Experts: Leaked Illegal Immigration Stats Are ‘Undeniable’ Proof Biden’s Policies Caused Border Crisis; Pentagon OKs Third Military Base to House Illegals

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden’s immigration policies undeniably contributed to border agents apprehending a record number of migrants in March, Heritage Foundation immigration experts said Friday.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reportedly encountered over 171,000 illegal migrants in March 2021, a 400% increase compared to March of 2020, according to preliminary figures reported by The Washington Post. Heritage researchers Lora Ries and former Acting CBP Director Mark Morgan criticized the Biden administration for not acknowledging the increase in the number of migrants arriving at the southern border as a crisis and instead calling it a “seasonal phenomenon.”

“We have a crisis on the border, even though the Biden administration still refuses to acknowledge it. Today’s numbers are just more evidence of this undeniable reality — and proof that President Biden’s policies are driving this crisis,” Reis and Morgan said in a joint statement. . .

“The crisis will only end when the Biden administration reinstates strong and sound immigration policies — policies that were working prior to the new administration taking office and ending most of them,” Reis and Morgan said. . .

“Today’s numbers should be a wakeup call to this administration — Biden’s border crisis is unsustainable and is drowning our Border Patrol agents in a flood of lawlessness,” Reis and Morgan said. Pentagon OKs Third Military Base to House Illegals

By Breitbart. The Pentagon over the weekend confirmed reports that it has approved a third military site in California to house the unaccompanied migrant children coming across the United States’ southern border in record numbers in recent months.

A defense official said in a statement Saturday:

On April 2, the Department of Defense approved a request for assistance from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for facilities and land to temporarily house unaccompanied children at Camp Roberts, California.

This support is being provided on a fully-reimbursable basis. DoD only provides this kind of support where it has no impact on military readiness and its ability to conduct its primary missions.”

We refer you to HHS for more detail about the manner in which they will avail themselves of Camp Roberts and the number of children they expect to place there.

White House Can’t Explain Why Biden Hasn’t Released Months Late Budget, Blames Donald Trump

The White House Monday could not offer a timeline of when it would release a budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

“We expect it to be very soon,” Psaki replied when asked about the lack of a budget. “I don’t have a timeline on that quite yet.”

Previous administrations have released some sort of budget, or at least a blueprint or outline of one, by the end of February. . .

Psaki blamed former President Donald Trump’s administration for the delay, noting an “impactful intransigence” during the transition of power to Biden’s administration. (Read more from “White House Can’t Explain Why Biden Hasn’t Released Budget, Blames Donald Trump” HERE)

Biden Ready to Push Infrastructure Plan Without GOP Support

A top Biden official said Sunday that the president is open to pushing his $2.2 trillion infrastructure plan through Congress without Republican support.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm suggested that the White House may pursue passing the legislation through the parliamentary procedure known as reconciliation that requires a simple majority in the narrowly divided 50-50 Senate. . .

“As he has said, he was sent to the presidency to do a job for America, and if the vast majority of Americans, Democrats and Republicans, across the country support spending on our country and not allowing us to lose the race globally, then he’s going to do that,” Granholm said of her boss on CNN’s “State of the Union,” although she added that the president would prefer bipartisan support.

“His sincere preference, his open hand, is to Republicans to come to the table and say, ‘if you don’t like this how would you pay for it, if you don’t like this, what would you include,’ so much of this though includes priorities that Republicans have supported,” she said. Questions the Media Should Ask President Biden About His Call for Economic Sanctions on Georgia

Given that the United States President has, for the first time in American history, called for an economic boycott and economic sanctions of a member state over dutifully and legally passed legislation, a reader passed along questions he’d like to see the White House press ask of the administration they claim to cover. The questions refer to President Joe Biden’s call for an economic boycott of Georgia over its decision to pass SB202, which will put into place mild election integrity reforms.

Q: Seeing that over the past year, almost 50 percent of small, black-owned business in America have closed for good and seeing how African Americans make up 55 percent of Atlanta, 54 percent of Savannah, and 55 percent of Augusta (where The Masters is played), does President Biden still think calling for an economic boycott and punishment by private companies on all Georgia citizens is a good idea? And will he now call for boycotts of The Masters, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Hawks along with UGA & GA Tech. football? Why or why not?

Q: Does President Biden keep a list of other pieces of state and local legislation of which he does not approve? And over the next few years, if any of that legislation happens to pass and is signed into law, will he always publicly call for an economic boycott/sanctions by private companies so he may punish the local population for what he personally decides are their errors?

