Smoking Gun? Sharyl Attkisson Shares Damning Edits to Comey’s Original Comments on Hillary Scandal

In what is being called the “smoking gun that the ‘fix’ was in,” investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson tweeted what former FBI Director James Comey originally wrote in his comments on Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified emails and what his words looked like after suggested changes from an FBI reviewing official.

“Document 34: What Comey originally proposed to say about Clinton classified email, and the changes FBI reviewing official suggested,” Atkisson tweeted.

The original sentence: “There is evidence to support a conclusion that Secretary Clinton, and others, used the private email server in a manner that was grossly negligent with respect to the handling of classified information.

The edited sentence: “Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate the laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in very sensitive, highly classified information.” . . .

Americans may now understand why the left is throwing everything, to include the kitchen sink, at President Donald Trump in a desperate attempt to remove him from office. As the fact that all of this occurred under the tutelage of their messiah, Barack Obama, is not lost on them. (Read more from “Smoking Gun? Parkland Activist’s Reaction to SWAT Incident at Home Is a Big Red Flag

. . .The media darling [David Hogg] who has made a name for himself for expressing outrage over gun violence — and the 5 million law-abiding members of the NRA — shrugged off a report that the Broward County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting someone in his home with a weapon in a possible hostage situation, prompting a S.W.A.T. team to respond, ABC News reported.

Besides the remarkable fact that the media was on hand for the raid on the home, the “super-excited” 18-year-old brushed the incident off by calling it a “silly prank.” . . .

Hogg was not home at the time of the incident. He was in Washington, D.C. with his family accepting a human rights award from the Robert F. Kennedy foundation.

Of all the responses to the incident from Twitter, National Review’s Jim Geraghty may have tweeted the most cerebral response.

“They’ll release the 911 tape of the swatting of Hogg’s family to see if any members of the public can recognize the voice, right?” he asks. “Because this a crime, not merely a ‘silly prank.’”

Shock Report: Obama Lied to Congress and Skirted Sanctions to Try to Funnel Cash to Iran

A Senate report unveiled Wednesday displayed shocking new revelations about the “scandal-free” Obama administration and its hell-bent, desperate quest to secure a deal with the Iranian regime.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee revealed that the Obama administration ignored U.S. sanctions, lied to Congress, and misled the American people in order to funnel billions of dollars to the terrorist regime that rules Iran.

The Associated Press reports:

“The Obama administration secretly sought to give Iran access — albeit briefly — to the U.S. financial system by sidestepping sanctions kept in place after the 2015 nuclear deal, despite repeatedly telling Congress and the public it had no plans to do so.”

The Senate committee found that the Obama Treasury Department planned to issue a sanctions-thwarting license to empower two U.S. banks to help Iran convert $5.7 billion Omani rials into Euros. They did this by first exchanging the Omani currency into U.S. dollars.

“If the Omani bank had allowed the exchange without such a license, it would have violated sanctions that bar Iran from transactions that touch the U.S. financial system,” the AP report added.

“The Obama administration misled the American people and Congress because they were desperate to get a deal with Iran,” Sen. Rob Portman, the chair of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, said in a statement. “Despite claims both before and after the Iran deal was completed that the U.S. financial system would remain off limits, the Obama administration issued a specific license allowing Iran to convert billions of dollars in assets using the U.S. financial system.” (For more from the author of “Obama Lied to Congress and Skirted Sanctions to Try to Funnel Cash to Iran” please click HERE)

In 2018 GOP Primaries, Anti-Establishment Means Pro-Trump

There’s a popular meme in conservative political Twitter: “Establishment Always Wins.” Observing the results of recent primary elections, including Tuesday’s contests in eight states, it is apparent that at this moment, the meme is true and the Republican establishment is prevailing over more conservative candidates.

