Whistleblowers: FBI Officials Singled Out Agents Who Were Former Military for Anti-Trump Retaliation

More whistleblowers have stepped forward to tell Congress that high-ranking FBI officials are targeting agents for their political beliefs and trying to force them out of the bureau, specifically going after former military members.

The Marine Corps and other military veterans at the FBI are being accused of being disloyal to the U.S. because they fit the profile of a supporter of former President Donald Trump, according to two new disclosures sent to lawmakers on the House Judiciary Committee.

The Washington Times obtained copies of the disclosures.

The whistleblowers said FBI Security Division Deputy Assistant Director Jeffrey Veltri and Assistant Section Chief Dena Perkins specifically went after bureau employees who served as Marines or in other military branches

They retaliated against the agents by stripping them of security clearance, which sidelines them on the job and pushes them toward the exit, according to the disclosures.

The FBI used administrative maneuvers to stonewall investigative activity surrounding Ukraine and Hunter Biden’s ties to Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings, former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania Scott Brady testified to the House Judiciary Committee.

FBI headquarters allegedly micromanaged the investigative process to slow-walk Brady’s attempt at vetting information related to corruption in Ukraine and Hunter Biden’s business relationship with Burisma, resulting in significant delays to vetting activity assigned to Brady by then-Attorney General Bill Barr, according to a transcript of his testimony reviewed by the Daily Caller.

“I think there was reluctance on the part of the FBI to really do any tasking related to our assignment from DAG Rosen and looking into allegations of Ukrainian corruption broadly and then specifically anything that intersected with Hunter Biden and his role in Burisma. Dozens of FBI Sources Gave ‘Criminal Information’ on Bidens That DOJ Tried to Discredit as ‘Foreign Disinformation’: Grassley

More than 40 confidential sources provided “criminal information” related to the Biden family to the FBI — which the Justice Department tried to discredit as “foreign disinformation,” according to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley.

The confidential human sources, managed by several different FBI field offices, supplied the bureau with details of potential crimes by Hunter Biden, James Biden and Joe Biden dating back to his time as vice president, according to a letter, obtained by The Post, that was sent by the Iowa Republican to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday.

“This letter is based on years of investigation, including the provision of information, records, and allegations from multiple Justice Department whistleblowers that indicate there is – and has been – an effort among certain Justice Department and FBI officials to improperly delay and stop full and complete investigative activity into the Biden family,” Grassley wrote.

“An essential question that must be answered is this: did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down? Indeed, if those sources were improperly shut down, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for the FBI,” he added.

Former NSA Employee Pleads Guilty After Trying to Sell Classified Information to Russia

A former National Security Agency (NSA) employee pleaded guilty on Monday to attempting to sell classified national defense information to an FBI employee he believed to be an agent of the Russian Federation.

Jareh Sebastian Dalke, 31, of Colorado Springs, faces a possible life sentence after he pleaded guilty today to six counts of attempting to transmit classified National Defense Information (NDI) to an officer or agent of a foreign government, according to the Department of Justice.

His plea agreement states that federal prosecutors agreed not to request more than 22 years in prison, but the U.S. authorities said the judge would ultimately determine his sentence.

Dalke reportedly admitted to the charges during a hearing before U.S. District Judge Raymond Moore, where he answered the judge’s questions concerning the terms of his deal and acknowledged he has been taking medication for mental illness over the last year while in custody. FBI Director Warns of Rise in Terror Threats Against Americans, Potential Copy-Cat Attacks on U.S. Soil (VIDEO)

The head of the FBI is ominously warning there is a rising number of terror threats against the US — and that the biggest concern involves potential lone wolves pulling off Hamas copy-cat attacks here.

Agency chief Christopher Wray, 56, urged law enforcement to be extra cautious about ripple effects from the raging Israeli-Palestinian conflict during an address at the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference in San Diego on Saturday.

“History has been witness to antisemitic and other forms of violent extremism for far too long,” he said, according to an FBI transcript. “We remain committed to continue confronting those threats.

“In this heightened environment, there’s no question we’re seeing an increase in reported threats, and we’ve got to be on the lookout, especially for lone actors who may take inspiration from recent events to commit violence of their own,” he added.

FBI Knew All About Joe and Hunter’s Business Dealings, Laptop Authenticity — And Did Nothing: Files

Within several days of The New York Post breaking its blockbuster 2020 story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, the FBI received a flash drive containing emails and text messages from the cellphones of one of Hunter’s business partners, confirming the contents of Hunter’s computer were real and not “disinformation,” as the FBI led social media and the public to believe.

