Biden Acknowledges Claims That Obama Says He ‘Doesn’t Really Have It’

Joe Biden admitted that he doesn’t have the intimate connection to voters that former President Barack Obama had on the campaign trail.

Obama, 58, claimed that his former running mate, Biden, 77, could struggle on the campaign trail because he lacks a connection with voters, according to a report from Politico. Obama criticized some of the 2020 Democratic candidates about their connection to voters, saying, “And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden.”

Biden responded to Obama’s comments, telling Politico, “He may have said that. And if it’s true, and he said it, there’s truth to it.”

The former vice president credited Obama’s statement and acknowledged that he had mostly dropped in and campaigned for other people in states such as Iowa rather than running campaigns for himself.

‘SNL’ Mocks Joe Biden in Debate Recap: “I’m Always One Second Away from Calling Cory Booker ‘Barack'”

With an all-star cast, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” reenacted some of the more cringeworthy moments of last week’s Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta.

“America, I see you. And I see the faces you make when I talk – you’re scared,” Woody Harrelson, flashing a mouth full of pearly whites as Joe Biden, said. “Scared I’ll say something off-color, or even worse, on color.”

“What I want you to know is you should be scared,” he continued.” Because I’m always one second away from calling Cory Booker ‘Barack.’” . . .

“I’m a little overwhelmed because I thought 10 people were coming and now there’s 30 million,” [Kate McKinnon’s Elizabeth Warren] quipped. “But I promise dinner will be ready if you just get out of the kitchen and stop asking questions,” she said, mocking Warren’s dodging how she plans to pay for her $52 trillion Medicare-for-All plan. . .

WATCH: Biden Is Visibly Upset After Being Asked About Son’s Affair

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden became visibly annoyed with a reporter on Thursday who asked him about the news story that broke yesterday that his son, Hunter Biden, fathered a child with a woman in Arkansas while Hunter Biden was dating his brother’s widow.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Biden, “Do you have a comment on this report and court filing out of Arkansas that your son Hunter just made you a grandfather?”

“No, that’s a private matter, I have no comment,” Biden responded.

Biden then showed that the question annoyed him, adding, “But only you would ask that. You’re a good man. You’re a good man. Classy.”

Despite Previous Denials, DNA Test Proves Hunter Biden Is Father of Arkansas Woman’s Baby

A DNA test has confirmed that Hunter Biden fathered a child with an Arkansas woman who is suing him for financial support, after months of Biden denying the allegations and asking that the suit be thrown out. . .

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette first reported Wednesday that “DNA testing has established ‘with scientific certainty'” that Biden is the father of the baby, according to court documents filed by the child’s mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts. According to the motion, Biden “is not expected to challenge the results of the DNA test or the testing process.”

Biden has repeatedly denied having a sexual relationship with Lunden, and demanded in August that the paternity suit against him be tossed out by the court, The Daily Mail reported. Biden eventually agreed to take a DNA test.

As Business Insider noted, “Biden’s relationship history is complicated.”

At the time of Biden’s affair with Lunden, he was dating his late brother’s widow, Hallie Biden, who he moved in with after divorcing his wife of 22 years. Joe Biden Freaks Out After GOP Calls for Hunter to Testify

Former Vice President Joe Biden declared Monday there was “zero rationale” for Republican lawmakers to have his son Hunter testify before Congress as part of the ongoing impeachment inquiry.

Hunter Biden’s financial involvement in the Ukraine gas company Burisma — while his father was in office — has been under intense scrutiny in recent weeks since the House of Representatives formally launched the impeachment inquiry into President Trump over his conversation with the Ukrainian president about investigating the Bidens. With public impeachment hearings scheduled for this week, Republicans recently included Hunter Biden on a list of witnesses they wanted to hear under oath. . .

“Every single, solitary, serious investigator… looked at this and said there’s absolutely zero basis to the accusation that I acted inappropriately or that my son did,” Biden told the Iowa audience. “This is all about Trump trying to create a diversion… There’s not a scintilla of evidence pointing out that anything is wrong.” . . .

“There is zero rationale for that to happen,” Biden told CNN anchor Erin Burnett. “Nobody has suggested that anything was done that was inappropriate. This is all a diversion. This is classic Trump, classic Trump. Focus on the problems. WATCH: Joe Biden Presses Face up Against Young Girl After Promising to Give Women Space

Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden encroached on the personal space boundaries he recently said he’d be “more mindful” of while attending a campaign event in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday.

Biden, who’s been plagued with concerns over his inappropriate touching and lack of respect for personal boundaries, pressed his nose up against one young girl wearing glasses while meeting with potential voters and their families. “Now, what grade are you in?” the former vice president asked the girl before pulling away. . .

The encounter comes in the wake of Biden addressing his personal-space issue in a video posted to social media, wherein he blames his questionable interactions on changing “social norms.”

“Social norms are changing,” he captioned the video, which was posted in April. “I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet it.”

“Today I want to talk about gestures of support and encouragement that I’ve made to women and some men that have made them uncomfortable,” Biden says in the clip, according to HuffPost. “And I’ve always tried, in my career, I’ve always tried to make a human connection ― that’s my responsibility, I think. Joe Biden Denied Communion at Church Over Abortion Stance

Former Vice President Joe Biden was denied communion at a Catholic Church in South Carolina Sunday because of his staunch position in favor of abortion.

Biden, who earlier this year reversed course on his long held stance in favor of the Hyde Amendment, was attending a worship service at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Florence, South Carolina, when he attempted to receive the sacrament. The former vice president, however, was rebuffed by the church’s pastor, Father Robert E. Morey, because of his support for abortion.

