Republicans Demand Answers From FBI Over Suspected Hunter Biden Computer

Republican lawmakers want answers from the FBI regarding a report that it has been in possession of a laptop that supposedly belonged to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Nineteen House Republicans sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Thursday demanding answers for their role regarding the New York Post’s report that the law enforcement officials possessed the laptop, which contained correspondences between the younger Biden and his contacts overseas, since December 2019. The Biden campaign has denied any wrongdoing.

They raised questions about when the FBI supposedly got a copy of the computer and hard drive, given it was allegedly around the time the House of Representatives impeached President Trump for urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate claims of corruption regarding the Bidens. The Senate ultimately voted not to remove Trump from office.

The computer, which was supposedly left at a computer repair store in Delaware, was handed over to the FBI and included an email that discussed a previously undisclosed possible introduction between Joe Biden and Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma. This email, if accurate, could show the former vice president contradicting claims that he never discussed overseas business with his son. ABC Host Fails to Ask Joe Biden About Bombshell Hunter Biden Emails

ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos failed to ask former Vice President Joe Biden at a town hall Thursday night about new email evidence that his son, Hunter Biden, arranged a meeting with him for an adviser to the corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma in 2015. . .

That led the Wall Street Journal‘s James Freeman to write earlier Thursday:

Many Trump voters who tune in to ABC tonight will be fully expecting the anchor to invite “undecided voters” to ask the former vice president if he thinks the President is being mean to the Biden family. Mr. Stephanopoulos could also dodge the issue by inviting Mr. Biden to share his opinion of the New York Post.

On the other hand, tonight also represents an opportunity for ABC to set itself apart from the raft of media companies, new and old, that have dedicated the last 36 hours to suppressing a damning report about their favorite candidate. Regardless of the particulars of the Post reporting, Hunter Biden’s overseas windfalls have been clear for a while. ABC should hold the former vice president to account for the abuse of his office.

Despite having 90 minutes in which to ask Biden the question, Stephanopoulos never did so, nor did anyone in the audience.

Editor’s note: compare Biden’s love-affair with ex-Clinton staffer Stephanopoulos on ABC to Trump’s incredibly hostile treatment by the NBC moderator HERE.

President Trump Debates Biased Town Hall Moderator, Denounces White Supremacy, Again

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump on Thursday, during a town hall in Miami with NBC News, denounced white supremacy yet again.

Savannah Guthrie, the moderator of the town hall, asked the president why he hesitated to denounce white supremacy in the first presidential debate.

“You always do this,” Trump replied. “You’ve done this to me, everybody … I denounced white supremacy.”

Amid some crosstalk with Guthrie, Trump repeated, “I denounced white supremacy for years, but you always start off with the question.” . . .

“I denounce white supremacy, what’s your next question?” he replied. (Read more from “President Trump Denounces White Supremacy, Again” HERE)

Biased Moderator Loses Debate to Trump

By Dan Gainor. “Today” show anchor Savannah Guthrie was supposed to be the moderator at an event where the president would take questions from citizens in the audience. Instead, she hogged the time and peppered Trump with numerous questions about his personal health that few Americans could answer as specifically as she demanded.

It wasn’t a town hall, it was a debate. Except instead of Trump debating Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, as originally planned, Trump had to debate Guthrie.

And the winner of the debate, hands down, was Trump.

Guthrie harassed Trump about masks and about holding White House events during the coronavirus pandemic. . . . It took 20 minutes into the hour-long event before Guthrie even let the audience chime in. Even once the actual town hall portion of the program got going, Guthrie ripped it back to push her own agenda — talking about Trump’s taxes.

In another confrontation, Guthrie openly told Trump he was wrong … for his opinion.

Editor’s note: compare Trump’s hostile treatment by NBC to Biden’s softball town hall with ex-Clinton staffer Stephanopoulos HERE.

