Elizabeth Warren Finds an Unlikely Ally in Ted Cruz

One of Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) main talking points over the last few weeks has been about the monopoly technology websites, like Facebook, Google and Amazon have. In her mind, it sets a dangerous precedent for censoring public debate.

Recently, Warren’s presidential campaign had ads on Facebook talking about her stance on breaking up big tech monopolies, and in particular, Facebook (yes, it is ironic). The social media giant responded by pulling the ads. Eventually, the ads were restored but the whole debacle proves Warren’s point.

For years, conservatives have said that our speech is being stifled. They’ve “shadow banned” us to keep us from making our voices heard, all in hopes of permanently silencing us. People who disagree or call out big tech are often suspended from the website or their interactions/mentions are limited. Think of how many people have been banned from Twitter, YouTube and Facebook alone. Alex Jones. Laura Loomer. Jacob Wohl. Whether or not you agree with their politics, positions or statements, one thing is for sure: they’ve been silenced for not agreeing with the company’s leadership.

No Surprise: Warren Is Fundraising off Cohen’s Testimony but There’s One Catch

Not long after Michael Cohen testified in front of the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Wednesday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) decided to fundraise off Cohen’s testimony. She sent an email to supporters asking them to sign a petition urging President Donald Trump and future presidents to not pardon anyone connected to the Russia probe, The Hill reported.

“Under oath and in an open session of Congress, one of Donald Trump’s most trusted advisors implicated him in criminal activity while he’s been in the White House,” the email read. “Our criminal justice system is hanging on and doing its job – the truth is coming out – despite unprecedented, relentless, and potentially illegal pressure from Donald Trump and his associates in and out of government. But here’s the biggest threat right now: Donald Trump, or the next President, using the pardon power to cover up and permanently excuse this wrongdoing.”

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) sent out a similar fundraising email to supports, saying “Michael Cohen’s testimony makes this clear: Trump is a threat to our country. It’s up to us to make him a one-term president.” (Read more from “No Surprise: Warren Is Fundraising off Cohen’s Testimony but There’s One Catch” HERE)

There Is at Least One Tribe Willing to Accept Elizabeth Warren as a Member

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s claims of Native American ancestry and tribal affiliation will likely follow her for the entirety of her presidential campaign. But, there is at least one “tribe” that’s willing to accept her, according to The Washington Free Beacon. . .

The Una Nation in Oregon is a “mixed-blood” tribe that has officially invited Warren to join.

“If she’s Native American, or of Native American descent, that means she’s a mixed-blood, and we stand by her and her statement that she is part-Native American,” said Richard B. Lake, the 29-year-old leader of the tribe. . .

“We’re granting her, as a gift, enrollment in the Una Nation,” said Lake, who also goes by King Richard II Ziwahatan. “When she’s asked next if she’s a member of the tribe, hopefully she’ll be able to say proudly she’s a member of the Una Nation, who accept me for who I am.”

After publicizing the results of a DNA test showing she was somewhere between 1/64 and 1/1024 Native American to prove President Donald Trump wrong, Warren apologized to Native Americans, including the Cherokee tribe, for her claims, which she has said were based on her “understanding from my family’s stories.” (Read more from “There Is at Least One Tribe Willing to Accept Elizabeth Warren as a Member” HERE)

WATCH: Elizabeth Warren Confronted at Campaign Stop for Lying About Native American Heritage

By The Blaze. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who is running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, was reminded once again during a campaign stop in Georgia over the weekend that she lied about having Native American heritage.

While speaking at a campaign stop outside Atlanta, a heckler shouted over Warren seeking answers as to why she, for decades, lied about her heritage. . .

According to witnesses, security escorted the heckler out of the Central Gwinnett High School gymnasium as Warren continued on with her speech. The crowd cheered and shouted Warren’s name as security handled the man.

Washington Free Beacon editor David Rutz reported that the heckler was holding a “1/2020” sign, a reference to Warren’s minuscule Native American heritage.

It’s not clear if she ever addressed why she lied about having Native American heritage. However, she told local Atlanta news station WSB-TV afterward that she “shouldn’t have done it,” referring to lying about her background. Elizabeth Warren Heckled at Georgia Campaign Stop

By Fox News. Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., was once again reminded that she exaggerated her Native American ancestry and was heckled during a campaign stop in Georgia.

While introducing herself to a crowd of about 1,000 supporters in a Lawrenceville high school, a man shouted “Why did you lie?” Warren replied back “Be easy, be easy,” while the crowd chanted her name and clapped. . .

