On Monday, for the second time in the last month, a young rabbi living in Israel was slaughtered by a Palestinian terrorist. This time, the victim, Rabbi Itamar Ben Gal, 29, a father of four young children, was murdered in cold blood by a 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist. New Scandal in Obama’s War Against Netanyahu

. . .Last October, WND CEO Joseph Farah pointed out the Obama administration sent money in 2015 to a non-profit U.S. group that sought to prevent Benjamin Netanyahu from forming a coalition government to remain as prime minister.

Now there’s new information, according to the American Center for Law and Justice, that the Obama administration’s intervention was even worse.

ACLJ said that in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, it “uncovered a startling revelation.”

“Yasser Mahmoud Abbas, son of Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of the terrorist-allied Palestinian Authority, was also a senior leader and advisor to OneVoice – and, as demonstrated by the contents of the documents themselves, the Obama administration knew this,” ACLJ said in a report Wednesday.

“In short, the Obama State Department gave U.S. taxpayer dollars to a terrorist-affiliated organization (the PA recently united with the terrorist group Hamas) to unseat the democratically elected leader of the only free democracy in the Middle East and a vital U.S. ally.” (Read more from “New Scandal in Obama’s War Against Netanyahu” HERE)

Israel Dig Unearths Prehistoric ‘Paradise’

Israeli archaeologists have uncovered a rare prehistoric site near Tel Aviv described as a “paradise” for hunter-gatherers living 500,000 years ago.

The site, next to a busy motorway at Jaljulia, has revealed hundreds of flint axes and other artefacts.

Experts say the area had a stream, vegetation and an abundance of animals – all perfect for early humans . . .

The ancient landscape was found between Jaljulia and the Route 6 motorway, about 5m (16ft) below the surface, and the finds indicate it was used by the ancestors of modern humans – homo erectus.

After Pop Star Cancels Show for Israel Boycott, Former Beatles Band Mate Takes Matters Into His Own Hands

Just a week after singer Lorde canceled her planned concert in Tel Aviv, former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr announced he will be performing in Israel.

The announcement was made on Starr’s website, stating that his All Starr Band had added new tour dates for their travels through Europe and Israel.

The 13th iteration band includes fellow rock legends Steve Lukather of Toto, Greg Rollie of Journey and Graham Gouldman of 10cc, according to Breitbart, and are booked for the Menorah Mivtahim Arena in Tel Aviv.

“Starr is going ahead with his visit, where others have feared to tread,” reports Breitbart Jerusalem. “Notably Lorde and Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters, who remains one of the most vocal anti-Israel celebrities in entertainment.”

The 21-year-old singer was scheduled to perform in the summer of 2018 in Tel Aviv, but received immense pressure from hard-left Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, which had called for boycotts of Israel.

“I’ve received an overwhelming number of messages and letters and have had a lot of discussions with people holding many views,” Lorde said in response to the call for her to step down. “And I think the right decision at this time is to cancel the show.”

However, the cancelation of the famous “Royals” singer was met with backlash on both social media and in other portions of the entertainment industry.

Meanwhile, social media users have highlighted the hypocrisy, as Lorde — who canceled her Israel concert on the basis of human rights reasons — will continue her concerts in other locations such as Russia.

Yet, other celebrities — like Starr — have gone ahead with concerts in the country during such controversial times, including those such as Lady Gaga, Radiohead, Rihanna and even Sir Paul McCartney — the latter having been threatened back in 2008 if he performed for his audience of 400,000 in Tel Aviv.

“If he values his life Mr. McCartney must not come to Israel,” militant Islamic activist Omar Bakri Muhammad said in reference to McCartney. “He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him.”

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke has even been outspoken about the disdain of other celebrities towards Israel. As reported by The Guardian, Yorke fired back at Waters and other BDS activists for pressuring the band to cancel their concert scheduled concert in the Jewish state.

“It’s deeply disrespectful to assume that we’re either being misinformed or that we’re so retarded we can’t make these decisions ourselves,” Yorke told Rolling Stone.

Israel Has Problems With Illegals, Issues Ultimatum

Israel has issued an ultimatum to thousands of Africans who illegally entered the country – get out in the next three months or go to prison.

The Population and Immigration Authority demanded this week that migrants from Sudan and Eritrea leave “to their country or to a third country,” meaning Rwanda or Uganda.

Those who cooperate and leave by the end of March will receive $3,500, along with airfare and other incentives, as reported by multiple outlets.

This is all part of an Israeli campaign to expel roughly 42,000 illegal African migrants from the country. These migrants entered Israel before it built a fence along its border with Egypt. Many of them seek refugee status, claiming they fled conflict and persecution in their home countries.

However, the Israeli government has termed them “infiltrators” and says they are mainly economic migrants whose presence in large numbers threatens Israel’s Jewish character. (Read more from “Israel Has Problems With Illegals, Issues Ultimatum” HERE)

UN Brings Back Image of Pagan God

Experts in Israel are expressing concern that the United Nations’ goal is warping toward the promotion of idolatry after word was released that the organization is playing a key role in the image of a third pagan god – the goddess of “extra-marital relations.” . . .

