Ben Carson Analyzes Biden’s Mental Capacity

Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon and former Republican presidential candidate, cast doubts on President Joe Biden’s mental fitness during an interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation, pointing to his frequent gaffes as evidence the president is not all there mentally.

“Well, certainly you want someone in that office who’s a peak performer, not someone whose staff has to constantly come behind him and clean up what he’s been saying,” Carson told TheDCNF. “Someone who can complete a sentence without a teleprompter would be helpful, as well.”

Less than 40% of independents think Biden is “mentally fit” whereas 61% “have doubts” about his mental fitness, according to a May Harvard-Hall poll. 83% of Republicans and 19% of Democrats also “have doubts” about Biden’s mental fitness. . .

“You’re talking about somebody who has the nuclear codes, who has so many things that are important to Americans in his hands,” Carson said. . .

“I don’t want to make a diagnosis on him but we really should be in a place as a nation where we’re willing to do mental status tests on our leaders, particularly our president, on an annual basis,” Carson said. “And if they can’t pass that mental status test, action needs to be taken.”

Frustrated Democrats Slam Joe Biden for Weak Crisis Responses: ‘Be the F***Ing President’

Frustrated Democrats on Wednesday slammed President Joe Biden for responding to multiple crises “flatfooted.”

Members of Biden’s own party are irritated as the president has been caught off guard by multiple crises all at once. Some have argued the crises are so damaging that Biden is losing control of public perception.

“It’s really simple: ‘Be the f***ing president!” a Democrat strategist told the Hill. “I realize it’s tough and you’re drinking out of a fire hose every single day, but there are things you can do to control the public perception and they haven’t done any of that.”

Combatting 40-year-high inflation, soaring gas prices, and the baby formula shortage all at once, Biden’s media team has shown “naiveté” in controlling the media narrative, Democrat strategist Christy Setzer told the Hill.

By Townhall. . .[The firearm] industry is shielded from nonsensical lawsuits from liberal lawyers who think they can shred the Second Amendment by suing the gun manufacturers out of existence. If they had their way, every gun maker would be on trial right now. People would sue them for homicides and other gun-related events for which these companies bear no responsibility. On faulty safety defects, that’s a different story and something worthy of a lawsuit. For homicides, no—Remington didn’t sell the weapon to the criminal, and it was never meant to be used in a crime. The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act which was passed in 2005 under George W. Bush is essential to protecting our Second Amendment.

Yet, Joe Applesauce for brains says the gun industry is “the only industry in this country that has that kind of immunity.”

That’s wrong, Joe. You lied. I know the lights are getting dimmer by the day because your brain function is slightly higher than a yam, but I’m pretty sure the pharmaceutical companies enjoy a massive legal shield from the COVID vaccine. Oh wait—they do (via CNBC):

The federal government has granted companies like Pfizer and Moderna immunity from liability if something unintentionally goes wrong with their vaccines.

Biden Says Second Amendment Is ‘Not Absolute’ in Call to Reinstate Assault Weapons Ban

President Biden said the Second Amendment is “not absolute” in a speech Thursday following a wave of mass shootings across the nation, pleading with to Congress to pass what he called “commonsense” gun control legislation, including reinstating an assault weapons ban, requiring background checks, and limiting magazine capacity.

The president, speaking from the Cross Hall of the White House, told Americans that the issue of restricting access to guns “is one of conscience and common sense.” . . .

“I respect the culture, the tradition, the concerns of lawful gun owners,” Biden continued. “At the same time, the Second Amendment, like all other rights, is not absolute.”

Biden added: “This isn’t about taking away anyone’s rights. It’s about protecting children. It’s about protecting families. It’s about protecting whole communities. Establishment Media Sour on Biden’s Potential Second Term

The establishment media are lukewarm on a potential second term of President Joe Biden.

Over the weekend, the Hill published a story about potential Democrat presidential candidates if Biden retracts his statements and decides not to run for a second term. The story promoted Vice President Kamala Harris, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) as legitimate contenders.

“There are doubts he will follow through on his plans because of his age — Biden would be 81 in November 2024 — and because of the brutal political headwinds he and his party are now facing,” the article noted. “Biden’s approval ratings have sunk to the mid-30s in some polls.”

FiveThirtyEight titled a story on Friday, “Americans Are Unusually Lukewarm About A Second Biden Term,” which claimed “some Americans don’t believe” Biden will seek a second term, citing polling data:

And a Wall Street Journal poll conducted from March 2-7 found that more than half (52 percent) of registered voters don’t think he’ll run again in 2024, while only 29 percent think he will run again. (Nineteen percent were unsure.) A second Biden run isn’t that popular, either. According to an AP/NORC poll conducted from Jan. 13-18, 70 percent of Americans don’t want the president to run in 2024. Even Democrats are lukewarm about the idea.

Poll: Black Americans Are Fed up With Biden

Black voters are bolting away from Joe Biden in herds, and it’s unlikely the president will win them back.

In a new Washington Post-Ipsos poll, only 23 percent of voters “strongly agree” with Biden’s job in office. Although, black Americans typically vote overwhelmingly in favor of Democratic candidates, the poll indicates they are frustrated with the lack of progress the Biden administration has made, despite countless promises of “change.”

