Pentagon Effectively Bans Confederate Flags on All Military Property

The Pentagon on Friday unveiled a new policy that effectively bans the display of the Confederate flag — without actually naming it.

The policy … reflects an effort to find a compromise on the divisive issue, as Defense Secretary Mark Esper strives to satisfy military leaders without irking President Donald Trump, who has criticized NASCAR for banning the flag.

A draft version of the policy reportedly explicitly banned the Confederate flag on Defense Department property. Yet the official language simply lists the types of flags that are allowed to be displayed, including the American flag; the flags of the U.S. states, territories and the District of Columbia; military flags and those of allies.

“The flags we fly must accord with the military imperatives of good order and discipline, treating all our people with dignity and respect, and rejecting divisive symbols,” Esper wrote in the memo. The guidance applies to the public displays of flags by service members or DoD civilians “in all DoD work places, common access areas, and public areas.” (Read more from “Pentagon Effectively Bans Confederate Flags on All Military Property” HERE)

FBI Watched Trump the Day He Took Oath of Office

FBI Agent Peter Strzok and his FBI Crossfire Hurricane unit were focused on the White House during President Trump’s inauguration celebration, so much so that the “angry” agent complained he was kept out of the loop on a bureau counter-intelligence briefing there.

Mr. Strzok, who would later be fired for his anti-Trump messages to FBI lawyer Lisa Page, erupted the day after Mr. Trump became president, according to newly released emails obtained by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog in Washington.

Mr. Strzok said in an email to his boss, counter-intelligence chief Bill Priestap, he could have folded the FBI briefing into his strategy for investigating Trump associates. (Read more from “FBI Watched Trump the Day He Took Oath of Office” HERE)

Joe Biden Receiving Intelligence Briefings

Former Vice President Joe Biden has started receiving intelligence briefings as the Democratic presidential nominee.

Biden, 77, revealed the development during a campaign fundraiser on Friday night, according to a pool report.

“We know from before, and I guarantee you I know now because now, I get briefings again,” he said. “The Russians are still engaged in trying to delegitimize our electoral process. Fact.”

“China and others are engaged as well in activities that are designed for us to lose confidence in the outcome,” Biden added.

It’s unclear when Biden first started receiving intelligence briefings, but he said on June 30 that he hadn’t been getting them at that point. (Read more from “Joe Biden Receiving Intelligence Briefings” HERE)

‘The Great Uprising’: Iranian Dissident Group Holds Global Summit Calling for Regime Change

Rudy Giuliani, former Sen. Joe Lieberman, and a slate of other prominent U.S. figures joined thousands of dissidents at a virtual summit calling for regime change in Iran.

The Friday event marked the annual gathering of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, a leading opposition group that works to topple the government of Iran. Usually, the gatherings are held in Europe and bring together dozens of speakers and thousands of attendees, but this year, because of the coronavirus pandemic, it was held online through the popular communication platform Zoom.

Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer, Lieberman, a former senator from Connecticut, and former Democratic Sen. Robert Torricelli of New Jersey, all appeared side by side to address the large gathering, which organizers said included viewers from more than 100 countries. The three men have a history of advocating for the NCRI, which is an umbrella organization for the People’s Mujahedin of Iran, or Mojahedin-e Khalq, or MEK. The names are frequently used interchangeably to refer to the Albania-based organization.

The group is led by the 66-year-old Maryam Rajavi along with her husband, 71-year-old Massoud Rajavi. Despite officially being one of the leaders of the organization, Massoud has not been seen publicly since his disappearance in 2003.

Maryam Rajavi addressed the virtual crowd and called for an end to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s regime. She hailed the organization of her group and also expressed solidarity for protesters and dissidents working within Iran, who have been subject to imprisonment or worse. Christian Children’s Book Author Announces He’s Gay, Is Leaving His Wife

Matthew Paul Turner, a Christian children’s book author, has come out as gay and is in the process of divorcing his wife.

