Biden Admin To Fund Crack Pipe Distribution To Advance ‘Racial Equity’

The Biden administration is set to fund the distribution of crack pipes to drug addicts as part of its plan to advance “racial equity.”

The $30 million grant program, which closed applications Monday and will begin in May, will provide funds to nonprofits and local governments to help make drug use safer for addicts. Included in the grant, which is overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services, are funds for “smoking kits/supplies.” A spokesman for the agency told the Washington Free Beacon that these kits will provide pipes for users to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and “any illicit substance.”

HHS said the kits aim to reduce the risk of infection when smoking substances with glass pipes, which can lead to infections through cuts and sores. Applicants for the grants are prioritized if they treat a majority of “underserved communities,” including African Americans and “LGBTQ+ persons,” as established under President Joe Biden’s executive order on “advancing racial equity.”

Democratic-run cities such as San Francisco and Seattle have distributed smoking kits to residents. Some local governments, however, have in recent years backed away from their smoking kit programs over concerns they enable drug abuse. Louisville, Ky., for example, allowed convenience stores to sell smoking kits but later banned them. Legislators in Maryland ditched their distribution plan after facing backlash from local law enforcement and African-American leaders. Biden Withholds December Border Crossing Numbers

The Biden administration has yet to release December border crossing numbers that Customs and Border Protection has circulated internally for at least 10 days, raising concerns on Capitol Hill that the White House is concealing damaging information about the severity of the border crisis.

On Jan. 14, CBP submitted the December data in a court filing. Those data revealed 178,840 migrant apprehensions in December, an increase from 173,620 in November. A spokeswoman for CBP told the Washington Free Beacon the December numbers are “scheduled to be released soon,” although she did not answer why they were delayed.

Congressional Republicans have criticized the Biden administration’s lack of transparency during one of the largest illegal immigration surges in recent history. They have alleged the delay is nothing more than an effort to conceal the severity of the crisis on the southern border.

“We don’t have the December numbers, and it’s certainly something [CBP] knows. They’re just not releasing them,” Rep. Chip Roy (R., Texas) told the Free Beacon. “We know it’s going to be an absolutely staggering and embarrassing number, and they don’t let the American people know it. If we get power back in 2023, we should have oversight hearings on Day One.”

The failure to release data to the public follows a pattern set by the current White House, breaking with Democratic and Republican predecessors. Border crossing numbers are typically released in the first two weeks of the subsequent month, although November’s were released on Dec. 17, 2021. Federal Judge Blocks Enforcement of Biden’s Federal Employee Vax Mandate

A federal judge in Texas blocked the Biden administration from enforcing its Covid-19 jab mandate for federal employees on Friday.

President Joe Biden first issued an executive order demanding more than 3.5 million federal workers get the shot before Nov. 22. If employees didn’t comply, they could lose their jobs.

In the Friday ruling, Judge Jeffrey Vincent Brown of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas said that until litigation regarding Biden’s federal mandate is decided, the Democrat administration and government cannot force the private medical decision on Americans “with the stroke of a pen and without input from Congress.”

“While vaccines are undoubtedly the best way to avoid serious illness from COVID-19, there is no reason to believe that the public interest cannot be served via less restrictive measures than the mandate, such as masking, social distancing, or part- or full-time remote work,” Brown wrote. “Stopping the spread of COVID-19 will not be achieved by overbroad policies like the federal-worker mandate.” (Read more from “Federal Judge Blocks Enforcement of Biden’s Federal Employee Vax Mandate” HERE)

Woke Economy!!! Biden’s Treasury Adds Counselor to Address Alleged ‘Systemic Racism’

President Joe Biden’s Treasury Department announced it has created a new post to combat alleged racial inequality issues in banking and other financial services industries.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Monday that Janis Bowdler, a former JPMorgan Chase executive is “part of a multi-pronged strategy by the Biden administration to deal with systemic racism found in many parts of the economy,” the Associated Press (AP) reported.

”Treasury must play a central role in ensuring that as our economy recovers from the pandemic, it recovers in a way that addresses the inequalities that existed long before anyone was infected with COVID-19,” Yellen said in a statement.

Evil Biden Administration Pushes Supreme Court to Halt Texas Heartbeat Law

The Biden administration on Monday asked the Supreme Court to block the Texas Heartbeat Act, accusing the state of “nullifying” the constitutional rights of its citizens.

The Texas law, also called S.B. 8, allows private citizens to sue abortion providers if they perform abortions once a fetal heartbeat is detectable. A 5-4 Court in September refused to block implementation of the law, rebuffing an emergency appeal from abortion clinics in Texas. The Justice Department says its claim is different because the federal government has a special duty to stop end-runs around the Constitution.

“The United States has a sovereign interest in ensuring the supremacy of federal law by preventing a state from suspending a constitutional right within its borders,” the government’s emergency appeal reads.

The Biden administration has taken the lead in the legal fight against the Texas Heartbeat Act. Apart from Monday’s emergency appeal, Attorney General Merrick Garland has promised to step up prosecutions under a federal law that forbids injuring, intimidating, or interfering with patients or workers near abortion clinics. And President Joe Biden has promised a “whole-of-government” response to the law.

