FBI Wants 20 Years to Produce Records on Its Involvement w/ OKC Bombing

It’s been about nine years since Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records about a CIA asset and FBI informant who helped fund the Oklahoma City bombing, as well as for records about a neo-Nazi bank-robbery gang also involved in the attack.

Tired of waiting, Trentaudue sued the FBI over the matter in February, demanding the bureau to produce the 69,375 pages of documents that it’s holding. But now, the FBI wants to take another nearly 12 years to fork over those documents to him, which means that it would take at least 20 years for the bureau to comply with his initial FOIA request.

Such a slow production rate is unacceptable, Trentadue said in a Tuesday court filing.

“The FBI proposes to process these records/documents for release to Plaintiff in monthly increments of 500 pages over a period of 11.5 years!” he said.

“If the Court accepts the FBI’s proposed snail-pace processing of these materials, Plaintiff will be close to 90-years of age when he finally receives all of them,” he said.

“He has already waited almost a decade for these documents/records, with the FBI having made no effort during the interim to produce them, and should not have to wait another 11.5 years to receive them.”

Trentadue has been suing the U.S. government for OKC bomb-related records for nearly 30 years, ever since his brother was murdered in a federal penitentiary. FBI Interrogates Co-Workers About Whistleblower’s Views On COVID Vax, Trump, And Second Amendment

The FBI Security Division questioned employees about a fellow agent’s views on COVID vaccines, Donald Trump, and a Second Amendment rally, according to whistleblower disclosures made to the Department of Justice’s Office of Inspector General on Saturday. This revelation raises more concerns that the FBI’s leadership has become hopelessly politicized and seeks to purge itself of agents with certain disfavored views.

Late Monday, The Federalist obtained a copy of the June 8, 2024, letter sent by Empower Oversight on behalf of its client, an unnamed whistleblower and now-retired FBI agent, to Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Enclosed with the letter were three separate interview forms used by the FBI Security Division in questioning co-workers about the whistleblower.

The preprinted document opened by stating that the Clearance Investigations Unit was conducting an administrative investigation regarding allegations that the agent had engaged in conduct that called into question his ability to maintain a top-secret security clearance. The introductory comments then informed the FBI employees that they had a duty to reply to the questions and that failure to reply fully could result in their own security clearances being revoked.

A series of questions followed, with co-workers quizzed on whether the agent under investigation had: “Vocalize[d] support for President Trump?” “Vocalized objection to COVID-19 vaccination?” “Vocalized intent to attend 1/6/2021?” The FBI Security Division also required co-workers to state whether they were aware the target of the investigation had attended the Richmond Lobby Day event, which is an annual Second Amendment rally in Virginia.

The Empower Oversight letter stressed the impropriety of these questions by quoting the Supreme Court’s pronouncement: “If there is any fixed star in our constitutional constellation, it is that no official, high or petty, can prescribe what shall be orthodox in politics, nationalism, religion or other matters of opinion or force citizens to confess by word or act their faith therein.” (Read more from “FBI Interrogates Co-Workers About Whistleblower’s Views On COVID Vax, Trump, And Second Amendment” HERE)

FBI Agent Accuses Top Brass of Retaliation for Defending Whistleblower

An FBI special agent notified Congress on Thursday that the top brass at the bureau removed him from his job in retaliation for defending a fellow whistleblower.

The agent, an attorney who worked as an adjudicator investigating misconduct within the FBI, said his superiors turned on him when he recommended ending the suspension of FBI agent Garrett O’Boyle.

Mr. O’Boyle has been at the center of a whistleblower saga since his security clearance was suspended in September 2022 for allegedly leaking information about a criminal investigation into Project Veritas.

The suspension without pay, which the FBI imposed after Mr. O’Boyle testified before the House Judiciary Committee’s panel on weaponization of the federal government, left him and his family financially ruined and homeless after the FBI yanked his security clearance and suspended him without pay.

