Biden met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel at EU headquarters in Brussels on Tuesday morning as they held a bilateral meeting ahead of the summit. . .

Yet Biden was accused of being “blatantly impaired” and “humiliating” after he seemed to lose his train of thought during the discussions.

Biden Mutters He’ll ‘Get In Trouble With My Staff’ for Taking Extra Question

By Yahoo News. President Biden joked when taking questions at a press conference Sunday following the G-7 summit, claiming that his staff will be upset with him if he does not conduct the event as they want him to.

Early on in the question-and-answer portion of the program, Biden was quick to inform reporters that he would operate strictly by the book.

“I’m sorry, I’m going to get in trouble with staff if I don’t do this the right way,” Biden said before calling on Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs.

Not long after, however, Biden indeed appeared to stray from protocol by taking one last question after the event seemed to be wrapping up. Notebook in hand, Biden looked to be about to exit the stage, but then hung around to listen to one more reporter.

By New York Post. President Biden embarrassed himself at the G-7 summit when he tried to correct British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for not introducing “the president of South Africa” — even though Johnson already did so by name.

The blooper — one of several Biden made amid the series of meetings with world leaders — prompted laughter at his expense at the start of a roundtable discussion in Cornwall, England. . .

After mentioning how the visiting dignitaries had brought “some pretty spectacular weather with them,” Johnson introduced Indian President Narendra Modi, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

At that point, Biden — seated between Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron — interjected.

Biden Accused of Violating Royal Protocol During Visit With the Queen

By New York Post. President Biden is being slammed for violating royal protocol in his meeting with the Queen, after he couldn’t be bothered to take off his sunglasses when he greeted the monarch at Windsor Castle, and then went on to spill details to the press about what they discussed over tea.

Biden, who with first lady Jill Biden met with the Queen on Sunday following the G7 summit in Britain, told the media at Heathrow Airport that the 95-year-old royal was interested in hearing more about Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

“We had a great talk. She wanted to know what the two leaders that I … the one I’m about to meet with, Mr. Putin, and she wanted to know about Xi Jinping, and we had a long talk, and she was very generous,” Biden said.

But revealing private details of a conversation with the Queen is a royal faux pas. . .

Biden Meets With World Leaders at G-7 Summit, Declares ‘Diplomacy Is Back’

By CBS News. President Biden on Sunday declared that “America is back to the table” after leaving his first Group of Seven summit, where world leaders vowed to confront China, boost global infrastructure and donate 1 billion vaccine doses to the rest of the world.

“I conveyed to each of my G-7 counterparts the U.S. is going to do our part. America is back to the table,” the president said in a press conference at the conclusion of the meeting with U.S. allies. “The lack of participation in the past and full engagement was noticed significantly, not only by the leaders of those countries but by the people in the G-7 countries.”

Mr. Biden called the meeting, his first with the group since assuming the presidency, “extraordinary collaborative and productive,” and said ending the coronavirus pandemic and ensuring an “equitable and inclusive” global economic recovery were the foremost priorities for the U.S. and its allies. Arizona AG Defends Maricopa Audit Against ‘Hysterical’ Criticism

Arizona’s attorney general today warned the Biden Justice Department to back off its criticism of the state Senate’s audit of the Maricopa County 2020 vote, charging that it was giving into “hysterical” liberal Trump haters.

“My office is not amused by the DOJ’s posturing and will not tolerate any effort to undermine or interfere with our State Senate’s audit to reassure Arizonans of the accuracy of our elections,” wrote Attorney General Mark Brnovich to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

“We stand ready to defend federalism and state sovereignty against any partisan attacks or federal overreach,” he added.

Garland last week mocked election audits like those in Maricopa County. “Many of the justifications proffered in support of these post-election audits and restrictions on voting have relied on assertions of material vote fraud in the 2020 election that have been refuted by law enforcement and intelligence agencies,” he said. Pre-Approved Reporters Wait Nearly Three Hours for Joe Biden’s 25 Minute Press Conference

Reporters waited three hours for President Joe Biden before he appeared late to his press conference in Brussels on Monday.

“Thank you all so very much, sorry you’re all here so late,” Biden said as he left the podium after only answering questions from five reporters selected by his staff.

The entire press conference lasted about 25 minutes. . .

DOJ Threatens To Abandon Legal Protections for Religious Schools

The Biden Department of Justice briefly instigated outrage from progressives recently when it filed a routine legal brief promising to defend Title IX’s statutory exemption for religious colleges. The DOJ filed the brief to fend off efforts by religious colleges, some of whom are represented by Alliance Defending Freedom, to intervene in a lawsuit brought by 40 past and present LGBT college students who claim the exemption violates the U.S. Constitution.

The exemption safeguards the ability of religious colleges that receive federal funds to maintain faith-based polices governing such things as student sexual conduct and sex-specific student housing. The DOJ wrote in its brief that it shared the proposed intervenors’ “ultimate objective…to defend the statutory exemption and its current application. . .

