As Warren Announces 2020 Run, This Feminist Writer Trashed Her and Virtually the Entire Democratic Field

When it comes to feminism, you think a bunch of over-educated, humorless, eeyores that ruin almost everything with some needless lecture about how x, y, or z is a construct of the so-called patriarchy. It’s a cornerstone of the liberal elite. And yet, there are a few voices that are sick of feminism’s intellectual torpor, the man hating, and the inability to create a coherent agenda. In fact, the same could be said for the Democratic Party as they prepare for the 2020 election. Camille Paglia is a feminist, a left-winger, and is not afraid to shoot inside the ship. For one thing, as a flurry of female candidate announce their 2020 ambitions, the first being Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Paglia trashed Warren and virtually the entire 2020 Democratic field before they even made their intentions known.

In early December, Spectator USA did an interview with Paglia, where she said that Warren “doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell” to appeal beyond the urban and professional elites that dominate the Democratic Party. In other words, she won’t be able to beat Trump. She also felt that until the Democratic Party comes up with an agenda and a message that doesn’t center on humiliating and denigrating half the country, they’re going to be stuck in neutral:

You’ve been a sharp political prognosticator over the years. So can I start by asking for a prediction. What will happen in 2020 in America? Will Hillary Clinton run again?

If the economy continues strong, Trump will be reelected. The Democrats (my party) have been in chaos since the 2016 election and have no coherent message except Trump hatred. Despite the vast pack of potential candidates, no one yet seems to have the edge. I had high hopes for Kamala Harris, but she missed a huge opportunity to play a moderating, statesmanlike role and has already imprinted an image of herself as a ruthless inquisitor that will make it hard for her to pull voters across party lines.

Screechy Elizabeth Warren has never had a snowball’s chance in hell to appeal beyond upper-middle-class professionals of her glossy stripe. Kirsten Gillibrand is a wobbly mediocrity. Cory Booker has all the gravitas of a cork. Andrew Cuomo is a yapping puppy with a long, muddy bullyboy tail. Both Bernie Sanders (for whom I voted in the 2016 primaries) and Joe Biden (who would have won the election had Obama not cut him off at the knees) are way too old and creaky.

Shocker: The Woman Who Tried to Pass Herself off as Native American Isn’t Doing Well With Progressives

The 2020 Democratic field is going to be an epic clown show. Everyone is jumping in—and it’s going to be a delicious festival of who can out-crazy the other. It’s going to be a contest for who can say is more for open borders, higher taxes, more regulations, and who is the most woke. It’s going to be a cacophony of insanity. And sadly, it seems the usual suspects are not rising to the top. Beto O’Rourke is a work in progress, but no doubt you’ll see his figures rise, unless he just totally drops the ball. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has long been a prod member for the far left wing of the Democratic Party. The problem is that her stock took a hit when she revealed that she was, indeed, a white woman. For years, she’s peddled this racial hoax that she was part of the Cherokee nation. She recently released a DNA test showing that she’s…1/1024thNative America. By these standards, I’m also a Native American…and I have zero blood ties. Warren finally admitted she was just a white womanat a recent commencement address at Morgan State. The truth will set ye free, but the fact remains is that Warren thought she could culturally appropriate the Cherokee Nation and get away with it because she was a liberal. She committed one of the cardinal sins of American liberalism, and progressives appear to be moving on from her (via Politico): . . .

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), meanwhile, has seen her stock slide among the group‘s members, according to the poll released Tuesday and obtained first by POLITICO. The Massachusetts senator, whose success in similar polling four years ago propelled DFA to help organize a massive but ultimately unsuccessful effort to draft her into the 2016 presidential campaign — was running fourth.

From Liberal Boston Herald: White Lies Catch up with Elizabeth Warren

. . .Two months after offering what she claimed was definitive proof of her Native American ancestry, she is now acknowledging that she’s a honky. . .

Here’s the next step for the woman who was white before she was Cherokee before she was white: release your employment applications to the law schools at Harvard and Penn. Since you now admit you’re a white woman, it shouldn’t be a problem to prove once and for all that you never did “check the box” to grab a racial preference you weren’t entitled to.

Show us, fake Indian, that you did not speak with forked tongue many moons ago. If you no lie, we smoke peace pipe.

The takeaway here is, Elizabeth Warren still dreams of being elected president in 2020. She wouldn’t be humiliating herself like this if she didn’t want to be the Great White Father.

She’s been huddling with her fellow geriatric faker Bernie Sanders. She’s reportedly scouting locations in Boston for a campaign headquarters. Potomac fever is a tough disease to overcome, especially, for some reason, if you’re from Massachusetts. (Read more from “From Liberal Boston Herald: White Lies Catch up with Elizabeth Warren” HERE)

Elizabeth Warren’s Stunt Was so Terrible That She Might…Apologize for It?

