NBA Players Reportedly Want to Leave Houston Rockets Because Team Owner Supports Trump

Houston Rockets’ stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook are reportedly pursuing trades, and, according to TMZ, they want to leave the team because its owner, Tilman Fertitta, supports President Trump.

Yahoo Sports reported that NBA reporter Ric Bucher said “The Odd Couple” podcast with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker that Fertitta’s support of Trump has led to a player “revolt,” saying:

I’m hearing that Tilman Fertitta’s strong Republican support and donations is one of the things that is contributing to this dissatisfaction, and those two [Westbrook and Harden] are not the only ones to want out of Houston. Lesser players are of the same mind. There is a revolt here because they look at Fertitta as a guy who supports the current president.”

Soros, Bloomberg-Funded Group Pushes Six Figures Into Georgia Runoff

A group bankrolled by liberal billionaires George Soros and Michael Bloomberg is pouring $300,000 into Georgia to back Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the runoff elections.

The Black PAC, which works to push black voters to the polls, on Tuesday reported spending $300,000 on canvassing for the two Democratic candidates. This is the first significant expense from an outside liberal group in the pivotal Georgia runoffs that will determine which party controls Congress’s upper chamber next year. The elections are expected to garner tens of millions in outside spending from Democratic and Republican groups.

The Black PAC is heavily financed by left-wing billionaires, dark money, and the Chuck Schumer-tied Senate Majority PAC. It received $1.5 million from the Democracy PAC, a super PAC created by Soros, and $6.32 million from Bloomberg. The Sixteen Thirty Fund, which has been used as an avenue to push $55 million in secret cash into the 2020 elections, gave $2.25 million, while the Senate Majority PAC added $1 million. Other liberal groups, such as America Votes, Unite the Country, and various union PACs, have added millions more.

WATCH: Joe Biden’s Warning for Americans Who Don’t Follow Thanksgiving COVID Demands

Former Vice President Joe Biden issued remarks regarding guidance on Thanksgiving gatherings amid the COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday, suggesting the 2021 holidays could be similar to those of 2020 if guidance is not followed.

In a Tuesday news conference, Biden said, “Let me tell you what the health experts have said to me. They strongly urge that if, in fact, we’re gonna have Thanksgiving with anyone that we limit it to a maximum … 10 people, socially distanced, wearing masks. And people who have quarantined. Jill and I spent this morning like many of you trying to figure out what are we going to do for Thanksgiving. … We’ve narrowed down which family members, and that they were just tested — recently tested within 24 hours.”

Biden said that there should be no more than 10 people per room — and ideally, just five — during Thanksgiving celebrations, and all people in attendance should be masked.

“I would strongly urge for the sake … of your children, your mother, your father, your sisters, your brothers, whoever you get together at Thanksgiving. Think about this: There should be no group more than 10 people in one room … inside the home … and to be masked. It saves lives.

Report: Trump Campaign to File for Recount in ‘Key’ Wisconsin Counties

The Trump campaign is filing for a partial recount of votes in Wisconsin on Wednesday, according to Fox News.

Fox News White House correspondent John Roberts broke the news on Wednesday morning, posting on Twitter that “the [Trump] Campaign will be filing for a recount in the state of Wisconsin today.” Roberts followed up his initial post with another clarifying that the campaign is pushing for a “partial recount in several key counties.”

Outlets called the state’s presidential race for Democratic candidate Joe Biden, who currently leads President Donald Trump by roughly 20,000 votes in the state, according to Fox News. Trump has not yet conceded the race as his campaign continues to pursue litigation over alleged voter fraud and unfair election practices in states such as Pennsylvania and Michigan. . .

So far, Georgia is the only state in which Trump is pursuing legal challenges to initiate a recount. The recount has turned up thousands of previously uncounted votes with the majority favoring Trump and cutting Biden’s lead in the state by hundreds of votes. Proposed Biden Gun Tax Could Top $34 Billion

American gun owners could face tens of billions of dollars in new taxes to keep the guns they already own under Democrat Joe Biden’s gun ban and tax plan.

At least 20 million rifles and 150 million ammunition magazines would be caught up in the sales ban and registration scheme Biden touted on the campaign trail, according to a National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) report. The new taxes would cost Americans more than $34 billion, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.

NSSF told the Washington Free Beacon the sheer number of affected guns and magazines could pose a significant problem for Biden’s gun-control plans.

“I think if [Biden and his team] were smart, they would look at those numbers and get an idea of where America stands on gun ownership and gun rights,” NSSF spokesman Mark Oliva said.

