A High-Ranking Democrat Was Reportedly in a Two-Year ‘Throuple’ Relationship with an Employee. Will Her Party Care?

The following is an excerpt from Blaze Media’s daily Capitol Hill Brief email newsletter:

A top Democrat on an influential House committee has reportedly been a part of a polyamorous long-term “throuple” including her estranged husband and a female campaign staffer.

According to a report published at RedState on Friday evening, California Democratic congresswoman and vice chair of the House Oversight Committee Katie Hill first hired the staffer in 2017, and she became involved with Hill and her husband soon after. The three even took vacations together. Hill broke things off with the two earlier this year after moving to Washington. There have also been reports that the congresswoman is romantically involved with a male congressional staffer, for whom she allegedly left her husband. Hill has yet to factually push back on the report.

The question is how Democratic leadership will react to this story. The story is about a sitting member of Congress with a position on a high-profile House committee currently engaged in investigating the president for impeachment. This is the kind of employer-employee relationship power dynamic that so many people criticized when the #MeToo movement started to make headlines two years ago. So, we’re all about to see if any of that matters to the powers that be or if this story will end up under the rug.

Colleges Teaching Professors Not to Grade on Quality of Work

In higher education’s ongoing quest to appeal to the “woke” crowd, colleges and universities across the country are now training professors about “inclusive grading” as part of a larger focus on diversity and inclusion.

The College Fix reported that Boise State University (BSU) is the latest in a long line of schools to jump on the ‘inclusive grading’ bandwagon. This week, the university is hosting an event called “Inclusive Teaching Means Inclusive Grading, Too.” The event is part of a larger certificate program, called Boise State Uniting for Inclusion and Leadership in Diversity (BUILD).

Information regarding the event could not be accessed, but other events with the same name offered insight into what is now being taught. From the Fix:

“BSU’s event has the exact same name as a previous University of Tennessee-Knoxville faculty workshop. It was aimed to “engage instructors in conversations and activities designed to foreground diversity and inclusion in considerations of assessment and grading practices.”

The University of Michigan held a faculty workshop with a near-identical name as well. The Center for Research on Learning and Teaching stated on its website that attending teachers would “be asked to review their own practices” on grading throughout the event. Jury Rules Against Dad Fighting 7-Year-Old Son’s Gender Transition, Chemical Castration

On Monday, a jury ruled against a Texas father, Jeffrey Younger, attempting to save his seven-year-old son from a gender transition being facilitated by Dr. Anne Georgulas, the boy’s mother and Younger’s ex-wife.

“With a consensus of 11 of the 12 jurors, the jury decided not to grant Mr. Younger Sole Managing Conservatorship over his two twin boys,” LifeSiteNews reported Monday. “They voted that the current Joint Managing Conservatorship should be replaced by a Sole Managing Conservatorship, but that Mr. Younger should not be that person.”

According to the report, Georgulas has been granted authority to move forward with puberty blockers, which can cause chemical castration, and, potentially, hormones. Moreover, Mr. Younger will likely be forced to “affirm” his son’s new gender identity: a girl named “Luna.”

”I want you to imagine having electronic communication with your son on FaceTime, and imagine that your ex-wife has dressed him as a drag queen to talk to you,” Younger told host Luke Macias during an episode of “The Luke Macias Show” podcast in January. “He has false eyelashes and makeup. His hair has got glitter in it. He’s wearing a dress.”

“Now imagine how you would feel seeing what I believe is actual sexual abuse — I believe this is not just emotional abuse but is the very, most fundamental form of sexual abuse, tampering with the sexual identity of a vulnerable boy,” the father continued. Police Organizations Torch 2020 Democrat’s Gun Confiscation Plan

Former Rep. Robert Francis O’Rourke (D-NM) (aka ‘Beto’) is the left-wing blowhard on guns that liberals fear. Why? Well, it’s because he gives up the playbook and he did so on a national stage. You all know about his plan to confiscate so-called scary guns from the hands of the law-abiding citizenry. AR-15 rifles, one of the most popular in the U.S., and AK-47s are the two scary rifles anti-gun liberals want out of the hands of civilians. Only the government can be trusted with guns is the de facto position of the Democratic Party—and Beto did a crackerjack job in picking Kent State University to make that pitch. Because nothing says trust government with guns than a site where the National Guard shot and killed four students in 1970.

Bob thinks that these people will simply comply with his authoritarian policy. They won’t. As for his plan to send cops to confiscate these weapons, law enforcement groups have rightly said this initiative is nuts and could lead to fatalities. Julio wrote about a bunch of sheriffs from around the country who have torched this idea; they called Bob “delusional” for even suggesting this was a rational policy. And now some of the largest law enforcement organizations are bashing this grossly unconstitutional plan. This is the confiscation of private property. We’re a nation that values freedom. Sorry, Bob, but like Medicare for All—it’s an election killer. But thanks for giving us oodles of ammunition and media to use against your party for the next generation. The Free Beacon’s Stephen Gutowski has more (via Free Beacon):

National law enforcement organizations harshly criticized Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s plan to send police officers to collect AR-15s and AK-47s from those who refuse to turn them in under his mandatory buyback scheme.

In interviews with the Washington Free Beacon, leaders from groups representing hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers described Beto’s gun confiscation plan as “ridiculous,” “asinine,” and likely unconstitutional.

