Meteorologist Shuts down Hysterical Climate Claim from Ocasio-Cortez

A prominent research meteorologist shut down claims about the climate from socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) last week after the 29-year-old lawmaker revealed that she did not understand the difference between weather and climate.

Ocasio-Cortez, a climate extremist who has repeatedly insisted that the world will seemingly end in 12 years unless her policies are adopted, claimed that a tornado warning in Washington, D.C., was proof of climate change.

“A tornado watch, issued by the National Weather Service was tweeted 2:47 PM Thursday afternoon for the D.C. area. A watch means conditions are favorable for a particular weather event, while a warning means be prepared to move to a protected area,” HotAir noted. “A warning is issued when a tornado, for example, has been spotted in the sky or radar shows intense low-level rotation. In other words, a person should pay attention to weather conditions and be cautious under a watch but if a warning is issued, that is the time to act.”

“The climate crisis is real y’all,” Ocasio said on Instagram. “Guess we’re at casual tornadoes in growing regions of the country?”

Ryan Maue, who has a Ph.D. in meteorology, quickly fact-checked Ocasio-Cortez, writing on Twitter: “I thought this was fake but it’s from [Ocasio-Cortez’s] Instagram story. No idea what she means with “casual tornadoes” and how this line of severe thunderstorms is proof of any ‘climate crisis.’ It’s just the weather in D.C.”

Poll Reveals That Dems Believe Ocasio-Cortez’s Climate Change ‘Joke’

Remember when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that if we don’t do something about climate change the world will end in 12 years, and then she faulted the GOP for taking her literally and not being able to take a joke? “You’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to think it’s literal,” she tweeted earlier this month.

Well, apparently Democrats can’t take a joke either because according to a Rasmussen poll released today, a staggering 67 percent of Democrats believe Ocasio-Cortez’s climate change warning to be completely legit.

According to the poll, 48 percent of all likely voters agree that the United States has only twelve years left to fight climate change before the effects are irreversible. The poll did not identify Ocasio-Cortez or Bernie Sanders (who still believes the doomsday prediction to be true) while conducting the survey. According to the poll, 40 percent disagree with the prediction, and 11 percent are undecided.

The most fascinating thing about the poll, aside from the large percentage of Democrat sea sponges who believe the 12-year prediction, is how the number of voters who believe it has skyrocketed in just a few months. When Rasmussen first polled on this issue back in January, after Ocasio-Cortez first publicly made her prediction, only 23 percent of voters agreed with it. Ocasio-Cortez Issues Bizarre Judgement on ‘Colonial’ Nature of This Specific Vegetable

By The Blaze. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) bizarrely identified the planting of a specific vegetable in neighborhood communal gardens as a “colonial” act that turns off minorities on environmentalism.

The upstart socialist Democrat outed the cauliflower as the colonial culprit in an Instagram post touting her enlightened preference for woke plants, like Yucca.

“What I love too is growing plants that are culturally familiar to the community. It’s so important,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the post.

“That is such a core component of the Green New Deal is having all of these projects make sense in a cultural context,” she explained, “and it’s an area that we get the most pushback on because people say, ‘Why do you need to do that? AOC: Growing Cauliflower Is ‘Colonial Approach’ to Vegetables

That is such a core component of the Green New Deal is having all of these projects make sense in a cultural context, and it’s an area that we get the most pushback on because people say, ‘Why do you need to do that? That’s too hard,’” Ocasio-Cortez said in another Instagram video of her walking the streets of New York after leaving the community garden.

“But when you really think about it — when someone says that it’s ‘too hard’ to do a green space that grows Yucca instead of, I don’t know, cauliflower or something — what you’re doing is that you’re taking a colonial approach to environmentalism, and that is why a lot of communities of color get resistant to certain environmentalist movements because they come with the colonial lens on them,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Ocasio-Cortez Completely MOCKS Christians in Rant

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) made her disdain for conservative Christians clear this week with multiple attacks she made on social media about people of faith.

