‘I Hire for Diversity’: Pentagon Nominees Blocked by GOP Senator Are Pushing Left-Wing Initiatives to Reshape Military

Several of the military officers whose promotions are held up due to a senator’s fight with the Pentagon have supported left-wing cultural stances and diversity initiatives, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of social media posts, Pentagon materials and public footage.

Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville has single-handedly blocked numerous officers’ confirmations in protest of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s directive that the military fund out-of-state travel for female troops seeking abortions, initiating a game of chicken between Tuberville and the Pentagon that shows no sign of stopping. Yet several of the candidates in line for promotion have a history of making political statements and backed or spearheaded internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives related to race and sexuality, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of publicly available information.

“Comments by even a handful of the Biden Pentagon’s general officer nominees are instructive as to defense policy, as opposed to mere talking points,” William Thibeau, director of the American Military Project at the Center for the American Way of Life, explained to the DCNF.

“You win on what you focus on. In other words, what the commander talks about typically becomes the focus for the unit writ large,” he said.

For example, Tuberville’s hold applies to Air Force Gen. Charles. Q. Brown, who was recently nominated to replace Gen. Mark Milley as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, according to NBC News. Brown gained notoriety when he made a rare public statement on race in the midst of nationwide rioting and protests following George Floyd’s murder in 2020. Delta Employee Dies After Reportedly Being ‘Ingested’ Into Plane Engine, Officials Say

A Delta Airlines ground crew employee has died after reportedly being ingested into a plane’s engine at a Texas airport Friday night, according to KENS5 News.

“An accident occurred on the ground at San Antonio International Airport (SAT) tonight that resulted in the fatality of an airline ground crew member. We are deeply saddened by this incident and are working with authorities as they begin their investigation. We will share more information as details become available,” officials with the San Antonio International Airport stated, according to KENS5 News

The incident reportedly occurred around 10:25 p.m. when Delta flight 1111, arriving from Los Angeles, was taxiing to the gate with “one engine on,” the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) revealed in a statement, cited by the outlet.

Unifi Aviation, the largest ground handling and aviation services company in North America, confirmed the incident, saying they were “deeply saddened by the loss of our employee at San Antonio International Airport,” according to a statement cited by KENS5 News. National Park Service Evicting 94-Year-Old Artist From Cape Cod Shack He’s Occupied for 77 Years

A group of nine owners of beachfront dune shacks in Provincetown, Massachusetts, are protesting National Park Service plans to move ahead with 10-year leases to new owners.

The shacks were seized by eminent domain in the 1960s, but the occupants then were given leases, some long-term and some from year-to-year.

In an attempt to make the situation more stable, NPS wants to lease out the shacks in 10-year increments and has been giving tours of the buildings, some of which still have the belongings of their occupants inside. Now, current occupants must leave.

Among those affected is Salvatore Del Deo, a 94-year-old artist who has lived in a dune shack given to him by a friend for 77 years. Mr. Del Deo began helping maintain the first iteration of his shack for original owner Jeanne Schnell in 1946, who later willed the structure to Mr. Del Deo and his wife.

In the eyes of the National Park Service, however, the rightful heir of the shack’s lifetime lease was not Mr. Del Deo but Schnell’s daughter Adrienne. The younger Schnell died in 2016, with Mr. Del Deo continuing to pay taxes on the property, and the National Park Service did not learn of her death until recently. Whistleblower: Hunter Biden Deducted Payments to Sex Club, Hookers on His Taxes

President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, allegedly deducted tens of thousands of dollars in payments made to a prostitute and a sex club from his taxes, according to an IRS whistleblower.

An anonymous IRS criminal investigator to the House Ways and Means Committee during a June 1 interview that Biden improperly deducted these expenses on his 2018 tax forms. The whistleblower claimed Biden underreported his total income by unto $500,000, or $267,000 using “the most conservative approach.”

“So he underreported his total income by $267,000, if you are using the most conservative approach, and that is a tax loss of $106,000,” the whistleblower told congress. “So that includes deductions for personal wages and salaries paid, personal travel expenses paid, personal children expenses that he paid, and personal other expenses that he paid.”

ABC, CBS Ignore Bombshell Whistleblower Claims of Hunter Biden’s ‘Preferential Treatment’ From DOJ

ABC’s “World News Tonight” and “CBS Evening News” on Thursday evening ignored the bombshell IRS whistleblower allegations that Hunter Biden received preferential treatment from the Justice Department (DOJ) regarding probes into tax violations.

On Thursday morning, House Republicans released transcripts of two IRS whistleblowers, one of whom provided evidence that Joe Biden was present when Hunter Biden pressured a Chinese business partner to send them millions of dollars, Breitbart News reported.

A second whistleblower also said the DOJ interfered in the effort to investigate Hunter Biden for tax crimes, although Joe Biden’s attorney general recently claimed otherwise.

Four Kids Rescued From Squalid Home Where Dead Trans Woman, Drugs, Sex Toys Found

Four children who were found in a home littered with booze, drugs, sex toys, and the corpse of a trans woman, were hidden away in a cramped back room crying for help, a Boston city councilor said.

