NBC anchor Chuck Todd said Sunday on “Meet the Press” that a new NBC News poll finds “Americans are angry” with a graphic showing 74% of those polled say the country is on the wrong track. . .

He continued, “Just 21% of adults say we are headed in the right direction. Once again three out of four Out of 4 Americans say we are on the wrong track. In fact, this number never before in this poll has this wrong track number been over 70% for this long. It’s been nearly a year now. 58% say America’s best years are behind us. Biden, World Leaders Discuss Need for Ukraine Nuclear Plant Inspection

President Joe Biden spoke to the leaders of close allies about the tense situation surrounding the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in southeastern Ukraine, according to the White House.

With international concerns about the nuclear power plant being the epicenter of a major disaster escalating in recent weeks as both Russian and Ukrainian forces accuse each other of shelling the plant, Biden spoke with President Emmanuel Macron of France, Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom, affirming “their continued support for Ukraine’s efforts to defend itself against Russian aggression,” said a readout from the White House press office on Sunday.

“They also discussed the situation at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, including the need to avoid military operations near the plant and the importance of an IAEA visit as soon as feasible to ascertain the state of safety systems,” the readout added. Iran’s nuclear program and stability in the Middle East were also discussed, per the readout.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned earlier this month that shelling the plant is “suicidal” and expressed hope that the International Atomic Energy Agency, the U.N. nuclear watchdog, will be able to access the plant. Here’s What the White House Wants You to Believe About Falling Gas Prices

The next time you stop at a gas station and spend almost half your paycheck filling up your tank, thank Mr. President Joe Biden because, according to him, it’s almost as if you’re getting a $100 monthly raise.

In an email sent out to reporters by White House staff, the Biden administration is claiming that Americans should interpret the falling price of fuel as a monthly raise.

Titled in the subject line as “ICYMI: America Just Got A $100-A-Month Raise,” the email says, “President Biden has taken decisive action to lower prices at the pump, and the current drop in gas prices is the fastest decline in over a decade… thanks to that decline, Americans are collectively spending around $400 million less each day than they would if gas prices had stayed at their peak.”

The email also includes a link to a CNN story that dropped at the same time as the email, with the first line reading, “Next time you stop at a gas station, think of it as a $100-a-month tax cut. Or a maybe $100-a-month raise.”

DHS Is Building a $500,000 Taxpayer-Funded Wall at Biden’s Delaware Beach House

President Biden may oppose building a wall along the U.S.’s southern border, but he’s currently spending nearly $500,000 of taxpayers’ money to construct a barrier around his vacation property at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

In September 2021, the Department of Homeland Security doled out a $455,000 contract to a Sussex County, Delaware, construction company to build a fence around the president’s “Summer White House,” according to USAspending.gov, an online database that tracks government spending.

Construction began last September and was expected to be completed by the end of 2021. However, unknown delays have pushed the expected completion date to June 6, 2023, and ballooned costs to $490,324.

Mr. Biden’s critics mocked the beach house wall.

Majority of Americans Now See FBI as ‘Joe Biden’s Personal Gestapo’

A majority of 53 percent of Americans now see the FBI for what it really is: Joe Biden’s personal Gestapo.

This is according to the latest polling of Rasmussen Reports, which found only bad news for America’s fascist FBI:

Rasmussen Reports finds that 44% of Likely U.S. voters say the FBI raid on Trump’s Florida home made them trust the FBI less, compared to 29% who say it made them trust the bureau more. Twenty-three percent (23%) say the Trump raid did not make much difference in their trust of the FBI. …

Fifty percent (50%) of voters have a favorable impression of the FBI, including 26% who have a Very Favorable view of the bureau. Forty-six percent (46%) now view the FBI unfavorably, including 29% who have a Very Unfavorable impression of the bureau.

Roger Stone, an adviser to former President Donald Trump, has said there is “a group of politicized thugs at the top of the FBI who are using the FBI … as Joe Biden‘s personal Gestapo.” A majority (53%) of voters now agree with Stone’s statement – up from 46% in December – including 34% who Strongly Agree. Thirty-six percent (36%) disagree with the quote from Stone, including 26% who Strongly Disagree.

White House Silent on When ‘Inflation Reduction’ Will Reduce Inflation

Inflation has exploded under Joe Biden’s administration, reaching Consumer Price Index levels of 8% and 9%, and wholesale marks of up to about 11%. Gasoline, while down a bit in the last few weeks, as been in the $5 and $6 a gallon range.

That’s costing Americans thousands of dollars more this year to have the same lifestyle they did last year. . .

But after Biden signed the measure into law, the White House went silent on when it will help Americans fighting surging prices, and how that will happen.

Fox News reported that in response to a request from Fox News Digital, the White House “did not immediately provide economic modeling showing when the bill will begin to significantly impact overall inflation – which sits at 8.5% over a year ago as of July.”

President Joe Biden rode his bike in front of reporters again on Sunday, this time peddling along the beachfront in front of media cameras on Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

The president, wearing a polo and shorts, rode along the beach front, stopping to visit with some families and children and take selfies with supporters.

Biden was surrounded by Secret Service agents who also rode bikes around him as he slowly pedaled across the sand.

Has Inflation Peaked? Maybe, but It Could Be ‘Painfully Slow’ to Fall

The cooler-than-expected July inflation data fueled hopes that consumer prices peaked earlier this summer after a year of relentless increases that crushed Americans, created a political firestorm for President Biden and forced the Federal Reserve to hike interest rates at the fastest pace in decades.

The consumer price index climbed 8.5% in July from the previous year, a bigger drop from the 9.1% recorded in June than economists projected. On a monthly basis, the index did not move at all as decreases in the cost of oil, gasoline and airfares offset increases in food and rent.

When excluding more volatile measurements of food and gasoline, prices jumped 5.9% in July, matching the previous month.

While the slowdown is likely a welcome respite for the Fed as it tries to wrestle inflation under control, experts cautioned that inflation remains painfully high and could be slow to return to pre-pandemic levels around 2%. Democrats Can’t Hide Their Concern About Joe Biden’s Health

President Joe Biden’s bad public gaffes is nothing new. In fact, America is becoming seemingly used to seeing the leader of the U.S. forget where is or what he’s saying, so much so that questions are raised when he actually makes it through a speech without embarrassing his party.

In a new Issues & Insights/TIPP analysis survey, a vast amount of Democrats are worried about Biden’s mental health.

39 percent of Democrats are concerned Biden’s cognitive skills aren’t in tact enough to carry him to the end of presidential term.

The poll noted that despite this percentage not being the majority, it “is still significantly high.”

Huh? Biden Boasts ‘Zero Inflation’ — But Food and Rent Soar!

President Joe Biden boasted Wednesday that the United States economy experienced zero inflation in the month of July, even though costs of goods and services are still up 8.5 percent from the previous year.

“I just want to say a number. Zero. Today we received news that our economy had zero inflation in the month of July,” Biden boasted during a speech at the White House.

Inflation of all consumer prices in July was flat from the previous month, thanks to a drop in the price of gasoline from June’s record highs and a sharp decrease in the cost of airfare. . .

But inflation at the grocery store continues to rise. Prices were up 1.3 percent compared with a month earlier and 13.1 percent compared with a year ago.
