Alan Dershowitz Says Russian Indictments Are Proof a Special Counsel Is Unnecessary

Civil liberty icon Alan Dershowitz said Friday that the indictments against Russians officials in the special counsel’s investigation into election interference are proof that the special counsel was unnecessary. . .

Dershowitz said on Fox News that the indictments could have been pursued by other than a special counsel investigation. He was asked to respond to a tweet from Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s lawyer, opining that the special counsel investigation needs to be shut down. . .

“This indictment could have been brought by ordinary prosecutors, ordinary FBI agents, there’s no conflict here, it’s Russians they are going after,” he added. “There’s no president, there’s no people around the president, there’s no conflict between the attorney general and the deputy attorney general, and Americans, it’s all Russians.”

“Why do we need to spend twenty, thirty, forty million dollars, have special counsel appointed, to do a routine national security investigation, number one?” he asked.

“Number two we’ll never find out the extent of the guilt of these people because of course they’re never gonna go on trial,” he continued. “They’re indicted but they’ll never go on trial.”

LOOK: CNN Contributor Compares Christianity to ‘Sharia Law,’ Guest Walks off Show

By The Daily Wire. Conservative radio host Steve Deace walked off the set of an HLN segment on Friday after CNN contributor Dean Obeidallah compared Christianity to Sharia law. . .

“The stakes are really high in this country,” Obeidallah said. “And there are people who want to impose Christian Sharia law in this country. And what I mean by that is that they want the Bible as the law of the land.”

Deace later fired back that any comparison between Islamic Sharia law and Christianity was “preposterous,” but Obeidallah, who is very progressive, continued to push the comparison.

“Christian Sharia law in this context is simply shorthand for turning religious beliefs into the laws of the land,” Obeidallah continued. “I’m not going through the Bible. To me, that’s what Sharia is in the Muslim world, what Sharia is here. I’m not sure why you’d be upset unless you’re advocating it. I’m not suggesting you are.” (Read more from “CNN Contributor Compares Christianity to ‘Sharia Law,’ Guest Walks off Show” HERE)

Absolutely No Co-Existence With Islam

By American Thinker. Islam and the West cannot co-exist. I have warned of this many times, and I hope I have not been talking to a wall.

Fellow travelers, there is no “coexistence” in Islam, there is only subjugation or elimination of infidels. Islam believes in the rule of Islam, Caliphate to the Sunnis, and Imamate to the Shiites. Hence, to Muslims, all other forms of government represent the handiwork of Satan and infidels.

Therefore, one and all non-Islamic systems of government must be purified by Islamic fire. This is a fact.

Muslim jihadists live among us. It is only going to get worse. Jihadists consider themselves the army of Allah. They use violence as an instrument of policy. This continues to be central to Islam. Muslims war under the firmly-believed and widely-cherished set of ideas that are rabidly militaristic. No matter which side is killed, Islam is the victor, “You kill them, you go to paradise; you get killed, you go to paradise,” are two examples of exhortations to jihadism and war.

For the past twenty years or so, I have been warning to free men and women: Remain a spectator at your own peril. It is imperative that you take a stand, denounce the fraud of Islam, and do all you can to prevent Islamic fire from devouring our civilized democratic system. Tomorrow will be too late. CNN Host Proclaims ‘National Emergency’

July started with a lull. On the Monday before Independence Day, the news network morning shows led with the oppressively hot weather. The normal feverish panic about living in Donald Trump’s America was missing for a few hours.

You can count on CNN “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter to stay true to the trash-Trump parade. At the liberal Aspen Ideas Festival, he interviewed Washington Post executive editor Marty Baron. Stelter claimed to speak for the crowd when he began asking: “Are we living through a national emergency? And if so, how in the heck should journalists be covering it that way?”

Baron replied that it isn’t his place to answer that. His newspaper’s role “is to cover very aggressively this administration as we would cover any other administration.” He claimed, “We’re not in the business of sort of characterizing the era.”

This is preposterous. The Post greeted the Trump presidency by posting a new motto on the front page each day: “Democracy Dies in Darkness.” It sells T-shirts with the motto to other liberals. By contrast, during Barack Obama’s presidential transition in 2009, the Post promoted to national editor a journalist who wrote gushy captions for a coffee-table book titled “Obama: The Historic Campaign in Photographs.”

Most Americans would suggest that the Dow Jones Industrial Average being up 5,000 points since President Trump’s inauguration and the unemployment rate being 3.8 percent is not a national emergency. But then again, most Americans aren’t journalists.

