Mom Sues School That Allegedly Hid Her Daughter’s Gender Identity, Led to Her Trafficking and Sexual Abuse

Michele Blair, the mother of a teenage girl who briefly identified as a boy, is suing the school board, school superintendent and multiple school counselors after her daughter’s school concealed the girl’s gender transition from her.

Sage’s story was the impetus for a Virginia bill that would have required schools to notify parents their child socially transitioned to another gender. “Sage’s Law” would also have prohibited teachers from hiding that transition and would have clarified that “misgendering” does not qualify as child abuse. State Democrats defeated the bill in Feb. 2023.

Sage’s parents were accused of “child abuse” due to concerns that they would “misgender” their teenage daughter.

Sage was repeatedly assaulted and raped as she was allowed to use the boy’s bathroom without her parent’s knowledge, Blair said in her testimony supporting the bill. At the time, Sage was identifying as a boy named “Draco.”

“She’d been jacked up against the wall by a group of boys, she was crying, terrified. I said just stay home, we’ll figure it out,” Michele said during a hearing on Sage’s Law in January. “That was my last conversation with Sage for five months. The night she ran, she went with a young friend she met online. She left a note saying she was scared of what would happen if she stayed.” (Read more from “Mom Sues School That Allegedly Hid Her Daughter’s Gender Identity, Led to Her Trafficking and Sexual Abuse” HERE)

Judge Allows Enforcement of Law Banning Experimental Cross-Sex Treatments for Minors

The Alabama attorney general has scored a win against a group of trans activists suing over a state law banning transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blockers.

The Alabama legislature passed a bill in April 2022 designating sex-change treatments as Class C felonies. Doctors who violated the law could face up to 10 years in prison.

Shortly after Republican Gov. Kay Ivey signed the bill into law, a group of transgender advocates sued the Alabama governor and Attorney General Steve Marshall over the law.

“She has undermined the health and well-being of Alabama children and put doctors like me in the horrifying position of choosing between ignoring the medical needs of our patients or risking being sent to prison,” the lawsuit states, NBC News reported.

A federal judge blocked enforcement of the law in May 2022.

Ohio Right to Life Fires Communications Director After Viral ‘Faith in Christ Alone’ Post

An Ohio pro-life group has dismissed its communications director after a Jewish Republican Congressman whose wife sits on the organization’s board criticized her for tweeting that “there is no hope for any of us outside of having faith in Jesus Christ alone.”

Elizabeth Marbach, the now former communications director of Ohio Right to Life, became the center of national media attention this week after Rep. Max Miller criticized her Tuesday post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Miller, who is Jewish, called the tweet “one of the most bigoted” tweets he had ever seen even though Miller’s sentiment is a mainstream belief of Christianity. Miller’s wife, Emily Moreno Miller, serves as a board member of Ohio Right to Life, a state-level group that educates the public about abortion and advocates for pro-life legislation.

Marbach told The Sentinel in a Thursday statement that she was let go from her position with Ohio Right to Life. Internal communications reviewed by the newspaper suggest that Marbach was given the opportunity to resign or enter a transitional period before dismissal but she declined. . .

“Ohio Right to Life can confirm that Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Marbach is no longer employed at Ohio Right to Life,” Ohio Right to Life CEO Peter Range wrote in a statement. “This decision was not based on any single event as some on social media claim. We appreciate Lizzie’s service and wish her the best in future endeavors.” (Read more from “Ohio Right to Life Fires Communications Director After Viral ‘Faith in Christ Alone’ Post” HERE)

Hospital Suggests Assisted Suicide to Woman in Mental Crisis

A woman suffering a mental health crisis, fearing for her own safety because of suicidal inclinations, has been counseled to consider a government “Medical Assistance in Dying” program, according to a report from the Christian Institute in the United Kingdom.

“That day my goal was to keep myself safe. I was thinking of maybe trying to get myself admitted to hospital because I was in crisis,” Kathrin Mentler recalled about her visit to Vancouver General Hospital, in search of psychiatric help, in the report.

