Christian Daycare Workers Fired for Refusing to Call Little Girl a Boy

Two daycare workers have been fired for refusing to go along with the center’s transgender agenda. Madeline Kirksey, one of the workers who is an author of a Christian book, says her religious liberty rights have been violated. The two were fired after refusing to call a little girl a boy.

The two male parents of a six-year-old little girl told employees at the school to refer to their daughter as a boy, and to call her by a new masculine name. The little girl’s hair had also been cut like a boy’s.

Kirksey told Breitbart Texas in an interview, that the problem was not so much with the transgender issue as it was with telling young children that the little girl was a boy when she was not, and with calling her “John” (not the name given) when that was not her name.

She, and another worker who does not want to be identified, were fired from the Childrens’ Lighthouse Learning Center in Katy, Texas, a city just west of Houston.

The school distributed guidelines to the teachers called “How to Handle Transgender Students.” The printed guidelines were obtained from the internet and can be read at this link. (Read more from “Christian Daycare Workers Fired for Refusing to Call Little Girl a Boy” HERE)

Feds Lose Track of Most Border-Surge Teens After Release

New information from a variety of sources further demonstrates that the Obama administration’s handling of the continuing influx of illegal Central American family and youth border-crossers has been nothing short of a disaster. Government agencies and NGO contractors have lost track of most of the youth who have been released (or escaped) from shelters. Immigration court records show that about half of the “unaccompanied” alien children (UACs) do not appear for immigration court hearings. A recent murder of one UAC in Virginia by three others is a reminder that some of the kids are involved in gangs. And, because we let them, they keep coming; the number of new arrivals spiked again at the end of the summer, with twice as many Central American youth and families arriving in September 2015 as arrived in September 2014.

No single government agency has been given the responsibility for tracking the UAC and family arrivals. As a result, the statistics that have been published by different sources may have slightly different numbers, depending on the time period covered and how they are counted.

In a recent webinar hosted by the Migration Policy Institute, the director of a legal services organization stated that 77,824 UACs had been released into the United States since October 1, 2014 (not counting the approximately 40,000 who arrived in 2012 and 2013). Most are turned over to their parents, but many are released to the custody of a sponsor — sometimes a relative, but often a “friend”, foster family, or group home run by a government contractor.

In July, federal agents arrested a group of farm labor contractors running a smuggling ring for Guatemalan minors who were then put to work in harsh conditions at an Ohio egg farm. Those who come forward as sponsors are rarely screened, and so some UACs have been released to child molesters and abusers.

Others have run away from the temporary shelters or group homes. In October, four Honduran teenagers escaped from a shelter in Tucson, leading local officials to complain about the lack of transparency and oversight. Last year, two Guatemalan teenagers fled a shelter in Illinois and committed a carjacking in California that led to their re-capture. Paul: Rubio and Hillary ‘the Same Person’

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) says that when it comes to foreign policy, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a fellow GOP presidential candidate, and Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton are “the same person.”

“I see her and Rubio as being the same person,” Paul said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “They both want a no-fly zone. They both have supported activity in Libya, the war in Libya that toppled [Libyan prime minister] Gaddafi, an intervention that made us less safe.”

“They both have supported the Iraq War, so, I mean, what’s the difference?” he asked . . .

The Kentucky senator also took a shot at former vice president Dick Cheney, who has been critical of Paul’s foreign policy.

“Yeah, well you know, Dick Cheney has been wrong about most of the foreign policy over the last several decades,” Paul said. “The last time he was right was when he warned the first George Bush that it would be a mistake to topple Hussein because you’d have chaos and instability and you’d destabilize the region, which is exactly what happened after the Iraq War.” (Read more from “Paul: Rubio and Hillary ‘the Same Person'” HERE)

It’s Not Just California: Series of Earthquakes Rattles Oklahoma

Two significant earthquakes and several smaller ones have been reported in Oklahoma Saturday. The USGS said the latest earthquake was at 12:29 p.m. The 4.2 magnitude quake was centered around 7.5 miles northwest of Medford.

Another earthquake woke up many Oklahomans Saturday morning. According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake hit at 5:11:54 a.m., measuring 4.1 and was centered about 9 miles northwest of Medford.