Turner is the author of at least 16 Christian books, including children’s books, “When I Pray for You” and “When God Made You.” . . .

Turner, who is also the former editor of CCM, made the abrupt announcements on social media.

In a Friday Instagram post, Turner said he aims to “embrace freedom, hope, and God as a gay man.”

View this post on Instagram

I have difficult news to share. After much thought, prayer, and counseling, Jessica and I have made the decision to end our marriage. While we’re best friends and thoroughly love doing life, parenting, and pursuing our dreams together, ending our marriage is necessary because I am gay. ▪️ Being gay isn’t a new discovery for me. However, as someone who spent 30+ years in fundamentalist/evangelical churches, exploring God through conservative theologies, I lived many days overwhelmed by fear, shame, and self-hatred. Though my own faith evolved long ago to become LGBTQ+ affirming, my journey toward recognizing, accepting and embracing myself took much longer. But for the first time in my life, despite the sadness and grief I’m feeling right now, I can say with confidence that I’m ready to embrace freedom, hope, and God as a gay man. ▪️ I would not be able to say that without Jessica’s undying grace and support. I fell in love with her 17 years ago and still love her deeply. Despite her own grief and pain, she has loved and encouraged me to be fully me. Many of the steps I’ve taken recently wouldn’t have happened without Jessica walking beside me, helping me through every fear. Jessica is and will always be my hero. She’s brave, strong and showcases love like nobody I know. ▪️ Our utmost desire is to move forward in love and compassion for each other and put the well-being of our kids first. Coming out to my kids was one of the hardest, most beautiful things I’ve ever done. Loving and protecting their stories will always be our first priority. ▪️ I will continue to write children’s books and am grateful for the support of my publisher Convergent Books. Writing books about wholeness, hope, and God’s love for children is an honor and privilege I do not take for granted. ▪️ That said, we ask that you be kind and respectful toward us. Anyone who posts comments laced in shame, criticism of our family, our theology, or our choices will be blocked. ▪️ Throughout these hard months, Jessica and I have looked at each other many times and said, “we’re going to be okay.” And on most days, we fully believe that. Please keep us in your thoughts/prayers as we engage this new path.

Black Professor Blasts ‘Dehumanizing Condescension’ of Bestselling Book ‘White Fragility’; Sleep Is for Privileged White People, Activists Call for ‘Rest Reparations’

By Fox News. The bestselling book “White Fragility,” whose ideas have gained mainstream currency in the wake of protests against police brutality and systemic racism, dehumanizes and infantilizes Black people by encouraging a “cult” of White guilt, Columbia University associate professor John McWhorter argued this week.

McWhorter, who is Black, charged in The Atlantic. that “White Fragility” is “about how to make certain educated [W]hite readers feel better about themselves.”

The book by Robin DiAngelo, a White woman who works as a diversity consultant for corporations, was first published in 2018. Its paperback edition has been on The New York Times bestseller list for 97 weeks.

“DiAngelo’s outlook rests upon a depiction of Black people as endlessly delicate poster children within this self-gratifying fantasy about how [W]hite America needs to think,” McWhorter wrote. “Or, better, stop thinking. Her answer to [W]hite fragility, in other words, entails an elaborate and pitilessly dehumanizing condescension toward Black people.”

For example, McWhorter claimed, DiAngelo recommends White people refrain from or engage in certain behaviors in order to avoid reinforcing racial inequality, including not crying in Black people’s presence while discussing racism and not asking Black people about their feelings or experiences. Sleep Is for Privileged White People, Popular Magazine Says — So Now Activists Call for ‘Rest Reparations’

By The Blaze. Teen Vogue published an article last week alleging sleep is indicative of systemic racism.

Now some activists are calling for “rest reparations” in the form of sabbaticals and time off from work and other strenuous activities. . .

The article, titled, “Black Power Naps is Addressing Systemic Racism in Sleep,” reveals the Black Power Naps initiative, which alleges that African Americans typically have shorter life spans when compared to their white peers.

