The FBI Groomed a 16-Year-Old With “Brain Development Issues” to Become a Terrorist

Last week, the Department of Justice announced the arrest of a teenager in Massachusetts on allegations of providing financial support to the Islamic State group.

A flurry of reports picked up on the arrest of Mateo Ventura, an 18-year-old resident of the sleepy town of Wakefield, echoing government claims that an international terrorist financier and ISIS supporter had just been busted in the United States. The Department of Justice’s own press release on the case likewise trumpeted Ventura’s arrest for “knowingly concealing the source of material support or resources that he intended to go to a foreign terrorist organization.”

The only problem with the case and how it has been described, however, is that according to the government’s own criminal complaint, Ventura had never actually funded any terrorist group. The only “terrorist” he is accused of ever being in contact with was an undercover FBI agent who befriended him online as a 16-year-old, solicited small cash donations in the form of gift cards, and directed him not to tell anyone else about their intimate online relationship, including his family.

The arrest has shaken his family, who denied allegations that their son was a terrorist and said that he had been manipulated by the FBI. Ventura’s father, Paul Ventura, told The Intercept that Mateo suffered from childhood developmental issues and had been forced to leave his school due to bullying from other students.

“He was born prematurely, he had brain development issues. I had the school do a neurosurgery evaluation on him and they said his brain was underdeveloped,” Ventura said. “He was suffering endless bullying at school with other kids taking food off his plate, tripping him in the hallway, humiliating him, laughing at him.” (Read more from “The FBI Groomed a 16-Year-Old With “Brain Development Issues” to Become a Terrorist” HERE)

The CIA Is Begging Congress to Please Keep Spying on U.S. Citizens Legal

High-level officials from the CIA, FBI, and NSA are testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee today, asking Congress to continue allowing the agency to spy on the communications of US citizens. They are urging Congress to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)—one of the nation’s most hotly contested government surveillance programs. Intelligence agencies have long cited the powerful 2008 FISA provision as an invaluable tool to effectively combat global terrorism, but critics, including an increasing number of lawmakers from both parties, say those same agencies have morphed the provision into an unchecked, warrantless domestic spying tool. The provision is set to expire at the end of this year.

Federal agents urged lawmakers to reauthorize 702 without adding new reforms that could potentially slow down or impair operators’ access to intelligence. The officials danced around advocates’ concerns of civil liberty violations and instead chose to focus on a wide array of purported national security threats they say could become reality without the “model piece of legislation.” Multiple intelligence agents speaking Tuesday invoked the specter of September 11th and warned lawmakers new safeguards limiting agents’ ability to rapidly access and share intelligence on Americans could risk a repeat scenario.

“We must not forget the lessons learned from 911” DOJ National Security Division Assitant Attorney General Matt Olsen said. Olsen laid out the stakes of the hearing saying reauthorizing 702 as the “single most consequential national security decision this Congress can make.”

“The stakes cannot be higher,” he added.

Top senators on the committee meanwhile challenged the agencies and said it was vital to put in place new safeguards such as requiring warrants before searching US citizens’ records stored on the 702 databases. Senate Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin, during his opening statement, drew a hard line in the sand, vowing not to reauthorize the program without new constitutional safeguards. Senator Reveals FBI Informant File References 17 Biden Audio Recordings (VIDEO)

By Daily Wire. An FBI informant claims a foreign national has more than a dozen audio recordings of conversations with President Joe Biden and his son Hunter stemming from an alleged $5 million bribery scheme involving Ukraine, a U.S. senator revealed on Monday.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said an FD-1023 file in the FBI’s possession, which has been shown to members of the House Oversight Committee with redactions, makes reference to these recordings and should be revealed to the public. Grassley has been working with Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY), who has used subpoena power to pry more information from the FBI about the allegations.

“The 1023 produced to that House committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversation with them. Seventeen such recordings,” Grassley said in a speech on the Senate floor, noting he has seen the document with fewer redactions than what oversight panel members were given.

“According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses 15 audio recordings of phone calls between him and Hunter Biden,” Grassley said. “According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses two audio recordings of phone calls between him and then-vice president Joe Biden. These recordings were allegedly kept as a sort-of insurance policy for the foreign national in case he got into a tight spot.”