So far in the 2018 primary cycle, only one incumbent House Republican with a moderate voting record has been defeated by a conservative primary challenger. Most GOP incumbents, even the ones who voted for atrocious pieces of legislation like the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill, are sailing through Republican primaries unscathed. The pattern held Tuesday night, as no incumbent Republican was defeated in a primary — though Rep. Martha Roby, R-Ala., was forced into a runoff election because she did not win 50 percent of the vote in her first-place finish.

Conservatives are faring slightly better in open primaries, but only slightly. The Texas delegation is poised to shift to the right, as House Freedom Caucus-friendly candidates like Chip Roy have won Republican primaries in safe districts where more moderate Republicans are retiring. Last night, Freedom Caucus-endorsed candidate state Rep. Yvette Herrell won her primary in New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District. But in New Jersey, conservative Steve Lonegan lost to self-described “moderate” John McCann. In past primaries this year, conservatives lost in two open House seats in Indiana, two open seats in Ohio, and the open seat in West Virginia’s 3rd Congressional District vacated by Rep. Evan Jenkins, R-W.Va. (F – Liberty Score® ).

There is, sadly, nothing like a Tea Party wave to knock out incumbent Republicans with conservative challengers in 2018 — a fact that may seem surprising after President Donald Trump’s dominating anti-establishment 2016 presidential campaign. Where are the voters who decided to block establishment figures like Jeb Bush from the 2016 GOP nomination?

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon told the New York Times his theory is that “people are starting to realize that the anti-establishment thing is kind of a luxury we can’t afford right now.” However, Congress’ abysmal approval rating and the prevalence of Republicans running on Trump’s “drain the swamp” message seems to show voters are as fed up as ever with the Washington status quo. So why are Republican incumbents winning primaries when they are a part of this failing status quo? Counterintuitively, it’s because Donald Trump is the president.

Trump, as president, is the de facto head of the Republican Party. Whenever he uses his bully pulpit to declare that his administration wants to drain the swamp, the perception he creates among Republican voters is that the whole party is trying to drain the swamp. In politics, perception is reality. If a Republican running for Congress declares support for the president (virtually all of them have), then the perception among voters is that this candidate wants to drain the swamp.

In this way, in Republican primary contests in 2018, voters are identifying the anti-establishment candidates as the candidates who are most pro-Trump or the ones Trump supports.

Tuesday’s election results bear this out. The one Republican incumbent in trouble, Roby, is facing backlash because during the 2016 election, she declared she would not vote for Trump in the general. In the race where conservative Lonegan lost, his moderate Republican opponent deployed a brutal ad accusing Lonegan, a 2016 Cruz supporter and “free the delegates” activist during the Republican National Convention, of being anti-Trump. The ad featured clips of the president referring to Lonegan as a “loser.”

The big surprise of the night happened in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, where 69-year-old attorney Seth Grossman came out of nowhere to win a four-man race with an underfunded campaign. Grossman ran an unabashedly pro-Trump campaign, adopting the president’s positions on immigration, supporting repeal of Obamacare’s mandates, teaching “what made America great in our schools again,” and stopping “obstruction and fake impeachment charges” against Trump. Running as the most pro-Trump candidate worked, and he shocked observers by winning the primary with double digits over the closest runner-up.

Republican primary voters are not looking for conservatives to challenge the GOP establishment in this cycle. They are looking for candidates who support President Trump’s agenda, because that agenda is perceived as the anti-establishment agenda.

The danger here lies in the fact that moderate and liberal Republican incumbents are being re-nominated in GOP primary contests even though they do not support Trump’s mission of draining the swamp. And disappointingly, President Trump continues to endorse failing-grade Liberty Score® incumbents like Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., who have spent their careers in Washington D.C. creating the status quo voters elected Trump to disrupt. One Perfect Tweet Captures Why Americans Don’t Like National Anthem Protests

With all the rapid-fire controversy surrounding the NFL and the national anthem protests, people might lose sight of why protesting the national anthem is so upsetting to Americans in the first place.

Today, on the anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy during World War II, veteran Navy Seal and New York Times bestselling author Robert J. O’Neill reminded everyone “why we don’t like kneeling.”

