Governor Announces New Abortion Website Attacking Republicans for Being Pro-life

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) announced the launch of a new website designed to take a stab at states who restricted abortion.

The website will feature information about abortion access and reproductive services in the state, in an attempt to make the state even more progressive and abortion-friendly.

It will make the procedure accessible “no matter where they live,” providing information about traveling to California to obtain an abortion in addition to information on “how, where and when” to access abortion in the state.

This comes hours after Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) announced a new legislation for a 15-week national abortion ban.

“Make no mistake–Lindsey Graham’s new national ban on abortion is about controlling women,” Newsom said in response, adding “that’s their agenda. CA’s fighting back.”

State Promotes ‘Gender-Expansive’ Resources for Preschoolers

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is reportedly promoting transgender resources to preschool-aged children and their families.

According to an ABC-affiliated outlet KATU, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) published a guide on its website titled “Resources for Gender Expansive Preschoolers,” which contains videos, websites, articles, and other content promoting being transgender to children.

Reportedly, one of the videos promoted by the DPI comes from the Human Rights Campaign and details the story of a “transgender” first grader in Wisconsin. In the video, the child’s mother says her kid was “going to transition from being a boy to a girl in first grade.”

Another video encourages children to challenge “gender stereotypes” regarding Halloween costumes. The video shows two children, a boy and a girl, going trick-or-treating with their parents. In the end, it is revealed that the young girl dressed up as Batman and the little boy dressed up as Wonder Woman.

Jill Biden Wants ‘All Books’ in Schools After Libraries Exposed Kids to Explicit Content

First Lady Jill Biden told NBC News Tuesday that “all books” should be in schools after libraries exposed students to explicit content.

The first lady said it is un-American to ban books in school libraries amid ongoing debate amongst parents on what content they want their children exposed to.

“All books should be in the library, all books,” she said. “This is America, we don’t ban books.” . . .

“I think with the pandemic, parents saw how hard teachers work and how difficult this job really is,” she said. “And I think if they work together in their school districts and decide what they want with their curriculum.”

Biden made the remarks following backlash school districts received after students were exposed to sexually explicit books, notably Fairfax and Loudoun County, Virginia. A mother complained to the school board of the Fairfax County Public Schools about two books featuring child pornography and pedophilia available for students as young as 12 years old in the library. Supreme Court Dobbs Leaker Could Soon Be Revealed

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorusch said that the person who leaked the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization draft opinion could soon be revealed.

Speaking before a group of lawyers and judges, it was Gorusch’s first public comments since the draft was leaked in June, sparking nationwide outrage that Roe v. Wade would be overturned.

“The chief justice appointed an internal committee to oversee the investigation…that committee has been busy, and we’re looking forward to their report, I hope, soon,” Gorusch said at the 10th Circuit Judicial Conference in Colorado Springs.

‘We Are Suffering’: Harris Unloads on ‘Activist’ Supreme Court — And Casts Doubt on Its ‘Integrity’

Vice President Kamala Harris said that the Supreme Court is an “activist” court after the reversal of Roe v. Wade.

Harris made the comments during an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

“I think this is an activist court,” Harris said. “We had an established right for almost half a century, which is the right of women to make decisions about their own body as an extension of what we have decided to be, the privacy rights to which all people are entitled.”

Harris went on to say that the Supreme Court “took away” the right for women to make decision about their body and added “we are suffering as a nation because of it.”

While previously being “inspired by people like Thurgood Marshall” and others on major Supreme Court cases such as Brown v. Christian Family Adoption Agency Not Required to Offer Services to Unmarried or Same-Sex Couples: Judge

A federal judge ruled Wednesday that a New York-based Christian family services agency won’t have to provide adoption services to unmarried or same-sex couples.

New Hope Family Services — a 60-year-old nonprofit adoption and temporary-foster-placement agency and pregnancy resource center in Syracuse — filed a federal lawsuit against the New York State Office of Children and Family Services in 2018 after officials told the faith-based agency to revise its “discriminatory and impermissible” policy or shut down the adoption program.

U.S. District Court Judge Mae A. D’Agostino in Albany wrote that New Hope succeeded on the merits of its First Amendment claim against the state.