On Oct. 23, 2020, forensic examiners from the FBI’s Computer Analysis and Response Team (CART) took into inventory the flash drive, which was loaded with the emails and texts from an iPhone and two Blackberry phones that Hunter’s former business associate Tony Bobulinski used to communicate with the president’s son about a lucrative joint venture with Chinese nationals.

The data on the flash drive covered the period from early 2015 through late 2017, according to the FBI report, known as an FD-302, which summarized the interview with Bobulinski.

“BOBULINSKI was aware that the emails published by the New York Post were legitimate because BOBULINSKI was copied on them and had records of the emails on his own cellular devices,” the interviewing agents wrote in their 13-page report.

By that point, Twitter had censored The Post’s report, based partly on the FBI’s warnings. And a group of 51 former intelligence officers, including FBI members, signed a letter suggesting the laptop was fake — even though many knew it was real. FBI, DOJ Officials Were ‘Openly Mocking’ Congressional Inquiries Into Hunter Biden Investigation, Memo Alleges

Officials from the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) were “openly mocking” congressional inquiries about the Hunter Biden investigation into his taxes and firearms possession, a newly released IRS memo alleges.

IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley wrote a memo in December 2020 outlining the Hunter Biden investigation and potential obstacles to gathering additional evidence. One of those obstacles was the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Delaware and the FBI allegedly ignoring congressional requests and “openly mocking” the lawmakers who sent the requests, Shapley said in the memo.

“The FBI is a participating agency that is forcing decisions upon IRS-CI even though the only viable charges are currently tax charges. The assigned AUSA does not allow dissenting opinion without verbal admonishment,” Shapley’s memo reads.

“The USAO and FBI received congressional inquiries concerning this investigation and have repeatedly ignored their requests, openly mocking the members of congress who made the requests. It appears that someone at DOJ leaked information to the media after our day of action,” the IRS agent added. Newsweek: The FBI Is Now Explicitly Targeting Trump Supporters

The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers.

The challenge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the primary federal agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political parties or affiliations—even though the vast majority of its current “anti-government” investigations are of Trump supporters, according to classified data obtained by Newsweek.

“The FBI is in an almost impossible position,” says a current FBI official, who requested anonymity to discuss highly sensitive internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. But the Bureau must also preserve the Constitutional right of all Americans to campaign, speak freely and protest the government. By focusing on former president Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, the official said, the Bureau runs the risk of provoking the very anti-government activists that the terrorism agencies hope to counter.

“Especially at a time when the White House is facing Congressional Republican opposition claiming that the Biden administration has ‘weaponized’ the Bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully,” says the official. FBI Ex-Official Confirms to Lawmakers Bureau Had Human Sources in Place on Jan. 6

A former top FBI official has told a House panel that the agency’s Washington Field Office learned that FBI informants were involved in the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot.

The House Judiciary Committee conducted a transcribed interview with Steven D’Antuono, former assistant director-in-charge of the Washington Field Office (WFO).

During the interview, Mr. D’Antuono testified that the WFO learned after the riot that there had been confidential sources from other field offices in attendance and that other informants participated on their own accord.

When asked by Rep. Jim Jordan, Ohio Republican and the Judiciary chairman, whether there were any known or unknown Confidential Human Sources (CHS) at the riot, Mr. D’Antuono said, “Well, I think they were both.”

Company Let FBI Seize Customer’s Gun Safe Contents Without a Court Order (VIDEO)

Liberty Safe willfully granted the FBI backdoor access to one of its customers’ gun safes because the federal law enforcement agency demanded it.

“The feds called the manufacturer of his Liberty Gun Safe and got the passcode to get into it too. All for protesting at the Capitol over 2 1/2 years ago,” conservative YouTubers the Hodge Twins alleged in a post on X on Monday.

Nathan Hughes, the 34-year-old owner of the compromised Liberty gun safe, was arrested at gunpoint and charged last week with one felony and three misdemeanors related to his presence in the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021. During the raid on his home, the FBI ransacked his house and attempted to confiscate the firearms from his safe.

Liberty confirmed on Tuesday that it gave the disgraced federal law enforcement agency a combination to break into Hughes’ gun safe simply because the FBI produced a warrant to search Hughes’ home.

Safe companies like Liberty are not necessarily required to comply with law enforcement requests for combos to break into one of their purchased products unless a court orders them to do so. Liberty, however, claimed it is their “company protocol” to give law enforcement entry and access to its products as long as those agencies possess a warrant.
