Not Just China: The US Government, Universities Are Hiding Evidence on the Origin of COVID-19, Experts Allege

An article published last week in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) has ignited a new debate over the origin of COVID-19.

Renowned economist Jeffrey Sachs and Dr. Neil Harrison, a professor of molecular pharmacology and therapeutics at Columbia University, laid out one of the most comprehensive overviews of the evidence yet that COVID-19 could potentially have emerged from a lab in Wuhan, China. However, unlike most previous analyses, Harrison and Sachs point out that there are troves of untapped evidence potentially available right here in the United States that have not yet been investigated.

Attempts to investigate what was going on at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in the leadup to the COVID-19 pandemic have thus far been stifled by a lack of cooperation from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). However, the two authors allege that more than a half dozen institutions in the United States have evidence that could prove useful in finding where COVID-19 came from, if only they would make it public.

Most of these institutions are government agencies — the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The authors also name the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and University of California-Davis (UCD) as well as EcoHealth Alliance (EHA), the non-profit which worked directly with the WIV on bat-based coronavirus research. Interesting Timing: China Prepares Test Kits Against Monkeypox, Readies Vaccine

As three European countries have imposed compulsory quarantines for monkeypox patients while Canada and the US reportedly placed orders for millions of doses of vaccines that are used against both smallpox and monkeypox, the Chinese public raised concerns over whether China would face the risk of monkeypox and if the country has preparations to protect people from being infected.

Several Chinese test kit makers reached by the Global Times on Monday said they have developed nucleic acid test kits for monkeypox, which can be quickly put into mass production and on the domestic market once approved by the government.

Meanwhile, experts pointed out that there are no technological problems in developing a vaccine against monkeypox and a rapid special review by China’s drug administration could help the country develop the vaccine in roughly a year.

The monkeypox virus was first identified in humans in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1970. Several weeks after being infected, individuals may experience symptoms including fever, headache, swelling of the lymph nodes, and muscle aches, which are followed several days later by a highly distinctive pustule rash. China, Notorious for Deadly Formula Scandals, Tells U.S. To ‘Expand Infant Formula Imports’

Chinese government media outlets condemned the U.S. baby formula market, in some cases citing American media, this weekend for not allowing more imports amid a crippling shortage that has resulted in infant hospitalizations nationwide.

The People’s Daily, the official newspaper of the Communist Party of China, claimed in a piece published in English on Saturday that “Donald Trump administration’s efforts to protect domestic formula producers” were partly to blame for acute shortages of the product nationwide, in some areas resulting in the depletion of up to 40 percent of stock. The propaganda outlet cited the pro-big business Wall Street Journal as supporting its position.

In a column on Thursday, the Global Times, another government propaganda outlet, called policies to protect American manufacturers “the root cause of the formula crisis” and called on America to “expand infant formula imports.”

Chinese parents have struggled in recent memory to acquire safe, legitimate infant formula products in the face of numerous scandals – from corrupt hospitals conspiring with pharmacies to profit from the sales of fake formula to local stores selling nutritionless fake formula powders to formula laced with the toxic chemical melamine killing children.

“With only four major manufacturers of formula in the United States today: Mead Johnson, Abbott, Nestle, and Perrigo, some 40 percent of the nation’s baby formula has been out of stock recently, causing new mothers to hunt from store to store to feed their infants,” the People’s Daily – citing another Chinese state news agency, Xinhua – relayed on Saturday, using the Wall Street Journal to make the case for importing foreign baby formula into the United States. Leaked Audio From High Level Meeting Reveals That China Is Moving to a Wartime Footing

According to an audio recording, reportedly leaked out of a recent high-level meeting that took place in Beijing, China, among senior officers of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Guangdong Military Region of the Southern Command, as well as Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, the People’s Republic of China (PRC) is actively preparing to put the country on a war footing.

Plans discussed at the early May meeting focused on a surprise military attack against Taiwan and seizure of the first island chain of archipelagos out from the East Asian mainland that includes territory belonging to Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines and Russia (the disputed Kuril Islands).

Much of the area within the first island chain is claimed by the PRC, for example, within its so-called “Nine-Dash Line.” The Gateway Pundit published a report about the joint CCP-PLA meeting on May 16.

