Top-Level Citigroup, Credit Suisse Tech Specialist Behind QAnon Website

By Daily Dot. . .Qmap.pub, a site that reposts messages from Q that originally appeared on the imageboard 8kun, was visited millions of times each month by the conspiracy’s most ardent defenders. . .

The entity behind the website was previously known only as “QAppAnon,” but has since been identified as a man from New Jersey.

In a post Thursday from the fact-checking website Logically, a lengthy investigation that includes social media data and financial records appear to indicate that Qmap is run by a man named Jason Gelinas.

“The investigation ties QAnon properties to a company owned by Gelinas, an information technology specialist who has held prominent positions at both Credit Suisse and Citigroup,” Logically reports.

QAnon Website Shuts Down After N.J. Man Identified as Operator

By Bloomberg. A popular website for posts about the conspiracy group QAnon abruptly shut down after a fact-checking group identified the developer as a New Jersey man. . .

Reached outside his home, Gelinas declined to comment on the Logically report, saying only that someone had sent it to him on Twitter after it was published.

“I’m not going to comment on any of that,” Gelinas said when asked if he was behind the website Qmap. “I’m not going to get involved. I want to stay out of it.”

Wearing an American flag baseball cap, Gelinas said that QAnon is a “patriotic movement to save the country.” . . .

For months now, people have been wondering whether all of Biden’s appearances, including the easy ones, are scripted. Now we know the truth.

For the Biden campaign, the Wuhan virus has been a benefit. It’s allowed Biden to conduct his interviews from the safety of his own home. Because there are no public appearances, his campaign can keep secret whether Biden relies on a teleprompter for even friendly, casual interviews. Videos of Biden’s slip-ups suggested that he was using a teleprompter, but the campaign wasn’t talking. Now, though, a sharp-eyed viewer looking at footage of Biden talking to James Corden believes he’s exposed Biden’s secret: Even for friendly, inconsequential interviews, Biden and his interlocutors have a script.

What’s new in the 2020 election, as opposed to 1988 or 2008, is Biden’s cognitive decline. Although his campaign and the mainstream media are denying it, it’s obvious to everyone. Several times, people have suspected that, during allegedly spontaneous question and answer sessions, he’s actually relying on a teleprompter:

The Left Is Setting the Stage for a Coup If Trump Wins

It’s been hard to miss the steady drumbeat of articles and think-pieces over the past few months about Election Day war games and post-election planning underway on the left, rooted in obsessive fears that President Trump will refuse to accept an electoral loss, triggering a constitutional crisis and maybe even widespread civic unrest, all in a desperate attempt to cling to power. . .

Indeed, paranoia and an assumption that any action by the Trump administration to ensure the integrity of the election is tantamount to stealing it pervades our elite class. The Transition Integrity Project’s war games played out various scenarios, utterly divorced from reality, in which team Trump “succeeded in invoking the Insurrection Act and sending active-duty military troops into US cities to ‘restore order,’ ‘protect’ voting places, or confiscate ‘fraudulent’ ballots.” In another scenario, Attorney General Bill Barr ordered “the seizure of mail-in ballots to ensure that vote counting would stop.”

All this tells us much more about the mindset of the people running the simulations than it does about what Barr or Trump are likely to do in November. The left simply cannot imagine an election in which Trump doesn’t win by cheating, hence they’ve decided they will accept only one outcome. Rahna Epting, executive director of MoveOn and a participant in the Fight Back Table discussions, told The Daily Beast, “It is very obvious that Trump is laying the groundwork for claiming victory no matter what.”

This is doublespeak. What should be obvious by now is that a broad coalition of left-wing groups is laying the groundwork to reject the results of the November election if Trump wins and claim victory, no matter what. The same left-wing groups that have been fomenting riots and street violence for months will again mobilize, only this time they won’t be calling for the abolishment of the police but the effective abolishment of popular government—an end to our constitutional system, and with it, an end to the republic. Fans appeared to be unsatisfied after National Football League players locked arms in solidarity for social justice causes.

At the NFL’s kickoff between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans, players from both teams locked arms in unity as part of protests against racism, prompting loud boos from fans. One person is heard yelling, “Trump 2020!”

The moment followed a decision from the Texans to remain in their locker room during both the national anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a song that’s been dubbed the African American anthem. During “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” the Chiefs reportedly locked arms along one end zone. . .

A police chief of a suburban village in Illinois was fired after he posted a meme about looters that many found to be controversial.

Thomas Scully worked as the Orland Hills police chief for 15 years but he was fired on Wednesday over the Facebook post. . .

The meme was a commentary on the recent rioting and looting that resulted from protests over numerous incidents where black people were killed while in police custody or as a result of the actions of police officers.

It read, “Looting. When free housing, free food, free education, and free phones just aren’t enough.”