WATCH: Fast Food Workers Manhandle Global Warming Protesters

Employees at an In-N-Out burger restaurant in Long Beach, California are being praised for adroitly handling “Extinction Rebellion” protesters who thought they could barge into the establishment, create tons of noise, and disturb everybody within earshot all for the sake of raising awareness about global warming. Rather than acquiesce to these left-wing protesters’ demands, one In-N-Out employee simply picked up a grown man who was leading the demonstration and carried him out of the joint before calling police who promptly took over the situation.

As you can see in the following video, an In-N-Out employee named Tim, in his uniform replete with the classic company hat and red apron, simply manhandled the lefty and hauled him off the premises.

Transgender Activists Force Menstrual Products Brand to Remove ‘Women’ from Packaging

Always, a brand of menstrual products, has been forced to scrub the “woman” symbol off their packaging in response to a coordinated effort by transgender activists to punish the brand for “discrimination” against transgender individuals.

The Daily Mail reports that the Procter & Gamble-owned brand caved into a boycott campaign that began when transgender activists noticed that Always placed the “Venus” symbol — a circle with a plus sign or cross beneath it, universally recognized as the sign for the female gender — on the wrappers of some of its sanitary products.

“A trans activist using the pseudonym ‘Melly Boom’ had tweeted in July asking Always why it was ‘imperative’ to have the sign on their sanitary products,” according to the Daily Mail. “The tweet said: ‘There are non-binary and trans folks who still need to use your products too you know!’”

Ostensibly, ‘Melly Boom’ is referring to female to male transgender individuals who may identify as a different gender but who do not undergo surgical or medical transition, which would make them theoretically “male” but with a female reproductive system and monthly periods. Some social media users also claim that trangender females can have “period-like” symptoms once a month.

A high profile transgender activist named Ben Saunders also pestered Always in June after the release of a documentary about Saunders’ transtion from female to male. The Always team replied directly to Saunders after making their decision, telling Saunders that, “We are glad to inform you that as of December we will use a wrapper design without the feminine symbol.” (Read more from “Transgender Activists Force Menstrual Products Brand to Remove ‘Women’ from Packaging” HERE)

Mitt Romney Attacks President Trump over Recent Remarks

Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, took a series of shots at President Trump in an interview that aired Sunday, saying that some of the president’s rhetoric appealed to racism and claiming that under his leadership, the U.S. was abandoning allied Kurdish fighters in Syria.

Romney, who said he wrote in his wife, Ann, when he voted in 2016, told “Axios on HBO,” “The places where I would be most critical of the president would be in matters that were divisive, that appeared to be appealing to racism or misogyny, and those are the kinds of things I think that have been most, most harmful long term to the foundation of America’s virtuous character.” . . .

Romney, a former Massachusetts governor, has become one of the loudest voices on the right to condemn Trump openly. . .

He added in the interview: “People will recognize that character really is important in our leaders and that it’s important for our leaders to do things that unify us, that welcome people who come here legally as immigrants, that in no way signal to anybody in America that they’re less of an American because of where they came from or their sexual orientation or their race or their religion.” . . .

“Well, clearly, the world watches and people who potentially could be our allies at a critical time say perhaps the U.S. won’t stay with us. Perhaps they’ll cut and run if they think it’s in their best interest. And, walking away from the Kurds in a corner of Syria at a critical time when the troops coming from Turkey are intent upon doing them harm is something which I think would be a very dark spot in American history.” (Read more from “Mitt Romney Attacks President Trump over Recent Remarks” HERE)

U.S. Troops Leaving Syria Will Go to Western Iraq

Defense Secretary Mark Esper says that under current plans all U.S. troops leaving Syria will go to western Iraq and the military will continue to conduct operations against the Islamic State group to prevent its resurgence.

Speaking to reporters traveling with him to the Middle East, Esper did not rule out the idea that U.S. forces would conduct counterterrorism missions from Iraq into Syria. But he said those details will be worked out over time.

His comments were the first to specifically lay out where American troops will go as they leave Syria and what the counter-IS fight could look like. Esper said he has spoken to his Iraqi counterpart about the plan to shift the more than 700 troops leaving Syria into western Iraq.

As Esper left Washington on Saturday, U.S. troops were continuing to pull out of northern Syria after Turkey’s invasion into the border region. Reports of sporadic clashes continued between Turkish-backed fighters and the U.S.-allied Syria Kurdish forces despite a five-day cease-fire agreement hammered out on Friday between U.S. and Turkish leaders.

Trump ordered the bulk of the approximately 1,000 U.S. troops in Syria to withdraw after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made it clear in a phone call that his forces were about to invade Syria to push back Kurdish forces that Turkey considers terrorists. Man Wins Women’s Cycling World Championship

Biologically male cyclist Rachel McKinnon won a women’s world championship Saturday.

McKinnon, representing Canada, won gold for the sprint event in the women’s 35-39 age category at the 2019 Masters Track Cycling World Championships in Manchester, England.

McKinnon told Sky News in an interview that aired Friday that it would be unfair if the cyclist was kept out of women’s events.

“So, if we want to say, that I believe you’re a woman for all of society, except for this massive central part that is sport, then that’s not fair,” McKinnon said.

McKinnon said in a tweet Sunday that a “real champion” would accept biologically male athletes competing in female athletics. (Read more from “Man Wins Women’s Cycling World Championship” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Swipes at Trump with Fake Letter Mocking Trump’s Missive to Erdogan

Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to mock the president about his recent letter to Turkish President Erdogan. She quoted the picture “Found in the archives….”

. . .Trump’s letter received some criticism for possibly sending mixed messages as he threatened to destroy the Turkish economy, but also ended the note by saying “I will call you later.” Hillary poked fun at this in her Tweet with a similar quote, “Give you a jingle later.”