The number of voters who think the Biden administration is “sympathetic” towards black Americans’ problems went from 74 percent to 66 percent.

According to the Pew Research Center, black voters carried Biden in the 2020 election, and even was the first Democratic president to win Georgia in 30 years. But many of those voters may think twice about their favor of Biden as the country continues to take a chaotic downward spiral thanks to the left. Biden Calls for Sweeping Gun Control Agenda

President Joe Biden invoked victims’ family members in imploring an evenly divided Senate to “do something” in response to a spate of mass shootings, saying schools had become like “killing fields” and that it was time to “meet the moment.”

The president said Thursday that the federal bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines should be reinstated, arguing that the expiration of these provisions led to an increase in mass shootings. The age at which certain weapons could be purchased should go up, he said, adding that immunity for gun manufacturers should also be lifted. Safe storage should be required, and background checks should be expanded, Biden continued.

“Enough,” Biden whispered. He said parents had to do “DNA swabs” to identify their children because the powerful weapons made their corpses unrecognizable and swatted away practical and constitutional objections to his proposals. “Don’t tell me raising the age won’t make a difference,” Biden said. “Enough.”

Biden opened by talking about the rows of crosses he and first lady Jill Biden saw on Memorial Day. He likened it to the crosses he saw commemorating the 19 schoolchildren and two teachers killed at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, last week. The CBO Confirms Bidenflation Is Real

The Congressional Budget Office has just confirmed that President Joe Biden is blameworthy for the record-high inflation that is punishing workers. Further, this nonpartisan source says that Biden’s preferred fix, raising taxes, will only make the economy worse.

The CBO’s annual economic outlook adds further force to the arguments against Biden made by other Democrats, such as former President Barack Obama’s National Economic Council director, Larry Summers, and Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Jason Furman. The CBO squarely blames Biden’s 2021 COVID stimulus bill for today’s high inflation, albeit for slightly different reasons.

Like Summers and Furman, the CBO noted that the stimulus checks sent to every family significantly boosted demand, causing inflationary pressure on its own. But there’s more. By paying workers not to work, Biden’s COVID stimulus artificially “slowed the recovery of labor force participation.” As noted by Texas Rep. Kevin Brady, the top Republican on the Ways and Means Committee, this lack of workers strained supply chains, thus providing a second source of upward pressure on prices.

The CBO predicts that this Biden-caused inflation will persist into next year, tempered only by the Federal Reserve’s willingness to raise interest rates, which will, in turn, cause the economy to slow or even contract. (Read more from “The CBO Confirms Bidenflation Is Real” HERE)

Biden Administration Cancels All Remaining Student Loan Debt for 560,000 Borrowers

The Biden administration is offering a new round of student loan debt relief for more than half a million borrowers who were students of Corinthian Colleges.

The action will see $5.8 billion in full loan discharges for 560,000 borrowers, marking the single largest loan discharge in the history of the Department of Education, and brings the total student debt relief extended by the administration to $25 billion.

Corinthian operated from 1995 to 2015. In 2013, then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris sued Corinthian before carrying out a full investigation, which found “comprehensive” wrongdoing carried out against students across the nation, including lying to prospective students about graduation and job placement rates. Addiction, Infidelity, Shame: Hunter Biden’s Ex-Wife Talks About Marriage

Kathleen Buhle said she finally has “total control over my life” five years after her 24-year marriage with President Joe Biden’s son Hunter ended.

The ex-wife of the man, who is now at the center of an investigation surrounding his laptop, said her marriage was one rocked by addiction, infidelity, and shame, according to excerpts from her book If We Break published Wednesday by People. . .

“One Saturday morning when we had friends visiting, Hunter walked into the kitchen looking as if he hadn’t gone to sleep. I was making pancakes as I watched him pull a bottle of Jack Daniel’s out of the cabinet. ‘Hunter! What are you doing?’ I said. ‘It’s 10 a.m.!’ I don’t think he knew what time it was, and he still seemed drunk. He laughed and put the bottle back. We all stared,” she wrote.

Buhle, who said she was constantly reminded of not actually being a Biden, threw out Hunter after coming to terms with his loop of anger and admission to persistent cheating.

“I found a credit card charge for $10,000 at a hot tub store in Los Angeles,” Buhle wrote. “I found hundreds at liquor stores and strip clubs. The whole time, he told me he was healthy and sober — and I was crazy. I continually told him that I was the one person actually trying to get him sober. It became my own kind of addiction. Biden Opens U.S. Borders to 44,000 Ukrainians

President Joe Biden has opened the United States’ borders to about 44,000 Ukrainians in over two months — a foreign population exceeding Burlington, Vermont’s resident population.

Since late March, Biden has welcomed about 22,000 Ukrainians at the U.S.-Mexico border, the latest Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data reveals. As Breitbart News exclusively reported, the administration has been releasing hundreds of Ukrainians into American communities via the San Ysidro Port of Entry in San Diego, California.

As part of that process, Ukrainians fly to Tijuana, Mexico, and then line up every day at the Port of Entry, where they are briefly detained and released into the U.S. interior.