The FBI adjudicator, who worked in the Security Division, known in the bureau as “SecD,” reviewed the O’Boyle case and recommended lifting the suspension and reinstating Mr. O’Boyle as an agent. Former Government Employee Charged With Falsely Accusing Coworkers of Participating in Jan. 6 Capitol Attack

A former government employee with ties to federal intelligence agencies was arrested in Virginia Thursday and accused of sending fake tips to the FBI in which he falsely accused multiple coworkers of taking part in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, newly unsealed court documents revealed.

Investigators alleged in court records that Miguel Zapata anonymously submitted information about seven individuals with whom he had once worked in the months after the attack, writing that they “espoused conspiracy theories” and “took part in the insurrection.”

According to prosecutors, between February and April 2021, Zapata allegedly concocted fake stories about his former coworkers’ involvement in the events of Jan. 6 and submitted them via the FBI’s anonymous tip line that has been used to gather information following the Capitol breach. Over 1,300 individuals have so far been charged for their alleged involvement.

“These tips variously alleged that the government employees and contractors were physically present at or involved in the attack at the Capitol or had shared classified information with individuals and groups present at the riot with the intent to assist these groups in overthrowing the United States government,” charging documents said.

Zapata is accused of sending the home addresses, full names, and security clearance levels of his former colleagues to the FBI, which prompted the FBI and some of the victims’ employers to launch investigations into their alleged conduct based on the faulty information. FBI Director Accused of Hypocrisy for Monitoring Conservatives but Not Pro-Hamas Protests

The director of the FBI is being accused of hypocrisy for allowing the targeting of concerned parents, Trump supporters, and American Catholics but not “monitoring” pro-Hamas rallies and protests on college campuses.

Director Christopher Wray was asked in an interview on Tuesday about “actively monitoring” the rallies erupting across college and university campuses, which have become the subject of controversy and condemnation from even senior government officials. Wray replied, “We don’t monitor protests.” He added, “But we do share intelligence about specific threats of violence.”

Social media users reacted, accusing Wray of hypocrisy. Conservative podcast host Graham Allen quoted Wray saying, “We don’t monitor protests,” and wrote:

Wray Warns China Getting Positioned to Attack American Infrastructure’

The chief of the FBI is warning that China already has “burrowed” into critical infrastructure in the United States and now is just waiting for “the right moment to deal a devastating blow.”

The FBI’s Christopher Wray said in a Reuters report that an ongoing hacking campaign, known already as Volt Typhoon, has gained access to American telecommunications, energy, water and other companies, including pipeline operators.

Wray charged China is assembling the “ability to physically wreak havoc on our critical infrastructure at a time of its choosing. … Its plan is to land low blows against civilian infrastructure to try to induce panic.”

The report explained, “Wray said it was difficult to determine the intent of this cyber pre-positioning which was aligned with China’s broader intent to deter the U.S. from defending Taiwan.”

That is a fast-developing conflict that has the potential to draw the United States into a fight on the other side of the globe. FBI Opens Criminal Probe Into Baltimore Bridge Collapse: Reports

The FBI has opened a criminal investigation into the ship crash that caused a deadly bridge collapse in Baltimore last month, according to multiple reports on Monday.

Sources told The Washington Post the federal inquiry is reviewing events leading up to the collision, including whether the crew left port knowing the transport had problems with its systems.

The vessel’s owner, operators, and attorneys did not immediately respond to the news outlet’s request for comment.

Federal agents appeared to be on the ship conducting a search on Monday morning. The bureau acknowledged in a statement that agents were on the Dali performing “court authorized law enforcement activity.”

Former FBI Deputy Director Acknowledges Errors in Trump FISA Scandal

Andrew McCabe, the former FBI Deputy Director, admitted on Thursday that the bureau made “many mistakes” in its handling of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) applications related to Carter Page, an aide to former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

During a CNN interview, McCabe, who now serves as a CNN law enforcement analyst, defended FISA’s Section 702 while responding to Trump’s criticism of the program. Trump had called for the termination of FISA, alleging that it was used to spy on his campaign.

