Trump Assassination Attempt: FBI Reveals First Photos of Thomas Crooks’ Firearm, IEDs in Car Trunk

The FBI on Wednesday provided additional details about would-be Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’ activity before and during the July 13 campaign rally that left one man dead.

While the FBI has not established a definitive motive for the shooter or any co-conspirators with advanced knowledge of the attack, Kevin Rojek, special agent in charge of the FBI Pittsburgh Field Office, told reporters during a press call that Crooks had “a sustained detailed effort to plan an attack on some event, meaning he looked at any number of events or targets.”

The 20-year-old gunman “became hyper-focused” on Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, when it was announced in early July. He had no identifiable political ideology, Rojek added.

Over the month leading up to the attack, Crooks made more than 60 searches related to both President Biden and former President Trump. In late September 2023, an account associated with Crooks “searched the former president’s campaign schedule and upcoming appearances in Pennsylvania,” Rojek said.

FBI Raids Home of Ex-UN Weapons Inspector & Anti-War Pundit Scott Ritter

On Wednesday the upstate New York home of Scott Ritter was raided by the FBI and state police. The FBI has since confirmed in a statement that this is part of an ongoing federal investigation into Ritter.

Agents were seen entering his house in Delmar, NY in widely shared photographs and local media footage in the afternoon. It was unclear if Ritter was at home at the time and the allegations at the center of the investigation remain unknown.

“I can confirm FBI personnel are at a home on Dover [Drive] conducting law enforcement activity in connection with an ongoing federal investigation,” a statement from the FBI’s Albany office confirmed. “As the investigation is ongoing, [Department of Justice] policy prevents me from commenting further.”

Ritter became a prominent figure as the chief UN weapons inspector in the 1990s in Iraq and ex-intelligence official (Marine Corp intelligence) who publicly opposed the George W. Bush administration’s drive to take the United States into war with Iraq.

He subsequently became a popular anti-war pundit and leading critic of US foreign policy. For an example of his ongoing criticisms of the US government and foreign policy, he wrote in 2019, “I love my country, but the collective ignorance of the American people empowers so-called public servants who abuse their positions of trust to push policies that further individual agendas at the expense of the nation they ostensibly serve. Fact-based logic no longer matters.”

More recently he has been a fierce critic of US policy related to the war in Ukraine, having also made several trips to Russia during the course of the war which began in February 2022.

Why Does the FBI Keep Lying About the Attempted Assassination of Trump?

If you lie to Congress under oath, you go to jail. The rules are simple, and they certainly apply to conservatives. Steve Bannon is currently serving a prison sentence for contempt of Congress because he refused to testify in a politically motivated inquiry centered on the events of January 6, 2021. However, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Director Paul Abbate have both blatantly lied to Congress about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. Neither of these men hesitated to lie; neither do they expect to face consequences for their flagrant disregard for the truth.

The FBI is a dangerous rogue agency that regularly acts with political malice to harm the opponents of the Democratic Party. The agency now appears to be involved in a coordinated misinformation campaign surrounding the shooting of a former president, and it does not expect anyone to hold it accountable.

When the iconic photo of a bloodied Trump pumping his fist after a failed assassination attempt first appeared, progressives reacted by immediately spinning out several conspiracy theories. The heroic image of the former president simply could not exist alongside the left’s conception of Trump as a cowardly con man stoking the resentment of white Americans to make a few dollars.

At first, the hysterical social media mob concocted an elaborate narrative about the Great Orange Hitler paying a skilled sharpshooter to graze his ear, creating a bloody but nonlethal spectacle that would become the new Reichstag fire to usher in an authoritarian regime. This fiction proved too absurd even for rabid and delusional Trump-haters, so a new theory emerged: It was broken glass, not a bullet, that ultimately struck the real estate tycoon. Elon Musk: “Sure Looks Like the FBI Leadership is Engaged in Perjury” with Regard to Trump Assassination

The FBI is now claiming that the Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks had an unspecified “social media account” in 2019/2020 (when he was 14/15 years old) that posted “anti-immigrant and anti-semitic” content.