New Hope Family Services Executive Director Kathy Jerman said every child deserves a home with a “loving mother and father who are committed to each other.”

Pro-Life Democrat Says Party Pressured Him to Suspend Campaign for Pro-Abortion Opponent

A Democratic candidate for North Dakota’s only open House seat suspended his campaign on Sunday after pressure from his party to step aside for a pro-abortion candidate.

Mark Haugen, a pro-life Democrat, shared his resignation announcement on Twitter. He told local outlets that he “doesn’t see a viable path forward to winning the race” for North Dakota’s seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. A pro-abortion candidate, former Miss America Cara Mund, recently entered the race last month.

“When the Supreme Court decision came out, that further kind of solidified that there may be some issues here with my candidacy. I’ve been pro-life since the 1990s. I never hid it. I ran for the Legislature in 1996,” Haugen told local outlet KFYR. He added that he received several phone calls from Democrats asking him to consider pulling out of the race, especially after Mund announced her candidacy in recent weeks.

Teacher Sent to Jail After Refusing to Use ‘Gender-Neutral’ Pronouns

Enoch Burke, a school teacher in Ireland, was banned from his school over his refusal to use the pronoun “they” for a student, then arrested for returning Monday, according to the Irish news website RTE.

Wilson’s Hospital School suspended Burke from teaching while he underwent a disciplinary process for refusing to use the preferred pronouns of a student who identifies as transgender, which he said would violate his Christian beliefs, and a court issued an injunction temporarily barring him from teaching, according to RTE. Burke returned to the school anyways, and he was arrested and taken to prison.

“I am a teacher and I don’t want to go to prison,” Burke said, according to the New York Post. “I want to be in my classroom today, that’s where I was this morning when I was arrested … I love my school, with its motto Res Non Verba, ‘Actions not words,’ but I am here today because I said I would not call a boy a girl.”

He was initially suspended Aug. 24, and the court order came down Friday after he continued attending school anyways, according to RTE. He defied the court order blocking him from teaching Monday and told the court that it would violate his conscience to obey it.

Burke said in court that he loves his students and the subjects he teaches and that he didn’t want to go to prison, but he couldn’t violate his conscience by participating in the child’s gender transition process, according to RTE. School Administrator Says Teachers That Don’t ‘Embrace Diversity’ Would Not Be Hired

A New York City charter school administrator was caught on camera saying teachers that don’t “embrace” sexual orientation and “diversity at all levels” would not be hired at his specialized schools.

Todd Soper, a Grade K-4 Assistant Principal at Neighborhood Charter Schools, was secretly recorded by Project Veritas talking about the schools’ onboarding practices in a clip released by the controversial outlet Tuesday.

Soper, filmed drinking a beer at a bar, told a man wearing a hidden camera that any applicant that answered a “Diversity-Equity-Inclusion” question wrong was an “automatic not hire.”

“If they [candidates] say that diversity is about — if they say something that lends itself to be colorblind, which could happen, like, ‘Oh, it’s like, you know, like everyone is equal.’ Those things that are well intentioned statements, but they’re missing the depth of understanding of how the intersections of our identity live out in the world. So, that person wouldn’t get hired,” Soper reportedly said.

Students at NCS’s two locations in Harlem and the South Bronx were also taught to embrace “identities that are based on ethnicity, skin tone and gender,” the administrator unknowingly told the outlet. ‘Doctor Poses for a Picture With the Child She Just Mutilated’: Post From ‘Gender Affirming’ Surgeon With Patient Goes Viral

An image went viral over the weekend of a “gender affirming” plastic surgeon in Florida posing with a patient after so-called top surgery, which involves a double mastectomy on healthy breasts.

Sidhbh Gallagher, a Miami plastic surgeon specializing in gender transitions, captioned the photo on Instagram, “That smile!! 🙌🏼 congratulations!”

CEO of The Babylon Bee, Seth Dillon, posted a screenshot of the post on Twitter, adding, “Doctor poses for a picture with the child she just mutilated.” The patient’s age remains unclear.

Dillon’s post has racked up tens of thousands of retweets, likes, and comments. Dr. Gallagher, for her part, has limited comments via Instagram.