The sacrifice of generations of American soldiers of all colors, faiths, and national heritage who died to defend their families and their country is profaned by protesting the national anthem.

And that’s why people get upset. (For more from the author of “One Perfect Tweet Captures Why Americans Don’t Like National Anthem Protests” please click HERE)

James Woods Celebrates Trump’s Economy With Hilarious Anti-Obama Meme

The unemployment level may be at an 18-year low, but it’s not exactly like the Democrats are giving the president or Republican-controlled Congress any credit for it. If anything, they’re downplaying it. . .

So, what did conservative actor and Twitter legend James Woods do? Well, first he attacked Pelosi and the Democrats, who he said were following a “strategy … based on welfare, illegal immigration, and taxing those who work and create.”

And then, he reminded Twitter users about what the past administration said about jobs — with a not-safe-for-work meme.

[Warning: explicit language used in tweet image.]

Woods was referring to remarks Obama made during a town hall-style meeting during the 2016 campaign in Elkhart, Indiana.

During the meeting, one worker said, in reference to the Carrier plant job losses, that Obama was “doing a lot of things, but in Indianapolis, there’s nothing there for us.” (Read more from “James Woods Celebrates Trump’s Economy With Hilarious Anti-Obama Meme” HERE)

Kathy Griffin Launches Vile Attack on Ivanka Over Kate Spade’s Suicide

. . .Washed-up “entertainer” Kathy Griffin is best known to the American public for the incredibly distasteful picture she posted of herself last year holding a mock severed head representing President Donald Trump . . .

But Griffin’s own attack on Ivanka this week – in response to the first daughter’s thoughtful Twitter post on the suicide of fashion designer Kate Spade — was beyond the bounds of rational behavior. Even for a nut job like Griffin, it was way too far. . .

Any suicide is tragic, of course, but Spade’s was particularly noteworthy. Starting out as a journalist in the fashion world, she had made an international name for herself by founding a hugely popular fashion line that centered on women’s handbags but included a range of fashion products, according to Biography.com.

As word of the death spread, Ivanka Trump – who has built her own brand of success in the fashion world — took to Twitter to express her sadness, and urge any readers who might be in danger of harming themselves to seek help. . .

That’s about as unobjectionable a tweet as has even been posted. But for a borderline-lunatic like Griffin, it was a red flag to charge.

Watch: Woman Lifts Table, Rips Fliers, Dances and Screams at Conservative Students

. . .A liberal university student was caught on camera committing both, after she was “triggered” by conservative students telling the truth about socialism.

During an event held at Santa Clara University, the conservative group Turning Point USA hosted a peaceful anti-socialist demonstration. According to Campus Reform, local students held an event May 31 that recognized the millions of innocent people killed under socialist and communist regimes.

The Black Book of Communism, published by Harvard University, estimates a death toll of near 100 million from communism and socialism, with the Soviet Union and China responsible for the most atrocities. . .

“Incensed by the display, an outraged individual approached the TPUSA students as they were tabling nearby, ripping up their anti-socialist posters and calling them ‘a bunch of f—ing Trump supporters,” reported Campus Reform. . .

Apparently destroying someone else’s property is completely fine as long as you claim to stand with the poor, while ignoring the appalling poverty of socialist nations like Venezuela. (Read more from “Watch: Woman Lifts Table, Rips Fliers, Dances and Screams at Conservative Students” HERE)

Bombshell Report Provides Insight to How Comey Acted as FBI Director

Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report about the Justice Department and FBI’s 2016 investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server is expected to be made public in the coming weeks, and one source told ABC News the draft of the report uses the word “insubordinate” to describe former FBI Director James Comey’s behavior.

“The draft of Horowitz’s wide-ranging report specifically called out Comey for ignoring objections from the Justice Department when he disclosed in a letter to Congress just days before the 2016 presidential election that FBI agents had reopened the Clinton probe, according to sources,” ABC reported.

