[As advertised during the Super Bowl,] McDonald’s is gearing up for a new promotion that will have you lovin’ it even more.
From February 2 through Valentine’s Day, participating locations will allow certain customers chosen at random to pay with lovin’ – that includes selfies, highfives, hugs and just about anything else you can think of without crossing any inappropriate lines.
A spokeswoman explained, “We want to thank our customers for making our day and hopefully they will make someone else’s as well – that’s what Lovin’ is all about.”

“We don’t want to do that,” he continued, during an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union. “I mean, we’re not going to do that. Or like asking a Muslim to serve up something that is offensive to him, or to have dogs in his backyard. We’re so sensitive to make sure we don’t offend certain religions, but then we act like Christians can’t have the convictions that they’ve had for 2,000 years.”
The former Arkansas governor made the comments in defense of an excerpt from his new book God, Guns, Grits and Gravy, in which he says he has friends and associates who are gay. Huckabee called homosexuality a “lifestyle” choice, as is drinking alcohol and using profanities. ‘American Sniper’ is breaking countless box-office records. It had the 2nd highest grossing weekend for any R-rated movie, and is sparking debate across America. It’s hard to remember any movie which has been such a cultural phenomenon, and inflamed passions across the political spectrum.
Watch a message from Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, the famous sniper with 160 confirmed kills, as he gives a timely warning about President Barack Obama. He warns us about how deep Obama’s anti-2nd Amendment philosophy is. Isn’t that sad for a constitutional professor to be so opposed to gun rights?
“I don’t know exactly what he’s doing,” Kyle said then, referring to Obama’s efforts to enact gun control according to guns.com, “but I know he’s definitely against the Second Amendment, and he’s trying to ban everything” . . .
“You start putting these bans in effect — you know, these people who don’t know anything about the guns — and they start thinking, ‘Well, who needs 30-round magazines?’” he said. “Really? That’s just opening the door so you can start taking more of our rights.”

Orlando police arrested two men Saturday night, thanks to a father and son who jumped in to save a woman and her family from their armed attackers outside of Monster Jam.
“My wife yelled at me, ‘He’s got a gun,'” said Gary Richie, who recalled making the split decision to step in when no one else could. “It deteriorated really quick when the guns came out.”
Police said two men in a pickup truck took out their guns after a mother confronted them for sideswiping her minivan. The confrontation happened as crowds left the Citrus Bowl after the Monster Jam.
“The driver of the pickup truck starting waving his arm out the window and it appeared he had a handgun. When the passenger got out, he had a shotgun. He pointed it at the van and started walking towards the van. And when he did that, that’s when I rushed him and pinned him against the truck,” said Richie, who was just feet away and watched the argument turned from heated, to violent. Star Parker on Having Four Abortions: I Was Caught Up in the Lies of the Left
By Melanie Hunter. Conservative nationally syndicated columnist Star Parker told pro-life activists at ProLifeCon at the Family Research Council headquarters on Thursday that she had used abortion as birth control and had four abortions, because she “got caught up in the lies of the Left.”
“Prior to receiving Christ, I got caught up in the lies of the Left, including their lie about abortion, and I continued to go in and out of abortion clinic after clinic until it wasn’t after the fourth time that I had a gut instinct way down deep inside that there must be something wrong with killing your offspring,” Parker shared.
“Maybe the country didn’t have it right. Maybe that, that I was hearing was not right,” she thought, “and I then made a decision within myself outside of Christ that I just wasn’t going to do that anymore.”

Photo Credit: The Blaze“American Sniper” is tops at the box office but don’t expect to see former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura lining up at a theater for it.
Jesse Ventura, a former Navy SEAL, won $1.8 million in a defamation lawsuit last year against the estate of the late Chris Kyle, the SEAL protagonist of the movie, which has sparked debate over whether snipers should be considered heroes. Ventura said Wednesday he won’t see the film partly because Kyle is no hero to him.
“A hero must be honorable, must have honor. And you can’t have honor if you’re a liar. There is no honor in lying,” Ventura told The Associated Press from his winter home in Baja California, Mexico. He also noted that the movie isn’t playing there.
Ventura also dismissed the movie as propaganda because it conveys the false idea that Iraq had something to do with the 9/11 attacks. “It’s as authentic as ‘Dirty Harry,’” he said, referring to fictional movie series starring Clint Eastwood, the director of “American Sniper” . . .
Ventura testified Kyle fabricated a subchapter in his “American Sniper” book in which Kyle claimed he punched out a man, whom he later identified as Ventura, at a California bar in 2006 for allegedly saying the SEALs “deserve to lose a few” in Iraq. Major Violation of Privacy: Students Ordered to Drop Pants After Feces Found on Gym Floor
By Jason Wheeler. In Gustine, population 457, what happens at the schoolhouse affects nearly everyone. And something happened Monday that is causing a big controversy in this small town.
“I felt uncomfortable, and I didn’t want to do it,” said 11-year-old Eliza Medina. “I felt like they violated my privacy.”
She was one of about two dozen elementary students who were rounded up in the small town 90 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Eliza’s mother, Maria Medina, said boys were taken to one room, girls to another, and they were ordered “to pull down their pants to check them to see if they could find anything.”
Eliza’s mom explained that educators “have been finding poop on the gym floor.” She can imagine the frustration, but said even for feces on the floor you don’t partially strip search a group of students to find the culprit. (Read more from this story HERE)

More than half a million pro-life people took to the streets of Washington D.C. to solemnly mark 42 years of legalized abortion since the infamous Roe v. Wade decision. But one top abortion activist celebrated the occasion.
While Planned Parenthood normally likes to play down its abortion business, abortion is the sine qua non component of what Planned Parenthood does. In fact, Planned Parenthood has killed more than 1 million babies in abortions in the last three years. That’s why its president’s admission that the abortion business is “proud” to do abortions is newsworthy.
As CNS News reports, “at an invitation-only press conference on Tuesday at the National Press Club, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards told hand-picked reporters that her organization takes pride in the millions of abortions done at its affiliated clinics around the United States”
As it reports, Richards said: “We proudly provide safe and legal abortion.” Here’s video footage of her remarks.

Tom Brady is about to leave Seahawks fans deflated.
So says EA’s annual Super Bowl simulation, at least. If the Xbox One version of Madden NFL 15 is to be believed, the ball-obsessed QB will nab his fourth Super Bowl ring this Sunday when the New England Patriots top the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 to win Super Bowl XLIX.
According to the sim, it’ll be a nailbiter . . .
It’s coming off a bad loss, however. Last year’s Madden NFL 25 predicted the Broncos would beat the Seahawks 31-28, which was just a hair off the actual outcome of 43-8, Seahawks. Only missed it by 38 points, guys . . .
But it’s occasionally been brilliant. In 2013 it correctly picked the winner, point spread, and MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, and was two completions away from perfectly nailing 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick’s stat line. Madden was even more prescient in 2009 when it was one point off from the final score and managed to predict the exact number of receiving yards for Steelers wideout Santonio Holmes.
