Woman Reportedly Disinvites Conservative Uncle From Her Wedding, Then Is Shocked at the Consequences

. . .A woman’s conservative uncle was allegedly still expected to gift her money despite being uninvited from her wedding.

The brazen bride’s mother wrote to the “Ask Amy” column of the Chicago Tribune after experiencing the consequences of acting as her daughter’s mouthpiece.

The apparently politically progressive bride told her mother that her uncle, known to the daughter as “Uncle Dave,” caused her to “feel unsafe.” She requested her mother not invite Uncle Dave due to their political differences.

The mother explained she thought her daughter and Uncle Dave “always had a good relationship” despite his support of “candidates we all abhor.” Uncle Dave was describe to have “always been very nice,” and the mother was surprised by the sudden animus toward him. She, however, ultimately honored her daughter’s request. . .

“In short: Brides who are too afraid of family members to invite them to a family wedding don’t then get the pleasure of receiving their money,” the columnist responded. (Read more from “Woman Reportedly Disinvites Conservative Uncle From Her Wedding, Then Is Shocked at the Consequences” HERE)

Mystery Deepens: Man Found Alive 8 Years After Vanishing as a Teen Is ‘Nonverbal’ but Still Wearing Dead Brother’s Pendant

A 25-year-old missing Houston man who was found alive after disappearing in 2015 was still wearing his dead brother’s necklace when he was found last week — and is currently nonverbal and recovering in the hospital, his family says.

Rudy Farias, who disappeared in 2015 while walking his dogs, was miraculously found beaten and bruised Thursday by a Good Samaritan who called 911 according to his mother, Janie Santana.

“My son Rudy is receiving the care he needs to overcome his trauma, but at this time, he is nonverbal and not able to communicate with us,” Santana said in a statement to The Post provided by the Texas Center for the Missing.

“We are asking for privacy during this difficult time but will share more details as Rudy continues to heal,” she said, adding the family does not have any additional details about the case or where Farias has been for eight years.

Farias was 17 when he mysteriously disappeared near his family’s home. (Read more from “Mystery Deepens: Man Found Alive 8 Years After Vanishing as a Teen Is ‘Nonverbal’ but Still Wearing Dead Brother’s Pendant” HERE)

A Record-High Share of 40-Year-Olds in the U.S. Have Never Been Married

As of 2021, 25% of 40-year-olds in the United States had never been married. This was a significant increase from 20% in 2010, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data.

Marriage has long been a central institution in the lives of Americans. In 1980, just 6% of 40-year-olds had never been married. But people born from the 1960s onward have been increasingly delaying marriage, and a growing share are forgoing it altogether.

The 2021 data marks a new milestone in that decadeslong trend.

While many unmarried 40-year-olds are living with a romantic partner, most are not. In 2022, 22% of never-married adults ages 40 to 44 were cohabiting. (Read more from “A Record-High Share of 40-Year-Olds in the U.S. Have Never Been Married” HERE)

Gay Couple Wanted Surrogate Mother With Grim Cancer Diagnosis to Abort Their Baby, Demanded ‘Death Certificate’ if Premature Baby Was Born Alive: Report

A disturbing report from the Center for Bioethics and Culture Network suggested that a gay couple in California wanted the surrogate mother carrying their child to abort after the woman was given a grim cancer diagnosis.

According to CBC president and founder Jennifer Lahl, the unnamed woman agreed to carry a child for an unidentified gay couple in California. The woman is a married mother of four who had already volunteered to be a surrogate mother once before and had a good experience, so she decided to try and help again.

This time, the experience went horribly wrong, starting when she was about 24 weeks along. At that point, according to the woman’s aunt, she received a “very very bad” breast cancer diagnosis. The cancer had metastasized so aggressively that those treating her advised her to abort the baby because she needed medicine that was not safe for an unborn child.

The woman refused an abortion and actively sought a hospital which would allow her to deliver the baby early so that she could begin treatment for the cancer. However, California law — which refers to surrogate mothers as “gestational carriers” — considers the “intended parents” the child’s parents and states unequivocally that “the surrogate, and the surrogate’s spouse or partner, is not a parent of, and has no parental rights or duties with respect to, the child or children.”

The gay “intended parents” in this case reportedly wanted the surrogate to abort the baby. They did not want the baby to be born early because the baby would likely require intense medical care and may have continued severe medical needs throughout his or her life. They also did not want anyone else adopting the child, even the surrogate herself, because they did not want their “DNA out there” being raised by someone else. Colonel ‘Forced Out of Army’ After Stating ‘Men Cannot Be Women’

A colonel has claimed he was forced to quit the Army after he was criticized for stating that “men cannot be women”.

Dr Kelvin Wright, 54, had been a Reservist commanding officer with 14 years’ unblemished service, including two tours in Afghanistan, before his “honor was attacked” with a transphobia complaint and an investigation he described as “hellish”.

In May, he shared a post on his private Facebook account from Fair Play for Women, a campaign group that works with governing bodies to preserve women’s sport for those born female, which consisted of a quote from Helen Joyce, a feminist campaigner backed by the author JK Rowling. . .