Horowitz’s draft report was also critical of Comey for failing to consult with Attorney General Loretta Lynch and other senior Justice Department officials before making his July 5, 2016 announcement on national TV in which he said said that while there was no “clear evidence” that Clinton “intended to violate” the law, the former secretary of state was “extremely careless” in her “handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

Horowitz also criticized former Attorney General Loretta Lynch in the draft report for her handling of the federal investigation into Clinton’s personal email server, the sources told ABC News.

The draft of the report was finished last month. Horowitz said the Justice Department and FBI will be permitted to submit a formal response that will be attached to the final report.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump went on Twitter to complain about the delay in the report’s release.

Rudy Giuliani, one of the president’s lawyers, told the Associated Press in recent days that he believed the report would be damaging to Comey’s reputation.

“This is going to be the final nail in his coffin,” Giuliani said of Comey. “This guy has already proven to be a leaker and liar and we believe the report is going to make that plain.”

The report has been widely expected to be critical of Comey. The only question is just how damaging the report would be of the former FBI director.

“It’s not going to be good, it’s just a question of how bad it’s going to be,” a former Justice Department official told CNN last month of what’s expected to be in Horowitz’s report.

CNN law enforcement analyst James Gagliano said sources tell him to expect “a damning indictment” of Comey and the FBI’s upper echelon.

According to a May 16 report in The Washington Post, “The report is expected to blast former FBI director James B. Comey for various steps he took in the investigation, particularly his announcing in July — without telling his Justice Department bosses what he was about to say — that the FBI was recommending that Clinton not be charged, and for revealing to Congress just weeks before the presidential election that the bureau had resumed its work.”

According to The Wall Street Journal, the report is also expected to scrutinize whether former FBI Director Andrew McCabe should have recused himself from the Clinton investigation, since his wife’s campaign for the Virginia legislature was aided by then-Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a Clinton ally.

The report is also likely to criticize the thousands of texts exchanged by two FBI employees — agent Peter Strzok and attorney Lisa Page — who were extremely critical of President Donald Trump and others, the WSJ reported.

The report is currently being reviewed and is expected to be released this month. (For more from the author of “Bombshell Report Provides Insight to How Comey Acted as FBI Director” please click HERE)

Secret Genocide: Thousands Christians Killed, Pregnant Women Raped

Christians are being slaughtered in Myanmar and the country’s government is doing its best to hide this fact from the world, a recent investigative report revealed.

“The area is hidden from much of the world, as the Buddhist-majority Myanmar has denied journalists and aid agencies access to the region,” The Christian Post reported.

International observers, foreign diplomats and politicians have also largely been denied access to the country by Myanmar’s government officials.

However, an investigative team from Sky News managed to travel to the isolated region and were told by locals that a “second genocidal campaign” is being waged by the Burmese military.

Already over 700,000 people have been forced to flee Bangladesh in the face of what the United Nations calls a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing” against the region’s Rohingya Muslims.

Now a second ethnic cleansing is being carried out against the minority Christian Kachin people.

“I am convinced the Burmese government is trying to ethnically cleanse the Kachin people,” a mother of four by the name of Lashi Ókawn Ja, told Sky News.

“Whenever they see Kachin people they try to kill us and they rape the women, even the women who are pregnant,” she said.

The persecution against Muslims from the Myanmar military has gone unchallenged, which is the reason their attention has now turned to Christians as well, locals said.

According to Sky News, the military attacks the Christians are carried out at random and indiscriminately, primarily from the air or by using artillery.

“Maybe their actions against us are not so sudden as their violence against the Rohingya, but their intentions are just the same,” said vice president of the Kachin Independence Council General Sumlut Gunmaw.

“They want to eliminate us.”

Gunmaw said he delivered several documents explaining the violence against the Kachin people to British and UN diplomats, but the allegations have been ignored.

Open Doors USA, a non-profit group that supports persecuted Christians worldwide, ranks Myanmar as number 24 in country’s where Christians face the worst persecution. (For more from the author of “Secret Genocide: Thousands Christians Killed, Pregnant Women Raped” please click HERE)