Burisma Boss in Alleged Biden Bribe Scheme Claims to Have 15 Taped Conversations With Hunter, 2 With Joe: Grassley

By New York Post. The FBI source who reported President Biden’s alleged role in a bribery scheme said that a Ukrainian businessman claimed to keep as “insurance” 15 audio recordings of first son Hunter Biden and two of Joe Biden, a Republican senator revealed Monday.

Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) made the staggering claim in a Senate floor speech after FBI Director Christopher Wray last week allowed House Oversight Committee members to see a redacted informant file about the claim that Hunter and then-Vice President Joe Biden received $5 million apiece to serve the interests of Burisma Holdings owner Mykola Zlochevsky.

“Congress still lacks a full and complete picture with respect to what that document really says. That’s why it’s important that the document be made public without unnecessary redactions for the American people to see,” said Grassley, accusing the bureau of needlessly redacting information about the recordings from the file shared with House lawmakers.

“Let me assist for purposes of transparency,” the 89-year-old went on. “The 1023 [form] produced to that House Committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. Seventeen total recordings. . .

The senator concluded: “So, as I’ve repeatedly asked since going public with the existence of the 1023, what, if anything, has the Justice Department and FBI done to investigate? The Justice Department and FBI must show their work. The FBI Bank Scandal Just Expanded

Bank of America may not be the only financial institution that voluntarily turned over mass amounts of customer data and transaction history to the FBI on and around January 6, 2021.

According to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust Chairman Thomas Massie, a slew of other banks may have also turned over private customer information requested by the FBI without a warrant. Those banks include Citigroup, PNC Financial Services, JPMorgan Chase & Company, Truist, Wells Fargo and U.S. Bankcorp.

“The Committee on the Judiciary and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government are conducting oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and its receipt of information about American citizens from private entities. An FBI whistleblower has disclosed that following the events at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, Bank of America (BoA) provided the FBI—voluntarily and without any legal process—with a list of individuals who had made transactions in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area with a BoA credit or debit card between January 5 and January 7, 2021,” Jordan and Massie wrote in a series of letters to executives at each bank. MTG Shares ‘Shocking’ Details After Viewing Biden Bribery Document

After the FBI caved for the second time in as many weeks and agreed to allow all members of the House Oversight Committee to view the unclassified report detailing allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) shared more “shocking” details she said were contained in the FBI’s FD-1023 report.

Greene explained that the information contained in the report is from a paid FBI informant who she called “extremely credible.” Referring to notes Greene said she took after leaving the SCIF in which she read the document, the congresswoman said — providing greater detail than has been shared publicly before — the report includes claims that there are financial records in existence showing two separate $5 million payments to “fix” a situation: one to Hunter Biden and one to, “specifically,” Joe Biden.

“Back in 2015-2016, Burisma was looking to buy a U.S.-based oil and gas company,” Greene said. “This came from being advised by Hunter Biden and his partners.”

Around the time then-Vice President Biden called Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin corrupt, Burisma “hired Hunter on the board ‘to make the problems go away,’ that’s what they specifically said,” Greene explained.

“Hunter advised that they could raise more money if [Burisma] bought a U.S. company, so the informant was trying to do the right thing and trying to advise Burisma that they shouldn’t go this route, they should hire an attorney, work out their problems that they were being investigated for — because they were having other legal problems, and that’s why they were being investigated by this prosecutor, Shokin,” MTG continued. James Comer Cancels Contempt Vote After FBI Caves on Alleged Biden Bribery Doc

Eleven hours before the House Oversight Committee would assemble to vote on holding FBI Director Wray in Contempt of Congress, the FBI agreed to permit members of the Oversight Committee to review an unclassified informant file that allegedly links President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme.

Wednesday evening, Comer canceled the 9 a.m. Thursday vote to hold Wray in contempt. In exchange, the FBI finally agreed to allow the members to review the document, a demand on which Comer insisted from nearly the beginning of the negotiations.

“After weeks of refusing to even admit the FD-1023 record exists,” the committee stated in a press release, “the FBI has caved and is now allowing all members of the Oversight and Accountability Committee to review this unclassified record that memorializes a confidential human source’s conversations with a foreign national who claimed to have bribed then-Vice President Joe Biden.”