Biden wants to ban new sales of AR-15 rifles and similar firearms as well as any ammunition magazine holding more than 10 rounds—sizes that come standard on most modern rifles and handguns. He would pay some owners to surrender the affected guns they legally own and force everyone else to register the guns under the National Firearms Act. White House Press Secretary Calls Coronavirus Precautions for Thanksgiving ‘Orwellian’

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday described state-level guidance intended to curb the spread of the coronavirus at Thanksgiving as “Orwellian,” contradicting local authorities and arguing that such proposals were un-American.

The remarks from President Donald Trump’s top spokesperson came in an interview on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” after McEnany was asked by co-host Steve Doocy specifically about “suggestions and guidelines” from some governors that residents not gather in large groups when celebrating next Thursday.

“I think a lot of the guidelines you’re seeing are Orwellian,” McEnany said, instead referring to Thanksgiving guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“The American people know how to protect their health. We’ve dealt with Covid for many months,” she continued. “But it’s Orwellian in a place like Oregon to say, ‘If you gather in numbers more than six, we might come to your house and arrest you, and you get 30 days of jail time.’ That’s not the American way. We don’t lose our freedom in this country. A former Army Green Beret pleaded guilty Wednesday to divulging military secrets to Russia.

Peter Rafael Dzibinski Debbins, 45, of Gainesville, Virginia, pleaded guilty to a charge under the federal Espionage Act at a hearing in U.S. District Court in Alexandria. . .

GOP Senator: What Biden ‘Knew’ Is a Potential ‘Extortion Threat’ (VIDEO)

It might, or might not, actually involve an FBI special counsel investigation like what Democrats orchestrated against President Trump with their now-debunked claims of Russia collusion back in 2016, but those reviews of the behavior of Hunter Biden and his father, Joe Biden, are going to continue.

That’s from Senate Republicans, who already have started looking at those suspicious activities.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., the chief of the Homeland Security Committee, has told the Washington Examiner that whatever the result of President Trump’s challenges to faulty vote-counting across the nation, the work will continue. . .

At the time, State Department officials raised concern about an apparent conflict of interest because Burisma was under investigation for corruption. Joe Biden later publicly boasted that he threatened to withhold American aid to Ukraine if the president didn’t fire the country’s top prosecutor, who was investigating Burisma. . .

Explained Johnson, “Both Sen. [Chuck] Grassley [R-Iowa] and I are not going to turn a blind eye to this. I can’t speak for him, but certainly our staffs are continuing to work on this. We’ll continue to gather more information as it becomes available. Crime-Ridden Chicago: 23 People Shot in Just One Day

Twenty-three people were shot Monday in Chicago, marking a violent start to the week and surpassing the gun violence totals of the entire weekend prior.

A 5-year-old boy shot in Roseland and three teenagers were among the day’s victims.

The boy was playing with an iPad on a couch about 7:30 p.m. inside a home in the 200 block of West 115th Street when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots toward the residence, Chicago police said. He was rushed from the home and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was in critical condition.

In Lawndale on the West Side, two teenage girls were among four people who were wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon.

The shooting happened about 4:40 p.m. near Pulaski Road and Lexington Street, Chicago police said. The girls, 16 and 17, were grazed on their legs. They were in good condition and refused medical attention. (Read more from “Crime-Ridden Chicago: 23 People Shot in Just One Day” HERE)

Chinese Journalist Faces Prison Time Over Wuhan COVID Reporting

Chinese authorities indicted a Shanghai-based citizen journalist for allegedly sending “false information” after she reported on the coronavirus outbreak in the city of Wuhan, China, early this year, a prosecution document released on Monday and seen by the Guardian revealed.

According to the indictment sheet, Zhang Zhan, 37, is accused of sending “false information through text, video and other media through the Internet media such as WeChat [Chinese messaging and social media app], Twitter and YouTube.”

“She also accepted interviews from overseas media Free Radio Asia and Epoch Times and maliciously speculated on Wuhan’s Covid-19 [Chinese coronavirus] epidemic,” the document stated.

A former lawyer, Zhang was arrested in May following months of continuous online reporting on Wuhan’s coronavirus outbreak via social media platforms. Her reporting was highly critical of municipal authorities’ handling of the outbreak. Authorities accused Zhang of “picking quarrels and stirring up trouble,” a crime regularly used to jail political dissidents in China. The charge carries a prison sentence of up to five years.
