In September 2022, we argued that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “Arsenals of Evil” — North Korea and Iran — couldn’t help the Kremlin retrieve its faltering position in Ukraine. . .

The two rogue states, each as anti-American as it gets, are providing Putin with drones, artillery and cruise missiles to defeat the United States and our NATO allies in Ukraine, all while pursuing their nuclear weapons programs unabated.

To underscore the extent to which America has fallen behind, Gen. Michael E. Kurilla, head of US Central Command, testified before Congress that “the Russians are firing five times as many artillery shells as the Ukrainians.” . . .

Russia is outproducing the US and NATO — churning out 250,000 artillery munitions per month, while NATO’s artillery coalition, led by France and the Czech Republic, is forced to scrounge on the open market to secure a one-time purchase of 800,000 rounds. Not an April Fools Joke’: Biden Admin Unveils ‘X’ as Third Gender Identity for Immigrants

An agency under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of the Biden administration announced on Monday a third gender option, “X,” defined as “Another Gender Identity” for immigrants seeking U.S. citizenship.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said in a post on its website that the option will appear on the revised N-400 application for naturalization.

The agency also noted that it is updating its policy manual “accordingly to account for this form revision and other forthcoming revisions that will add a third gender option.”

Applicants who have a pending form were advised they may request to update their gender.

“For all other forms, individuals must wait until USCIS revises those forms to include the X gender option,” the post added.

WH Responds to Illegal Alien Invasion by Blaming Trump

The Biden administration has responded to the viral video showing a large group of illegal immigrants charging Texas National Guard troops at the U.S. southern border on Thursday, telling The Daily Caller that former President Donald Trump is to blame for the “chaos.”

Video captured by The New York Post showed dozens of migrants overrunning National Guard troops who were stationed at the border in El Paso, Texas. The Post reported that around 600 migrants were illegally trying to enter the U.S. when the group of what appeared to be all men broke through razor wire and began shoving the soldiers. . .

“When the former President told Congressional Republicans to block the bipartisan border security agreement – he said to blame him for it. Well he got his wish, and the result was chaos after Governor Abbott’s Operational Lone Star and razorwire were overrun yesterday,” the statement added. “While we cannot comment on individual cases, anyone who does not have a legal basis to remain in the United States is promptly removed.”

Last month, House Republicans rejected a bill pushed by President Joe Biden and approved by the Senate that aimed to address certain border security issues. The Republicans’ rejection of the legislation came after Trump said “Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat” would vote for the bill. Biden Administration’s Paperwork Failure Results in Dismissal of 200,000 Deportation Cases

The Biden administration failed to file court papers in hundreds of thousands of deportation cases, which were as a result tossed by judges.

The Department of Homeland Security enforces immigration laws by issuing a Notice to Appear (NTA) to each illegal immigrant and filing it in court. But in approximately 200,000 cases in which NTAs were issued to aliens at the border, triggering the creation of a court date, DHS never filed the actual paper with the court, according to new data obtained by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, an academic group better known as TRAC.

In immigration courts in Houston, Texas, and Miami, Florida, both immigration hotbeds, more than half of their deportation cases have been dismissed for that reason since fiscal year 2021.

“These large numbers of dismissals and what then happens raise serious concerns,” the nonpartisan group, affiliated with Syracuse University, said in its report. The percentage of immigration cases that were dismissed skyrocketed immediately upon President Joe Biden taking office, rising from 0.1% in 2017 and 1.2% in 2019 to 10.6% in 2021. Poll Reveals American’s Top Worry: Border Invasion

A recent Gallup poll has unveiled a notable spike in concerns among Americans regarding illegal immigration, with a record-high 55 percent considering it a “critical threat” to the nation’s vital interests. The survey, conducted from February 1-20 and encompassing more than 1,000 participants, sheds light on the public’s growing apprehensions over the issue.

The poll indicates an 8 percentage point increase from the previous year, with more than half of U.S. respondents expressing heightened concerns about the impact of “large numbers of immigrants entering the United States illegally.” This surpasses the highest recorded percentage of 50 percent in 2004.

Immigration has now taken the forefront as the most commonly cited problem, with 28 percent of participants naming it as the most important issue facing the U.S. This represents a notable shift from the prior month when only 20 percent expressed similar sentiments.

Gallup’s findings showcase a historic low in congressional job approval, plummeting to 12 percent. This dissatisfaction is further compounded by concerns over the government’s handling of immigration issues.

President Joe Biden’s approval rating on immigration has hit a personal low at 28 percent. Additional polls from CBS and Harvard CAPS/Harris also underscore declining approval for the administration’s approach to border security.

The poll coincided with the setback of a controversial border “reform” bill in the U.S. Senate, facing criticism for its perceived ulterior motives and failing to secure broad support.

A notable development amidst rising immigration concerns is the support of half of the nation’s governors for Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s initiatives to counter the surge of illegal immigrants. The Biden administration has faced backlash for its response to the border situation.

President Biden, grappling with declining poll numbers, reportedly placed responsibility on governors during a meeting, asserting that his hands are tied in addressing the border crisis.