This is not consistent with Gab’s understanding of the shooter’s motives based on an Emergency Disclosure Request (“EDR”) we received from the FBI last week for the Gab account “EpicMicrowave” which, based on the content of that EDR, the FBI appeared to think belonged to Thomas Crooks.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to Elon Musk for highlighting this important story.

Many, particularly regime media reporters, have doubted Gab’s claims that this request existed. Normally we don’t confirm the existence or content of law enforcement communications. In this instance we had to make an exception due to the overwhelming public interest in disclosure and transparency.

The story is this: the account for which data was requested was, UNEQUIVOCALLY, pro-Biden and in particular pro-Biden’s immigration policy.

To the best of Gab’s knowledge, as of 2021, Crooks was a pro-lockdown, pro-immigration, left-wing Joe Biden supporter.

We are disclosing this information at significant personal and business risk. If the past is any guide, defying the D.C. consensus by publishing the first definitive evidence that the shooter was a Biden supporter – something Democrats and their media allies have tried to cover up and deny at every turn – has a high probability of resulting in significant political and media backlash.

In the past, we have been the target of politically motivated inquiries from both the House Oversight Committee and the Joint Committee on the January 6th Attacks, both of which sought to interfere with our mission of protecting free speech online. Corrupt U.S. Drugs Agents Boasted of Using Prostitutes on ‘World Debauchery Tour’

Corrupt US drugs enforcement agents boasted about being on a “world debauchery tour” of “boozing and whoring”, leaked conversations show.

Officers traded lurid sexual images, discussed hiring prostitutes and joked about rape in WhatsApp messages obtained as part of an FBI criminal misconduct investigation.

The group chat from 2017 included five Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents, one of whom remains with the agency today.

The agents in the group chat led a undercover money laundering operation codenamed Whitewash, criticised in a blistering internal audit after it was shut down in 2017.

Confirmed: FBI Security Clearances Suspended for Agents’ Wrong Beliefs

A new whistleblower, this one a Democrat, has pulled back the curtain on the extent of corruption within the FBI, confirming that agents’ security clearances were suspended for having the wrong beliefs.

Those would include the wrong political beliefs, the wrong medical beliefs or even the ethnicity views of the agent, according to reports.

A report from the Daily Signal explained Tristan Leavitt, chief of Empower Oversight, told Congress on behalf of the whistleblower, “The client—a registered Democrat—witnessed firsthand as an SSA [supervisory special agent] how the FBI’s Security Division improperly suspended or revoked employees’ security clearances whose political views, medical views, or even ethnicity were questioned by Security Division leadership.” . . .

Specifically, the Democrat charges the FBI chiefs with targeting employees who supported President Donald Trump or opposed those COVID-19 shots that now have proven to have injured thousands of people.

“If an FBI employee fit a certain profile as a political conservative, they were viewed as security concerns and unworthy to work at the FBI,” the whistleblower’s lawyer, Leavitt, wrote Horowitz in requesting an independent investigation. New Whistleblower Report Corroborates Charges of FBI Retaliation

The House Judiciary Committee received a new whistleblower complaint Tuesday morning corroborating previous reports of political retaliation within the FBI.

On Friday, attorneys sent a complaint for an anonymous supervisory special agent (SSA) to the Justice Department inspector general and the department’s Office of Professional Responsibility. The complainant, who is a registered Democrat and has won awards as an agent for work against child trafficking, reports witnessing colleagues within the FBI experience political retribution. The whistleblower also claimed to have been retaliated against. The complaints were submitted to the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government and shared with The Federalist.

According to the disclosures, the latest whistleblower “witnessed firsthand as an SSA how the FBI’s Security Division improperly suspended or revoked employees’ security clearances whose political views, medical views, or even ethnicity were questioned by Security Division leadership.”

“The outcomes of clearance investigations and adjudications were often pre-determined by the Division’s acting Deputy Assistant Director and the acting Section Chief responsible for security clearance investigations and adjudications, who often overruled line staff and even dictated the wording of documents in the clearance process,” the disclosure read.