McCabe acknowledged the errors in the FISA application targeting Carter Page, stating that there were “many mistakes” in the process. He emphasized the distinction between Section 702 and the specific FISA application related to Page, which faced criticism for its reliance on an unverified dossier.

In 2018, McCabe was fired from the FBI by the Trump Department of Justice, just hours before his retirement, over allegations of “lack of candor” regarding disclosures to the media. McCabe filed a lawsuit contesting his firing, claiming it was politically motivated, and ultimately reached a settlement in 2021 that restored his pension and benefits.

The debate over FISA’s reauthorization has intensified in Congress, with some lawmakers pushing for reforms to protect the privacy of U.S. citizens. FBI Director Christopher Wray has defended Section 702 authorities as “critical” for national security, while House Speaker Mike Johnson argued that the proposed reforms would address past abuses.

Despite opposition from a bipartisan group of lawmakers, the House blocked consideration of a reauthorization bill for Section 702 just days before its expiration.

Was It an “Accident?” Intel Sources Claim Baltimore Bridge Collapse Was “Absolutely Brilliant Strategic Attack”; FBI Says No Foul Play

By The Gateway Pundit. Early this morning, the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, MD, collapsed after a cargo ship collided with a support column, causing the bridge to collapse. The Francis Scott Key Bridge is a significant commuter route carrying the Baltimore Beltway I-695 over the Patapsco River at the southern end of the Baltimore Harbor.

There are no official reports on casualties yet; however, there are unconfirmed cars in the water and reports of several construction workers unaccounted for. As of just before 5 a.m. EDT, rescue crews have not pulled anyone out of the water. A road crew was fixing potholes on the bridge at the time. Two people were rescued from the water. One was not injured; the other was seriously hurt and was hospitalized. Search efforts are underway for six others who are missing.

In the video below, the ship’s lights can be seen going off and then on again as it appears to pass by the support column. Suddenly and inexplicably, the lights on the cargo ship are turned back on as the ship appears to turn toward the support column and hits it head-on.

The entire span of the bridge immediately collapses IN FRONT of the ship. There have been no reported injuries to any crew members on the cargo ship.

There are many questions surrounding the crash, especially regarding the alleged power outages the cargo ship was experiencing only moments before the crash. The mainstream media continues to report that the curious collision was “an accident.”

No Indication of Terrorism in Baltimore Bridge Collapse, Says FBI

By Breitbart. There is no “credible indication” of terrorism involved in the demise of the Francis Scott Key Bridge after it snapped at around 01:30 local time Tuesday following a container ship crashing into it.

The landmark structure in the U.S. city of Baltimore collapsed into the Patapsco River in the aftermath; however, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has made clear that “the preliminary investigation points to an accident. We haven’t seen any credible evidence of a terrorist attack.”

Senator: FBI Director ‘Confirmed to Me’ a Trafficking Network Exists That Smuggles ISIS-Linked People Into U.S.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said over the weekend that FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed to him that a trafficking network exists that smuggles illegal aliens into the U.S. who have ties to ISIS.

Rubio made the remarks during a Sunday interview on ABC News’ “This Week” while discussing ISIS-K’s devastating terrorist attack in Moscow late last week, which killed well over a hundred people.

“ISIS-K, ISIS-Khorasan, is largely the Afghan-wing of ISIS,” Rubio said. “It’s reconstituted itself as we warned would happen when we had this disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. One of the reasons why we didn’t want to withdraw precipitously is because you gave them operating space to reorganize themselves and plan externally. And since that time, they’ve attacked inside of Afghanistan.”

Rubio noted that ISIS-K was responsible for the deadly suicide blast that left 13 American service members dead at Kabul International Airport back in 2021 during President Joe Biden’s disastrous withdraw from the country.
