After Those Remarks, Dr. Fauci’s Judgement Balance Just Hit Zero (VIDEO)

Oh, you already know the words folks: ‘You’re fired.’ I’ve seen it. There’s a lot of skepticism and anger directed at Dr. Fauci, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. For months, I have given him the benefit of the doubt. He’s a medical expert, right? Why shouldn’t I? Well, if you were on the fence about him, his remarks about New York’s COVID policy should have you in facepalm mode. No, I mean, for a guy who has tried to stay out of the politics of this COVID fiasco, these remarks are medical malpractice. Apparently, the Empire State was the place that “did it right” concerning fighting this virus. . .

I know I’m late to the party—many of you were already here—but book me as a total Fauci skeptic now. He’s finished. After these remarks about a policy that was responsible for tens of thousands of deaths, he’s got to be ignored, like the rest of his colleagues and the media, who have reacted as if no other pathogens existed before coronavirus (via CNBC):

White House health advisor Anthony Fauci has praised New York for its handling of the coronavirus pandemic, saying the state responded “correctly” to bring its outbreak under control.

“We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases. We have done it. We have done it in New York,” Fauci said in an interview with “PBS NewsHour” that aired Friday evening.

“New York got hit worse than any place in the world. And they did it correctly by doing the things that you’re talking about,” he continued.

President Trump: There Will Be No National Mask Mandate; but Fauci Responds, States Must Force Mask Mandate

By Breitbart. In an interview set to air on this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” President Donald Trump rejected the possibility of a national mask mandate. . .

“No, I want people to have a certain freedom, and I don’t believe in that,” Trump said. “No, and I don’t agree with the statement that if everybody wear a mask, everything disappears. Hey, Dr. Fauci said, don’t wear a mask. Our Surgeon General – terrific guy – said, don’t wear a mask. Everybody who is saying don’t wear a mask – all of sudden everybody’s got to wear a mask, and as you know, masks cause problems, too. With that being said, I’m a believer in masks. I think masks are good.” (Read more from “President Trump: There Will Be No National Mask Mandate” HERE)

Fauci Tells States to Be Forceful With Mask Mandates

By CNN. The nation’s top infectious disease expert on Friday urged governors and mayors to “be as forceful as possible” to get people to wear face coverings.

Social distancing, an important factor in blunting the spread of coronavirus, can be difficult with more people going out, Dr. Anthony Fauci said.

“When you’re living your life and trying to open up the country, you are going to come into contact with people. And for that reason, we know that masks are really important, and we should be using them everywhere,” he said during a US Chamber of Commerce virtual event. California Frees ‘Mr. Rape, Torture, Kill’ Sex Offender From Mental Hospital

California state officials have freed a sex offender considered “dangerous” from a mental hospital where he spent more than 20 years there in confinement.

Cary Jay Smith, 59 years old, was released from the Coalinga State Hospital this month after being in state custody since 1999. Smith was originally placed in state custody after his wife provided evidence of her husband’s intentions to sexually abuse a seven-year-old boy in their Costa Mesa neighborhood.

During hearings every six years, Smith has said that he goes by the name “Mr. RTK,” which stands for “Mr. Rape, Torture, Kill” and has claimed to have murdered three boys and sexually abused 200 others. Smith has said he fantasizes about raping and killing boys.

“Smith, an unstable individual, has openly made threats to rape and murder children and has stated that he would re-offend upon his release,” Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Michelle Steel said in a statement.

“The fact that he is being released back into our community is unconscionable,” Steel said. “We must take this threat to our community very seriously and ensure that everyone in Orange County is aware of this individual’s grave threat to our children.” (Read more from “California Frees ‘Mr. Rape, Torture, Kill’ Sex Offender From Mental Hospital” HERE)

Donald Trump Promotes Wearing Masks

President Donald Trump on Monday shared an image of himself wearing a mask, noting that many people believed it was “patriotic” to do so. . .

President Trump shared the image on Twitter as government officials continue pressing for more mask mandates to fight the virus.

In an interview with Fox News host Chris Wallace last week, Trump resisted calls for a national mask mandate from Democrats like New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and former Vice President Joe Biden.

“I want people to have a certain freedom, and I don’t believe in that,” Trump said, adding that he did not agree with the idea that if everyone wore a mask the virus would vanish. Trump also said during the interview that he was a “believer in masks” but added that “masks cause problems, too.

California Bans In-Home Bible Studies

Churchgoers sued California Gov. Gavin Newsom over his ban on indoor services in several counties, including in-home Bible studies.

Harvest Rock Church and its ministry argued the ban, which was aimed to stop the spread of the coronavirus, is unconstitutional and they’re asking the court for an injunction, permitting churchgoers to still meet and not face consequences from the state.

“While the Governor has unilaterally and significantly restricted the number of individuals permitted to ‘gather’ in Plaintiffs’ churches, he has imposed no similar restrictions on the untold thousands of protesters who have gathered all throughout California cities with no threat of criminal sanction, and no social distancing or restrictions whatsoever,” the complaint filed Saturday read. “And, the Governor explicitly encouraged such large gatherings of protesters while condemning churches for [singing] hymns in their churches” . . .

Harvest Rock Church, represented by the religious liberty legal group Liberty Counsel, argued the ban applies to at-home Bible studies too, which the church helps facilitate.

“Governor Gavin Newsom cannot disregard the First Amendment and ban all in-person worship in private homes and churches. Nor can the state micromanage the form of worship by banning singing or chanting. The governor is not the High Priest over all religions,” said Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel. China Orders Christians to Replace Crosses and Images of Jesus Christ With Portraits of Communist Leaders

The communist Chinese government is ordering some Christians to take down religious symbols, including crosses, crucifixes, and images of Jesus Christ, and to replace them with communist leaders, according to a new report.