Q: Moving forward, should state and local municipalities brief and ask for approval by President Biden on legislation they are considering, so they may avoid the President of the United States actively pressing and pushing for an economic boycott/sanctions from private companies that would hurt the entire local population? Biden Administration Invokes Civil Rights Act to Stall Texas Highway Widening

President Joe Biden’s Department of Transportation is invoking the Civil Rights Act to pause a highway project near Houston, a rare move that offers an early test of the administration’s willingness to wield federal power to address a long history of government-driven racial inequities.

DOT’s intervention follows complaints from local activists that the state’s proposed widening of Interstate 45 would displace an overwhelmingly Black and Hispanic community, including schools, places of worship and more than 1,000 homes and businesses.

It also comes as Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has identified racial equity as a major priority for his department — after decades in which federal highway money has paid for projects that leveled minority and low-income communities. Joe Biden Is About to Lock up a Lot of Black People

If the Biden administration is serious about cracking down on the supposed rise in anti-Asian American violence and bias, it’s going to have to take a break from all that racial “equity” it’s been hyping.

And it’s going to have to prepare itself to lock up a lot of black people (and maybe a few Hispanics). . .

The New York Times reported that part of Biden’s initiative will be “prioritizing prosecution of those who commit hate crimes” against people of Asian descent.

I guess that’s a good thing, but what happens when prioritizing the prosecution of anti-Asian hate crimes disproportionately affects the black community?

It will. Anyone tracking the sporadic incidents of violence against people of Asian descent lately will have noticed a pattern. The attackers are almost exclusively black men. (Read more from “Joe Biden Is About to Lock up a Lot of Black People” HERE)

Wrong Way: Jobless Claims Climb Under Biden

New weekly jobless claims rose 61,000 to 719,000 for the week that ended March 27, the Department of Labor said Thursday.

Economists surveyed by Econoday had forecast a decline to 680,000 from the previous week’s initial estimate of 684,000. The previous week’s level was revised down by 26,000 from 684,000 to 658,000

Jobless claims can be volatile week to week so economists like to look at the four-week average. This fell to 719,000, a decrease of 10,500 from the previous week’s revised average. That is the lowest level for this average since March 14, 2020.

Continuing claims, which get reported with a week’s lag, fell to 3,794,000 in the week ended March 20, a decrease of 46,000 from the previous week. (Read more from “Wrong Way: Jobless Claims Climb Under Biden” HERE)

Biden Backs Calls to Move the MLB All-Star Game Out of Atlanta Over Georgia’s New Voting Law

President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats and leftists have made no bones about their hatred for Georgia’s new voting law, which Republican Gov. Brian Kemp signed last week. . .

Activists are pushing the league to move the All-Star game out of Atlanta — and they’ve got President Biden’s support. . .

MLBPA executive director Tony Clark reportedly said he “would look forward” to discussions regarding punishing the city over the new voting law by moving the game out of state. . .

“I think today’s professional athletes are acting incredibly responsibly,” Biden began. “I would strongly support them doing that.”

“People look to them; they’re leaders,” he continued, pointing to the social justice movements and woke culture that have dominated professional sports over the last few years. “Look at what happened with the NBA, as well. Look what’s happened across the board. The very people who were victimized the most are the people who are the leaders in these various sports, and it’s just not right.” (Read more from “Biden Backs Calls to Move the MLB All-Star Game Out of Atlanta Over Georgia’s New Voting Law” HERE)

Socialism Arrives in USA! Dems Set for Spending Spree With Biden’s Infrastructure Plan

President Joe Biden’s $2 trillion infrastructure plan, dubbed the American Jobs Plan, is not sufficient and “needs to be way bigger,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said on Tuesday prior to the proposal’s formal unveiling.

Biden is outlining his $2 trillion plan on Wednesday, which devotes roughly $174 billion to the electric vehicle market, $115 billion to modernize bridges, highways, and roads, $50 billion in semiconductor manufacturing and research, $25 billion in airports, $10 billion investment in enforcement to “ensure employers are providing workers with good jobs,” $10 billion investment for Civilian Climate Corps, and more, as Breitbart News highlighted.

Ocasio-Cortez, however, does not believe it is sufficient, as the $2 trillion proposal spreads out over the next decade. . .

Biden is expected to formally outline the proposal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania sometime Wednesday afternoon. The measure, if passed, would increase the corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent, soaring over the 25 percent corporate tax rate of Communist China.
