FBI Source Alleging Biden Bribery Scheme Is ‘Highly Credible,’ Used by FBI Since Obama-Era: Report

The person who alerted U.S. lawmakers last month to the existence of an FBI record that allegedly shows that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme is a respected FBI source that has been used by the agency for years.

Fox News reported that a person familiar with the matter said the source has been “consistently reviewed by the FBI” and has been “found to be highly credible.”

The source has been used in multiple investigations dating back to the Obama-era.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said this week that FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed that the file containing the allegations does exist.

FBI Confirms Existence of File Allegedly Linking Joe Biden to $5M Bribery Scheme

The FBI confirmed the existence of an informant file the bureau refuses to provide Congress that allegedly links President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme, a confirmation the Justice Department previously did not deny, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed Wednesday.

Comer and FBI Director Christopher Wray conducted a scheduled meeting Wednesday in which the bureau chief confirmed the file’s existence. The file allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Biden and a foreign national. . .

“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national,” Comer said in a statement. “However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.”

FBI Director to Face Contempt Charges for Refusing to Turn Over Biden Bribery Document

The Republican Majority on the House Oversight Committee announced it would be taking further action against the Biden FBI on Tuesday after the agency again refused to provide unclassified documents responsive to a committee subpoena regarding an alleged criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national.

In a statement, Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had informed his committee “that it will not provide the unclassified documents subpoenaed by the Committee,” defying the House’s oversight powers on a matter of significant interest to members of Congress and the American people.

“The FBI’s decision to stiff-arm Congress and hide this information from the American people is obstructionist and unacceptable,” Comer continued. “While I have a call scheduled with FBI Director Wray tomorrow to discuss his response further, the Committee has been clear in its intent to protect Congressional oversight authorities and will now be taking steps to hold the FBI Director in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a lawful subpoena,” he explained. Why the FBI Raided a Florida Blogger’s Home This Month

With the many crises plaguing the Biden White House, especially the deadline for Congress to raise the debt ceiling, you might have missed the FBI raid on a blogger’s home. The twist is unlike past FBI raids targeting conservatives, former President Donald Trump especially, this happened to occur at the home of former Deadspin writer Tim Burke, who was responsible for exposing former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o’s fake girlfriend whose catfish tale became a source of national news and mockery. His wife, Lynn Hurtak, is a Tampa Bay City Council member.

The residence appears connected to a probe regarding alleged hacks at Fox News, though no one has been charged, nor have persons of interest been named. Those breaches center on the Tucker Carlson videos that Media Matters and other left-wing outlets tried to use in a character assassination plot against the former Fox News host. It fell flat because it was a nothing burger—what Carlson said wasn’t bad. The home was searched by the FBI earlier this month (via Tampa Bay Times):

FBI agents served a warrant at a home in Tampa earlier this month, and a small but remarkably consistent corner of the internet went dark. For well over a decade, fans of the Twitter account @bubbaprog could count on a stream of compelling and obscure sports clips, inscrutable cable news blunders and left-leaning critiques of politicians and pundits. The account posted nearly 134,000 times since 2008, or around 25 times daily to its 117,000 followers. Videos posted there frequently reached millions of views.

For sports and media obsessives with a taste for the wonkish and arcane, @bubbaprog, run by the longtime journalist and blogger Tim Burke, was a fountain of weird and timely content — sportscasters’ faces frozen in midword contortions, basketball fans epically failing at high-fives or a candid clip of Tucker Carlson between segments, talking about buying 200 tins of dipping tobacco…

Whistleblower Says FBI Has Created ‘Orwellian Atmosphere’ to Silence Dissent

An FBI whistleblower alleged that the bureau has created an “Orwellian atmosphere” that has silenced dissent and retaliated against individuals who came forward with claims about the law enforcement agency.

During Thursday’s House “Weaponization of Government” panel hearing, FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle said the bureau engaged in a “smear campaign” against him, adding in a later interview with Fox News there are many agents who support his allegations but are “too afraid” to speak out.

“Too many in the FBI aren’t willing to sacrifice for the hard right over the easy wrong. They see what becomes of whistleblowers, how the FBI destroys their careers, suspends them under false pretenses, takes their security clearance and pay with no true options for real recourse or remedy,” he said during last week’s committee hearing. “This is by design. It creates an Orwellian atmosphere that silences opposition and discussion.”

In response to a request for comment from The Epoch Times about the allegations, the FBI denied having acted in a retaliatory manner against whistleblowers. “The FBI’s mission is to uphold the Constitution and protect the American people,” an FBI spokesperson said last week. “The FBI has not and will not retaliate against individuals who make protected whistleblower disclosures.”