FBI Cited Tweet From DNC Operative’s Sister in Analysis of the Steele Dossier’s Most Explosive Allegation

FBI analysts relied on a tweet from the sister of a DNC operative as part of its analysis into the Steele dossier’s most explosive allegation: that the Kremlin was blackmailing Donald Trump with a videotape of him with prostitutes in Russia.

An FBI spreadsheet declassified last week and released on Monday shows that investigators cited an allegation from author and activist Andrea Chalupa.

Chalupa’s sister, Alexandra Chalupa, was a contractor for the Democratic National Committee through at least June 2016. The two sisters have been staunch critics of President Trump, and have helped push the since-debunked allegation that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to influence the 2016 election.

The spreadsheet, which the FBI provided to two Senate committees, provides the first glimpse inside the FBI’s attempts to prove or disprove allegations in the dossier, which was compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele on behalf of the Clinton campaign and DNC. . .

“An uncorroborated source, journalist and author Andrea Chalupa, was cited in an Australian magazine article dated 1 November 2016 as mentioning Trump having an orgy in Russia,” the FBI analysts wrote in a column labeled “Corroboration/Analyst Notes.” (Read more from “FBI Cited Tweet From DNC Operative’s Sister in Analysis of the Steele Dossier’s Most Explosive Allegation” HERE)

Biden Refuses to Speak to Reporters Following Bombshell Report About Alleged Meeting With Burisma Executive

The Biden campaign called yet another press “lid” Wednesday morning following a bombshell report showing that former Vice President Joe Biden may have lied about meeting with an executive from Ukraine energy firm, Burisma Holdings, in 2015. . .

Feeling the heat, Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates hit back at the report in a statement, saying, “We have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place.”

But a prepared statement from the campaign is not quite the same as a candidate responding to reporter’s questions. Unfortunately, at least for the remainder of the day, press will be unable to get a direct response from Biden himself on the matter.

Daily Mail reporter Nikki Schwab posted part of a press release on Twitter late Wednesday morning, showing that while the Biden campaign had called a lid, the candidate would still be participating in a fundraiser later in the day.

“The Biden campaign has called a lid. Later this afternoon, Biden will participate in a virtual fundraiser. Your pooler will send a report at its conclusion,” the release said. “At 7 p.m., Biden is delivering pre-taped remarks to American Muslims at the Muslims Making Change: National Honors event. Those remarks are open press.”

Man Charged With Firing Handgun Just Before Alleged Kyle Rittenhouse Shootings

A man has admitted being first to open fire at the Kenosha protests in the moments before accused teen gunman Kyle Rittenhouse allegedly shot and killed two people and seriously injured another, according to court documents.

Joshua Ziminski, 35, and his wife “both admitted” to detectives that he “fired off a ‘warning shot’ into the air” during the Aug. 25 protests in Wisconsin, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Post.

Attorneys for Rittenhouse have called the gunshot a “pivotal moment” that left the 17-year-old alleged militia member fearing he had “no way out” as he was chased by protesters with “no way to know who fired that shot.”

On-the-scene reporter Richie McGinniss has also said the sound of the shot was the moment Rittenhouse “went from running away to aiming his weapon” in what the teen’s attorneys insist was self-defense. . .

The 6’5′ Wisconsin native was seen clearly “holding a black handgun” at large groups of people just before the attack, the officers detailed in the complaint. (Read more from “Man Charged With Firing Handgun Just Before Alleged Kyle Rittenhouse Shootings” HERE)

Early Voting Data in Battleground States Shows Trump Outpacing National Polls

The Republican Party is keeping pace in mail-in and early voting in three key swing states despite polls showing early voting should clearly favor Joe Biden.

Data out of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio indicates that registered Republicans are returning ballots at about the same rate as registered Democrats in the battleground states.

In Michigan, just over 1 million ballots have been returned, 40% from registered Democrats, with the same from registered Republicans. In Wisconsin, 40% of the 711,855 returned ballots have been from Democrats, while 38% have come from Republicans. The GOP actually leads in Ohio, with 45% of 475,259 early ballot returns coming from Republicans, compared to 43% from registered Democrats.