Joe Kovacs, author of “Shocked By The Bible 2,” says the whole sad spectacle is part of an old story.

“The promotion of pagan gods is certainly nothing new, and it again shows we’re all living in what I call ‘Opposite World,’” he explained. “It’s a world where most people do the very opposite action of what God has instructed. Our Creator tells us to have no other gods but Him, but folks do the opposite, honoring false gods.

“The Bible says Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, built shrines to pagan gods such as Molech, a pagan god to whom people would burn their children alive in fires. It’s just sickening. Even God-fearing Christians today don’t realize they’re doing the very opposite of God’s instructions when they decorate trees with silver and gold and stand them up in their homes and churches every December. God personally says in the tenth chapter of Jeremiah not to do that precise heathen custom, and yet people have been tricked into decorating trees with all sorts of silver tinsel, gold garland and hanging ornaments, and they have no scriptural basis for it. No Peace on Earth: Palestinians Cite Jesus in Refusal of US-Brokered Deal With Israel

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas sent a Christmas letter to Palestinian Christians using Jesus’s teachings to justify refusal of any peace deal negotiated by the U.S.

Abbas wrote that Palestinians refused to accept any peace deal from the U.S. in light of President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, according to Haaretz.

Abbas called Trump’s decision an “insult to millions of people worldwide, and also to the city of Bethlehem,” citing Jesus’s birthplace and quoting Christian scriptures to justify Palestinians’ refusal to reconcile.

“We are inspired by the message of Jesus, who refused injustice and spread a word of hope,” Abbas wrote in the letter, according to Haaretz.

“The Holy Bible says ‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be filled.’

“Threats against those who support justice will be met with the same spirit and response from our nation and from millions of dignified people around the world.”

The Palestinian president’s letter also cited local Palestinian churches’ opposition to the U.S. acknowledgement of Jerusalem, and said that such an acknowledgement supported “illegality and the blatant violations of our rights.”

Abbas had the letter sent during his meeting and subsequent news conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Abbas called on European countries to aid the Palestinians in achieving their goals in peace negotiations, and said that the U.S. was “no longer an honest mediator in the peace process.”

Macron responded by condemning what he saw as an overreach on the part of the U.S. in the peace process between Palestinians and Israel, which he said was a process that should be left entirely to the Israelis and Palestinians.

The United Nations also rejected the U.S. recognition of Jerusalem in a resolution member countries passed Thursday.

The U.N. resolution garnered support from Abbas, Palestinian diplomat and peace negotiator Saeb Erekat and Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum, who called the resolution “a step in the right direction.”

“The world is saying that President Trump’s declaration in the eyes of the international community is a void and unjust decision,” Erekat said, according to Haaretz. Netanyahu Slams Turkey’s Erdogan for Claiming Israel Is ‘Terrorist State’ That ‘Kills Children’

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday described Israel as a “terrorist state” and said that it “kills children,” leading to a sharp rebuke from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Palestine is an innocent victim… As for Israel, it is a terrorist state, yes, terrorist!” Erdogan said in a speech in the central city of Sivas, AFP reported. “We will not abandon Jerusalem to the mercy of a state that kills children.”

He spoke days after President Trump announced the U.S. would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and ordered the State Department to start the process of moving the U.S. Embassy there from Tel Aviv.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at a news conference in Paris alongside French President Emmanuel Macron after the two leaders met, responded to Erdogan.

“I‘m not used to receiving lectures about morality from a leader who bombs Kurdish villages in his native Turkey, who jails journalists, helps Iran go around international sanctions and who helps terrorists, including in Gaza, kill innocent people,” Netanyahu said, according to Reuters. Israeli PM Netanyahu Praises ‘Historic’ Decision by Trump

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and directed the State Department to begin the process of relocating the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv to the holy city.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Trump’s decision, expressing profound gratitude on behalf of the people of Israel.

Israeli ambassador to the U.S. Ron Dermer also thanked President Trump, tweeting an image of an Israeli flag and a U.S. flag displayed proudly next to each other on the old city wall of Jerusalem.

Other countries have expressed an interest in following the United States’ lead and recognizing Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the sovereign nation of Israel.

Top U.S. School District to ‘Indoctrinate’ Teachers Against Israel

The Los Angeles Unified School District, the second-largest school district in America, is co-sponsoring a “professional development” workshop for K-12 teachers to “Learn about Islam and the Arab World” – and the district has apparently partnered with an anti-Israel group for lessons on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“Learning about Islam and the Arab World” is the topic of a two-part course that began Oct. 14 and will continue Oct. 21. It is being led by LAUSD teachers Richard Jessel and Rosa Melendez, according to a posting on the website of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, or FORUSA.

One person, who is Christian, attended the Oct. 14 class and told The Israel Group: “The workshop was nothing more than lectures proclaiming the virtues of Islam, while following the same party lines: All negative information about Islam was labeled as lies, mistranslations, ignorance, prejudice and hoaxes; speakers stated that violent jihad is non-doctrinal, bulls–t; Christians and Jews were always better off living under Muslim rule and anyone who says otherwise is lying.” (Read more from “Top U.S. School District to ‘Indoctrinate’ Teachers Against Israel” HERE)
