the country in which each anchor read from a teleprompter that appeared to say, “Our greatest responsibility is to serve our [insert location here] communities. We are extremely proud of the quality, balanced journalism that [insert station here] produces.”

Then nine stations were featured on the screen and they all said in unison, “But we’re concerned about the troubling trend of irresponsible, one-sided news stories plaguing our country. The sharing of biased and false news has become all too common on social media.”

“More alarming, some media outlets publish these same fake stories… stories that just aren’t true, without checking facts first,” the videos continued, as at least 36 stations filled the screen at one time. “Unfortunately, some members of the media use their platforms to push their own personal bias and agenda to control ‘exactly what people think.’”

Then the video highlighted one important line that was parroted by each station:

This is extremely dangerous to our democracy.

The one major thing that each of these local stations has in common is that they are all owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, a media conglomerate that is the largest television station operator in the United States with around 200 stations in more than 100 markets.

The segments were filmed as promotional videos, and multiple local anchors who participated told CNN that in addition to scripts, they also received direct instructions from their corporate bosses.

“Please produce the attached scripts exactly as they are written. This copy has been thoroughly tested and speaks to our Journalistic Responsibility as advocates to seek the truth on behalf of the audience,” the instructional document said, according to the anchors.

The document then went into detail on how the anchors should dress and the colors they should wear to appear politically unbiased:

Talent should dress in jewel tones. However, they should not look political in their dress or attire. Avoid total red, blue and purples dresses and suits. Avoid totally red, blue and purple ties, the goal is to look apolitical, neutral, nonpartisan yet professional. Black or charcoal suits for men…females should wear yellow, gold, magenta, cyan, but avoid red, blue or purple.

The anchors reciting the scripts in the promo videos state that they believe “it’s our responsibility to pursue and report the truth. We understand truth is neither politically ‘left nor right.’ Our commitment to factual reporting is the foundation of our credibility, now more than ever.”

They then acknowledge that “we are human and sometimes our reporting might fall short,” and they encourage viewers to visit the station’s website and submit their concerns, “if you believe our coverage is unfair.” However, the instructional document reportedly states that “corporate will monitor the comments and send replies to your audience on your behalf.”

Local TV stations are often looked at as different and set apart from the major mainstream media networks because they focus on a single community, instead of tackling the realm of national politics. However, each local station is owned by a much larger corporation like Sinclair Broadcast Group and when the owner demands that hundreds of its employees make identical promotional videos, they follow orders.

As The Free Thought Project has reported, while there was once a time when the mainstream media was run by dozens of companies, it is now controlled by six corporations, which all have ties to the Council on Foreign Relations, and as is the case with this report, “The narrative created by CFR and its cohorts is picked up by their secondary communicators, also known the mainstream media, who push it on the populace with no analysis or questioning.”

The Personal Data Google Has on You Is Shocking and Dwarfs That of Facebook, Here’s How to Stop It

As TFTP reported last week, it was revealed that both the Obama campaign and the Trump campaign used third-party integrations to collect private information on millions of unsuspecting Facebook users. The resultant scandal has sent Facebook’s stock tumbling as well as created a firestorm for Mark Zuckerberg and his fellow data miners. Remaining conveniently out of the scrutiny, however, is Google, whose data mining of private information, according to a recent report, dwarfs that of Facebook.

Web developer Dylan Curran, based in Waterford, Ireland, is making headlines this week after he recently downloaded both his Facebook data file and his Google data file.

As TFTP has reported, the information Facebook keeps on its users is utterly mind-blowing, consisting of everything from text messages to liked posts, the social media giant is building profiles on billions. However, according to Curran, this is nothing compared to what Google has.

“Want to freak yourself out? I’m gonna show just how much of your information the likes of Facebook and Google store about you without you even realising it,” Curran wrote before giving a breakdown of all the information insidiously gleaned by these information giants.

They also have data from your calendar, your Google hangout sessions, your location history, the music you listen to, the Google books you’ve purchased, the Google groups you’re in, the websites you’ve created, the phones you’ve owned, the pages you’ve shared, how many steps you walk in a day …

Curran then goes on to list all the Facebook data before focusing back in on Google.

