State Says High Schoolers Can Graduate Without Knowing Math, Reading

High school students in one state have been relieved, by state officials, of the responsibility to document their understanding of math in order to graduate. . .

The stunning free-for-all has developed in Oregon, where the state Board of Education has decided – unanimously – that a pause on those “controversial” graduation requirements will be extended at least until 2029, according to a report from Oregon Live.

The vote disregarded the wishes of Oregon voters who submitted dozens of public comments asking that the standards be restored.

The requirements originally were lifted as part of the state’s schemes to deal with COVID-19.

State Department of Education officials claimed that documenting proficiency, such as through a standardized test or other ways, “was a harmful hurdle for historically marginalized students, a misuse of state tests and did not translate to meaningful improvements in students’ post high school success,” the report explained. Aaron Rodgers Mocks Anthony Fauci: ‘If Science Is Dr. Fauci, You’re Damn Right I’m Defying Science’

NFL quarterback and Super Bowl Champion Aaron Rodgers continued his seemingly never ending troll of big pharma by mocking Dr. Anthony Fauci as a representative of science.

Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, was on the receiving end of Rodgers’ latest jab at establishment figures.

Speaking on “The Pat McAfee Show,” where Rodgers now routinely provides his most news-worthy quotes, host Pat McAfee declared that Rodgers “defies science” by returning so quickly from an recent achilles injury.

“That’s what they’re saying about you,” McAfee said. “[Commentator] Shannon Sharpe said this morning—” the host continued, until Rodgers interrupted.

“It’s like we learned, if science is Dr. Fauci, you’re damn right I’m defying science,” the quarterback decried.

Washington Post Torn to Shreds for Defending ‘Peeping’ Biological Male Living at Sorority House

The Washington Post penned a 5,000-word defense for a biological male identifying as a female to live with women at a sorority house at the University of Wyoming. The left-leaning media outlet received a barrage of negative responses for attempting to make excuses for the transgender individual – who has been accused of having an erect penis while “peeping” at sorority sisters.

As Blaze News previously reported, Artemis Langford became the first transgender individual to be accepted into the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority in October 2022. Langford was accepted into the sisterhood with a majority vote by KKG members.

However, some Kappa Kappa Gamma members later revealed that they were pressured into accepting Langford into the sorority because they feared being labeled as “homophobic” or “transphobic.”

Magazine Names Dylan Mulvaney ‘Woman of the Year’

A magazine in the United Kingdom and Europe that celebrates LGBTQ issues named trans-identifying male Dylan Mulvaney its “Woman of The Year” at the 2023 annual awards show.

During the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards, which was sponsored by Virgin Atlantic airlines, the host of the awards show proudly announced that the “Woman of the Year” winner was TikTok star Mulvaney.

Mulvaney took the stage and said hello to London before talking about how “honored” he was to be with them.

In his acceptance speech, the social media influencer took a swipe at those who “don’t see me as a woman at all” — and those he labeled “extremist media” who have slammed him — without naming what outlets those were.

Sarah Silverman Slams Socialist Organization After It Blames Israel for Hamas Terrorist Attacks

Sarah Silverman absolutely destroyed the Democratic Socialists of America organization — of which she has been a member — after it blamed Israel for the unprovoked terrorist attacks by Hamas that have killed more than a thousand people.

The 52-year-old actress and comedian blasted the socialist organization on Tuesday in a post on Instagram to her 2 million followers, sharing a screenshot from the DSA National Political Committee that read, “DSA is steadfast in expressing our solidarity with Palestine,” and claimed that the attack was “a direct result of Israel’s apartheid regime — a regime that receives billions in funding from the United States. End the violence. End the Occupation. Free Palestine.”

Silverman responded that she had been a “proud lifetime member” to the organization, but that statement was a bridge too far. She went on to say that the organization has “lost me forever … This is what they felt they needed to post ELEVEN motherf****g HOURS ago.”

12 Year Old Put Into Induced Coma After Vaping

A 12-year-old girl named Sarah Griffin from Belfast, Northern Ireland, was reportedly admitted to intensive care and placed in a medically induced coma after vaping.

Sarah’s mother, Mary Griffin, is speaking out after the terrifying experience to express support for the new vaping awareness campaign by Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke (NICHS). Mary urged others to take heed of her daughter’s ordeal.

“It was a Sunday night, Sarah was getting ready for bed and said she didn’t feel great. She started coughing but because Sarah has asthma, we put that down to the change in weather as that has been a trigger for Sarah’s asthma before,” Mary said, according to NICHS.