In May, Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) levied bombshell claims after reviewing an FBI FD-1023 form that documented the informant’s allegations of an alleged bribery scheme involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Joe Biden and a foreign national.

Majority of Americans Want Corrupt FBI to Be Reformed or ‘Shut Down’

More than half of the nation, 63 percent, want the FBI to face some form of punishment for weaponizing its power against the American people to achieve political goals, a new poll from Issues & Insights and TIPP suggests.

The FBI’s years-long malfeasance — which includes misleading Congress, covering up corruption, manufacturing scandals, raiding the home of a former president, targeting innocent people based on their moral and political beliefs, and interfering in elections — is no secret to the majority of Americans who know the U.S. has a two-tiered system of justice.

The agency’s laundry list of deeply rooted corruption became even more obvious in recent weeks after Special Counsel John Durham confirmed there was never any evidence to sustain the agency’s “seriously flawed” Crossfire Hurricane investigation of “collusion” between then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russia.

‘Highly Credible’ Source Reveals Scandal Bigger Than Biden Bribery: FBI Election Interference

The confidential human source (CHS) behind the detailed allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden agreed to accept money from a foreign national to affect policy decisions was reportedly “highly credible” and used by the FBI in multiple criminal investigations dating back to the Obama administration. Friday’s exclusive by Fox News provides further insight into Sen. Chuck Grassley’s focus on the FBI — as opposed to the Biden family — as the primary scandal in play.

“We aren’t interested in whether or not the accusations against [then]-Vice President Biden are accurate,” Grassley said during an interview last week discussing FBI Director Christopher Wray’s refusal to comply with the congressional subpoena issued for the FD-1023 form. That form, dated June 30, 2020, included detailed information from a CHS to the FBI regarding an agreement by now-President Biden to deliver preferred foreign policy positions for a $5 million payment.

After Grassley revealed he had already seen the FD-1023, Fox News’ Bill Hemmer queried: “How damning is this document to the sitting U.S. president?”

“I don’t know,” responded Grassley, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He stressed that while “there’s accusations” in the FBI report, the congressional oversight committees’ concern is whether “the FBI does its job.” “That’s what we want to know,” he continued. . .

Yes, the CHS’s allegations offer more evidence of a Biden family pay-to-play scandal, and unraveling any criminal conduct by the Biden family remains important. But more significant to the future of our country is uncovering government actors responsible for violating the rule of law: America can survive select injustices, but it cannot withstand a corrupt bureaucracy that obstructs justice and interferes in elections. FBI Arrests Gymnastics Photographer on Charges of Possessing 500 Child Porn Images

The FBI has arrested a Michigan gymnastics photographer suspected of downloading and distributing child pornography, according to multiple reports.

David Yellen of Royal Oak was arrested last week after an FBI investigation concluded that child pornography had been transferred from his IP address, according to Fox-2 Detroit.

Authorities determined that, of the hundreds of photos discovered in Yellen’s possession, 14 files transferred online fit the legal definition of child pornography, the outlet reported.

FBI agents discovered the alleged files while investigating the transfer of child pornography through the use of BitTorrent – a peer-to-peer network which allows users to share and receive files en masse.

The agents then coordinated with Wide Open West internet to track down Yellen’s home address. A federal search warrant was executed on June 1 and Yellen was taken into custody.

FBI Director to Face Contempt of Congress Proceedings

On Monday, the top two lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee finally had the chance to review an FBI report brought to light by a whistleblower that contains information on allegations then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national.

After FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to comply with a subpoena from Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY), he was threatened with contempt charges from Congress. He tried offering lawmakers the opportunity to view the document at the FBI’s headquarters, but Comer didn’t compromise and Wray finally caved, somewhat, late last week, agreeing to bring the document to Capitol Hill to be reviewed and briefed to lawmakers.

However, after viewing the document, Chairman Comer and Oversight Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) didn’t agree on what they saw, raising even more questions.

In a statement, Comer said that “FBI officials confirmed that the unclassified, FBI-generated record has not been disproven and stated several times the information contained within it is currently being used in an ongoing investigation.” Comer added that the “confidential human source who provided information about then-Vice President Biden being involved in a criminal bribery scheme is a trusted, highly credible information who has been used by the FBI for years. These are facts and no amount of spin, and frankly lies, from the White House or Congressional Democrats can change this information,” Comer emphasized.