“Sadly, this past Sunday, I had to refuse Holy Communion to former Vice President Joe Biden,” Morey told the Florence Morning News on Monday. “Holy Communion signifies we are one with God, each other and the Church. Our actions should reflect that.”

The pastor’s act comes as Biden, who identifies as a Catholic and has claimed to be personally opposed to abortion, has shifted his position on the practice to line up with the mainstream of the Democrat Party, under whose banner he hopes to be elected president next year.

In June, the former vice president set off a firestorm on the left by reaffirming his commitment to the Hyde Amendment, a federal rule banning tax dollars from being used for abortion except in cases of maternal health or if the pregnancy arose because of rape or incest. By Daily Wire. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden stumbled through multiple campaign stops over the weekend in North and South Carolina in what was ultimately a microcosm of how his campaign is performing.

On Saturday, Biden participated in the Second Step Presidential Justice Forum in Columbia, South Carolina, where he raised eyebrows when he was asked by an African American woman what advice he would give to her about being pulled over by a police officer.

Biden responded: “If you were my daughter, you’d be a Caucasian girl, and you wouldn’t be pulled over.”

During one point in his speech, Biden falsely claimed that Trump “said that migrants seeking refuge in America were – ‘these aren’t people, these are animals.’”

This is a lie that has been repeatedly debunked, and Biden has been repeatedly called out for repeating the lie.

Brother of Sandy Hook Victim Blasts Joe Biden for ‘Lie’, Reveals Family Barred From Air Force One Flight for Opposing Gun Control

By The Blaze. Joe Biden claimed in a recent campaign video that he met with the families of each victim of the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre, which resulted in the deaths of 20 young child and six teachers. But the brother of one of the victims says Biden is lying.

In the campaign video, Biden claimed, “Gun violence has been a concern of mine for a long, long, time. What really got to me though, really firsthand, was what happened up in Sandy Hook. I think I met with every one of the parents and/or of the families of those who are lost.”

However, 19-year-old JT Lewis, who lost his brother Jesse in the massacre, says Biden is lying.

“This is a lie. Obama came to Sandy Hook and met with every family. Joe Biden DID NOT,” Lewis said on Twitter this week.

“Joe Biden just claimed that he came to Sandy Hook after the shooting and met with every family who lost someone. It was actually Obama who did that, NOT Joe Biden,” he said. “Biden also thought he was VP when Parkland happened. @JoeBiden is either a liar or he’s losing his mind.”

New Poll: Who Will Win the Democratic Primary?

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s once-solid double-digit lead over the rest of the field of 2020 Democratic Party presidential nominees shrunk, in recent weeks, before slightly expanding again over the past two weeks. Biden currently stands 6.6% above second-place Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in the average of recent national polling. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) round out the top five in most recent national polling. Increasingly, the field appears to be shaping up as a three-horse race among Biden, Warren, and Sanders. But Sanders is poised to be the odd man out of the troika, due to a combination of health problems and the fact his socialist political platform is no longer unique.

Biden’s once-formidable lead has dramatically narrowed since its high watermark in May, as the senior statesman frequently commits gaffes on the campaign trail and oftentimes comes across as simply being too old to assume the mantle of commander-in-chief. It remains to be seen just how much of Biden’s continued fall can also be attributed to fallout from the recent Ukraine phone call national scandal and impeachment imbroglio. Warren has been surging for awhile now, although her national polling has taken a bit of a drop over the past couple of weeks. Warren and Sanders seem to be competing for a very similar voting demographic, and it is interesting to ponder the possibility of how one candidate would likely be substantially elevated were the other to drop out and endorse the other. Some polling data suggests that Sanders hypothetically dropping out would help Warren more than it would help Biden. But Sanders may be in this for the long haul, after all.

Electoral prediction market website PredictIt also pegs Warren as the favorite to win the presidential nomination over Biden — with Sanders, Buttigieg, and political novice Andrew Yang following next. But while PredictIt showed Warren with an overwhelming lead recently, her lead has over Biden has narrowed, of late. It is likely that many of these bettors are skittish about Biden’s age and perceived substantive centrism — with the latter especially worrisome among a Democratic Party base that is increasingly brazen and unabashed in its promotion of ardent, full-spectrum leftism.

‘You Don’t Get More Politically Connected’: Participants in Securities Fraud Scam Touted Links to Hunter Biden

Participants in a multi-million dollar scheme to defraud an American Indian tribe touted links to Hunter Biden and his business associate, Devon Archer, according to court documents the Daily Caller News Foundation reviewed.

Biden is not accused of wrongdoing in the case, which centered on a fraudulent $60 million bond offering involving the Wakpamni Lake Community Association, an affiliate of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. But the documents, reported here for the first time, shed light on how associates saw Biden during a period when his father, Joe Biden, served as vice president.

“Hunter Biden works for [Archer]. So we’ve got the top level politicos with us. All of my guys, is as top tier as it gets,” Bevan Cooney, who a jury convicted in the Wakpamni scam, said in a secretly recorded phone call that is cited in exhibits that Archer’s defense team produced during an appeal of his conviction in the case.

“Well, you know — but you see that this is who we’re doing business with? You don’t get more politically connected and make people more comfortable than that,” Cooney also said in the phone conversation.

Cooney, who a judge sentenced to 30 months in prison on July 31, was a close associate of Jason Galanis, who prosecutors described as the “mastermind” of the bond ripoff.