The special agent in question was suspended last year after serving half a decade as an SSA since 2018. Protected disclosures were particularly made against Jeffrey Veltri, the acting deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Security Division, and Dena Perkins, the acting section chief for the Security Integrity and Investigations Section. FBI Wants 20 Years to Produce Records on Its Involvement w/ OKC Bombing

It’s been about nine years since Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records about a CIA asset and FBI informant who helped fund the Oklahoma City bombing, as well as for records about a neo-Nazi bank-robbery gang also involved in the attack.

Tired of waiting, Trentaudue sued the FBI over the matter in February, demanding the bureau to produce the 69,375 pages of documents that it’s holding. But now, the FBI wants to take another nearly 12 years to fork over those documents to him, which means that it would take at least 20 years for the bureau to comply with his initial FOIA request.

Such a slow production rate is unacceptable, Trentadue said in a Tuesday court filing.

“The FBI proposes to process these records/documents for release to Plaintiff in monthly increments of 500 pages over a period of 11.5 years!” he said.

“If the Court accepts the FBI’s proposed snail-pace processing of these materials, Plaintiff will be close to 90-years of age when he finally receives all of them,” he said.

“He has already waited almost a decade for these documents/records, with the FBI having made no effort during the interim to produce them, and should not have to wait another 11.5 years to receive them.”

Trentadue has been suing the U.S. government for OKC bomb-related records for nearly 30 years, ever since his brother was murdered in a federal penitentiary. FBI Interrogates Co-Workers About Whistleblower’s Views On COVID Vax, Trump, And Second Amendment

The FBI Security Division questioned employees about a fellow agent’s views on COVID vaccines, Donald Trump, and a Second Amendment rally, according to whistleblower disclosures made to the Department of Justice’s Office of Inspector General on Saturday. This revelation raises more concerns that the FBI’s leadership has become hopelessly politicized and seeks to purge itself of agents with certain disfavored views.

Late Monday, The Federalist obtained a copy of the June 8, 2024, letter sent by Empower Oversight on behalf of its client, an unnamed whistleblower and now-retired FBI agent, to Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Enclosed with the letter were three separate interview forms used by the FBI Security Division in questioning co-workers about the whistleblower.

The preprinted document opened by stating that the Clearance Investigations Unit was conducting an administrative investigation regarding allegations that the agent had engaged in conduct that called into question his ability to maintain a top-secret security clearance. The introductory comments then informed the FBI employees that they had a duty to reply to the questions and that failure to reply fully could result in their own security clearances being revoked.

A series of questions followed, with co-workers quizzed on whether the agent under investigation had: “Vocalize[d] support for President Trump?” “Vocalized objection to COVID-19 vaccination?” “Vocalized intent to attend 1/6/2021?” The FBI Security Division also required co-workers to state whether they were aware the target of the investigation had attended the Richmond Lobby Day event, which is an annual Second Amendment rally in Virginia.

The Empower Oversight letter stressed the impropriety of these questions by quoting the Supreme Court’s pronouncement: “If there is any fixed star in our constitutional constellation, it is that no official, high or petty, can prescribe what shall be orthodox in politics, nationalism, religion or other matters of opinion or force citizens to confess by word or act their faith therein.” (Read more from “FBI Interrogates Co-Workers About Whistleblower’s Views On COVID Vax, Trump, And Second Amendment” HERE)

FBI Agent Accuses Top Brass of Retaliation for Defending Whistleblower

An FBI special agent notified Congress on Thursday that the top brass at the bureau removed him from his job in retaliation for defending a fellow whistleblower.

The agent, an attorney who worked as an adjudicator investigating misconduct within the FBI, said his superiors turned on him when he recommended ending the suspension of FBI agent Garrett O’Boyle.

Mr. O’Boyle has been at the center of a whistleblower saga since his security clearance was suspended in September 2022 for allegedly leaking information about a criminal investigation into Project Veritas.

The suspension without pay, which the FBI imposed after Mr. O’Boyle testified before the House Judiciary Committee’s panel on weaponization of the federal government, left him and his family financially ruined and homeless after the FBI yanked his security clearance and suspended him without pay.

The FBI adjudicator, who worked in the Security Division, known in the bureau as “SecD,” reviewed the O’Boyle case and recommended lifting the suspension and reinstating Mr. O’Boyle as an agent.
