Crazy Pentagon Spokesman Says Military Has Sacred Obligation to Kill Babies

National Security Council coordinator John Kirby wants to remind everyone that the Democratic Party is so thoroughly obsessed with letting people kill their unborn children that Democrats view it as an integral part of defense policy.

On Monday, Kirby defended the Department of Defense policy of paying for travel expenses for military members to end the lives of their unborn children. Kirby called funding abortion trips a “foundational sacred obligation” of the military and said that helping kill unborn children is how the military “takes care” of families. “It’s just the right darn thing to do,” he said.

In his three-minute rant, Kirby also drove home the idea that several female service members and the wives of service members said abortion laws in various states would discourage them or their spouses from continuing to serve in the military. “That means we lose talent, important talent, and we’re an all-volunteer force,” he said.

Democrat Rep. Compares Abortion Pills to Headache Medication (VIDEO)

On Monday, a Democratic Representative compared the abortion pill mifepristone to the headache and pain reliever Tylenol, even referring to the abortion pills as a “lifeline” for women.

Representative Cori Bush (D-MO) made the comments during a discussion on “Medication Abortion Access and Republican Efforts to Ban Abortion Nationwide.” Bush was joined by fellow Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, including Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin and Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett.

“Banning medication abortion would be like placing a ban on Tylenol [or] a ban on antibiotics,” Bush said. “There is no scientific, no valid medical reason to do so. It is only political propaganda.”

The Missouri congresswoman claimed the pills were “effective” and “safe” and said they were “no different from any other medication that’s safe and effective.” She said that for 23 years, the Food and Drug Administration approved of the pills, and went on to explain that, in her view, abortion pills are actually a “lifeline.”

“Medication abortion is a lifeline,” she said. “A lifeline for the person working multiple jobs that cannot afford to take a day off work because wages are too low or they don’t have paid sick leave, a lifeline for the mom of two who cannot afford childcare or cannot find affordable childcare.”

White House: ‘Very Difficult to See’ Biden Signing NDAA That Doesn’t Fund DEI, Abortion, Gender Transitions

On Friday’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning,” White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said “It’s very difficult to see” President Joe Biden signing the current National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed by the House due to its restrictions on Pentagon DEI programs and taxpayer funding of gender reassignment treatment and abortion.

Co-host Kate Bolduan asked, “Do you see the President signing a National Defense Authorization Act that limits transgender rights, that rips out diversity training, and does exactly the opposite of what you said the President supports when it comes to access to reproductive rights?”

Kirby answered, “It’s very difficult to see the President supporting legislation that would make it harder for Americans to serve in uniform and to not be able to do so with dignity, to not be able to do so with the proper care that they need, both medical and mental care. It’s very difficult to see that the President would ever, ever sign legislation that would put our troops at greater risk or put our readiness at risk.” (Read more from “White House: ‘Very Difficult to See’ Biden Signing NDAA That Doesn’t Fund DEI, Abortion, Gender Transitions” HERE)

Iowa Passes Special Session Heartbeat Bill Amid Raucous Protests at Capitol

Iowa lawmakers passed a bill on Tuesday banning most abortions when an unborn child’s heartbeat can be detected, usually around six weeks into the pregnancy.

The bill was passed after Republican Governor Kim Reynolds called a special session to address abortion after the Iowa Supreme Court blocked the state’s 2018 Heartbeat Act last month. Reynold’s said she would sign the bill on Friday.

“The Iowa Supreme Court questioned whether this legislature would pass the same law they did in 2018, and today they have a clear answer. The voices of Iowans and their democratically elected representatives cannot be ignored any longer, and justice for the unborn should not be delayed,” she said in a statement.

The bill contains several exceptions, including in cases of rape or incest.

Governor Poised to Sign Bill Allowing Elective Abortions up Until Birth

Maine may soon allow elective abortions up until birth, pending final approval from the state’s governor.

The bill — H.P. 1044, An Act to Improve Maine’s Reproductive Privacy Laws — would allow a woman to receive a late-term abortion at any point if it is determined to be “necessary” by a doctor.

It’s likely the legislation will be codified. Maine Governor Janet Mills, a Democrat, introduced the bill in January alongside legislative leadership, both also Democrats: House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross and Senate President Troy Jackson. At the time, Mills credited the case of Maine woman Dana Peirce as justification for the expanded legalization of abortion.

At eight months pregnant, Peirce wanted to abort her unborn son after he was diagnosed with a genetic mutation called lethal skeletal dysplasia, as reported by the Portland Press Herald. Peirce ultimately traveled to Colorado for an abortion because Maine law prohibits post-viability abortions where the mother’s life or health are not jeopardized. The law does allow elective abortions up to viability, generally recognized at 24 weeks.

Gay Couple Wanted Surrogate Mother With Grim Cancer Diagnosis to Abort Their Baby, Demanded ‘Death Certificate’ if Premature Baby Was Born Alive: Report

A disturbing report from the Center for Bioethics and Culture Network suggested that a gay couple in California wanted the surrogate mother carrying their child to abort after the woman was given a grim cancer diagnosis.

According to CBC president and founder Jennifer Lahl, the unnamed woman agreed to carry a child for an unidentified gay couple in California. The woman is a married mother of four who had already volunteered to be a surrogate mother once before and had a good experience, so she decided to try and help again.