Just two weeks before the 2018 midterm elections, 2020 presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren released the results of a DNA test in order to “prove” she’s Native American. After all, she used the title to get ahead in her academic and political careers.

Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren on Wednesday sought to explain her controversial decision to list herself as a Native American in a directory of law professors for nearly a decade before getting a job at Harvard Law School and said she is absolutely qualified for her job.

But as decision time for 2020 inches closer, the failed stunt has turned into an even bigger albatross for the Massachusetts Senator. According to the New York Times, Democrat advisors believe Warren may have blown her 2020 chances and that the damage of her cultural appropriation may be beyond repair. In fact, some believe her only way to survival is through an apology.

Advisers close to Ms. Warren say she has privately expressed concern that she may have damaged her relationships to Native American groups and her own standing with progressive activists, particularly those who are racial minorities. Several outside advisers are even more worried: They say they believe a plan should be made to repair that damage, possibly including a strong statement of apology.

The advisers say Ms. Warren will have to confront the issue again if she announces a presidential campaign, which is expected in the coming weeks, and several would like her to act soon.

Watch: Warren First Learns of Ethics Complaint Against Her in Middle of Debate

In a rather remarkable moment in a U.S. Senate debate in Massachusetts Tuesday, Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren learned for the first time that an ethics complaint has been filed against her for having fundraised off of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings.

The presidential hopeful senator was first informed of the complaint by her Republican challenger Geoff Diehl in a moment highlighted by The Washington Free Beacon. . .

Warren, who maintained a blank look on her face when Diehl first cited the complaint, attempted to side-step the issue by asking Diehl to name a time that he criticized Trump after he made dismissive remarks about Christine Blasey Ford’s uncorroborated allegations. . .

“I would like to drill down on what Representative Diehl said,” one moderator said. “The fundraising while the vote was being taken on the Kavanaugh hearing — did you or did you not do that?”

“Actually, I don’t know,” said Warren, an admission that caused a stir in the audience. (Read more from “Watch: Warren First Learns of Ethics Complaint Against Her in Middle of Debate” HERE)

Warren Finally Admits She Is Not Native American

. . .Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the Massachusetts Democrat who for decades claimed she was a Native American, has finally come out and said what we’ve all known for ages: She’s no Indian.

“I am not a citizen of any tribal nation,” Warren said during a debate on CBS Boston. “Only tribes determine tribal citizenship, it’s not done by DNA.” . . .

Warren listed herself as Native American in the Association of American Law School Directory, and according to The Boston Globe, she “had her ethnicity changed from white to Native American at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she taught from 1987 to 1995, and at Harvard University Law School, where she was a tenured faculty member starting in 1995.”

Some critics say she got the Harvard slot by claiming to be American Indian. “Harvard Law School in the 1990s touted Warren, then a professor in Cambridge, as being Native American,’” CNN reported last November. “They singled her out, Warren later acknowledged, because she had listed herself as a minority in an Association of American Law Schools directory.”

A 1997 Fordham Law Review article identified the Democrat as Harvard Law’s “first woman of color.” Warren even submitted recipes to an American Indian cookbook called “Pow Wow Chow,” which was released in 1984 by the Five Civilized Tribes Museum in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She signed her entries “Elizabeth Warren — Cherokee.” (Read more from “Warren Finally Admits She Is Not Native American” HERE)

Elizabeth Warren Tries Once Again to Explain Her Claim to Be Native American — and It’s Hilarious

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who claimed to be Native American when a DNA study showed she has as little as .09% Indian blood, is still trying to explain away her assertion.

Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat running for re-election who President Trump has dubbed “Pocahontas” for her claim, released the results of the DNA test on Sunday with about three weeks to go before Election Day in an attempt to “begin deflecting the constant taunting from the president and her Senate challengers,” The Boston Globe reported.

“I have an election,” Warren said. “Donald Trump goes in front of crowds multiple times a week to attack me. Both of my opponents have made the same attack. I got this analysis back, and I made it public.”

The move turned out to be a PR disaster. While the mainstream media happily went along with the notion that 1/1,024 heritage actually makes someone Native American, many mocked Warren for the bizarre claim. Trump himself joined in, writing on Twitter: “Now that her claims of being of Indian heritage have turned out to be a scam and a lie, Elizabeth Warren should apologize for perpetrating this fraud against the American Public. Harvard called her ‘a person of color’ (amazing con), and would not have taken her otherwise!”

. . .