Black Power Naps — created by writers Navild Acosta and Fannie Sosa — insists that black lives are shorter than white lives because blacks experience “generational fatigue” simply on the grounds that they are African American. . .

Writers Acosta and Sosa revealed that they experienced an epiphany: They were always tired, and realized that it was because they were impacted by “hundreds of years of sleep deprivation” that was due to systemic racism. Lockdowns, Protests Causing Big Spike in Child Trafficking

. . .Child sexual exploitation and trafficking ranks amongst the fastest-growing criminal enterprises in the world, with the United States leading the way in consumption of child exploitation material. But during the COVID -19 pandemic, crimes such as those allegedly committed by Hardman have risen to levels I have never seen before during my almost two decades in working these criminal cases as a special agent, undercover operator, and CEO of two different anti-trafficking organizations.

Why is pedophilia flourishing during a global pandemic? Societal support structures that keep children safe (schools, sports programs, music lessons, etc.) have vanished, shut down per government directives. Taking such life-protecting measures has left many of our children sitting idle at home with computer screens or smartphones in front of their faces.

With moms and dads otherwise preoccupied, fighting for their jobs and procuring food and supplies for their families, these children are left to surf the Internet, often without proper (or any!) supervision. Pedophiles, often jobless, are also stuck at home with computers.

Law enforcement has reported that, during the government shutdowns, as they have monitored chatter on the deepest reaches of the Internet, child predators like Danny Hardman are openly admitting to one another that pandemic time is harvest time. They confess to one another they are living a pedophile’s dream.

In March alone, there were more than two million reports of Internet crimes against children, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That is more than double similar reports from the same period a year earlier. Things got worse in April, with some 4.1 million reports of Internet crimes against children — a fourfold increase from April 2019. WATCH: Mark Zuckerberg Trashes Trump’s Handling of Pandemic in Facebook Chat With Dr. Fauci

Mark Zuckerberg told Dr. Anthony Fauci that President Donald Trump is to blame for the United States being “significantly worse” than other countries in how it has handled the coronavirus pandemic.

The Facebook CEO slammed Trump and his administration’s response to the pandemic during a Thursday afternoon discussion with the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, in a conversation that was streamed by Reuters.

“At this point, it is clear that the trajectory of the U.S. is significantly worse than many other countries, and that our government and this administration have been considerably less effective in handling this,” Zuckerberg noted.

University Student Government Leaders Resign Because They’re White

Kent Brockman has said it before and he’ll say it again: “Democracy simply doesn’t work.”

It’s a view also embraced by the president and vice president of the University of Connecticut’s Undergraduate Student Government, who spurned the students who voted for them four months ago by resigning their elected positions. . .

VP Alex Ose was the first to go last week, according to The Daily Campus. She cited “the climate and incidents of racial injustice across the country and at the university” without elaborating on what’s wrong at UConn (or why she can’t address the perceived problem as an elected official):

“I feel that it is my duty to step down from my position to make space for BIPOC (black, indigineous and people of color) voices to truly rise and be heard. It is my responsibility to make space, not to create an echo.”

Ose is also pressuring the remaining white members of the student government to resign, asking them to consider their “intent” in student leadership (to lead?) and whether they “truly” believe “they are making space for the voices that need to be heard right now” – the aforementioned BIPOCs. Christian Genocide: Over 1,200 Killed in Nigeria in First Half of 2020

Over 1,200 Christians were slaughtered in Nigeria in the first six months of 2020, according to a human rights group based there.

The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law said the killing of Christians had reached “genocidal” levels, the Nigerian Voice reports.

The perpetrators are Islamist militants and members of the predominantly Muslim Fulani group.

The report attributes 390 of the deaths to radical Islamist groups like Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province, both of which are linked to ISIS.

Some 812 deaths were attributed to Fulani herdsmen who have targeted Christian farming communities. (Read more from “Christian Genocide: Over 1,200 Killed in Nigeria in First Half of 2020” HERE)