The silliness continued. Stelter told Baron, “The media critique from the left is that this is a crisis and thus journalists have to cover it differently than Bush or Obama or other past presidents.”

Baron acknowledged the Post is “more blunt about calling out falsehoods” than it was previously “because there are so many of them and they’re so blatant.” Then he added: “Steve Bannon tried to call us the opposition party. We don’t see ourselves as the opposition party and we’re not inclined to embrace the notions of some people who would like us to be the opposition party. We’re an independent news organization. We’re independent of all parties and all ideologies.”

Baloney. Baron simply cannot believe that, unless the Kool-Aid is stronger than we thought. Wouldn’t it be fun to find out just how many Washington Post reporters and editors voted for Hillary Clinton over Trump? If a single Trump voter could be found in the newsroom, that would be a surprise. How “independent of all parties” would the Post look then? We found in 2016 that among the Post employees who donated to candidates for federal office in recent years, 15 donated only to Democrats and one advertising sales manager gave to $200 to former Gov. Mitt Romney.

Stelter kept pestering Baron from the left in Aspen: “Your famous line is that ‘We’re not at war; we’re at work.’ … But if one side is at war and the other side is a pacifist, doesn’t the pacifist lose?”

This may be the one occasion where liberals discuss the benefits of war and the pitfalls of pacifism!

“It’s not the way that I would frame it,” Baron explained. “[W]e have the greatest credibility when we do our jobs honestly, honorably, accurately, fairly, diligently, energetically, unflinchingly.”

Our media have shunned any notion of objectivity under Trump. Activists like Brian Stelter keep urging top editors to oppose, rebel and resist, and they wonder why their own approval ratings continue to sink lower, and lower, and lower. Former CNN Producer Torches Acosta: You’re ‘Truly Embarrassing’ and Confirm Anti-Trump Media Bias

. . .CNN’s Jim Acosta once again embarrassed himself at a White House event, where we celebrated the six-month anniversary of the tax reform package becoming law; a law that has formed the foundation for our rapid economic growth. As he left the podium, Acosta shouted if the president would “stop calling the press the enemy of the people.”

Acosta quite nakedly tried to pin blame on the tragic shooting at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland, which left five people dead. It was not Trump’s fault. The shooter, 38-year-old Jarrod Ramos, used a shotgun to commit the attack and his grievance with the publication dated back to 2011-12. The Left tried to blame the Trump White House; it blew up in their faces. Sorry, but this is what gives credence to the fake news criticism, which by the way, originated with Hillary Clinton, not Trump. Even a former CNN producer, Steve Krakauer, torched Acosta for his behavior, saying what he did captured why many are losing trust in the media. It also reinforces the notion that the elite media is biased, they’re allies of the Democratic Party, and they’re unabashedly anti-Trump. I know—preaching to the choir here.

CNN Analyst Gets CALLED OUT by CNN for Spreading Epic Fake News

CNN political analyst April Ryan was called out by her colleagues at the network on Tuesday for spreading false information about President Donald Trump being booed at a White House event celebrating America.

Ryan tweeted: “Breaking: Reporters on the South Lawn have confirmed the @realDonaldTrump was heckled and booed when he came out to celebrate America.”

Within just a couple of minutes, the truth came out; one person in the crowd heckled the president as he spoke and the crowd booed the heckler, not the president.

Wife of Deportee Shocks Leftist: ‘I Can’t Be Mad at Trump for Doing His Job … to Protect U.S. Citizens’

Cindy Garcia did not fit the liberal narrative that CNN may have been aiming for when she defended President Trump in spite of having her husband deported. . .

Garcia could not fault Trump for “doing his job,” she told Baldwin, who asked about her views after playing a video of the family crying as Jorge Garcia was taken away for deportation.

“Yes, I am not upset at our government due to the fact that I am a U.S. citizen and that our laws come first,” Garcia said, noting that the Mexican life has “taken a toll” on her husband who has lost 30 pounds since leaving the U.S.

“Our laws are just broken and need to be fixed, but I can’t be mad at Trump for doing his job because that is his job to protect us, as U.S. citizens, from criminals,” Garcia added. “The only thing is my husband was not a criminal and those are the laws that need to be fixed because they are broken for the people … brought as children, doing the right thing, and have never committed a crime.” . . .

