Disney Employees Among 108 Arrested in Human Trafficking Sting: Police

. . .The six-day undercover operation dubbed “Operation March Sadness 2” began March 8 and resulted in 108 arrests, according to a sheriff’s office news release. Four suspects are Disney employees, the sheriff’s office said

“Xavier Jackson, 27, worked as a lifeguard at the Polynesian Resort for Walt Disney. Judd said Jackson sent inappropriate photos of himself and messages to an undercover detective who pretended to be a 14-year-old girl. He was charged with three counts of transmitting harmful material to a minor and one count of unlawful communication,” CBS News reports.

“The three others, who were allegedly attempting to solicit a prostitute, were identified by Judd as Wilkason Fidele, 24, who worked at the Cosmic Restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Tomorrowland for four years; Shubham Malave, 27, who is on a visa citizenship from India and worked as a software developer for Disney; and Ralph Leese, 45, who spent nearly four years working in IT for Disney,” the report reads. Marvel Denounces Florida’s So-Called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Bill

Marvel Studios is speaking out against Florida’s controversial HB 1557 “Parental Rights In Education Bill,” which critics have dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill despite the measure not including that word in the text.

Marvel’s statement against the bill, which passed the Florida senate Tuesday, echoes what other entertainment corporations including Disney have said publicly about the bill. . .

The bill is being called discriminatory and dangerous, however many critics and even news outlets are misrepresenting the provisions within the text. In reality, HB 1557 bans teachers from discussing topics related to sexual orientation or gender identity with students in elementary school from kindergarten until after third grade. It does not ban students from discussing those topics.

Ron DeSantis has signaled that he supports the bill. (Read more from “Marvel Denounces Florida’s So-Called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Bill” HERE)

Major Company to Cover Travel Expenses for Employees Seeking an Abortion

American multinational investment bank Citigroup Inc., known as Citi, will reportedly cover travel expenses for U.S.-based employees seeking an abortion.

“In response to changes in reproductive healthcare laws in certain states in the U.S., beginning in 2022 we provide travel benefits to facilitate access to adequate resources,” Citi wrote in a filing for its shareholders meetings scheduled April 26.

Axios reported that the policy will cover travel expenses, including airfare and lodging, for staff who travel out-of-state to obtain an abortion. This comes as several states enact laws restricting access to abortion and as the Supreme Court weighs a case that could overturn the precedents set by Roe v. Wade.

‘The move [Citi’s policy] comes after Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) signed legislation last year that banned abortion after six weeks, making it one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the U.S.,” Axios noted. As I covered, Idaho lawmakers passed legislation this week mirroring the law in their state. The bill is headed to Republican Gov. Brad Little’s desk. State Sues School Boards Association for Hiding Details About Biden’s War on Parents

The state of Missouri is asking a circuit court to intervene after the Missouri School Boards Association refused to hand over information about its role in the Biden administration’s “domestic terrorism” smear campaign against concerned parents.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed the lawsuit on Tuesday after the MSBA repeatedly failed to fulfill records requests related to the National School Boards Association’s attempt to solicit federal intervention to silence parents who want to hold school boards accountable.

The lawsuit claims that despite receiving multiple emails from the AG’s office and the public, who were disturbed by the Biden administration’s eagerness to target parents, the MSBA, which is funded largely by tax dollars and staffed by public officials to serve the community, knowingly violated the Missouri Sunshine Law by ignoring or denying these requests.

“Upon information and belief, MSBA has hidden its full knowledge of, and support for, the effort by the Biden Administration and NSBA to investigate parents as ‘domestic terrorists,’” the lawsuit states.

Evidence shows the MSBA executive director did receive correspondence about the effort to shut up community members who disagreed with school boards’ radical leftist agendas but the “quasi-public governmental body” feigned innocence when petitioned by the public. Cancer Breakthrough: New Treatment Shown to ‘Eradicate Cancer in as Little as Six Days’

Bowel cancer is considered to be one of the “most common” cancer types, with 43,000 new cases being recorded in the UK each year. Depending on its exact location, bowel cancer is also called colon or rectal cancer. New research has identified a promising treatment that could help target this condition. . .

Bioengineers have proved they can “eradicate advanced stage” bowel and ovarian cancer in “as little as six days”.

Conducted on mice models, the treatment could be ready for human clinical trials later this year, according to the study. . .

Omid Veiseh, an assistant professor of bioengineering whose lab created the treatment, said: “We just administer once, but the drug factories keep making the dose every day, where it’s needed until the cancer is eliminated.

“Once we determined the correct dose – how many factories we needed – we were able to eradicate tumours in 100 percent of animals with ovarian cancer and in seven of eight animals with colorectal cancer.” (Read more from “Cancer Breakthrough: New Treatment Shown to ‘Eradicate Cancer in as Little as Six Days’” HERE)

Disney CEO: “Basic Human Right” to Indoctrinate Children with Transgenderism, Homosexuality

Disney CEO Bob Chapek issued a rare mea culpa Friday, following two weeks of criticism over the company’s response to Florida’s controversial “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

In full damage-control mode, Chapek said via a memo to staff: “Speaking to you, reading your messages, and meeting with you have helped me better understand how painful our silence was,” he wrote. “It is clear that this is not just an issue about a bill in Florida, but instead yet another challenge to basic human rights.” . . .

At Disney’s annual shareholder meeting Wednesday, Chapek said Disney was opposed to the bill and had been fighting it behind the scenes to no avail. . .