This prompted a junior officer to warn him that his gender-critical views could be at odds with Ministry of Defense transgender policies, before what Dr Wright calls the Army’s “LGBT champions” allegedly drew up a seven-page dossier about his “substandard behavior” – which he was not allowed to see.

A formal Army investigation was opened in May that could have led to him being formally dismissed or censured under the Major Administrative Action process, through which he has been asked to make a statement. (Read more from “Colonel ‘Forced Out of Army’ After Stating ‘Men Cannot Be Women’ HERE)

Research Shows This Oil Is Linked to Neurological Diseases: Autism, Alzheimer’s Disease, Anxiety, and Depression

A new finding shows that soybean oil affects the brain and other functions of the human body.

Using a mouse model to study the effects of soybean oil, a commonly used vegetable oil, it was revealed in a 2020 UC Riverside research shows that soybean oil not only causes obesity and diabetes, but it may also have an impact on neurological diseases such as autism, Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, and depression.

The study compared mice fed three distinct high-fat diets: soybean oil, soybean oil modified to be low in linoleic acid, and coconut oil, which was originally published in Endocrinology and referenced by Science Daily. . .

A UCR research team concluded in 2015 that the oil induces obesity, diabetes, insulin resistance, and fatty liver in mice, and the same research team discovered in 2017 that when soybean oil is engineered to be low in linoleic acid, it may result in fewer factors contributing to obesity and diabetes.

However, researchers discovered no difference in the effects of modified and unmodified soybean oil on the brain, Science Daily reported. Whichever type of oil had dramatic impacts on the hypothalamus, where a variety of essential processes occur, according to the experts. ‘Barbie’ Actress Pushes Abortion: ‘Extremely Pro-Choice,’ ‘Very Emotional Relationship With Roe v. Wade’

One of the actresses of the upcoming movie Barbie is using the film’s promotional tour to push abortion, saying she is “extremely pro-choice” and has a “very emotional relationship with Roe v. Wade.”

Actress Ana Cruz Kayne, who plays Supreme Court Justice Barbie in the Warner Bros. movie that is set to open July 21, held forth on abortion in an interview with the outlet The Messenger.

“I’m extremely pro-choice,” she said. “And I’ve been given a few opportunities — and as many as I can, I will say yes to — to speak about my personal story with abortion and help other women to come out and speak about their stories and share their experiences.”

She added: “I just think it’s so important to let women know that they’re not alone in these decisions, that they’re not taken lightly, that there’s such a community of women who have these experiences, and it’s important that we share them.” (Read more from “‘Barbie’ Actress Pushes Abortion: ‘Extremely Pro-choice,’ ‘Very Emotional Relationship With Roe v. Landmark Study Shows Suicide, Psychiatric Conditions Much Higher in Transgender People

A new Danish landmark study finds that suicide rates and psychiatric conditions are much higher among trans-identifying people.

Trans-identifying people in Denmark had a suicide death rate 3.5 times higher and a suicide attempt rate 7.7 times higher than people who did not identify as transgender, according to the study, which was published Tuesday in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

There were 92 suicide attempts and 12 suicide deaths among the study’s 3,759 trans-identifying people between 1980 and 2021.

The study analyzed the medical and legal gender change records of nearly seven million people in Denmark, including the nearly 3,800 transgender people, over the last four decades.

Trans-identifying people also tended to die younger overall, whether by suicide or something else, the study found. (Read more from “Landmark Study Shows Suicide, Psychiatric Conditions Much Higher in Transgender People” HERE)

Baby Dies After Mother Allegedly Left Her Home Alone for 10 Days to Travel

A 16-month-old baby girl died in Cleveland, Ohio, after her mother allegedly left her at home for 10 days without making arrangements for the girl’s care, according to the Cleveland Public Records Center.

Public records show police officers and EMS responded to a call on June 16 at 3129 West 97th Street, where they found the little girl, and pronounced her dead.

The child was brought to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office for “further examination and investigation.” The investigation revealed that the baby, Jailyn, “had been left alone and unattended for approximately 10 days and had subsequently died,” according to NBC News.

Officers arrested the girl’s mother, Kristel Candelario, 31, June 17 after she returned from travel to Puerto Rico and Detroit, according to NBC News. She has been charged with murder.

Judge Blocks a State’s First-In-The-Nation Ban on Abortion Pills

On Thursday, a judge blocked Wyoming’s first-in-the-nation law that outlawed abortion pills. The law was scheduled to take effect July 1.

As Townhall recently reported, medication abortion is a two-part regimen. A pregnant woman would take the drug mifepristone to stop an unborn baby from growing. Later on, the woman would take misoprostol, which would expel the unborn baby from her body. This method is used in the first trimester of pregnancy. According to the Guttmacher Institute, this method accounts for the majority of abortions in the United States.

Reportedly, Wyoming passed legislation banning abortion procedures in most cases, as well as restricting the abortion pill, after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Pro-abortion advocated challenged the legislation (via the Associated Press):

Wyoming’s pill ban is being challenged by four women, including two obstetricians, and two nonprofit organizations. One of the groups, Wellspring Health Access, opened as the state’s first full-service abortion clinic in years in April following an arson attack in 2022.

They’re are also suing to stop a near-total ban on abortion enacted in Wyoming in March. Owens has suspended that law, too, and combined the two lawsuits.