The key focus of the CCP-PLA meeting was preparation to build a “military-civilian joint mobilization command and control system,” “establishing wartime procedures,” and “preparing for wartime command and control.”

The immediate Chinese military objective is conquest of Taiwan along with achieving a sweeping complete control of the South China Sea. That objective includes holding onto the artificial islands China has built up in the South China Sea and removing all U.S. and Western allied presence from the first island chain. GOP Warning: Threat of Chinese Invasion of Taiwan at All-Time High

The threat of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan “remains unabated, if not heightened” as a result of the Biden administration’s “slow, manipulatable, and self-defeatist posture” toward the war in Ukraine, according to a group of Republican foreign policy leaders in Congress who are pressing the White House to confront Beijing.

“We are concerned that Beijing may be learning different lessons from the ongoing crisis [in Ukraine], and the risk of a People’s Liberation Army assault on Taiwan remains unabated, if not heightened,” eight Republicans, including those on the House Armed Services Committee, wrote to President Joe Biden on Tuesday, according to a copy of the missive obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. “To proactively deter China from attempting an invasion of Taiwan, we call on your administration to commit unequivocally and publicly to uphold Taiwan’s security and the intent of the United States to act in the event of Chinese military aggression against the island.”

The Biden administration has sent mixed messages on Taiwan. The president committed to defending the island’s sovereignty from a Chinese attack before having his staff reverse course on that stance. China, like Russia, watched the Biden administration fumble through Afghanistan—abandoning allies in the country and millions of dollars in military equipment—and believes American military power across the globe is waning. The bungled evacuation fostered uncertainty among allies and stoked confidence in adversaries, the lawmakers said. Now, with Russia waging a war in Ukraine, the Biden administration has flip-flopped on sanctions, slowed military aid to Ukraine, and provided critical economic lifelines to Russian president Vladimir Putin, the lawmakers said.

“The way your administration is handling the Russian invasion of Ukraine has immense repercussions on Taiwan’s security,” wrote the lawmakers, led by Rep. Audio Leaked of Chinese Military Meeting Discussing the Invasion of Taiwan and Defeat of Regional US Forces

A Secret recording of a Chinese military meeting planning the invasion of Taiwan and the defeat of regional U.S. forces has reportedly been uncovered.

In the past week, in response to the instruction of the “Central Military Commission of the State Council” in Beijing on “transitioning to a war time system,” a meeting took place involving senior officers of the People Liberation Army’s Guangdong Military Region of the Southern Command and the principal officers in Guangdong Province administration and the regional Chinese Communist Party committee.

Those participating in the meeting included: Major General Zhou He, Commander of the Guangdong Military Region; Major General Huang Shan-chun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Region; Li Xi, Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee; Wang Wei-zhong, Deputy Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Guangdong Province; Zhang Hu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee and Executive Vice Governor of the Provincial Government; and Wang Zhi-zhong, Deputy Governor of the Guangdong Provincial Government and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Public Security Department.

The meeting focused on three areas:

1. Building a military-civilian joint mobilization command and control system

2. Establishing wartime procedures

3. Preparing for wartime command and control

The main military objectives are to “smash Taiwan independence” and to ensure victory in “a decisive battle in the South China Sea.”

“It is necessary to coordinate the two directions of the Taiwan Strait and the South China Sea, the two areas of maritime and land protection, the two traditional and new forces, the two kinds of resources in the province and overseas, and the focus on cohesive resources to ensure the direction of the Taiwan Strait.

Guangdong Province alone has been ordered to mobilize massive resources for an invasion of Taiwan.

1. 1,358 units of various types with a total of 140,000 personnel; 953 ships; 1,653 unmanned aircraft; 20 airport terminals; 6 shipyards; 14 emergency mobilization centers; grain and oil depots, hospital blood bank, etc.

2. 15,500 military experts of various disciplines.

3. 64 10,000-ton ro-ro ships, 38 aircraft, 588 trains, and 19 civil facilities such as airport docks.”

China intends to apply the lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic towards mobilization and control of its population to meet wartime objectives.

“Convert the experience and practice of the prevention and control of the new corona epidemic in previous years into measures for social prevention and control during wartime, to ensure that the people’s production and life are orderly, the overall social situation is stable, and to create a favorable environment and conditions for a strategic victory.”

