Census Data Shows Mass Exodus From Democrat-Run Cities to Red States

Counties overlapping Democrat-run cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York top the list of locales that have been losing population, while the biggest inflows of people have been to Arizona, Texas, and Florida, according to census data.

A Press Release by the United States Census Bureau revealed that the top county in terms of population loss was Los Angeles County, which lost 90,704 people over a one-year period from 2021 to 2022. . .

Cook County Illinois, home to the city of Chicago, lost 68,314 people during the same period.

In New York, Queens County lost 50,112 people, Kings County lost 46,970 people, and Bronx County lost 41,143 people between 2021 and 2022. . .

The counties that had the largest inflows of new residents were Maricopa County, Arizona, which includes Phoenix, and Harris County, Texas, which has Houston as its county seat. Indeed, six of the ten counties that experienced the largest population gains were located in the Lone Star State, with Harris and five other counties experiencing an influx of 209,182 people in aggregate. Black Chicagoans: Migrants Should Be With ‘Their People’ Instead of Our Neighborhood (VIDEO)

Chicagoans in the Woodlawn neighborhood continue to voice their opposition to the city’s plan to place a migrant shelter at a closed school amid the historic crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, going as far as to say migrants should be sent to Latino-majority neighborhoods.

One resident said at a protest on Thursday the migrants, who most assuredly will be from South America, should be sent to the Little Village neighborhood, a mostly Mexican area.

“I am here because I am a child of Woodlawn. I was born and raised in Woodlawn. And I am speaking on behalf of the people that are here and the ones that’s not here…We are very disappointed in this decision that Mayor Lightfoot has made to place these migrants in our community without our permission,” one woman told reporters.

“Please withdraw your decision to put the migrants in our community. There’s plenty of room in Little Village for their people. Please, speak to Little Village and take them over there. Video: Man Tries to Buy 5-Year-Old Girl From Mother on Chicago Street, Then Attempts to Kidnap Her

Chicago police are asking for the public to help authorities track down a man who attempted to kidnap a 5-year-old girl. The shocking attempted crime happened in broad daylight and was captured on video.

The Chicago Police Department said a mother was walking with her 5-year-old daughter on West Fullerton Avenue near North Leclaire Avenue around 12 p.m. on Thursday. That’s when an unidentified man followed the mother and daughter.

The man offered the mother to buy her daughter for an unspecified amount of cash. The mother refused the troubling offer, and they walked away from the man.

The man pursued and attempted to grab the little girl’s hair to pull her closer to him. The mother slapped his hands away from her young daughter. The mother and daughter were able to escape safely.

Chicago Mayor Says Texas Is ‘Racist’ for Sending Migrants to Her City

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot lashed out at Texas after her city became the latest target for Gov. Greg Abbott’s migrant busing campaign, calling the move “racist” but saying her city is ready to take the newcomers.

She vowed to welcome the migrants and treat them better than the “racism, discrimination and human cruelty” she said they suffered in Texas, with offers of housing, food and “protection.” Through a spokesperson, she blasted Mr. Abbott for forcing the situation onto her.

“Texas Governor Greg Abbott is without any shame or humanity,” the spokesperson said.

Chicago becomes the latest Democratic-led city to be targeted by Mr. Abbott, who is intent on sharing the massive migrant surge with other parts of the country.

Highland Park Parade Mass Shooting Suspect Arrested After Brief Police Pursuit

By NBC Chicago. The 22-year-old person of interest connected to the Highland Park Independence Day parade mass shooting that left at least six people dead and approximately two dozen others “seriously injured” Monday morning has been arrested, police said.

Police said 22-year-old Robert “Bobby” E Crimo III was taken into custody following a brief police pursuit that ended in north suburban Lake Forest.

Authorities said Crimo’s vehicle was located in north Chicago and officers attempted to stop him before he fled the scene, leading police on a brief pursuit before coming to a stop.

He was taken into custody “without incident,” police said. and he was taken to the Highland Park Police Department for questioning. No charges had been filed as of late Monday night. . .

Highland Park Attack Occurred Despite Red Flag Law, Other Stringent Gun Controls

By Breitbart. A red flag law, a waiting period for gun purchases, licensing requirements, and numerous other gun controls did not prevent the July 4, 2022, Highland Park attack.

Mike Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety lists Illinois as the state with the sixth most stringent gun laws in the country.

Moreover, Gabby Giffords gun control group gives Illinois a grade of A- on gun control.

Illinois has a red flag law, a waiting period for gun purchases, gun owner licensing, domestic violence gun laws, “open carry regulations,” and numerous other gun controls. . .