Amid this tour de force in obfuscation, the DOJ made one thing clear: the Department of Education is reviewing its Title IX regulations to ensure their consistency with the Biden administration’s “policy on guaranteeing an educational environment free from discrimination on the basis of sex.” Also, “until that process is complete,” the DOJ noted, “it would be premature to conclude that the government is an inadequate representative.” . . .

Echoing that order, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Pam Karlan of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division—the division charged with coordinating the enforcement and application of Title IX by executive agencies—concluded that, in light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, Title IX now applies to gender identity and sexual orientation, even though Congress has persistently rejected numerous attempts to amend the statute to do that very thing. Reporter Who Broke Clinton Tarmac Story Found Dead (VIDEO)

The Alabama TV anchor who broke news of the infamous 2016 “tarmac meeting” between former President Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch died Saturday in an apparent suicide, according to reports and his employer.

Christopher Sign, 45, was found dead by Hoover, Ala., police around 8:13 a.m. Saturday after cops received a call of “a person down” at his Scout Trace home, according to Al.com. The former college football player’s death is being investigated as a suicide, Hoover Lt. Keith Czeskleba said, according to the outlet.

“Chris was a tremendous leader in our newsroom,” wrote ABC 33/40, Sign’s outlet, in a Saturday tribute to the reporter.

“He worked with our reporting staff on a daily basis, but also worked behind the scenes with the I-Team and with news managers on coverage of major events,” the obituary continued. “You were very likely to get an email from him with a story idea in the middle of the night. President Biden’s Most Secretive Tax Is Hiding in Plain Sight

In the first six months of the Biden presidency, rising inflation has squeezed businesses and families still reeling from the effects of the pandemic. That could spell trouble for Democrats.

As Americans return to normal life and spending habits, Republicans are sounding the alarm on rising prices, and laying blame squarely on what they see as President Biden’s spendthrift recovery agenda.

Prices increased 0.6% month over month, faster than the 0.4% jump that was anticipated by analysts surveyed by Refinitiv. . .

And Republicans have already set up a strategy to drive the inflation message home to voters for the 2022 midterms. Axios reported that Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), who leads the Republican Study Committee, wrote a memo on inflation to his GOP colleagues: “Of course, they’re trying to spin the media and explain that it has nothing to do with their big-spending policies. Which, we know, is simply false.”

Latest Biden Nominee Involved in ‘Eco-Terrorism’ Case

President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management, Tracy Stone-Manning, received legal immunity to testify in a 1993 criminal trial, court documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show. The trial resulted in a 17 month prison sentence for tree spiking, a violent tactic used to prevent logging.

Stone-Manning testified that she sent an anonymous and threatening letter to the Forest Service in 1989 on behalf of John P. Blount, who she identified as her former roommate and a member of her circle of friends, court documents show. The letter warned that a local forest in Idaho set to be logged had been sabotaged with tree spikes, according to the documents.

“P.S. You bastards go in there anyway and a lot of people could get hurt,” the letter stated.

Tree spiking, which The Washington Post and other news outlets have described as an “eco-terrorism” tactic, is a form of sabotage in which metal spikes are nailed into trees to make them unsafe to log. If gone unnoticed, tree spikes can cause serious injuries for workers. . .

Stone-Manning told local media outlets at the time of the trial she waited until 1993 to inform federal authorities of her role in sending the letter because she was scared Blount would threaten her life. Biden to Military Personnel: ‘I Keep Forgetting I’m President’ (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, while President Joe Biden was speaking before Air Force personnel in the United Kingdom, he had quite the senior moment, which is not atypical for the 78-year old. As the president began his remarks, it took him a moment before he realized that the military personnel in attendance were still standing, as he had not told them to sit down. He had already started telling a story when he noticed.

“Please, at ease,” Biden said. “I keep forgetting I’m president,” he told the crowd. The service members did as they were told and sat down, while there was laughter over the so-called joke.

This is not the first time that Biden has forgotten he’s president, and it won’t be the last.

Haters Trying to Disbar Texas Attorney General Paxton for Filing Vote Fraud Suit

. . .The State Bar of Texas originally dismissed a complaint that Paxton had committed professional misconduct by petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn President Biden’s victory in four swing states. But the Board of Disciplinary Appeals, a tribunal of 12 independent lawyers appointed by the Texas Supreme Court, overturned that decision late last month, ordering the bar to investigate whether Paxton’s lawsuit to overturn Biden’s electoral win was frivolous, unethical, and filed in bad faith. AP reported Wednesday.

The state bar dismisses thousand of grievances each year, and the appellate board overturns those dismissals in fewer than 7 percent of cases.

The complaint against Paxton was filed by Keith Moran, president of the Galveston Island Democrats. Moran, 71, showed his initial complaint to AP and also a June 3 letter from the Board of Disciplinary Action indicating that Paxton has less than a month to respond. Paxton “wanted to disenfranchise the voters in four other states,” Moran told AP. “It’s just crazy.” He told The Texas Tribune that Paxton should have dropped the suit after legal experts predicted, correctly, that the Supreme Court would just dismiss it. “He wasted my taxpayer money,” Moran said.
