By Washington Examiner. Joe Biden said that his family members, including Hunter Biden, would not engage in any foreign business if he wins the presidency in 2020.

That’s not because Hunter did anything wrong as a board member of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, the former vice president said, but due to questionable business activities of President Trump’s children.

“They will not be engaged in any foreign business because of what’s happened in this administration,” Biden said of Hunter Biden and brother James Biden, in an Axios on HBO interview that aired Sunday. “No one’s going to be seeking patents for things from China. No one’s going to be engaged in that kind of thing.”

Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisma while Joe Biden, 77, worked on Ukrainian policy while vice president. House Democrats launched impeachment proceedings against Trump after revelations of a phone call in which Trump asked the Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens, which Democrats argue Trump did for personal political interests rather than legitimate policy reasons.

Trump and his allies suggest that Joe Biden acted in Hunter’s interest when he conditioned $1 billion in aid to Ukraine on firing an official who was investing Burisma, but many international organizations at the time wanted the prosecutor removed for other reasons, and there is no evidence that Biden acted with the intention of helping his son. Biden Still Can’t Explain What Son Was Doing ‘Working’ for Ukraine Company

By Townhall. During an interview with Axios, former Vice President and Democratic candidate Joe Biden still couldn’t explain why his son Hunter was hired by Ukraine’s largest energy company. Hunter, who had recently been discharged from the Navy for drug use, was hired by Burisma and paid more than $80,000 a month despite the fact that Hunter had no relevant experience whatsoever. When Hunter was hired by Burisma, the company was mired in a corruption scandal and Hunter’s father just so happened to be the point man on Ukraine for the United States. Hmmm.

It gets worse. Biden forced Ukraine into firing the prosecutor investigating the company that was paying his son’s lucrative salary by threatening to cancel a billion-dollar loan guarantee from the United States. Basically, all the accusations of “bribery,” “quid pro quo” and “abuse of office for personal enrichment” that you hear Democrats accusing Donald Trump of doing, Joe Biden actually did. It’s a problem.

“There’s one thing that a lot of Democrats even do wonder about, and that is Hunter Biden, your son, was getting paid a lot of money to serve on the board of a Ukrainian energy company facing serious corruption charges,” the interviewer began. “You were the vice president running point on Ukraine. The average joe hears that and says ‘that sounds fishy.’ What’s your understanding of what your son was doing for an extraordinary amount of money?”

Did Biden Use Another Racial Slur?

Former Vice President Joe Biden is refusing to explain what he meant when he used the term “roaches” at the renaming of a community pool in 2017. . .

The event, meant to recognize the former vice president’s contributions to Wilmington, was centered around the renaming of a public pool at which Biden worked in his youth. Things took a strange turn, however, when the former vice president began to share personal stories from his time as a lifeguard at the pool.

“By the way, you know, I sit on the stand, and it get[s] hot,” Biden said, flanked by children from the local community. “I got a lot, I got hairy legs that turn blonde in the sun, and the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again. They’d look at it.”

Video of Biden telling the crowd about his “wet leg hair” caused a stir when it resurfaced on social media last week. Many, seeing Biden’s comments for the first time, found them inappropriate and “creepy.” Even more people, however, were perplexed by another portion of the former vice president’s speech, one that seemed out of place with everything else said that day.

“So I learned about roaches, I learned about kids jumping on my lap,” the former vice president told the audience in Delaware. “And I loved kids jumping on my lap.”

Joe Biden denied that he was caught on video fat-shaming a man who confronted him at his event, and his presidential campaign instead offered an improbable cover story.

Video of the fiery debate between Biden and an angry critic at his campaign event went viral on Thursday. . .

Biden’s senior advisor Symone Sanders took to her Twitter account to explain why people didn’t hear on the video of the altercation what their ears told them they heard.

“Let’s be clear RE: the exchange VP Biden had with a voter in Iowa earlier today: 1) the gentleman is a self identified Warren supporter who said he would vote for the VP in a general election 2) his facts were flat-out wrong and 3) the crowd backed VP Biden up in his response,” Sanders tweeted.

“To be clear: Any assertion VP Biden said a word about the gentleman’s appearance is making this something it is not. In the latter part of the exchange, the VP began to say “Look, facts” then said “here’s the deal.” If you’ve been to a Biden event, you’ve heard this before,” she said in a second tweet.

WATCH: Joe Biden Will Refuse If Called to Testify in Impeachment Trial

Presidential frontrunner Joe Biden told reporters that he would refuse to testify voluntarily if the Senate called him to do so in their impeachment hearings. . .