“I live with chronic suicidal thoughts but that doesn’t mean I never feel joy in my life,” she explained.

But she was told by a “clinician” no beds were available and she should expect a long wait to see someone as an outpatient.

Then she was asked, “Have you considered MAiD,” by the clinician, who spoke of her “relief” when another patient struggling with mental issues died.

“That made me feel like my life was worthless or a problem that could be solved if I chose MAiD,” Mentler explained in the report. (Read more from “Hospital Suggests Assisted Suicide to Woman in Mental Crisis” HERE)

Riley Gaines Says TikTok Removed a Video in Which She Never Even Spoke a Single Word

Riley Gaines noted that a video that she posted — in which she never even spoke — has been removed from her TikTok account.

“This video just got removed from my tik tok for violating community guidelines but I literally didn’t say a word,” Gaines noted in a post on X, while retweeting a post that includes the relevant video.

In the video, Gaines can be seen eating cereal while a video plays in which an individual announces their pronouns and then proceeds to rattle off a massive list of bizarre self-descriptions.

“I am a white transmasculine, femme, nonbinary, temporarily mostly able-bodied, neuro-divergent, obsessive compulsive, chronically ill, culturally Jewish, Unitarian Universalist, nonmonogamous, demilowromantic, greydemibisexual, survivor of acute and complex trauma, millenial, and cat parent in mental health recovery,” the person declares in the video.

“Poor cat,” Gaines wrote earlier this month when sharing the video on X.

An Unexpected Link to Miscarriage and Infertility

As exposures to wireless and electronic devices and electromagnetic fields (EMFs) increase, so does the worry about rising infertility and miscarriage rates, leading to questions about a possible connection.

Infertility is increasingly affecting younger people of reproductive age; around 1 in 5 couples struggle with infertility, and miscarriage rates have been increasing by 1 percent every year.

EMFs from wireless and electronic devices can induce oxidative stress within cells sensitive to these environmental signals.

Organs involved in reproduction are vulnerable to damage from EMFs, and animal studies have established a connection. . .

EMFs have been shown to inhibit ovulation and damage ovarian reserves. Certain EMF frequencies have been shown to affect follicular growth, which can impair fertility since follicles are responsible for fertilizing eggs. (Read more from “An Unexpected Link to Miscarriage and Infertility” HERE)

Planned Parenthood Says It Will Have to Shut Down if Texas Wins Lawsuit Demanding Millions

The state of Texas is suing Planned Parenthood, and the organization argued that it may go out of business if the lawsuit is successful.

“This baseless case is an active effort to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers,” said Alexis McGill Johnson, the president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

The lawsuit alleges that Planned Parenthood wrongfully accepted payment from Medicaid during a time when the state was suing to end those funds.

Texas first notified the abortion provider that it would end Medicaid payments in December 2016. The organization sued and got a federal court to agree with it, which allowed it to continue Medicaid. In 2020, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit reversed that ruling, and it was upheld in 2021.

The lawsuit says that Planned Parenthood filed a legal appeal rather than a legislative appeal and argues that all payments accepted by the organization after Feb. 1, 2017, were fraudulent. The Nut That Slays Pesky Pounds, Diabetes and High Cholesterol

. . .A team of researchers from the United States and Mexico applied whole pecans, a pecan polyphenol extract and high-fat diets to mice models to see what impact they might have on the development of metabolic abnormalities.

According to the results, supplementing a high-fat diet with whole pecans or a pecan polyphenol extract:

Reduced fat mass by 44 percent and serum cholesterol by 40 percent;

Enhanced glucose tolerance by 37 percent, prevented the enlargement of pancreatic islet cells;

And increased oxygen consumption by 27 percent!

. . .The researchers also observed anti-inflammatory properties in pecans. The mice fed pecans or pecan polyphenol extract showed a reduction in low-grade inflammation, which can lead to chronic inflammation and subsequent inflammation-related diseases.