The test revealed she could be anywhere between 1/64th and 1/1,204th Native American. In early February, she apologized to the Cherokee Nation for taking the test, which angered some tribal leaders who felt that being apart of the nation was rooted in centuries of culture and laws, not through DNA tests.

The incident came just days after Warren suggested President Trump “may not even be a free person” in 2020. (Read more from “Elizabeth Warren Heckled at Georgia Campaign Stop” HERE)

Elizabeth Warren Claimed American Indian Heritage In Texas State Bar Application

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) claimed American Indian ancestry in her application for the State Bar of Texas, according to a new report documenting the previously undisclosed example of Warren claiming American Indian ancestry.

“Warren filled out the card by hand in neat blue ink and signed it,” The Washington Post reported. “Dated April 1986, it is the first document to surface showing Warren making the claim in her own handwriting. Her office didn’t dispute its authenticity.”

The Post notes that this latest revelation is likely to cause problems for Warren because Democrats “want a nominee who can move beyond any problems in their past and present a strong challenge to President Trump.”

“The Texas bar registration card is significant, among other reasons, because it removes any doubt that Warren directly claimed the identity,” the Post added. “In other instances, Warren has declined to say whether she or an assistant filled out forms.” . . .

“The date Warren reported herself as minority in the directory every year starting in 1986 — when AALS first included a list of minority law professors — to 1995, when her name dropped off the list,” The Post continued. “Warren also had her ethnicity changed from white to Native American in December 1989 while working at the University of Pennsylvania. The change came two years after she was hired there.” (Read more from “Watch: President Trump Recognizes D-Day Heroes at State of the Union Address” HERE)

Warren’s First Week on the Stump Filled With Missteps

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren kicked off her 2020 presidential campaign with a series of awkward gaffes and lingering questions about her alleged Native American ancestry.

The day Warren announced she was launching an exploratory committee for a 2020 bid, she appeared on Instagram Live with her husband, Bruce Mann. In the video, Warren attempts to appear folksy as she tells viewers, “Hold on a sec, I’m gonna get me, um, a beer.” . . .

Warren’s first week on the campaign trail has also been plagued with fallout from her decision in October to release a DNA test showing she is somewhere between 1/64th and 1/1,024th Native American. The Cherokee Nation immediately slammed Warren for releasing the test, stating, “Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong.”

The DNA test was supposed to put to rest the rumors that Warren had embellished her Native American ancestry or somehow used it to get ahead in her career. It was also meant to silence the president’s favorite nickname for the Harvard Law professor — “Pocahontas.” Instead, months later, Warren is still answering questions about her perceived connection to tribal ancestry. . .

Despite the website’s insistence that Warren’s claims to Native American ancestry are not problematic, the senator spent her first week on the campaign trail seemingly making amends to tribal nations. On Thursday night, Warren attended a special reception ceremony for the first Native American women to be elected to Congress. One Way Elizabeth Warren Thinks She’s Obama

By The Daily Caller. Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s website for her presidential exploratory committee attempts to link questions about her claims of Native American heritage to people who questioned whether former President Barack Obama was born in the United States.

Warren launched the committee Monday, including a website with a “fact squad” meant to push back against criticisms of the senator.

Warren’s website blames “the right-wing machine” for scrutiny of her heritage claims. . .

“Show us your papers. Release your birth certificate. It’s all part of the right’s disgusting effort to use race-baiting and fear-mongering to distract our country and divide our people while they rig the system for the rich and powerful,” Warren’s site claims.

It also displays a photoshopped image of Obama behind Warren that reads: “Don’t worry Liz, I think we fooled them.” (Read more from “One Way Elizabeth Warren Thinks She’s Obama” HERE)

Warren Is Officially Launching 2020 Presidential Committee

By The Daily Caller. Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren announced on the last day of 2018 she is officially forming a presidential exploratory committee in a bid to run for the presidency in 2020.

“America’s middle class is under attack,” Warren said in the announcement video Monday. “How did we get here? Billionaires and big corporations decided they wanted more of the pie. And they enlisted politicians to cut them a bigger slice.”

Speculation regarding the Massachusetts senator’s presidential aspirations have been swirling for months. In June, she announced that she would not be running for president, however, less than three months later she seemingly flipped on her word, revealing she would, in fact, take a “hard look” at launching a presidential campaign following the midterms. During an interview leading up to her November election, Warren refused to commit to serving her full term in the Senate if re-elected.