“If there’s a Senate impeachment trial, they might want to call you as a witness is that something where you would appear voluntarily?” asked Doocy.

“No I’m not going to let them take their eye off the ball,” responded Biden. . .

Democrats have begun an impeachment inquiry based on the accusation that the president withheld military aid from Ukraine in order to pressure them to investigate Joe Biden’s influence in their country.

Allies of the president have defended him by saying that there was enough evidence to seek an investigation into decisions Biden made as vice president that could have benefited his son, then a consultant at a Ukrainian energy company.

Biden Accuses Buttigieg of Stealing His Healthcare Plan

Joe Biden accused South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg of copying his healthcare proposal.

Biden leveled the accusation while speaking to reporters on his campaign bus in Iowa on Monday evening, according to Reuters. Biden has pushed for a revamped version of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, the landmark healthcare legislation backed by former President Barack Obama.

Biden has said he would add a “public option” to the plan that would allow people to opt into the government healthcare system, but only if they wanted to. Otherwise, Americans would keep their private insurance plans.

Buttigieg’s healthcare proposal would allow for private and government insurance plans. He has billed the proposal as “Medicare for all who want it.”

Biden Described Allowing Children to Play With His Wet Leg Hair in Resurfaced Clip

By Daily Caller. Former Vice President Joe Biden said in a 2017 speech he allowed children to play with his wet leg hair as a lifeguard, according to resurfaced video footage.

The former vice president spoke on June 26, 2017 at the Joseph R. Biden Jr. Aquatic Center dedication in Delaware, according to a video WITN Channel 22 posted Sept. 17. The video shows Biden, surrounded by children, detailing the lessons he learned from the black community in the area surrounding the aquatic center.

Biden also described allowing children to rub his blonde leg hair while it was wet when he worked as a lifeguard.

“I got a lot of — I got hairy legs that turn … blonde in the sun,” Biden said. “And the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again. They’d look at it.”

Biden Acknowledges Claims That Obama Says He ‘Doesn’t Really Have It’

Joe Biden admitted that he doesn’t have the intimate connection to voters that former President Barack Obama had on the campaign trail.

Obama, 58, claimed that his former running mate, Biden, 77, could struggle on the campaign trail because he lacks a connection with voters, according to a report from Politico. Obama criticized some of the 2020 Democratic candidates about their connection to voters, saying, “And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden.”

Biden responded to Obama’s comments, telling Politico, “He may have said that. And if it’s true, and he said it, there’s truth to it.”

The former vice president credited Obama’s statement and acknowledged that he had mostly dropped in and campaigned for other people in states such as Iowa rather than running campaigns for himself.

With an all-star cast, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” reenacted some of the more cringeworthy moments of last week’s Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta.

“America, I see you. And I see the faces you make when I talk – you’re scared,” Woody Harrelson, flashing a mouth full of pearly whites as Joe Biden, said. “Scared I’ll say something off-color, or even worse, on color.”

“What I want you to know is you should be scared,” he continued.” Because I’m always one second away from calling Cory Booker ‘Barack.’” . . .

WATCH: Biden Is Visibly Upset After Being Asked About Son’s Affair

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden became visibly annoyed with a reporter on Thursday who asked him about the news story that broke yesterday that his son, Hunter Biden, fathered a child with a woman in Arkansas while Hunter Biden was dating his brother’s widow.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Biden, “Do you have a comment on this report and court filing out of Arkansas that your son Hunter just made you a grandfather?”

“No, that’s a private matter, I have no comment,” Biden responded.

Biden then showed that the question annoyed him, adding, “But only you would ask that. You’re a good man. You’re a good man. Classy.”

Despite Previous Denials, DNA Test Proves Hunter Biden Is Father of Arkansas Woman’s Baby

A DNA test has confirmed that Hunter Biden fathered a child with an Arkansas woman who is suing him for financial support, after months of Biden denying the allegations and asking that the suit be thrown out. . .

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette first reported Wednesday that “DNA testing has established ‘with scientific certainty'” that Biden is the father of the baby, according to court documents filed by the child’s mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts. According to the motion, Biden “is not expected to challenge the results of the DNA test or the testing process.”

Biden has repeatedly denied having a sexual relationship with Lunden, and demanded in August that the paternity suit against him be tossed out by the court, The Daily Mail reported. Biden eventually agreed to take a DNA test.

As Business Insider noted, “Biden’s relationship history is complicated.”

At the time of Biden’s affair with Lunden, he was dating his late brother’s widow, Hallie Biden, who he moved in with after divorcing his wife of 22 years.