Ocasio-Cortez’s attacks were sparked by Alabama outlawing nearly all abortion in the state this week, which led to freshman congresswoman claiming without evidence that “US religious fundamentalists” are trying to “outlaw sex that falls outside their theology.”

“Abortion bans aren’t just about controlling women’s bodies. They’re about controlling women’s sexuality,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted on Wednesday. “Owning women. From limiting birth control to banning comprehensive sex ed, US religious fundamentalists are working hard to outlaw sex that falls outside their theology.”

Ocasio-Cortez continued her attacks on Christianity on Thursday, mocking conservative Christians in a tweet in order to push her political agenda. . .

On Friday, Ocasio-Cortez attacked Republicans’ Christian beliefs, calling them “far-right” and “creepy.”

Ocasio-Cortez Walks Back Her ‘End of World’ Claims – Here’s the Excuse

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed Sunday that people who believe the suggestion that the world will end in 12 years have the intelligence of a “sea sponge,” even though Ocasio-Cortez made that very claim in January.

Ocasio-Cortez suggested that Republicans too often mischaracterize her dry humor and “fact check” her jokes, claiming that they take them too literally. One of her alleged jokes includes a January claim that the world will end in 12 years if we do not address climate change, comparing it to a modern World War II-style struggle.

“Like the ‘world ending in 12 years’ thing, you’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to think it’s literal. But the GOP is basically Dwight from The Office so who knows,” Ocasio-Cortez said:

“I think that the part of it that is generational is that millennials and Gen-Z and all these folks that come after us are looking up and we’re like, ‘The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change,’ and your biggest issue is–your biggest issue is, ‘How are we going to pay for it?’” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And, like, this is the war; this is our World War II.”

Ocasio-Cortez Has a New Target: ‘Moderate’ Joe Biden

Hey Joe, what do ya know? Apparently not much when it comes to fighting against global warming, according to Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The freshman Congresswoman and leader on the socialistic style Green New Deal tweeted her disgust after sources revealed a part of Joe Biden’s plan to combat climate change, saying the Vice President displayed a “lack of leadership” with his potential “middle ground” proposal.

According to Reuters, “[t]he backbone of the policy will likely include the United States re-joining the Paris Climate Agreement and preserving U.S. regulations on emissions and vehicle fuel efficiency that Trump has sought to undo, according to one of the sources, Heather Zichal, who is part of a team advising Biden on climate change. She previously advised President Barack Obama.”

Reuters source also said that “the policy could also be supportive of nuclear energy and fossil fuel options like natural gas and carbon capture technology, which limit emissions from coal plants and other industrial facilities.”

In response, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez said, “This is a dealbreaker. There is no ‘middle ground’ w/ climate denial & delay. Blaming ‘blue collar’ Americans as the main opponents to bold climate policy is gas lobbyist 101.” . . .

Ocasio-Cortez Slammed for Instantly Politicizing Synagogue Shooting

Social media users slammed socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) Saturday after she came out and attacked the Republican-controlled Senate and pushed for gun control immediately in the wake of the horrible white nationalist attack on a synagogue in California, which left one person dead and three others injured.

A 19-year-old terrorist opened fire on people inside the Chabad of Poway synagogue before being shot at by an off duty U.S. Border Patrol agent who is now said to have prevented a significantly worse tragedy from taking place.

Immediately following the tragic attack, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: “Heartbroken to hear of the San Diego synagogue shooting, particularly so on this final day of Passover. We have a responsibility to love + protect our neighbors. The longer the Senate delays holding a vote on #HR8, the more we put Americans at risk.”

Ocasio-Cortez completely ignored the Easter day Islamic terrorist attacks at churches in Sri Lanka that killed hundreds of Christians, but the freshman Dem immediately politicized the terrorist attacks on mosques in New Zealand last month, which suggests that she only appears to weigh in on a tragedy when she can politicize it. Both the synagogue attack (according to early reports) and the New Zealand mosque attacks were carried out by openly white supremacist terrorists armed with guns. The Sri Lankan church attacks were carried out by radical Islamic terrorists armed with suicide vests and car bombs.