The military-political commissar has been ordered to use Chinese assets, both domestic and international, and the political influencers that the Chinese Communist Party has cultivated in the West to support its coming war in Asia.

“Huang (Shan Chun) political commissar (major general, Guangdong Military Region): overseas mobilization, decisive victory against Taiwan. Overseas Chinese, state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, cooperation with the Belt and Road institutions, covering the army with the people, supporting the army with the people, high-end chip machinery, special materials, oil, grain and minerals and other bulk strategic materials, crack the wartime US-West alliance, and protect the military. ‘All resources in the world are for my use’, foreign aid and domestic aid.”

While the Biden regime simultaneously destroys the American economy, risks nuclear war by sending billions of dollars to protect Ukraine’s borders rather than our own, and while the U.S. military undermines its own readiness through Woke policies and useless vaccine mandates, China prepares for victory.

I bet the politically-contaminated U.S. intelligence agencies have no clue about China’s war plans because they are too busy waging their own war on patriotic, law-abiding Americans.

Prominent U.S. Defense Contractors Linked to Chinese Government

Several major U.S. defense contractors have been linked to the Chinese government, according to a new report.

A new report from Fox News reveals that three of America’s most prominent defense contractors have ties with firms connected to the Chinese government, which critics say present a number of challenges to national security.

The report says that Raytheon, Boeing, and Bell Flight “maintain relationships” with firms connected to the Chinese government. Some consultants have pointed out that doing business with Chinese government linked entities entails a variety of risks.

“Doing a relatively significant amount of business in China changes the risk profile now more than ever for any U.S. company, whether for compliance, cyber, reputation, security or other risks,” Isaac Fish, CEO of Strategy Risks, told Fox.

Xi Jinping to Step Down, Rumors Suggest, Amid Harsh China COVID Lockdowns

Rumors circulating in China and among overseas Chinese social media are claiming Chinese President Xi Jinping, under fire for draconian COVID-19 lockdowns in Shanghai and elsewhere, will step down from power.

The rumors followed a meeting last week of the Party Politburo Standing Committee, the collective leadership group that rules China. They were traced in part to a Chinese-language YouTube video May 4 by Canadian-based blogger appearing under the persona “Lao Deng.” Details of the video quickly spread to social media outlets in China but were quickly censored.

The blogger, citing what he said was a senior Chinese Communist Party (CCP) security source, said a “coup” was launched against Mr. Xi at the meeting of senior party leaders in Beijing. According to blog, Mr. Xi was forced to step aside but will stay in place until a major party meeting later this year.

In his place, current Premier Li Keqiang will take over daily management of the party and government.

Did China Just Signal That It’s on the Brink of War?

China is exploring how to avoid economic sanctions in preparation for war, several experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Tuesday.

China convened an emergency internal conference on April 22 seeking to determine how the nation might avoid future sanctions similar to those levied against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, the Financial Times reported on Monday. That meeting likely betrays China’s intention to launch a military offensive in the foreseeable future, experts told the DCNF.

Ambassador John Bolton, former President Donald Trump’s National Security Advisor, told the DCNF he believes the meeting signals China’s militaristic ambitions. . .

“It’s not just my assessment, it’s China’s assessment: they believe Biden is weak,” Bolton said, noting how former President Bill Clinton dispatched two aircraft carriers to the Taiwan Strait during the Third Taiwan Strait Crisis in 1996 as a show of force. “I don’t think anybody believes Joe Biden would do that today.”

Massive Chinese Fleet Seen Barreling Toward U.S. Naval Base

The largest Chinese aircraft carrier group reportedly ever assembled is conducting combat training near a U.S. naval base in Japan, according to multiple Chinese media sources on Tuesday.

China’s aircraft carrier “Liaoning,” as well as seven other vessels, are reportedly performing a naval expedition in close proximity to Nagasaki, Japan, and the U.S. Navy base at Sasebo, according to a Tuesday report from China’s Observer News translated by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier is also in the vicinity, according to the report.

The U.S. Naval Institute fleet tracker placed both the USS Abraham Lincoln, as well as the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier in the waters near Sasebo on May 2.

China’s naval expedition comes a week after its military reportedly shadowed a U.S. Navy destroyer conducting a freedom of navigation exercise in the Taiwan Strait last Tuesday.