O’Boyle, Special Agent Stephen Friend, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst George Hill, Staff Operations Specialist Marcus Allen, as well as unnamed whistleblowers, have alleged that the FBI is beset by politicization and top officials are targeting agents for having conservative political beliefs, according to a Judiciary panel report. GOP Rep. Threatens to Cut FBI Funding After Whistleblower Testimony

Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan threatened Sunday to cut the FBI’s funding in the wake of FBI whistleblower testimony and Special Counsel John Durham’s report.

Jordan appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” to speak with host Maria Bartiromo about his plans for the FBI as Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

“What are you going to do about it? We just spoke with Kevin McCarthy about his call with Christopher Wray. It is what is is: Wray is still running the FBI. You’ve said you want to use the appropriations process to fix this. How will that fix things?” Bartiromo asked.

“Well, in the end, money always gets people’s attention. And so, what we’re going to have to do is say, ‘Hey, FBI, you can’t use federal tax dollars, you can’t use the American tax dollars for this kind of activity.’ We got to limit how they spend the money,” Jordan replied. FBI Whistleblower Report: Bank of America Gave Americans’ Banking Info to FBI Around January 6

A House Judiciary Committee report on FBI whistleblowers found that Bank of America provided the FBI a list of anyone who used their services in the D.C. area regardless of if they participated in the events of the January 6 protests.

The House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released an interim report on the government’s abuse, misallocation of resources, and retaliation.

Among the Judiciary Committee’s many revelations, FBI whistleblowers Garret O’Boyle, and retired FBI supervisory Intelligence George Hill testified about how Bank of America (BoA) gave the FBI’s Washington Field Office a list of individuals who had made transactions in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area with a BoA credit or debit card between January 5 and 7, 2021.

Hill also testified that individuals who had previously purchased a firearm with a BoA product were elevated to the top of the list provided to the FBI Washington Field Office, which was reported by Breitbart News’s Ashley Oliver. Whistleblower Issues Dark Warning to Fellow FBI Agents With Allegations of Wrongdoing

An FBI whistleblower said Thursday that he would not encourage other agents to come forward with allegations of wrongdoing, saying that their lives would be destroyed if they do so.

“I would tell them first to pray about it, long and hard,” FBI agent Garret O’Boyle said in response to a question about how he would advise a fellow agent who might want to disclose wrongdoing. “And I would tell them I could take it to Congress for them, or I could put them in touch with Congress. But I would advise them not to do it.”

O’Boyle had previously testified to the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government that an indefinite FBI suspension left him and his family temporarily homeless. The FBI held his personal belongings and refused to release them as he and his family moved from Kansas to Virginia, he said. O’Boyle has alleged that the bureau improperly inflated case metrics, and that it targeted anti-abortion groups.

Progressive Pro-Lifer’s Mom Gets a Home Visit From FBI Karens

Two female Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents descended upon the doorstep of Tracy Ketch, the mother of progressive pro-life activist Elise Ketch, last month. In a conversation publicized by The Daily Signal, the agents, Ashley Roberts and Kathleen Brown, asked Tracy if they could talk to Elise.

“We just need to speak with [Elise] regarding some information that was sent to us,” Roberts told Tracy. The agents asked for Elise’s address or phone number after learning she no longer lives at her mother’s house. “She’s not in any trouble,” Roberts said, adding that she couldn’t tell Tracy what their visit was about but that she shouldn’t worry because “it’s nothing.”

When Tracy asked to take pictures of their badges, Roberts stated, “Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to have anyone take our pictures.”

“I have two FBI agents at the front door,” Tracy told her daughter over the phone in front of the agents. “FBI agents?” Elise repeated, causing Roberts to break into a smile. “Mom, don’t tell them anything,” Elise instructed her mother. Tracy then gestured for the agents to leave the porch.

According to Kyle Seraphin, the former FBI agent who exposed the agency for targeting traditional Catholics, Roberts was assigned to “domestic terrorism” as of last fall and was incessantly harassing an FBI whistleblower and his wife. FBI Agents Lose Security Clearances Ahead of Testimony

The FBI has revoked the security clearances of three of its agents for matters related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, the agency told lawmakers in a letter Wednesday.

The actions of the agents reportedly drew into question their “allegiance to the United States,” according to the letter obtained by the New York Times that was submitted a day before two of the agents were set to testify in front of the House Judiciary subcommittee investigating the “weaponization” of the federal government.

The agents, Marcus Allen, Stephen Friend, and Brett Gloss, have also been suspended pending review of their cases, according to the New York Times.

Gloss, whose security clearance was revoked two weeks ago, was allegedly in a restricted area of the Capitol grounds on the day of the attack, which is a federal offense. He also reportedly lied about being in a restricted area and gave “false or misleading information” on what he saw the day of the riot.