Ira Mehlman, media director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), criticized Biden’s response, contending that the president had the authority to address security concerns at the southwest border from the moment he assumed office.

Don’t Be Fooled: This Bill Is Mostly Ukraine Aid

The U.S. military needs to husband its resources so that it has the ability to protect America’s core national security interests. Because of the unparalleled extent of the challenge posed by China, U.S. defense spending must be focused on the Indo-Pacific.

The National Defense Strategy identifies China as the primary threat to U.S. national security interests. This makes sense, given that China boasts an economy second only to our own, has engaged in a massive military buildup, and is laser-focused on displacing the United States as the preeminent power in the Indo-Pacific.

And yet, President Joe Biden’s latest supplemental budget request to Congress contains $60.6 billion in aid to Ukraine and only $5 billion in American shipbuilding and security assistance to allies in the Indo-Pacific. . .

But this bill isn’t primarily intended to strengthen the U.S. military. Quite the contrary, over the short term, it would deplete U.S. military stores. Fundamentally, this bill is intended to give more military and financial aid to Ukraine in its war with Russia.

The bill contains a $7.8 billion increase in Presidential Drawdown Authority, which enables the president to pull equipment and munitions out of existing U.S. military warehouses and units and send them abroad. As of December, the Biden administration has used this authority 44 times to take defense materiel out of U.S. stockpiles and transfer them to the government of Ukraine. White House Staffers Say Biden’s Drug Czar Is a ‘Prima Donna’ Who Has Created a ‘Toxic’ Work Environment: Report

The director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy has been described by subordinates as a “prima donna” who created dysfunction within the small group of public servants tasked with addressing the US addiction and overdose epidemic, according to a report.

Several current and former ONDCP officials told Politico Friday that they blame the office’s director, Dr. Rahul Gupta, for fostering a “toxic” work environment that has led to high staff turnover and important deadlines being missed because of the director’s focus on his “political aspirations” rather than the actual job he was hired to do.

“When everybody leaves, it can’t be ‘everybody is the problem,’” one former ONDCP official told the outlet, which notes that at least eight top officials and several other staffers have resigned in recent months largely because of Gupta.

“On some level, you might be the problem,” the former official added, referring to Gupta.

Gupta has pressured staffers to raise his public profile throughout his tenure, according to the report, and fumes when his travel arrangements are not to his liking. Americans Demand Border Wall Amid Fears of a Potential ‘Civil War’ Over Biden’s Insane Policies

A significant number of Americans are expressing a demand for the completion of the border wall to protect the United States from the surge of illegal aliens, with concerns escalating about the Biden administration’s lawless border policies, which are allowing in concerning amounts of dangerous criminals. According to a recent poll conducted by I&I/TIPP, almost 60% of respondents are in favor of finishing the border wall initiated by former President Trump.

The survey revealed that 59% of respondents, comprising both Republicans and Democrats, support the construction of a wall along the southern border, despite Biden’s stance against its construction. Unsurprisingly, among GOP supporters, the figure rose to a substantial 85%. Remarkably, even 43% of Democrats aligned with President Joe Biden expressed support for the completion of the border wall.

The reasons behind the overwhelming support for the border wall are rooted in concerns over the perceived crisis sparked by the Biden administration’s immigration policies. The poll suggested that voters fear the ongoing situation could escalate into a “civil war,” with the issue of illegal immigration becoming a crucial make-or-break matter for many Americans.

The survey revealed that 49% of voters are worried about the potential for open conflict over illegal immigration, while 38% expressed less concern. Strikingly, the apprehension regarding a “civil war” scenario appears to be a shared sentiment across party lines, with Democrats expressing similar levels of concern as Republicans.

Fortunately, 14 Republican governors, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, have united in their commitment to securing borders and exercising their right to self-defense.

Governor Abbott, engaged in a legal battle with the Biden administration over immigration policies, stressed the need for collective action. He asserted that states must join forces to counteract the challenges posed by an open border, emphasizing that it is a shared responsibility. His call to action is effective considering numerous states have pledged national guard assistance to help secure the border.

Mayorkas Impeachment Articles Headed for Floor Vote After Rules Committee Votes to Advance

The House Rules Committee approved both articles of impeachment Republican lawmakers filed against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, teeing up a historic House floor vote that could happen as soon as Tuesday.

The passage through the committee marked the final hurdle that the House GOP had to clear to reach a floor vote following a year of hearings that targeted Mayorkas’s handling of the border crisis.

“I take no pleasure in our actions today, but Secretary Mayorkas’s actions — both in his intentional refusal to enforce all laws and abandoning the confidence of Americans — require us to act,” said House Rules Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK). “Secretary Mayorkas has refused to uphold his oath of office. If he will not do so — his duty — then unfortunately the House must do its constitutional duty.”

The 12-member panel voted along party lines 8-4 on H.R. 863 after four hours of debate. The articles charge Mayorkas with willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law and a breach of the public trust.

“[Mayorkas] knows what the laws are, and he has created systems to subvert those laws,” House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) testified before the rules panel Monday afternoon, referencing the Biden administration’s expanded parole programs for immigrants.