Cook County has an “assault weapons” ban that also bans “high-capacity” magazines. In neighboring Lake County, the City of Highland Park has an “assault weapons” ban that also bans “large-capacity” magazines. ‘I Saw Her Die’: Witness Describes Traumatic Scene of July 4th Parade Shooting (VIDEO)

An eyewitness recounted the horrific scene at Monday’s Highland Park parade celebrating Independence Day, telling CNN that she had watched as a young girl was shot to death in the street.

The witness, who introduced herself to CNN’s Adrienne Broaduss as only “Zoe,” explained that she and her father had arrived early to watch the pet parade and the children’s parade first — and she said that when the shooting first started, a number of people had believed it was fireworks or some other part of the planned festivities.

“You know, a little after the band went through, we heard pew-pew-pew, probably heard 50 rounds in total, at least,” Zoe described the moment the chaos began. “Everyone thought it was fireworks. Everyone said, oh, fireworks and the military people had just gone through with the shotguns, and I was like, something is wrong. I grabbed my dad and started running.”

“All of a sudden everyone behind us started running. I looked back, probably 20 feet away from me, I saw a girl shot and killed. The girl I’ve heard on the news with — in blood — I saw her die. Parade ‘Shooter’ Who Killed 6 Arrested, Had Posted Videos Before Massacre

. . .Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III was intercepted by cops in North Lake Forest, Chicago, after 7pm local time Monday evening when cops saw the silver Honda Fit he was last seen driving.

Dramatic photographs from the scene show the suspected mass-murderer – who posted creepy clips about shooting massacres online – being pinned to the ground face-down by police.

Crimo is from of the Highland Park area and posted rap videos online using the name Awake. In one song, the suspect wrote: ‘My actions will be valiant and my thought is unnecessary, I know what I have to do, I know what’s in it, not only for me, but for everyone else.’

The doom-laden words were set to drawings of a figure who looked like Crimo pointing a rifle while a person lies prone on the ground, and another holds their hands up in the air.

At one point, a grab of a newspaper clipping about JFK’s murderer Lee Harvey Oswald is visible.

BLOODY HOLIDAY WEEKEND: Dozens Shot, Nearly 10 Killed as Violence Floods Dem-Run City (VIDEO)

Violence in Chicago continues to escalate over the long July 4th weekend, with 54 people shot, 7 of them fatally.

The weekend kicked off with 22 people shot, four fatally, within the span of 20 hours on Friday. Violent encounters with police also popped up throughout the weekend, with Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown begging parents to take responsibility over their children.

“There’s no reason why everyone can’t enjoy the holiday and every event safely. Parents, please, please know where your children are,” he said. “Don’t leave them to government to be the parents of your kids. We need you, parents, please, to help us make sure your young people are safe.”

A crowd of protesters in Chicago’s Loop attacked police cars with fireworks and blunt objects after authorities responded to reports of cars doing donuts in an intersection.

Soaring Crime Has Businesses Packing Their Bags in Dem-Run City

A business owner in Chicago, Illinois tells Fox News Digital that skyrocketing crime in the city forced him to quit doing business in town adding to the list of individuals and businesses that have fled Illinois over the past couple of years amid surging crime.

Gary Rabine, founder of the Rabine Group and owner of 13 businesses, told Fox News Digital this week that surging crime in Chicago was a driving factor in his decision to pull his road paving company out of the city after his crews were repeatedly robbed, sometimes in broad daylight, even after adding security to the jobs.

“We would do thousands of jobs a year in the city, but as we got robbed more, my people operating rollers and pavers we got robbed, our equipment would get stolen in broad daylight and there would usually be a gun involved, and it got expensive and it got dangerous,” Rabine told Fox News Digital. . .

Last week, billionaire Ken Griffin announced he is moving his hedge-fund firm Citadel Securities out of Chicago after citing crime as a major concern over the past few months.

“If people aren’t safe here, they’re not going to live here,” Griffin told the Wall Street Journal in April. “I’ve had multiple colleagues mugged at gunpoint. I’ve had a colleague stabbed on the way to work. Countless issues of burglary. ‘Squatter’ With Fake Lease Won’t Leave Chicago Woman’s Home — And Cops Are Powerless

An alleged squatter with a bogus lease is refusing to leave a Chicago woman’s house — and there’s nothing cops can do about it, the homeowner said.

Danielle Cruz told ABC 7 she recently put the three-bedroom Chatham pad on the market but when a contractor arrived to make some final repairs to the vacant home, a stranger was shacked up in it.

Cruz immediately called the cops but when officers arrived, the nightmare house guest allegedly whipped out a fake lease and claimed to have already paid $8,000 in rent, leaving cops powerless to kick her out, she said.

“They said, unfortunately, they couldn’t prove she was trespassing,” Cruz told the station, explaining that she now has to go to court and follow the formal eviction process.