The startling report of religious oppression was reported in Bitter Winter, a religious liberty magazine.

“All impoverished households in the town were told to display Mao Zedong images,” said a local pastor to Bitter Winter.

“The government is trying to eliminate our belief and wants to become God instead of Jesus,” he added.

The order was made in April when communist party officials visited believers’ homes in the city of Linfen, located in the northern province of Shanxi. (Read more from “China Orders Christians to Replace Crosses and Images of Jesus Christ With Portraits of Communist Leaders” HERE)

PROTECTING PEDOPHILES: Facebook Removes Viral Video Takedown of Jeffrey Epstein for ‘Bullying and Harassment’ (VIDEO)

Facebook flagged Andrew Schulz’s scathing video takedown of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein for violating company standards on “harassment and bullying,” removing the clip from public view after it had already garnered a million views. Asked by The Federalist why the video was removed and whether it would be restored, Facebook did not respond with an explanation by publishing time.

“Our pieces strive to express the feelings of what we believe to be the majority of Americans. Americans whose views exist in between both political extremes. We figured one issue that would have bipartisan support would be making fun of pedophiles and their enablers. Apparently Facebook feels otherwise,” Schulz told The Federalist on Monday.

“Also,” he added, “how the f**k can I bully billionaires?”

Schulz, a hugely popular YouTube comedian, posted the six-minute video to his Facebook page on July 12. Maxwell was arrested on July 12 and hit with multiple charges connected to Epstein’s serial sexual abuse of teenage girls. The British “socialite” is alleged to have spent years grooming young women for Epstein.

“Ghislaine & Epstein… How DEEP Their Pedo Connections Go,” Schulz captioned the video on Facebook. “The evil broad Ghislaine Maxwell has finally been arrested and it’s time to give her, Epstein, and everyone that enabled them some bars. Enjoy the massacre!”

Missouri Couple Who Defended Home Against Protesters Facing Charges (VIDEO)

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner said Monday she’s charging the couple who flashed guns at a crowd marching to the mayor’s home last month, further igniting the gun-rights debate.

Gardner, the city’s top prosecutor, said Mark and Patricia McCloskey will be charged with felony unlawful use of a weapon following the June 28 incident.

“It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner — that is unlawful in the city of St. Louis,” Gardner said in a statement. She added that she was recommending a diversion program as an alternative to jail.

The McCloskeys have said many times they were defending themselves, with tensions high in St. Louis and other cities over race and law enforcement. They said that the crowd of demonstrators broke an iron gate marked with “No Trespassing” and “Private Street” signs, and that some violently threatened them.

In a statement to Fox News, the couple’s attorney, Joel Schwartz, called the charges “disheartening.”

Biden Wants Schools to Teach ‘More About Islamic Faith’

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden spoke to a summit of Muslim voters Monday, telling them he wished U.S. schools taught more about Islam.

“I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith. I wish we talked about all the great confessional faiths. It’s one of the great confessional faiths,” Biden said Monday at the “Million Muslim Votes” summit hosted by Emgage Action.

Emgage Action, the country’s largest Muslim American PAC, endorsed Biden in April after endorsing Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary.

Biden told the voters he would end President Trump’s travel ban affecting Muslim-majority countries on day one of his presidency and blamed the White House’s current occupant for “an unconscionable rise in Islamophobia.”

Biden also said he “won’t write love letters to dictators,” and would work to “meet the moral demands of the humanitarian crisis in Syria, Yemen, and Gaza.” He said he would champion the rights of Palestinians and Israelis to have a state of their own, among other priorities. Oh Yeah, There’s an Election: Presidential Campaign Overshadowed as World Explodes

By Washington Examiner. For those outside the Washington, D.C., Beltway and not consumed with political news, it’s easy to forget that there’s a presidential election this year. While society-changing, earth-shattering events such as the coronavirus pandemic, mass unemployment, and violent protests have taken center stage, the 2020 election itself is a bit of a snooze.

President Trump and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden certainly respond to the catastrophic events as they try to sustain their campaigns. But the election itself is not driving the news, a dramatic change from previous years.

An April Pew Research Center survey found that 52% of people in the United States were paying close or fairly close attention to news about presidential candidates, significantly down from the same point in the 2016 cycle when 69% said they were paying close or very close attention to the presidential candidates. Meanwhile, 87% in the April survey said that they are paying close or very close attention to the coronavirus pandemic.

A former D.C. political digital operative now based on the Pacific Northwest put it bluntly: “Truly, who can really be thinking about the election when the pandemic is happening and it feels like society is ripping apart at the seams?”. . .

Even seasoned political operatives and activists confess that the Trump-Biden contest slipped their minds. (Read more from “Oh Yeah, There’s an Election: Presidential Campaign Overshadowed as World Explodes” HERE)

Trump Declines to Say Whether He’ll Accept 2020 Election Results in Fox News Interview

By Newsweek. President Donald Trump declined to say whether or not he will accept the results of the presidential election in November during an interview broadcast by Fox News Sunday.

“I have to see. Look … I have to see,” Trump told Fox News anchor Chris Wallace when he asked if the president would accept election results if he lost. “No, I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either.”

During the interview, the president dismissed polls that show him trailing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden by significant margins – with many showing him down by double digits nationally.

“First of all, I’m not losing, because those are fake polls. They were fake in 2016 and now they’re even more fake. The polls were much worse in 2016,” the president said. (Read more from “Trump Declines to Say Whether He’ll Accept 2020 Election Results in Fox News Interview” HERE)
