Biden Appoints Problematic Islamist With Muslim Brotherhood Ties To Religious Freedom Commission

Serving as an imam of a mosque that was credibly accused of serving as a conduit for terror financing and as the leader of a national organization with roots in the Muslim Brotherhood should disqualify someone from serving on a commission charged with monitoring abuses of religious freedom. And downplaying the horrors of a well-documented genocide fueled by religious animosity should also be a deal breaker. But under the Biden administration, these types of Islamist affiliations are résumé builders and genocide denial is no big thing.

This was demonstrated last month when the White House appointed Mohamed Hag Magid, a prominent imam from Virginia, to serve on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) last month. Established by Congress in 1998, USCIRF is charged with monitoring violations of the right to religious freedom throughout the world and makes recommendations on how to respond to these violations to the president, the U.S. State Department, and to Congress. According to its website, the nine-member commission is “appointed by either the President or Congressional leaders of each political party, supported by a non-partisan professional staff.”

In its announcement of Magid’s appointment, the White House highlighted his status as Executive Imam of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center in Sterling, Virginia. In the early 2000s, the ADAMS center was named in a federal investigation as part of the SAAR network, an alleged terror finance organization funded by Saudi donors.

To further buttress Magid’s appointment, the White House invoked his tenure as president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) which was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1981. During his time as president, Magid gave an award to Dawud Walid, the executive director of CAIR-Michigan. Prior to receiving the ISNA reward, Walid declared, “Who are those who incurred the wrath of Allah? They are the Jews.” ISNA, by the way, was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. By Mediaite. Former President Donald Trump was joined by some of his family, Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on his golf course, as “Let’s Go, Brandon,” chants broke out during the Saudi-backed LIV tournament.

The chant became a commonly used MAGA phrase after a sports reporter misheard a crowd, thinking they were celebrating NASCAR driver Brandon Brown’s victory. Trump supporters have used the slogan as a way to criticize Biden vocally.

In a video posted to Twitter, chants broke out as the crowd spotted Trump, Carlson, Greene, Eric Trump, and Kimberly Guilfoyle as the group smiled and waved.

Trump Shares Joke With Tucker at Golf Club Weeks After Fox Star Shot Down Presidential Run Rumors

By Daily Mail. Donald Trump shared a joke with Fox News star Tucker Carlson during the Saudi-backed LIV golf tournament at his Bedminster golf club Sunday.

The former president, 76, and the TV star who recently insisted he’d never run for president were all-smiles as they were joined by Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to watch the action unfold at the Trump National Golf Club.

LIV arrived at Trump’s club on July 29, sparking controversy from some 9/11 victims who say the Saudi-backed tournament should not be welcomed on US shores.

The former president sparked outrage by saying there was no proof Saudi was linked to the September 2001 atrocity in New York City – which sits just 40 miles from Bedminster – Washington DC and Pennsylvania.

Sunday is the final day of the tournament in Bedminster. It will now move onto The International golf club near Boston, before concluding at Rich Harvest Farms in Illinois on September 18. Reuters Mocked for Fact-Checking Spoof Video of Biden Being Distracted by Ice-Cream Truck Music (VIDEO)

President Biden is well-known for his love of ice cream, enough in fact that a major news outlet’s fact-checking organization was dispatched to debunk a viral clip of him being lured away by the dulcet tones of an ice cream truck.

“Social media users are sharing a video of U.S. President Joe Biden walking away momentarily during a speech given by U.S. First Lady Jill Biden and claiming that he was distracted by an ice cream truck. The video being shared, however, has been digitally edited to include music usually played by an ice cream truck,” wire service Reuters reported on Sunday.

The outlet was concerned by the spread of clips of Biden, while listening to first lady Jill Biden speaking at a Washington, D.C., middle school on Sept. 10, 2021, walking away after apparently hearing a cheerful ice truck jingle. The below tweet went viral last week. Other people lampooning the president shared videos and posts with a crudely added ice cream truck in the background.

