Obama Era Emails: Burisma-Linked Firm Offered Ukrainian Prosecutor ‘Access’ to Clinton Camp

Former Ukrainian prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko told former Obama State Department official George Kent he had been “pitched” by a Hunter Biden and Burisma-linked lobbying firm to give him “access” to “high levels” of the Clinton campaign in the weeks leading up to the 2016 presidential election, according to emails between former Obama State Department officials obtained by Fox News.

The lobbying firm, Blue Star Strategies, is reportedly under federal investigation for potential illegal lobbying. Politico first reported the investigation, which allegedly comes as the Justice Department is ramping up enforcement of foreign governments’ efforts to influence U.S. politics. Those efforts have been linked to work by Republicans, but the probe into Blue Star also puts firms and operatives connected to the Democratic Party under the microscope.

In an email released to Citizens United on Thursday as part of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) filing, and obtained by Fox News, former deputy assistant secretary of state for Europe and Eastern Europe George Kent wrote to a number of Obama administration officials about a meeting he had with Ukrainian prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko in September 2016 about Blue Star Strategies. . .

Kent, a key witness in the first impeachment proceedings against former President Trump in 2019, said the two discussed options of a trip Lutsenko had been planning to the U.S., and “confirmed he has been pitched by Blue Star, not sought them out.” . . .

“Blue Star CEO [Karen] Tramantano’s pitch was that she could gain him access to high levels of the Clinton campaign (GPK note: she was Podesta’s deputy as deputy COS the last year of Bill Clinton’s tenure), and that was appealing—to meet the possible next Presidential Chief of Staff,” Kent wrote. Florida and Alaska Join Keystone XL Pipeline Lawsuit Against Biden

Two more state attorneys general are joining the ongoing lawsuit initially filed by 21 other states against the Biden White House for its cancelation of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen made the announcement on behalf of Florida and Alaska on Thursday, noting, “The Constitution is clear that presidents do not have the power to regulate foreign and interstate commerce or to unilaterally undo an act of Congress.” The complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas now includes Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody and Alaska Attorney General Treg Taylor.

Within hours of assuming the presidency, Joe Biden revoked the permit for the pipeline. In January 2017, President Donald Trump reauthorized its construction after President Barack Obama rejected the proposal in 2015. Witnesses: Surge in Illegal Aliens From Muslim Terror-Linked Nations

President Joe Biden’s open border policies are attracting a historic surge of potentially dangerous illegal immigrants, many from non-Central-American Muslim nations, according to new eyewitness reports.

“It’s up 300%, 400%. Be prepared. They’re coming,” according to a new report from border expert Todd Bensman, who has been charting the historic traffic of illegal immigrants since Biden took office.

His report highlighted a ‘record 10,000 so-called ‘extracontinental’ migrants” — or those not from Latin America.

While journalists have been focused on the crossings of Latin Americans at the U.S.-Mexico line, Bensman’s latest report for the Center for Immigration Studies comes from a well-known passage area in Panama where suspected terrorists and others unable to legally get into the United States travel through. He quoted a House lawmaker and two journalists who charted the trafficking surge.

“The numbers are the highest ever this month. They have dramatically, dramatically, dramatically increased,” journalist Michael Yon told him from Panama.

President’s New Incentives: Biden Might Buy You a Beer if You Get the Shot

President Biden on Wednesday declared June a “national month of action” to take aim at the coronavirus pandemic, urging Americans to get vaccinated.

Aiming to reach his goal of getting at least one COVID vaccination shot into the arms of 70% of the nation’s adults by July 4th, the president unveiled a five-part plan to reach that goal, which included steps to make it easier to get the vaccine and incentives such as free food, beer, and tickets. . .

“Fully vaccinated are safely shredding their masks and greeting one another with a smile. Grandparents are hugging their grandkids again. Small business owners are reopening storefronts and restaurants because of the vaccination strategy,” the president emphasized.

Biden also said that after combating a pandemic that’s taken the lives of more than 600,000 Americans since the beginning of last year, the nation’s headed into a “summer of freedom. A summer of joy. A summer of get-togethers and celebrations. Joe Biden Appoints Kamala Harris To Lead Again — On Coronavirus Vaccine Promotion Tour

President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris would take the lead on another issue priority for his administration.

“We are going to launch a national vaccination tour to encourage people to take the shot,” Biden said at the White House. “The vice president is going to lead that tour across the south and midwest, where we still have millions of people to vaccinate.”

Biden said that Harris would be joined by her husband Doug Emhoff and First Lady Jill Biden on the tour as well as cabinet secretaries.

The news of Harris leading a vaccination tour marks the fifth responsibility the White House has passed on to the vice president.