To make matters worse, Chapek’s boss, chairman of Disney General Entertainment Content Peter Rice, told The Hollywood Reporter after the shareholder meeting that “the law is a new and painful iteration of a history of discrimination against an already vulnerable group.”

“Personally, I see this law as a violation of fundamental human rights, and I condemn any attempt to marginalize individuals on the basis of their identity,” he continued. “I appreciate that Bob recognized that we must do more to support the LGBTQ+ community.” (Read more from “Disney CEO: “Basic Human Right” to Indoctrinate Children With Transgenderism, Homosexuality” HERE)

Woman Considering Euthanasia Discovers She’s Been Misdiagnosed

The story of a Canadian mother of three who was considering doctor-assisted suicide is shining a light on one of the fatal flaws of pro-euthanasia laws.

Alex Schadenberg, executive director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition, wrote on his blog that Jennifer Monaghan had been suffering for 17 years with an undiagnosed chronic pain condition and was considering euthanasia under the country’s medical assistance in dying (MAiD) law. However, she changed her mind after finally being correctly diagnosed with a treatable medical condition. She shared her story with Citytv for an upcoming documentary called Veracity: MAiD in Canada. . .

She was in constant pain, but doctors could not figure out why. She began to believe it was in her head and after 17 years, she began to research MAiD to see if she qualified for doctor-assisted suicide. . .

But then, with some hope left, she had one more neurology appointment scheduled when her sleep doctor suggested she try a higher dose of the drug amitriptyline, which is often used to treat narcolepsy. Monaghan met with the neurologist, who saw that she was on this drug. She told him all about her symptoms and he said he knew exactly what was wrong with her.

“Small fiber sensory neuropathy,” said Monaghan. “Basically, my brain is sending signals to different areas of my body, like shocking pain or cold water. It’s my brain reading the signals wrong, [the] pain signals wrong. So my brain thinks there’s all this pain going on, but my brain technically is creating it.” (Read more from “Woman Considering Euthanasia Discovers She’s Been Misdiagnosed” HERE)

Police: Woman Accused of Stabbing Man as Revenge Against US Drone Strike That Killed Iranian Leader

A woman is accused of stabbing a man in the neck on March 5 at a hotel near Las Vegas. The 21-year-old woman said she committed the stabbing as revenge for the 2020 U.S. drone strike that killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, according to police. . .

Nikoubin allegedly met a man on the dating site Plenty of Fish, then lured him to the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Henderson, Nevada. While inside the hotel room, the couple began engaging in sexual activity. Nikoubin put a blindfold on the man, then turned the lights off. Several minutes later, the victim “felt a pain on the side of his neck,” KLAS-TV reported. She reportedly pulled out a knife from her purse and attacked the unsuspecting victim.

The man pushed Nikoubin off of him and then ran out of the 14th-floor hotel room to call the police around 10:30 that night. Nikoubin also ran out of the room, and told a hotel employee that she had just stabbed a man, police said.

Nikoubin allegedly told authorities at the Henderson Police Department that she stabbed the man as revenge for the death of Qassem Soleimani – who was killed during a U.S. Air Force drone strike on Jan. 3, 2020. Soleimani was the leader of Iran’s elite Quds Force.

Texas Judge Halts Child Abuse Investigations of Parents With Transgender Children

A Texas judge issued a temporary freeze Friday of Gov. Greg Abbott’s order for state officials to conduct child abuse investigations into parents who have provided their transgender child or children with gender-affirming care.

Travis County District Judge Amy Clark Meachum, who ordered the injunction after spending the day listening to oral arguments, called Abbott’s directive “unconstitutional” and an overreach of his power as governor. The injunction is part of a legal fight against the Feb. 22 order. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he will appeal the court’s decision.

“Democrat judge tries to halt legal and necessary investigations into those trying to abuse our kids through ‘trans’ surgeries and prescription drugs. I’m appealing. I’ll win this fight to protect our Texas children,” Paxton, a Republican, said in a tweet Friday evening.

Randa Mulanax, a supervisor for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, testified Friday that investigators were pressed to investigate cases even if there was no evidence of child abuse. The disparity between how these cases are handled compared to others is what made Mulanax decide to resign, according to the Texas Tribune, which noted nine such investigations. Russia Says Injured Pregnant Woman Is a Crisis Actor. She’s Actually a Pregnant Blogger.

When Russian forces bombed a maternity clinic in the war-torn Ukrainian city of Mariupol on Wednesday, they first insisted the facility was a Ukrainian military outpost and, as such, a fair target in the two-week-old, senseless war.

But on Thursday, the Russian Embassy in the U.K. sought to take things one step further, tweeting out a photo of woman who has become the poster person of the atrocity—a young, blonde, heavily pregnant woman in maternity pajamas, wrapped in a dirty blanket with blood dripping down her face.

The embassy tried to insinuate that the woman—who has been identified as blogger Marianna Podgurskaya, according to one of the many photographers who took her photo crawling out of the rubble, and whose open Instagram account @gixie_beauty has chronicled her pregnancy—was a crisis actor.

“She actually played roles of both pregnant women on the photos,” the Russian embassy tweeted, going on to say the first photo was taken by Evgeniy Maloletka, a freelance photographer and filmmaker who has been risking his life to chronicle the Russian invasion of Ukraine since the beginning—and whom Russia considers a provocateur.