Reuters linked to a CSPAN video of the speech, which showed there was no ice cream truck music. It was unclear what briefly distracted the president as his wife waxed poetic on children returning to school.

“This video has been digitally edited to include ice cream truck music as U.S. President Joe Biden walked away momentarily during first lady Jill Biden’s speech,” Reuters concluded. The story had no single byline; it was the product of the “Reuters Fact Check Team.”

Trump Mocks Biden, Claims He Has Dementia in Wild Post

Former President Donald Trump accused President Joe Biden of having dementia rather than a COVID-19 rebound infection in a backhanded “get well” message on his Truth Social platform that spurred a wild rant Sunday.

The former president began by trolling his successor on the social media site over his re-diagnosis. The sarcastic opener led Trump down a rabbit hole, joking that Biden was “thinking of moving, part time, to one of those beautiful Wisconsin Nursing Homes” before rehashing his grievances with the 2020 election and reiterating his debunked accusations of widespread fraud.

“Joe Biden’s second bout of Covid, sometimes referred to as the China Virus, was sadly misdiagnosed by his doctors. He instead has Dementia, but is happily recovering well,” Trump wrote. “Joe is thinking of moving, part time, to one of those beautiful Wisconsin Nursing Homes, where almost 100% of the residents miraculously, and for the first time in history, had the strength and energy to vote — even if those votes were cast illegally.”

Young Voters Are Abandoning Biden — Here’s Why

Young voters were President Joe Biden’s most reliable supporters in 2020 but many have now soured on the president for three key reasons as he approaches the midpoint of his first term, numerous polls indicate.

Around 60% of 18- to 29-year-old voters backed Biden in 2020, making this younger group of Americans the age demographic he carried the most comfortably, but now Biden’s approval rating among younger voters is worse than his overall rate — 37% versus 38% — according to FiveThirtyEight. This decline in support is likely due to a perceived mishandling of the economy, a failure to fulfill campaign promises and general political disillusionment, recent polling data shows.

Young voters almost unanimously do not want Biden to run again in 2024, with 94% of voters age 18-29 hoping that someone else is at the top of the Democratic ticket, according to one New York Times poll.

The economy is top of mind for younger voters as here, too, they have soured on Biden even more dramatically than the general electorate. Last week’s YouGov/The Economist survey showed that just 34% of Americans aged 18 to 29 approved of the way Biden was handling jobs and the economy, less than the 37% of voters overall. Biden Using Air Marshals to Escort Border Crossers Ahead of Release into American Communities

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is using Federal Air Marshals to escort border crossers and illegal aliens before their release into American communities, sources close to Breitbart News reveal.

As the Biden administration continues overseeing record-breaking waves of illegal immigration, Air Marshals have been deployed to escort border crossers and illegal aliens from processing facilities at the United States-Mexico border to the custody of Border Patrol agents before they are released into the U.S. interior.

The catch and release process, detailed exclusively to Breitbart News, ensures border crossers and illegal aliens are apprehended, briefly detained, and then released into American communities via parole where they can secure work permits.

In one Arizona sector, more than 30 Air Marshals, a source said, have been deployed to help facilitate the mass release of border crossers and illegal aliens. The process is so widespread that a source said many arrive at the border expecting to secure parole.

All-Time Joe: Biden Polls Lower Than Any Modern President, Gallup Finds

Nearly 60% of Americans disapprove of President Biden’s job performance, the lowest rating of any modern president and an ominous sign for his fellow Democrats approaching the midterm congressional elections, a new poll reveals.

The Democrat’s approval sunk to a new low of 38% in the latest Gallup survey, released Friday based on surveys done from July 5-26.

A record high 59% of respondents disapproved of Biden’s record in office.

How bad has it gotten for Biden? Gallup says the average approval rate during his first six quarters in the oval office was a historic low of 40% — worse than the 42% recorded by ex-Presidents Jimmy Carter and Donald Trump, who is weighing another bid for the White House after losing re-election to Biden in 2020.