Biden also asked Harris to lead on the migrant crisis on the southern border, leading the push to expand access to broadband internet, and leading small business outreach in the coronavirus rescue package. President Joe Biden took a dig Tuesday at two Senate members that he said “vote more with” his “Republican friends” during remarks commemorating the centennial of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

During one portion of the speech, Biden highlighted the “right to vote.” He referred to efforts “to replace nonpartisan election administrators and to intimidate those charged with tallying and reporting the election results” as a “truly unprecedented assault on our democracy.”

The president continued on to urge Congress to act on voting rights and responded to apparent questions from “all the folks on TV” about why he hasn’t gotten “this done.” Biden in part seemed to blame two members of his own party, presumably Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, for supporting the filibuster – though he did not call them out by name.

“I hear all the folks on TV saying, ‘why doesn’t Biden get this done?’” the president exclaimed. “Well, because Biden only has the majority of effectively four votes in the House and a tie in the Senate, with two members of the Senate who vote more with my Republican friends. But we’re not giving up.”

Biden To Cancel Oil and Gas Leases in Alaskan Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

The Biden White House plans to cancel all oil and gas leases in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge until a further review of their environmental impacts are assessed, according to the New York Times Tuesday.

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, the paper reported citing two insiders familiar with the administration’s plans, will publish an order to formally rescind existing leases months after the new president mounted a White House crusade against fossil fuels on day one with moratoriums on new drilling in the Arctic and other federal lands.

Marcella Burke, an attorney who specializes in energy policy and is an alum of the Trump Interior Department told The Times the move to halt drilling in the more than 19 million-acre refuge was far from unexpected. . .

President Donald Trump opened the Arctic Refuge’s coastal plain, a nearly 1.6 million-acre stretch on Alaska’s north coast for oil and gas development in 2017 in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski wrote the language of the legislation to green-light projects now effectively canceled by the Biden White House. In the middle of a speech to military personnel Friday in Hampton, Virginia, President Joe Biden said, looking towards the family who was being honored, “I love those barrettes in your hair … She looks like she’s 19-years-old”… with her legs crossed. . .

Biden went on to say he was “especially honored to share the stage with Brittney,” whose husband, Major Nathan Bean, is currently deployed.

Biden continuing to talk, looking towards Brittney and the rest of her children, whom he named but not clearly, to say, “I love those barrettes in your hair, man.” This must have been in reference to the daughter, Margaret Katherine.

Biden Spends Memorial Day Attacking Voting Integrity Laws: ‘Democracy Itself Is in Peril’ (VIDEO)

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden warned Americans on Memorial Day Monday that democracy in their country was “in peril,” citing concerns about the current political climate and restrictive voting laws.

“Democracy itself is in peril. Here at home and around the world,” Biden said, before specifically citing the right to vote “conveniently” as part of the “infrastructure” required to keep democracy intact.

Folks, you all know it, democracy thrives when the infrastructure of democracy is strong,” he said. “When people have the right to vote freely, and fairly, and conveniently. When a free and independent press pursues the truth founded on facts, not propaganda.”

Biden repeatedly tied the themes of democracy into his presidential campaign theme about preserving the “soul of America.”

By Fox News. President Joe Biden honored soldiers who lost their lives while fighting for the United States during a speech at Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day.

The 46th president focused a significant portion of his address on Monday warning about the risks posed to democracy, a topic that he brought up over the weekend to criticize Republican efforts in Texas to pass voting restrictions and following a 2020 election after which former President Donald Trump and his allies claimed that the contest was stolen despite assurances by federal and state officials that it was secure.

“Between dreams of democracy and appetites for autocracy, which we’re seeing around the world,” Biden said. “Our troops have fought this battle on fields around the world but also the battle of our time, and the mission falls to each of us each and every day. Democracy itself is in peril. Here at home and around the world.“

He said the way people honor “the memory of the fallen will determine whether or not democracy will long endure.” . . .

“Our willingness to see each other not as enemies, neighbors, even when we disagree, to understand what the other is going through,” he added. “To state the obvious, our democracy isn’t perfect, it always has been, but Americans of all backgrounds, races, creeds, gender identities, sexual orientations have long spilled their blood to defend our democracy.”

Memorial Day Warning: Biden Puts World Leaders on Notice During the Weekend (VIDEO)

President Biden sent a warning to the presidents of China and Russia during his Memorial Day address on Sunday.

“I had a long conversation for two hours recently with [Chinese] President Xi [Jinping], making it clear to him we could do nothing but speak out for human rights around the world because that’s who we are,” Biden said. “I’ll be meeting with [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin in a couple weeks in Geneva making it clear that we will not stand by and let him abuse those rights.”

Biden spoke at a Memorial Day service in Delaware on Sunday morning, where he offered comfort to the families of fallen service members and paid tribute to his late son Beau Biden, who served in the Iraq War.

“It’s also an important tradition in our family. As many of you know, this is a hard day for us. Six years ago today … I lost my son. In the first year of his passing back in 2016, Gen. [Frank] Vavala did a great honor in inviting us to a ceremony renaming the Delaware National Guard headquarters in Beau’s honor.”