WATCH: Man Caught Urinating on Trump Yard Sign Got More Than He Bargained For

I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard in several months. The last time it happened was probably during #Fartgate when Eric Swalwell let one rip on live TV and Chris Matthews tried to tell us it was a mug scraping the table. So imagine my delight when I found this average Joe Trump Supporter dealing with “protesters” on his lawn. The weapon of choice in the New Civil War is a paintball gun. . .

The benefits of using a paintball gun to defend your life and property are numerous. Firstly, it’s a non-lethal deterrent and does no lasting damage other than a few welts and bruises. No one can complain they were seriously injured by paintball since people pay money to be hit by these things in entertainment centers nation-wide. Second, the sound they make is like automatic gunfire. You can’t tell what it is when it goes off. It sounds like it could be bullets, thus terrifying the target and stopping any attack that was coming. They are very likely to hit the ground and cry for Mommy or run away screaming. Third, the comedy value is extremely high.

WATCH: The Best Six Second Political Ad… Ever

It’s not every day that politicians release six-second ads. And it’s not every day that people on both sides of the aisle agree with messaging. But that’s what happened with Rep. Max Rose’s (D-NY) re-election ad.

“Bill de Blasio is the worst mayor in the history of New York City,” Rose said. “That’s the whole ad.”

Politicos on both sides of the aisle were in agreement: this was brilliant messaging that most New Yorkers can and do agree with, especially in light of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.

University to Remove World War II Murals Because They Show Too Many White People

The University of Rhode Island recently announced plans to remove two murals depicting World War II veterans because it lacks “diversity and a sensitivity to today’s complex and painful problems,” according to the university.

Kathy Collins, vice president of student affairs, told CBS 12 she received complaints because the two folk-art murals portraying life in the GI Bill era of the 1950s “portray a very homogeneous population” and that most of the people depicted in the murals are “predominantly white.”

Collins also told the CBS news affiliate that some students told the school they “didn’t feel comfortable sitting in that space.” . . .

The public university announced the plans to cover up and replace the murals in the school’s Memorial Union in a September 3 news release. The murals are currently covered up and the school said it wants the paintings replaced before classes start. The student union is currently undergoing renovations.

Country That Refused to Lockdown Now Among World’s Safest From Virus

After widespread criticism for its decision not to implement comprehensive lockdowns or mask requirements, Sweden now has one of the lowest coronavirus infection rates in the world.

“Sweden has gone from being the country with the most infections in Europe to the safest one,” said the country’s senior epidemiologist, Dr. Anders Tegnell, in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, the Gateway Pundit reported.

“What we see now is that the sustainable policy might be slower in getting results, but it will get results eventually,” Tegnell said. “And then we also hope that the result will be more stable.”

The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control last week said Sweden’s infection rate is about 12 cases per million, compared to 18 in Denmark and 14 in Norway.

Former Biden White House Staffer Says Dem Nominee Is Slipping, Has Lost “Mental Acuity”; If Joe Biden Wins, Will COVID Suddenly Disappear?

By The New York Post. Joe Biden’s former White House stenographer said the Democratic presidential nominee has “lost a step” and isn’t as mentally sharp as he was four years ago.

“It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017,” Mike McCormick, who worked with the former vice president from 2011 to 2017, told the Washington Free Beacon. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago.”

“He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking. He’s a different guy,” McCormick said about 77-year-old Biden in the interview published Tuesday.

McCormick, whose book “Joe Biden Unauthorized” chronicles his time in the White House, told the publication that Biden had a talent for clicking with audiences and would often go off-script, something the nominee doesn’t do anymore.

“He’d just make a big joke out of it, and go straight from the hip. And notice, he’s not doing that anymore. He read that [Democratic National Committee speech] verbatim … it’s not Joe Biden anymore,” McCormick said, noting he looks “lost” during interviews now. If Joe Biden Wins, Will the Pandemic Suddenly Disappear?

By The Federalist. Here’s a prediction for the November election: if Joe Biden wins, the coronavirus pandemic will all but disappear overnight.

I know, it sounds crazy. To hear Biden tell it, the pandemic is getting worse all the time, not better, and Americans are increasingly consumed with fear and despair that they and their loved ones will die from the disease or lose their jobs or otherwise have their lives ruined, all because of Trump’s mishandling of the coronavirus. . .

But it’s easy to see why Biden is painting such a dire picture. The worse the pandemic, the longer it lasts, the more pain and suffering it causes, the stronger his case that Trump’s response has been a “failure” and that the president “doesn’t care” about the lives and livelihoods lost on his watch.

If Biden wins, expect all this doom and gloom to dissipate, even if the disease’s trends don’t change all that much. Expect, too, that Democratic governors and mayors will be far more inclined to relax lockdown orders and business closures. Why? Because keeping the country locked down in the name of the pandemic is a way for them to hurt Trump, which is the only thing they really care about.