Barack Obama’s approval rating was 47% at the same juncture of his presidency. Bill Clinton had a 46% approval rating and Ronald Reagan — who grappled with a recession early in his presidency had a 44% approval rating. Lawmakers Call for Biden to Take Cognitive Test

Dozens of Republican lawmakers are calling for President Biden to take a cognitive test citing a spate of gaffes they say call into question the 79-year-old’s fitness for the job.

Rep. Ronny Jackson, a Texas Republican who served as the presidential physician to former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, led 54 of his colleagues urging Mr. Biden to “submit to a cognitive test immediately.”

“The American people should have absolute confidence in their President, knowing that he or she can perform their duties as Head of State and Commander in Chief,” the lawmakers wrote in a letter to the president. “They deserve full transparency on the mental capabilities of their highest elected leader.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

There’s a Serious Problem With the DOJ Investigation Into Hunter Biden

The trail of breadcrumbs that Hunter Biden left goes beyond that of Hansel and Gretel, but no one wants to look into this guy. The crack addict has been a public relations nightmare for his father, yet the liberal media’s shield of protection prevents any accountability.

The shady government access deals have been widely known among some of us since Tony Bobulinski went on record to discuss the 2017 deal that fell through with CEFC China Energy. The Biden family was still compensated for their time, however. This deal involved Joe Biden, “the big guy,” and showed the president lied about not knowing his son’s allegedly corrupt foreign exploits. The Hunter Biden laptop has been a treasure trove of inquiry into potentially felonious activity, but no one wants to touch it for the most part. If Hunter were the son of a Republican, this would be the top story for months.

Mia has combed through that iCloud, a Pandora’s Box of debauchery. While the crack cocaine, hookers, white claws, and M&M stories are fun, the tax evasion probe is real and ongoing. Yet, there’s a serious snag. Delaware’s US Attorney’s Office isn’t big enough to handle the investigation. They lack the resources to investigate all the angles of the case. Hunter Biden and corruption is an ever-growing amoeba, and this office is reportedly in dire need of reinforcements.

The Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office investigating Hunter Biden lacks the wherewithal and resources to adequately probe the dubious financial dealings of the Biden family and their business partners, according to three current or former Department of Justice officials.

“If any single one of the dozens of issues had been alleged about the Bush or Trump families, a special counsel would have been appointed immediately,” said one career official familiar with the probe. “[The Delaware office] needs help. There’s no way it can tackle everything it needs to, even if it tried.” Two other officials also expressed concern about resources available to the investigation, particularly given the political sensitivity and complexity of the underlying issues.

President Biden Reacts to US Economy Entering Recession After Insisting It Wouldn’t Happen

By Fox Business. President Biden reacted to Thursday’s GDP report, saying it is “no surprise that the economy is slowing down” amid inflation, despite saying earlier this week that the United States would not be entering a recession.

The U.S. economy shrank in the spring for the second consecutive quarter, meeting the criteria for a recession as record-high inflation and higher interest rates forced consumers and businesses to pull back on spending.

Gross domestic product, the broadest measure of goods and services produced across the economy, shrank by 0.9% on an annualized basis in the three-month period from April through June, the Commerce Department said in its first reading of the data on Thursday. Refinitiv economists expected the report to show the economy had expanded by 0.5%.

“Coming off of last year’s historic economic growth – and regaining all the private sector jobs lost during the pandemic crisis – it’s no surprise that the economy is slowing down as the Federal Reserve acts to bring down inflation,” Biden said in a statement Thursday. “But even as we face historic global challenges, we are on the right path and we will come through this transition stronger and more secure.”

Biden Refuses to Take Questions After Recession-Denying Remarks

In his remarks Thursday urging Congress to pass a revived version of his bloated Build Back Better bill, President Joe Biden again denied the existence of a recession just hours after his Commerce Department reported a second consecutive quarter of negative GDP growth — the literal definition of a recession.

“That doesn’t sound like a recession to me,” Biden declared after cherrypicking anecdotal evidence to try and present the image of a strong economy while omitting the serious economic woes his policies have inflicted on Americans. In typical fashion, Biden trotted out of his briefing without taking questions after his quixotic remarks.