City Councilor Erin Murphy told Boston 25 that first responders, who called to the home about a person in cardiac arrest, heard the children “crying for help.” First responders called about a person in cardiac arrest found a trans woman – a man in women’s clothes – who they were unable to revive.

“A lot of drug paraphernalia and sex toys all around and then one of the firefighters said that they heard a cry for help,” Murphy told the outlet. “That there were four children in the back room, and I am hearing that the adults in the apartment were not wanting first responders to go back when they heard kids crying for help, so that is very disturbing to me.”

A Boston Fire Department crew of first responders was dispatched to an apartment in a public housing complex Saturday morning for a call about a man who had gone into cardiac arrest, the Boston Herald reported. An incident report obtained by the Herald showed that the first responders discovered more than a man in a medical crisis. Woke vs. Woke: 3K+ Starbucks Workers to Strike Over Pride Backlash

Employees at approximately 150 Starbucks stores are reportedly gathering to strike Friday regarding an argument over LGBTQQIAAP2s+ Pride decorations.

The workers are from stores across the nation, and the Starbucks Workers United Union claims the company restricted Pride decorations in some of its stores, CNN reported Friday.

However, Starbucks has since denied the claim and said there has been no change to its policies regarding the decorations, per CNBC:

‘Irreversible Infertility’ Listed as Risk of Hormone Therapy on Trans Clinic Waiver

Advocates of so-called “gender affirming care” for children have sought to lower the minimum age for cross-sex hormone therapy, but waivers at a top Virginia clinic require parents to acknowledge a frightening list of potential permanent side effects.

The waivers from the University of Virginia (UVA) Medical Center, obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire, list the potentially harmful side effects of testosterone treatment and puberty blocker usage. The UVA Children’s Hospital Transgender Youth Health clinic offers “transgender youth health services for ages 11 to 25.”

“Testosterone therapy may cause transient infertility due to loss of ovulation or irreversible infertility due to ovarian tissue damage,” one warning from a document titled “Consent For Testosterone Therapy” reads. It goes on to suggest “banking eggs.”

The form also states “I authorize Dr. __________, based upon my child’s treatment goals, to treat me/my child with testosterone for the purpose of gender transition.”

Whistleblower: DOJ Twice Prevented U.S. Attorney From Charging Hunter Biden for Greater Crimes; Joe Biden, Merrick Garland Implicated in IRS Whistleblower Testimony

By Breitbart. House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) told reporters Thursday that the Justice Department twice prevented United States Attorney David Weiss from bringing stronger charges against Hunter Biden.

Upon the committee’s vote to unseal IRS whistleblower evidence of alleged Justice Department political interference in the Hunter Biden tax probe, Smith said IRS whistleblowers allege that President Joe Biden’s DOJ twice prevented charges against Hunter Biden in Washington, DC, and California in 2022.

Attorney General Merrick Garland told Congress in March that he would have to personally authorize any potential charges levied against Hunter Biden by Weiss. Yet Garland also said Wednesday he gave Weiss “full authority to decide the matter as he decided was appropriate.”

On Tuesday, Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to only two federal tax violation charges and one charge of violation of gun laws.

“Testimony shows that U.S. Attorney of Delaware David Weiss tried to bring charges in the District of Columbia around March of 2022 and was denied. Joe Biden, Merrick Garland Implicated in IRS Whistleblower Testimony

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland may face tough questions after Thursday’s release of the testimony of an IRS whistleblower, which was released by the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee.

Republicans released transcripts of two whistleblowers, one of whom said he had seen evidence that Joe Biden was present when his son, Hunter, attempted to pressure a Chinese investor to send them millions of dollars. The whistleblower, IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary A. Shapley Jr., also said that the Department of Justice had interfered in the effort to investigate Hunter Biden for tax crimes — contrary to Garland’s claims. . .

Here are five key questions:

1. Was Joe Biden in the room when Hunter Biden pressured a Chinese investor to send money? Biden has said, numerous times, that he has never discussed his family’s business interests. But Shapley said:

[W]e obtained a July 30th, 2017, WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao, where Hunter Biden wrote: “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

House Sends Biden Impeachment Articles to Committees

The GOP-led House voted on Thursday to send articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden to a pair of committees.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) brought forth articles of impeachment, which accuse Biden of “high crimes and misdemeanors” over his administration’s handling of the U.S.-Mexico border, with a privileged resolution that would force a vote on the House floor, according to Boebert.

Some Republicans voiced opposition to a vote on impeachment in a way that bypassed committees, but House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) came to an agreement with Boebert that would allow the matter to move forward, according to Fox News.

That plan, in which the House Rules Committee referred the resolution to the House Homeland Security and House Judiciary Committees, passed by a 219-208 vote along party lines on Thursday.

“Today, I initiated historic impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden for his unconstitutional dereliction of duty at the southern border,” Boebert said in a tweet. “For the first time in 24 years, House Republicans united to protect the separation of powers and start a formal impeachment inquiry.” (Read more from “House Sends Biden Impeachment Articles to Committees” HERE)