After almost three decades living in Michigan and raising a family, Jorge Garcia was deported to Mexico after being escorted by immigration agents at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in January, according to The Washington Free Beacon. CNN Analyst Tweets Article Suggesting Trump Could Be Running Child Sex Trafficking Ring

CNN political analyst April Ryan shared an article on her Twitter account on Sunday that floated the idea that President Donald Trump could be running a child sex trafficking ring.

The article that Ryan tweeted, from The Root, was titled, “Is the Trump Administration Running a Child-Trafficking Ring or Nah? Follow Me Down the Rabbit Hole.” . . .

[Spokesperson for Melania Trump, Stephanie Grisham,] wrote: “If you’re a journalist w many followers & a @CNNPolitics contributor…is it ok to retweet any headline you want, regardless of if it’s true? Remember: ‘The core purpose of a journalist is to research, document, write, & present the news in an honest, ethical, & unbiased way.'”

Britt McHenry also called out Ryan, writing, “Trump Derangement Syndrome has gone off the rails. How can a major network contributor tweet this out?”

Watch: CNN Interviews Man Who Won’t Move out of Parents’ Home. It’s Embarrassing.

In an interview on Wednesday, CNN spoke with a 30-year-old man who was legally evicted in court from his parent’s home in New York this week after they had asked him to move out multiple times. It was cringe-worthy.

In the ridiculous interview, Michael Rotondo discussed his embarrassing story with CNN’s Brooke Baldwin, saying that he views his parents’ attempts to get him to move out as “attacks.”

“Let me just understand because I hear you on your parents giving you notices, the fact that you are on national television talking about moving out of your parents’ house, you tell me you want to move out of your parents’ house,” Baldwin said. “Why don’t you just move out of your parents’ house like tomorrow?”

Shocker: Even Leftist Columnist Rips Hamas, Says They Committed ‘an Act of Human Sacrifice’

Appearing on CNN with Anderson Cooper, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, who has spent his career attacking the Israeli right wing, astonishingly ripped into Hamas for the violence along the Israeli-Gaza border and the Palestinians who were killed, saying Hamas had committed “an act of human sacrifice.”

Cooper precipitated Friedman’s response by assuming Friedman would buy into the media’s false narrative of the correlation between the opening of the embassy in Jerusalem and the Hamas riots, ignoring that Hamas had been rioting every week for weeks: “Tom, it was striking yesterday to watch members of the Trump Administration celebrating the unveiling of the new embassy and at the same time Palestinians were being killed on the Israeli-Gaza border.”

Shockingly, Friedman ignored Cooper’s attempt and targeted Hamas instead, saying:

You know, the whole thing, Anderson, is just like diplomatic pornography from beginning to end. Let’s start with Hamas and Gaza. I mean, it was an act of human sacrifice. I’m sorry, when you throw thousands of your youth, the flower of your youth against an Israeli fence, supposedly to get into Israel, some of them surrounded by armed Hamas fighters, it was inevitable that a lot of people were gonna get killed. Israel was not going to open the border to them and Hamas knew that, and this was entirely designed by Hamas to distract the attention of the world, not to mention the Middle East.

. . .

Friedman answered, “Absolutely. They’re totally in control. And this is their answer to failed leadership, to turn Gaza into some kind of decent flourishing state, which they could have done. They had the choice to do that before all these blockades began and they chose not to. They have a lot to answer for.” (Read more from “Shocker: Even Leftist Columnist Rips Hamas, Says They Committed ‘an Act of Human Sacrifice'” HERE)

Cozy: CNN Reporter Parties with Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer

. . .CNN prime time host Don Lemon was photographed on Wednesday partying with Stormy Daniels’ obnoxious attorney Michael Avenatti — along with a couple other CNN talking heads.

According to a post on Twitter, Lemon and Avenatti were snapped living it up with CNN political analyst Errol Louis, a New York City journalist and television show host, and Margaret Hoover, a paid political contributor for CNN.

The tweet was first posted by someone named Juanita Scarlett, but was later deleted. She has been identified by Mediaite as the wife of Louis . . .

“Thrilled to have met @MichaelAvenatti at the Sag Harbor soiree of my second favorite favorite on-air journalist @donlemon @errollous @MargaretHoover,” the tweet read.

“The soiree was most likely at Lemon’s home since he purchased a place in Sag Harbor a couple of years ago,” The Daily Caller reported. “Avenatti’s presence at the party seemed to confirm Lemon’s boyfriend’s hint to The Daily Caller News Foundation that the two are friends.” (Read more from “Cozy: CNN Reporter Parties with Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer” HERE)