“There’s a distinction between citizenship and ancestry. I wish I had been more mindful of that distinction,” she told the Globe. “The tribes and only the tribes determine citizenship. It’s their right as a matter of sovereignty, and they exercise that in the ways they choose to exercise it. I respect that distinction.” (Read more from “Elizabeth Warren Tries Once Again to Explain Her Claim to Be Native American — and It’s Hilarious” HERE)

Report: Elizabeth Warren’s Ancestors May Have Actually Helped Slaughter Indians

For over a quarter of a century, Elizabeth Warren has described herself as a Native American. When recently asked to provide evidence of her ancestry, she pointed to an unsubstantiated claim on an 1894 Oklahoma Territory marriage license application by her great-great grand uncle William J. Crawford that his mother, O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandmother, was a Cherokee.
After researching her story, it is obvious that her “family lore” is just fiction.

As I pointed out in my article here on Sunday, no evidence supports this claim. O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford had no Cherokee heritage, was listed as “white” in the Census of 1860, and was most likely half Swedish and half English, Scottish, or German, or some combination thereof. (Note, the actual 1894 marriage license makes no claim of Cherokee ancestry.)

But the most stunning discovery about the life of O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford is that her husband, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandfather, was apparently a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee–the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837.

This new information about Ms. Warren’s true heritage came as a direct result of a lead provided to me by William Jacobson over at Legal Insurrection, who in turn had received the information from one of his readers. Jacobson, who has questioned Warren’s explanation for her law faculty listing, calls this discovery “the ultimate and cruelest irony” of the Warren Cherokee saga. . .

These were the troops responsible for removing Cherokee families from homes they had lived in for generations in the three states that the Cherokee Nations had considered their homelands for centuries: Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. FLASHBACK: Warren Said Her Parents Eloped Because of Racism Against Her Mom’s Native American Ancestry

In a June 29, 2012 interview with NECN’s Jim Braude on the BroadSide television program, Elizabeth Warren stated that her parents had to elope in 1932 because her father’s parents objected to her mother’s Cherokee and Delaware ancestry. Warren stated:

Actually, you have it wrong about what it is I believe. My mom and dad were very much in love with each other and they wanted to get married and my father’s parents said absolutely not. You can’t marry her because she’s part Cherokee and she’s part Delaware. And um, after fighting it as long as they could, my parents went off, they eloped. It was an issue in our family the whole time I grew up about these two families. It was an issue still raised at my mother’s funeral. So what I know about my parents is I know that in that little town they grew up in that my father’s parents knew enough about my mother and her family to say I have no doubts.”

With the latest news of the results from Warren’s DNA test, which show that the part of her DNA derived from so-called “Native American” ancestry is between 1/64th and 1/1,024th, and that that ancestry is actually Mexican, Peruvian, and Colombian, it might be useful to consider if Warren’s story about the supposed prejudice of her grandparents might be made out of whole cloth.

One determined researcher, Cherokee genealogist Twila Barnes, did some background checking, and found some interesting tidbits that led her and her team to suggest that the marriage of Warren’s parents was a typical marriage from the era of the Great Depression, and not an elopement triggered by racial bias. First, the marriage was performed by a prominent minister who later helped found Southern Methodist University, not a justice of the peace.

Another tidbit: Warren’s father only turned 21, the legal age to marry in Oklahoma at the time roughly two months before the wedding, so the idea that the couple fought it “as long as they could” sounds a bit stretched, since once her father turned 21 it was legal for him to marry.

Watch: Reporter Explains How Elizabeth Warren Just Destroyed the Democrats’ Biggest Asset

On Fox News Monday, Greg Gutfeld unpacked the true significance of Democratic presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren’s attempt to use an analysis of her DNA to prove that she did, possibly, have a Native American ancestor — some six to ten generations ago.

In a monologue on “The Five” (below), Gutfeld concluded that Warren’s 1/1,024th “Native ancestry” just destroyed the Democrats’ go-to political ploy: identity politics.

“Her results now become the standard for anyone choosing a past that offers an edge — who can now skip ahead in admissions or jobs — in places where diversity trumps experience,” he said. “And so, DNA tests becomes the new affirmative action. But at whose expense? Maybe no one. Because if we’re all a little oppressed, we’re all good. Goodbye identity politics! If everyone is a minority, then nobody is.” . . .

“So her Native American ancestry may date back 6 to 10 generations,” he said. “She’s potentially one-one thousand and twenty fourth Indian – which is 0.09 percent. Using such standards, I’m Asian — which is why I can’t get into Harvard.”

He then boiled down the real point of the debate: “Did she or did she not list herself as a minority in law school directories, when it suited her, then remove it when it didn’t?” he said. “It’s not about her background. It’s about cheating. She’s a white woman of vast European ancestry, who went to the buffet of identity politics and took seconds, and thirds. Warren is Native American because she said so.”