It was followed by five smaller quakes over the next 40 minutes with the strongest measuring 3.1 . . .

Tami Laudett Morse, who lives in northeast Broken Arrow, said “It woke me. I thought someone was walking around upstairs.” (Read more from “It’s Not Just California: Series of Earthquakes Rattles Oklahoma” HERE)

Illegal Aliens Release ‘Bill of Rights’

An immigrant-rights group proposed a “Bill of Rights” for illegal immigrants Thursday, demanding that Americans recognize there are millions already in the country who deserve health care, in-state tuition rates for college and a guarantee of citizenship in the long term.

The list of demands runs 10 items long — the same as the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights — and also calls for an end to arrests and deportations for “all law-abiding undocumented Americans.”

The document was circulated by United We Stay, which is a group of illegal immigrants, first generation Americans and human rights activists pushing for changes to immigration law.

We know we have human rights, even though our very presence is deemed illegal and our existence alien. Now we have our own Bill of Rights and we want it to be the framework for every immigration decision going forward from the local to the national level,” the group said in a statement announcing their demands.

The 10 points include a demand that they be accorded respect; calls for citizenship rights and an immediate deferment of deportations; in-state tuition at public colleges; “wage equality”; medical care; and protection against deportation if illegal immigrants report a crime as a witness. The Truth Behind the Numbers: Foreign-Born Jobs up, American-Born Jobs Unchanged

The Obama administration is gleefully trumpeting the news out today that 271,000 new jobs were created in October and the unemployment rate is relatively low – ticking down to 5%. The problem? All of the decline in joblessness can be attributed to an increase in employment among foreign-born workers relative to their share of the population. In fact, among American-born workers the number of unemployed increased.

As you can see from the first table, the number of foreign-born unemployed in this country decreased by 57,000 – from 1.204 million to 1.147 million.

Meanwhile, the number of unemployed native-born Americans increased by 27,000.

This is why the unemployment rate among native-born Americans remained unchanged in October while the rate among foreign-born workers declined from 4.6% to 4.4%.

Remember, although the foreign-born population is close to an all-time high, immigrants still represents only 13.5% of the population. Relative to the population growth, almost all of the net increase in new jobs over the past decade has benefited immigrants.

You might argue that this represents good news, at least for immigrant families. We certainly want nothing more than upward mobility for immigrants. But according to Pew, their poverty rate is at an all-time high.

In 1970, the poverty rate among immigrants stood at 18%, only slightly higher than the 14% of the native-born population. Now the poverty rate among immigrants has grown to 28% compared to 15% among Native Americans. Concurrently, 87% of illegal immigrant families and 72% of legal immigrant families are on welfare.

Increased poverty and welfare usage among immigrants, yet increased employment? What gives?

This dichotomy is a clear illustration that the influx of low skilled workers, largely from the third world, is doing nothing to grow the economy and create upward mobility for immigrants and natives alike. It is an open borders scam to reduce wages and employ record numbers of immigrants at wages oriented towards the third world instead of the standard of living Americans are used to. Ultimately, the taxpayers have to foot the bill for the lower wages championed by the business community.

This, at its core, is why Milton Friedman warned that you can’t have open borders and a welfare state. (For more from the author of “The Truth Behind the Numbers: Foreign-Born Jobs up, American-Born Jobs Unchanged” please click HERE)

Ben Carson Backs TPP Deal

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said Friday that he supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement negotiated by the White House – aligning himself more with the GOP’s establishment wing than with the social conservatives who have powered his campaign.

Mr. Carson’s backing of the 12-nation Pacific trade deal places him at odds with Donald Trump, his chief rival for support among anti-establishment Republicans. Mr. Carson had expressed skepticism about the TPP, saying in a June interview with the Huffington Post that he would not give President Barack Obama “fast-track” authority to negotiate the deal.

Now, a day after the White House posted the text of the TPP deal online, Mr. Carson’s campaign said Friday that he supports the final product.

Mr. Carson, spokesman Doug Watts said, “believes the agreement does help to level the playing field in key markets and is important to improve our ties to trading partners in Asia as a counterbalance to China’s influence in the region.” Mr. Watts said Mr. Carson is “now inclined to support TPP, with reservations.”