This time, the experience went horribly wrong, starting when she was about 24 weeks along. At that point, according to the woman’s aunt, she received a “very very bad” breast cancer diagnosis. The cancer had metastasized so aggressively that those treating her advised her to abort the baby because she needed medicine that was not safe for an unborn child.

The woman refused an abortion and actively sought a hospital which would allow her to deliver the baby early so that she could begin treatment for the cancer. However, California law — which refers to surrogate mothers as “gestational carriers” — considers the “intended parents” the child’s parents and states unequivocally that “the surrogate, and the surrogate’s spouse or partner, is not a parent of, and has no parental rights or duties with respect to, the child or children.”

The gay “intended parents” in this case reportedly wanted the surrogate to abort the baby. They did not want the baby to be born early because the baby would likely require intense medical care and may have continued severe medical needs throughout his or her life. They also did not want anyone else adopting the child, even the surrogate herself, because they did not want their “DNA out there” being raised by someone else. ‘Barbie’ Actress Pushes Abortion: ‘Extremely Pro-Choice,’ ‘Very Emotional Relationship With Roe v. Wade’

One of the actresses of the upcoming movie Barbie is using the film’s promotional tour to push abortion, saying she is “extremely pro-choice” and has a “very emotional relationship with Roe v. Wade.”

Actress Ana Cruz Kayne, who plays Supreme Court Justice Barbie in the Warner Bros. movie that is set to open July 21, held forth on abortion in an interview with the outlet The Messenger.

“I’m extremely pro-choice,” she said. “And I’ve been given a few opportunities — and as many as I can, I will say yes to — to speak about my personal story with abortion and help other women to come out and speak about their stories and share their experiences.”

She added: “I just think it’s so important to let women know that they’re not alone in these decisions, that they’re not taken lightly, that there’s such a community of women who have these experiences, and it’s important that we share them.” (Read more from “‘Barbie’ Actress Pushes Abortion: ‘Extremely Pro-choice,’ ‘Very Emotional Relationship With Roe v. VP Kamala Harris to Teen Girls: ‘Counting on You’ to Push Abortion Agenda Forward (VIDEO)

Vice President Kamala Harris charged up-and-coming young voters with pushing Democrats’ abortion-on-demand agenda in an exclusive interview with Teen Vogue.

The outlet reported that Harris gave an exclusive interview on the Dobbs anniversary because she “want[s] the readers of Teen Vogue to know that [they] are leaders.” Harris spoke with the outlet via phone after giving a Dobbs anniversary speech in North Carolina on Saturday, where she bemoaned the end of Roe v. Wade and called pro-life Republicans “extremists.”

“You are leaders by virtue of the fact that you are reading this. And I’m counting on you because your voice and your perspective is so important to the future of our country,” Harris continued, ostensibly addressing Teen Vogue‘s target audience: teenagers.

“And one of the significant ways you will express your voice is with your vote, your ability to organize, [and] your ability to remind each other that you are leaders and can help lead the direction of our country.”

Judge Blocks a State’s First-In-The-Nation Ban on Abortion Pills

On Thursday, a judge blocked Wyoming’s first-in-the-nation law that outlawed abortion pills. The law was scheduled to take effect July 1.

As Townhall recently reported, medication abortion is a two-part regimen. A pregnant woman would take the drug mifepristone to stop an unborn baby from growing. Later on, the woman would take misoprostol, which would expel the unborn baby from her body. This method is used in the first trimester of pregnancy. According to the Guttmacher Institute, this method accounts for the majority of abortions in the United States.

Reportedly, Wyoming passed legislation banning abortion procedures in most cases, as well as restricting the abortion pill, after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Pro-abortion advocated challenged the legislation (via the Associated Press):

Wyoming’s pill ban is being challenged by four women, including two obstetricians, and two nonprofit organizations. One of the groups, Wellspring Health Access, opened as the state’s first full-service abortion clinic in years in April following an arson attack in 2022.

They’re are also suing to stop a near-total ban on abortion enacted in Wyoming in March. Owens has suspended that law, too, and combined the two lawsuits.

Woman Accused of Attempting to Murder Another Woman’s Unborn Baby With Abortion Pills

A Florida woman is accused of attempting to murder another woman’s unborn baby, Tampa Bay 10 reported over the weekend, citing law enforcement.

Haley Raborn, 21, allegedly tried to bribe the pregnant woman’s former fiancé in April to slip the pregnant woman abortion pills without her knowledge, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. The woman was 11 weeks pregnant at the time.

“Deputies say the woman reached out to the sheriff’s office after learning about Raborn’s plan from her former fiancé. Raborn had a previous romantic relationship with the fiancé and reached out to him to request that he kill the unborn child by giving the pregnant woman an abortion pill,” according to the report.

Authorities said the ex-fiancé provided law enforcement Snapchat messages between himself and Raborn, which allegedly included premeditated instructions for how to carry out the crime. Raborn allegedly offered to pay the fiancé with a pair of AirPods if he successfully carried out the abortion. The fiancé turned the abortion pills over to law enforcement, the report states.

Detectives also found during their investigation that Raborn allegedly created a fake Facebook account with the pregnant woman’s name and photograph. (Read more from “Woman Accused of Attempting to Murder Another Woman’s Unborn Baby With Abortion Pills” HERE)