I got the Google Takeout document with all my information, and this is a breakdown of all the different ways they get your information.

According to the file, Google knows every image you’ve ever downloaded and where you accessed them. They also know what events you’ve attended and when—even when you don’t enter them in your own calendar.

What’s more, even if you’ve deleted all this information, Google still has it! “This is my Google Drive, which includes files I explicitly deleted including my résumé, my monthly budget, and all the code, files and websites I’ve ever made, and even my PGP private key, which I deleted, that I use to encrypt emails,” explains Curran.

Google even knows your workout routine as the fit app maintains records of all of it. They also maintain all of your photos, even deleted ones.

“This is all the photos ever taken with my phone, broken down by year, and includes metadata of when and where I took the photos,” said Curran.

But that’s not all. They also have every email you’ve ever sent and received, including deleted ones and spam. They have a record of every single website you’ve ever visited, every search you’ve ever done, every app you’ve ever used, and every news article you’ve ever read.

As Curran notes:

This information has millions of nefarious uses. You say you’re not a terrorist. Then how come you were googling Isis? Work at Google and you’re suspicious of your wife? Perfect, just look up her location and search history for the last 10 years. Manage to gain access to someone’s Google account? Perfect, you have a chronological diary of everything that person has done for the last 10 years.

This is one of the craziest things about the modern age. We would never let the government or a corporation put cameras/microphones in our homes or location trackers on us. But we just went ahead and did it ourselves because – to hell with it! – I want to watch cute dog videos.

If we continue to be okay with unknown corporate entities watching our every move, collecting every bit of our personal information, and using all of it against us, the words “freedom” and “privacy” will become but a fleeting memory. While you may think you have nothing to hide if you’ve done nothing wrong, it’s only a matter of time before someone deems your completely legal behavior a threat—and uses this massive spy tool to stop that threat.

Now for the solution. Stop giving Google all these permissions, go through your device’s permissions and disable everything that may let Google collect your information. Stop using letting Google record you by disabling the voice recognition. Use browsers like Firefox or TOR that don’t spy on you. Use search engines like DuckDuckgo.com. Use VPNs and quit paying for internet services that allow third-parties to collect your information.

Kyle Kashuv Calls out David Hogg by Revealing How He Spent Spring Break

In the aftermath of the Parkland school shooting, numerous students from the school have become public advocates for stricter gun laws in the U.S.

One of the most notable advocates to come from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is David Hogg, who hid with several other students as suspected gunman Nikolas Cruz roamed the high school and fatally shot 17 people.

Ever since Hogg became an outspoken advocate for gun control, he has been the subject of criticism by many of those who support the Second Amendment and gun rights, including Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

On Wednesday, Ingraham claimed in a tweet that Hogg, who is currently applying to colleges, was “whining” about several rejections letters he has received.

That comment sparked controversy, and eventually led into a back-and-forth between the Fox News host and Hogg, who called for sponsors of Ingraham’s show to boycott it altogether.

Ingraham eventually apologized, saying that it wasn’t her intention to “hurt” the “brave victims of Parkland,” including Hogg.

Despite the apology, multiple sponsors did end up dropping Ingraham’s show. Then, on Friday, Ingraham announced she would be taking the next week off.

That prompted a snide comment from Hogg, who tweeted, “Have some healthy reflections this Holy Week.”

But fellow Parkland survivor Kyle Kashuv wasn’t having any of it. In a tweet of his own, he indicated that Hogg was “spending your entire spring break trying to ruin a cancer survivor’s career who is a single mother of 3 adopted children from foreign countries.”

“Dude, this is just sad,” he concluded.

Ingraham was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, and since recovering, has always been adamant about being called a “thriver” rather than cancer “survivor.”

The Fox News host also adopted her daughter Maria from Guatemala, and has two sons from Russia — Dmitri and Nikolai. Ingraham is an avid supporter of both international and domestic adoption.

However, despite Ingraham’s apology and the road that has led her to become one of the most-listened-to women in political talk radio, Hogg argued that things in America are changing and the younger generation is a big part of this change — no matter who they’re up against.

In “tolerant” places like Hollywood, coming out as a conservative or as a Republican is more shocking than coming out as gay. Conservatives are routinely discriminated against for their viewpoints.