Mr. Carson’s new support for the trade deal comes as the Republican Party’s decades-long support for free trade is splintering. Mr. Trump is leading a wing of anti-trade candidates that includes social conservatives Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who had backed the “fast-track” legislation aimed at expediting TPP approval, backed away from the bill because he said Republicans couldn’t trust Mr. Obama and said approving the deal would open American companies to increased foreign competition and boost illegal immigration. 2 Louisiana Officers Arrested in 6-Year-Old Boy’s Shooting Death

Louisiana police arrested two officers for their involvement in the shooting death of a 6-year-old autistic boy, the head of the state police announced Friday.

The boy was killed and his father was wounded when marshals opened fire on their vehicle in Marksville Tuesday night. Col. Mike Edmonson gave few details about the shooting at a press conference on Friday, but made his disgust clear . . .

The boy was shot and killed and his father, Chris Few, was wounded when officers opened fire on their vehicle as Few was fleeing . . .

State police have been investigating the Tuesday night shooting that raised questions almost from the start. Edmonson said earlier that no weapon was found in the vehicle.

It’s still unclear what triggered the shooting and what led police to pursue Few. The Avoyelles Parish coroner said earlier this week that officers were serving a warrant on Few when he fled. But Edmondson had no information about a warrant. (Read more from “2 Louisiana Officers Arrested in 6-Year-Old Boy’s Shooting Death” HERE)

DEA: Mexican Gangs ‘Remain Greatest Criminal Drug Threat to the United States’

“Mexican transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) remain the greatest criminal drug threat to the United States; no other group can challenge them in the near term,” says the 2015 National Drug Threat Assessment released on Wednesday by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

“These Mexican poly-drug organizations traffic heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana throughout the United States, using established transportation routes and distribution networks,” the report says.

The Mexican TCOs serve primarily as wholesale suppliers, and they work with thousands of local, U.S.-based gangs to distribute the drugs at the retail level.

And these Mexican criminal enterprises may be coming to a neighborhood near you:

“Law enforcement reporting indicates some Mexican trafficking organizations within the United States are relocating from major metropolitan areas to establish bases of operation in suburban or rural areas,” the DEA said. Obama Just Got Bad News Straight From the American People- His Response Will Say It All; Obama Leading Us to War in Syria

By F. Peter Brown. Barack Obama recently announced plans to move up to 50 American special forces troops into Syria to function as advisers to rebels who are fighting ISIS.

However, a recent poll indicates that the American public is becoming more and more displeased with Obama’s Middle East strategy.

According to an Associated Press-GfK poll, more than 6 in 10 Americans now oppose Obama’s handling of ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

One Obama administration official stated in August that ISIS remains “as strong as it was a year ago” when U.S. airstrikes against the group began . . .

Patty Watson, a Democrat from Portland, Oregon took a different view. She said: “I feel concerned that we’re getting pulled into that quagmire that just never seems to end.”

Obama had hoped to disentangle the U.S. from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, but will most likely leave three military conflicts ongoing when he leaves office. (Read more from “Obama Just Got Bad News Straight From the American People- His Response Will Say It All” HERE)

Obama Is Leading Us to War in Syria

By Pat Buchanan. “The United States is being sucked into a new Middle East war,” says The New York Times. And the Times has it exactly right.

Despite repeated pledges not to put “boots on the ground” in Syria, President Obama is inserting 50 U.S. special ops troops into that country, with more to follow.

U.S. A-10 “warthog” attack planes have been moved into Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, close to Syria. Hillary Clinton, who has called for arming Syrian rebels to bring down Bashar Assad, is urging Obama to establish a no-fly zone inside Syria. Citing Clinton and Gen. David Petraeus, John McCain is calling for a no-fly zone and a safe zone in Syria, to be policed by U.S. air power. “How many men, women and children,” McCain asks, “are we willing to watch being slaughtered by the Russians and Bashar al-Assad?”

Yet, if we put U.S. forces onto sovereign Syrian territory, against the will and resistance of that government, that is an act of war.

Would we tolerate Mexican troops in Texas to protect their citizens inside our country? Would we, in the Cold War, have tolerated Russians in Cuba telling us they were establishing a no-fly zone for all U.S. warplanes over the Florida Strait and Florida Keys?