“Her cough was no different from any other time and she used her inhaler and nebulizer throughout the Sunday night into Monday morning,” the mother added. “That morning I was taking my other two children to school when Sarah rang and said, ‘Come back mummy, I don’t feel well, I’m afraid’. I got home, gave Sarah her inhaler and nebuliser [sic] again and she seemed to settle.”

“A while later I popped out to the shop quickly and Sarah rang again, this time completely out of breath, barely able to string a sentence together, saying, ‘I need a doctor or to go to hospital.’”

This Activity Could Be Just as Potent as Medication in Relieving Depression, Study Finds

We’ve all heard about the “runner’s high” — but could that exercise-induced euphoria be as effective as antidepressants?

A new study from Vrije University in Amsterdam compared the effects of antidepressants and running on anxiety, depression and overall health during a 16-week period.

The study included 141 patients who had depression and/or anxiety. They were given the option to choose to take SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) antidepressants or to participate in group-based running therapy for a 16-week period, according to a press release from the university. . .

The results of the study, published in the Journal of Affective Disorders and presented at the ECNP Congress in Barcelona this weekend, showed that running and medications offer about the same benefits for mental health.

Disney Blasted With Allegations of Discrimination After Outright Horrendous Treatment of Autistic Man

. . .Meet Bryce, an autistic man with the mindset of a five-year-old who has a love for Disney Princesses. The problem is they allegedly don’t have the same love for him — and as a matter of that, this is a pure example of the real Mickey Mouse & Co. (if the allegations are true, of course).

A TikToker with the username @jahsokattano recently released a viral video highlighting her time as an unofficial Disney Princess cosplayer when she dressed up as characters for parties and events. She also introduced us to Bryce’s story — who said he is beloved by all of her fellow Princesses she works with. . .

While with Snow White, Bryce allegedly wanted to hug the Disney Princess but she apparently declined, with the video showing an awkward back-and-forth between the two before the Snow White performer darted away from Bryce. . .

But Bryce’s worst experience came during his time with Merida, with the Disney character allegedly calling security on him after he was following her through Fantasyland. . .

Bryce saw Merida again later on, approaching her to hand her a gift, but as the video shows, she completely ignored him — and apparently called security on him again.

School District Indoctrinates 5-Year-Olds With Celebration of LGBTQ Values

Starting next week, many children as young as 5 who attend Los Angeles Unified public schools will participate in a weeklong celebration of “National Coming Out Day,” which falls on October 11.

The district issued its “Week of Action Toolkit,” emblazoned with a Black Power Fist over neon rainbow stripes and is nominally optional, although peer pressure will likely prompt elementary school teachers to use its programming. Its version for elementary students contains an “Identity Map activity” that “Prepares students to think critically about identity and intersectionality” as well as suggestions to include “brief biographies of an important LGBTQ+ person or advocate to spotlight.”

Monday will feature transgender YouTuber Jazz Jennings, who allegedly claimed to be a girl at the age of 2, as well as the book “Julian is a Mermaid”; Tuesday will feature Marsha P. Johnson, an “American gay liberation activist and self-identified drag queen” and the book “The Great Big Book of Families”; Wednesday will feature Hollywood’s Elliot Page, formerly star actress Ellen Page and the book “Be Who You Are”; Thursday will feature the WNBA’s Layshia Clarendon, who “came out as transgender and non-binary” in 2020, and Friday will feature Carl Nassib, the first openly gay active player in the NFL, and the book “From the Stars in the Sky to the Fish in the Sea.” (Read more from “School District Indoctrinates 5-Year-Olds With Celebration of LGBTQ Values” HERE)

Halloween Fun Canceled at School District Over ‘Equity and Inclusion’

Halloween festivities have been canceled at a Massachusetts school district this year over “equity and inclusion” concerns — and the move has left some parents angry.

Leaders from Northboro Public Schools sent a letter to parents this week noting that students aren’t allowed to wear costumes to school for Halloween and the traditional parade through the hallways would be canceled, WBZ-TV reported.

School leaders said the changes were made in order to align with the district’s “core values of equity and inclusion,” the station said — although the district didn’t provide details on how the changes will accomplish that objective, WBZ noted.

The station said the Halloween traditions often apply to elementary school students who dress up in costumes and line up and “parade” around the school halls. . .

Instead of costumes and a parade, the district told parents in the letter that students would participate in a “fall-themed spirit day,” WBZ reported, adding that the parade would be looped into parent-teacher organization events outside school hours.