The Justice Department also suggested the Court should add the Texas case to its regular docket and resolve the case through normal process. Poll Reveals Shocking Amount of American’s Support FBI Targeting Conservative Parents

A plurality of American voters oppose the Biden administration’s move to investigate parents publicly opposing school policies, such as Critical Race Theory (CRT), a Rasmussen Reports survey released Wednesday found.

This month, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced he is directing the FBI to investigate parents opposing radical school policies, such as CRT, in order to combat supposed “threats of violence” against administrators. The move followed example after example of impassioned parents directly confronting school boards over their radical agenda items.

However, a plurality of likely voters disagree with Garland’s move. According to the survey, 47 percent oppose the federal investigation. Of those, 39 percent “strongly” oppose it. Another 44 percent support the decision, and among those, just over a quarter “strongly” support it. WATCH: Tulsi Gabbard Sounds the Alarm on the Biden Administration

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) slammed the Biden administration during a Fox News interview over the weekend, saying that the administration had repeatedly lied to the American people about scandals that are unfolding under its watch.

Gabbard made the remarks during an interview with Jeanine Pirro on Saturday night that focused on the border crisis and other issues that the administration is facing, including the pandemic, the Afghanistan debacle, and schools.

“The faith and trust that the American people need to have in our leaders is dropping every day,” Gabbard said. “The Department of Homeland Security Secretary recently told Congress our borders are secure. This is what he said, this kind of bold-faced lie whether it has to do with domestic issues or foreign policy issues.”

“We’ve seen this with Afghanistan and the tragically botched withdrawal of our troops and Americans out of Afghanistan, when people are being lied to, the American people are being lied to, it is revealing of the arrogance, and the self-serving nature of leaders who are in power in this country,” she continued. “And the disrespect, the disrespect that they have for the American people, and it’s why people are losing faith and trust in those leaders. If we have leaders who respect the people, then the people will respect our leaders. If we have leaders who trust the American people, we will trust our leaders. And that’s the problem here is we don’t have leaders who have that trust and respect and who therefore put themselves ahead of the interests of the people.”

Biden Admin Announces New Restrictions on Immigration Deportations and Arrests

The Biden administration announced new restrictions on immigration enforcement deportations and arrests in what appears to be a concession to open borders advocates.

The new guidelines, published in a memo by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday, order the department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement to limit arrests and deportations to those who pose a threat to security.

“We do not have the resources to apprehend and seek the removal of every one of these noncitizens,” read the memo. “Therefore, we need to exercise our discretion and determine whom to prioritize for immigration enforcement action.”

Mayorkas went on to say that many of the migrants illegally residing in the U.S. add to the economy and their communities.

“In exercising our discretion, we are guided by the fact that the majority of undocumented noncitizens who could be subject to removal have been contributing members of our communities for years,” he added. “They include individuals who work on the frontlines in the battle against COVID, lead our congregations of faith, teach our children, do back-breaking farm work to help deliver food to our table, and contribute in many other meaningful ways.” (Read more from “Biden Admin Announces New Restrictions on Immigration Deportations and Arrests” HERE)

Mike Pompeo: US Military Was Under ‘Political Pressure’ To Carry Out Failed Drone Strike

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo ripped President Biden for the drone attack that killed 10 civilians, including seven children, in Afghanistan, saying military officials bowed to “political pressure” and carried out the strike in a “rush.”

Pompeo called the killing of aid worker Zemari Ahmadi and members of his family on Aug. 29 a “tragedy” and offered his “apologies.”

But he said the drone strike was mishandled by the administration the same way it bungled the US military withdrawal and allowed the Taliban to return to power.

“This is just another example. It looks like they were in a rush. They were in a hurry. You could see the political pressure. And if there was one thing that drove this failed evacuation was the arbitrary political deadline that President Biden set, the arbitrary cap on the number of troops could be there, so we could secure American departure and the departure of our equipment​,” he said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”​

GOP Lawmaker: More Americans Stranded in Afghanistan Than Biden’s Admitting

At least 200 Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan, double the Biden administration’s public claim of around 100, according to Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R., Calif.) office.

Issa’s office has to date communicated with 68 GOP offices, barely a third of the total caucus, and told the Washington Free Beacon it is aware of at least 201 Americans seeking to return home. Issa’s team worked over the past weeks to free more than 35 individuals from Afghanistan, and says that it is in contact with “several more.” Issa’s office believes there are far more than 200 still waiting to be rescued.

The information collected by the lawmaker’s office is leading them to conclude that Secretary of State Antony Blinken and senior Biden administration officials are “lowballing” the total number of Americans trapped in Afghanistan after the botched withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country. Blinken testified before Congress earlier this week that he is aware of around 100 Americans who are in contact with the State Department about returning home—a number the administration has repeated for the past weeks.

“This is the number nobody in the White House wants you to know,” Issa told the Free Beacon. “State has been intentionally vague, even though they have more information than anyone. That’s why we’re making sure the truth is told. The coverup is over.”

Issa and his team disclosed difficulties in dealing with the State Department as they try to free Californians from Afghanistan. Administration officials are said to be overwhelmed by calls and emails from congressional offices on both sides of the aisle that are trying to bring Americans home.