The data contradicts national polls showing Biden supporters overwhelmingly plan to vote by mail or early in person. According to a Pew Research poll released Friday, 55% of voters who plan to cast their ballot in person before Election Day support Biden, compared to 40% who support President Trump.

Biden’s lead is even larger among those who plan to or already have voted by mail, with 69% saying they support Biden, compared to just 27% who support Trump. On the other hand, Trump leads those who plan to vote in person on Election Day, 63%-31%. Pew’s findings echo those of an Axios survey last month, which showed similar splits between those that plan to vote early and those that plan to vote on Election Day. EXPOSED: Smoking-Gun Email Reveals How Hunter Biden Introduced Ukrainian Businessman to VP Dad; Twitter Censors Links to Biden Bombshell

By New York Post. Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.

The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer. Twitter Censors Links to New York Post Biden Bombshell

By New York Post. Twitter shut down links to the New York Post’s bombshell story about the Biden family’s business dealings in Ukraine, branding links to the newspaper’s story “unsafe” and claiming the story lacked “authoritative information.” The Masters of the Universe are also citing policies against “hacked materials” for censoring the Post story.

The bombshell Post story indicates that – contrary to his previous denials — Joe Biden allegedly did meet with an adviser to the board of Burisma while he was Vice President, arranged by his son Hunter, who was then working as a lobbyist for the company.

The story made the front page of the Post, which also reveals that the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is investigating emails provided to it by a whistleblower, allegedly between Hunter Biden and executives at Burisma.

Joe Biden has previously said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

But according to emails obtained by the Post, Hunter introduced his father to a Burisma executive less than a year before the then-VP pressured the Ukrainian government into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.

Grandparents With ‘Thin Blue Line’ Flag Targeted in Drive-By Shooting

Two Seattle homeowners with a “Thin Blue Line” flag outside their house were targeted in drive-by shooting on Friday, police confirmed to Fox News.

Surveillance footage obtained by KIRO-TV shows a vehicle firing nine shots at a home in North Seattle before speeding away.

The owners of the home are two grandparents who have reportedly lived in the neighborhood for more than 30 years. The couple told the station they believed they were targeted because of the flag, which is meant to convey support for law enforcement.

The man said “about twice a week” he argued with people who made “derogatory remarks” and told him to take down the flag. . .

“ACAB,” which stands for “All Cops Are Bastards” and “Black Lives Matter” have also been spray-painted outside their home, according to the station. (Read more from “Grandparents With ‘Thin Blue Line’ Flag Targeted in Drive-By Shooting” HERE)

Poll: Support for Barrett Confirmation Turns Into Landslide

As the Senate Judiciary Committee considers Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court, new Morning Consult/Politico polling shows support for her confirmation remains sturdy.

Forty-eight percent of registered voters in the Oct. 9-11 survey said the Senate should vote to confirm Barrett as a Supreme Court justice, up 2 percentage points from 46 percent in a poll one week ago, though inside the surveys’ 2-point margins of error. Thirty-one percent of voters said the Senate should vote down Barrett’s nomination, unchanged from the previous polling.

The level of support for Barrett’s nomination, an increase of 11 points since President Donald Trump announced her nomination on Sept. 26, also compares favorably with public sentiment toward Justice Brett Kavanaugh prior to the first day of his confirmation hearings in September 2018. At that time, 37 percent of voters said the Senate should vote to confirm Kavanaugh to the court, compared with 29 percent who said it should vote to deny his nomination.

At this point in the process, a larger share of Republicans and Democrats are voicing support for Barrett’s nomination than they did for Kavanaugh’s: 77 percent of GOP voters and 27 percent of Democratic voters said Barrett should be confirmed, compared to 67 percent and 15 percent, respectively, who said the same of Kavanaugh ahead of his hearings.