Warren has also been quietly shopping for office space in the Boston area to headquarter her possible presidential campaign, according to a report earlier in December. And on Sunday night, she changed the name of her twitter account from “elizabethforma” to “ewarren,” removing her home state of Massachusetts. WATCH: Warren Dodges ‘Native American’ Question at Press Conference, Gets Mocked Over Announcement

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) dodged a question about her disastrous DNA test stunt at her press conference on Monday where she announced that she launched an exploratory committee for president.

“I never thought I would run for anything, ever, in my life, but America’s middle class is getting hollowed out, and opportunity for too many of our young people is shrinking,” Warren said. “So, I’m in this fight all the way. … I’m going to build a grassroots campaign. … Because this is how we’re going to build the movement that will change America.”

“What’s your message to the Democratic primary voter who says ‘I love where Senator Warren stands on the issues, but I worry about electability, I worry her campaign will be more about her Native American ancestry than the middle class?'” a reporter asked Warren.

“You know, look, I am in this fight because I understand what’s happening to working families,” Warren said, failing to address her DNA test debacle. “I grew up in a paycheck-to-paycheck family, and my big chance was a commuter college that cost $50 a semester.”

Hilarious: Trump Mocks Elizabeth Warren Over Potential Presidential Run

By Daily Wire. President Donald Trump mocked Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Monday when asked by Fox News’ Pete Hegseth if he thought Warren really believes that she has a chance of winning the presidential election in 2020.

“She did very badly in proving that she was of Indian heritage,” Trump said. “That didn’t work out too well. I think you have more than she does and maybe I do, too. And I have nothing. So, you know, we’ll see how she does. I wish her well. I hope she does well. I’d love to run against her.” . . .

Trump: Warren’s ‘Psychiatrist’ Knows Whether She Thinks She Can Win White House in 2020

By Fox News. In an exclusive interview aired during Fox News’ “All-American New Year” special Monday night, President Trump suggested that only U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s “psychiatrist” knows whether she thinks she can win the White House in 2020.

Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, announced Monday she is filing paperwork to launch an exploratory committee for president, becoming the first candidate to take the major step toward a 2020 run for the presidency.

Fox News’ Pete Hegseth asked Trump whether Warren really thinks she could make him a one-term president.

“Well, that I don’t know,” Trump responded. “You’d have to ask her psychiatrist.”

Warren, a liberal firebrand who rose to prominence during the 2008 financial crisis, angered many top Democrats and Native American groups in October by releasing inconclusive DNA test results in response to Trump’s claims that she repeatedly lied about her heritage to obtain affirmative-action benefits in the course of her academic career. Elizabeth Warren to Run for President as Weaker Version of Every Other Democrat

The stealth 2020 Democratic presidential primary has been underway for months, but things finally kicked into high gear Monday when Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., announced the creation of a presidential exploratory committee.

Forming an exploratory committee is the legal precursor to running for president, something Warren has been widely expected to do for years now. With her video announcement declaring that “America’s middle class is under attack,” the 2020 Democratic primary now begins in full force.

Warren is one of the first candidates to formally declare her intention to run, but she certainly won’t be the last, which raises a question about how she fits into a field that may be as large as 30 candidates.

Who exactly is Warren’s base? If she runs as an anti-billionaire populist champion of the little guy, doesn’t Bernie Sanders already fill that ideological space in the Democratic Party? She could run as a moderate or pragmatic Sanders-lite, but in its extreme opposition to President Donald Trump, the far-left Democratic base is the most active and is unlikely to coalesce around a moderate candidate. The Obama-establishment Democrats will line up behind Joe Biden’s candidacy, if he runs. And Warren’s gender identity as a woman won’t rack up enough intersectionality points against Kamala Harris, the half-black, half-Indian female senator from California. The youth vote, then? Warren is 69, and Beto O’Rourke’s young star is rising on the Left.

Warren creates problems for herself when she tries to occupy any of these spaces on the Left. In a transparent attempt at pandering to minorities, Warren labeled the entire American criminal justice system racist, drawing rebuke from law enforcement. The botched release of a DNA test that purported to show Warren has Native American heritage and counter Trump’s mockery backfired spectacularly and opened her up to attacks from the Left about faking minority heritage as a white woman. On the one hand, Warren claims she’s a “capitalist to my bones,” which upsets the socialist Left, and on the other hand she co-sponsored the nationalization of America’s health insurance system with Bernie Sanders and introduced a bill in Congress to nationalize everything else, which upsets the anti-Sanders Democrats.

Warren needs a base to win the Democratic nomination, and it has to be a bigger and more energized base than her rivals to be successful. As things stand now, it’s difficult to see where a viable base for her will come from.