The girl, identified by Fox News as Ava Martinez, mocked Ocasio-Cortez’s unrefined linguistic skills, specifically her repeated use of the word “like,” and her $93 trillion Green New Deal.

“Like, I’m Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC and like I want to talk about like, climate change,” Martinez said while wearing glasses and lipstick like Ocasio-Cortez. “Because, like, there’s no doubt cow farts are making the climate change.” . . .

“Like, I also want to talk about socialism because socialism is so amazing,” Martinez continued. “Like, socialism is actually short for social media, did you know that? Like, I do social media so I’m a socialist and, like, three of the most successful countries in the world are socialist too — Venezuela, Facebook, and Twitter are all very successful socialist countries. I have a lot of friends that moved to America from Facebook.”

Ocasio-Cortez Impersonator, 8, Takes on Green New Deal, socialism in Adorable Twitter Video

By Fox News. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., may have a new challenger in the form of an 8-year-old girl whose adorable impression of the progressive has won over hearts and minds on social media.

Ava Martinez poked fun at the freshman congresswoman’s Green New Deal, legislation that calls for a massive overhaul of the nation’s economy and energy use—estimated to cost tens of trillions of dollars. . .

“Like, in July, the climate was 96 degrees and in February the climate was 36 degrees. OMG, like that’s a huge change in the climate in”—the mini-AOC looks down to count her fingers—“only four months!”

Social media users praised the impression as “pure gold,” with some suggesting Martinez would make a “much better Congresswoman.”

Martinez’s stepdad, Salvatore Schachter, told the New York Post that the 8-year-old’s resemblance to Ocasio-Cortez was noted amongst family members and thought that doing a video would be fun. Watch: Psycho Ocasio-Cortez Praises Horrific VA Healthcare

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) made stunning remarks last week at a town hall in New York City, claiming that the broken healthcare system at the Department of Veterans Affairs provides “Cadillac first-class health care” to veterans.

In a video clip flagged by The Washington Free Beacon’s Brent Scher, Ocasio-Cortez praised the VA healthcare system, saying: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

“The idea that this thing that isn’t broken, this thing that provides the highest quality care to our veterans somehow needs to be fixed, optimized, tinkered with until you don’t even recognize it anymore,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “Here’s the thing, they are trying to fix it, but who are they trying to fix it for is the question we’ve got to ask. They’re trying to fix the VA for pharmaceutical companies, they’re trying to fix the VA for insurance corporations, and ultimately they’re trying to fix the VA for a for-profit healthcare industry that does not put people or veterans first.” . . .

The problems with the VA healthcare system have been widely reported on in recent years. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Targeted by Mystery Multimillionaire Donor

By Fox News. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s surging national profile has inspired a trio of Republican opponents from her home district — along with a multimillionaire mystery donor who could help close the gap in her foes’ long-shot race against her.

Just three months after taking office, the Democratic socialist congresswoman’s challengers include an Egyptian American journalist, who has already tossed her hat in the ring, and an NYPD cop-turned-high-school-civics teacher and conservative talk-radio producer, both of whom are seriously exploring a run against her.

And the fledgling challengers could get help from a wealthy New Yorker committed to backing an Ocasio-Cortez opponent, a GOP big said. . .

The Democratic Party Is Cracking Down on Candidates Who Hope to Be the Next Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

By Business Insider. In late February, Lindsey Boylan, a former adviser to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, received a pointed email from a powerful acquaintance.

The sender, a prominent Democratic party donor and activist, told Boylan that her plan to run for the Democratic nomination against incumbent Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York was a lost cause, and that she may have already “seriously impaired” her political future by simply considering the challenge. . .

Nadler is one of at least seven Democratic incumbents in New York alone who will likely face a primary challenge this cycle. One progressive New York consulting firm told INSIDER it’s considering putting together a primary tracker because they’ve been contacted by so many potential candidates.

There will likely be an uptick in Democratic primary challengers across the country after Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley managed to defeat sitting Democrats in New York and Massachusetts last year.
