Senate Democrat Gushes Over Biden Standing by Hunter (VIDEO)

A Senate Democrat extolled President Joe Biden on Sunday for defending his son Hunter who faces an imminent criminal indictment.

Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), who was named a co-chairman of Biden’s re-election campaign, showered praise on the president while dismissing the notion that he will face political consequences for supporting his adult child. . .

The elder Biden, in an interview with MSNBC that aired in May, spoke highly of his son Hunter despite a years-long criminal investigation.

Biden claimed the inquiry would not affect his presidency because Hunter “has done nothing wrong.” The president also said has “trust” and “faith” in his son. (Read more from “Senate Democrat Gushes Over Biden Standing by Hunter (VIDEO) HERE)

WATCH: Biden Tells Reporters ‘I’m Going to Go to Bed’ at End of Rambling Vietnam Press Conference

President Biden clamored for a nap during a rambling 26-minute international press conference in Vietnam on Sunday that capped off his whirlwind trip to Asia.

“I tell you what, I don’t know about you, but I’m going to go to bed,” Biden, 80, joking during a rambling riff in response to a question about why he hasn’t spoken to Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

The president was in Hanoi following the multi-day Group of 20 summit in New Delhi, India, where he basked in the absence of Xi and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I’ll just follow my orders here. Staff, is there anybody that hasn’t spoken yet? I ain’t calling on you,” Biden said at another point during the presser Sunday. . .

“The Indian looks at John Wayne and points to the Union soldier and says, ‘He’s a lying, dog-faced pony soldier!’” Biden said in response to a question about climate change. (Read more from “Biden Tells Reporters ‘I’m Going to Go to Bed’ at End of Rambling Vietnam Press Conference” HERE)

Report: Joe Biden Considers Requiring Illegal Aliens to Remain in Texas

President Joe Biden is reportedly considering a plan to require illegal aliens with dubious asylum claims to remain in Texas — a move that would see the Lone Star State absorb tens of thousands of illegal aliens every week.

Biden administration officials who spoke anonymously to the Los Angeles Times said the plan is being considered so that if newly arrived border crossers fail their initial asylum screenings, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents can more easily locate and deport the illegal aliens within Texas since they would be close to the United States-Mexico border.

An added benefit for blue state governors and blue city mayors, such as New York City’s Eric Adams, is that the Biden administration would use the Remain in Texas program to shield sanctuary states and cities from waves of illegal immigration that have spurred chaos in recent months.

For Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), the program would run counter to his years-long efforts to shield his state from record-breaking illegal immigration under Biden. His migrant busing program, for instance, has sent tens of thousands of illegal aliens to sanctuary cities — as well as Vice President Kamala Harris’s residence — since spring 2022.

Most recently, Abbott installed a floating border barrier along the Rio Grande. Biden has sued to have Abbott take it down. A federal judge this week ordered it to be removed, but Abbott appealed and has since been allowed to keep the barrier in place for the time being. European Officials Praised Ukraine’s Anti-corruption Reforms Right Before Joe Biden Got Prosecutor Fired, Memo Shows

European Commission officials praised Ukraine’s anti-corruption reforms right before then-Vice President Joe Biden successfully pressured Ukraine into firing then-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

The European Commission wrote a report in December 2015 that laid out how Ukraine was progressing in its efforts to fight corruption, months before Shokin was fired because of threats from Joe Biden to withhold a $1 billion loan guarantee from Ukraine, the New York Post and Just the News first reported.

The European Commission officials noted how Shokin was appointed head of Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) after an intensive selection process.

“The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) was created, its head was appointed on 16 April 2015 following an open and competitive selection process, and around 100 investigators have been recruited and trained. The establishment of the NABU is therefore well-on track,” the memo reads. ‘Would You Give This Grandpa a High-Stress Job for Six More Years?’: CNN Host Jones Mocks Biden (VIDEO)

CNN’s Van Jones on Thursday mocked President Joe Biden over his age after a new CNN poll revealed nearly 50% of voters would prefer any presidential nominee over Biden.

Forty-six percent of voters said they would prefer any Republican nominee over Biden, with hypothetical matchups showing former South Carolina Gov and GOP candidate Nikki Haley beating the president, according to the CNN poll conducted by SSRS. Among those polled, 58% said Biden’s policies have worsened economic conditions and 70% said things in the nation are going badly. Thirty-three percent of those polled described Biden as someone they’re proud to have as president.

The poll also found 49% of Democrats are concerned about Biden’s age. . .

“I think a lot of Democrats look at these numbers and say the whispers are finally showing up in this data,” Jones said. “People are talking behind their hand. They worry about Joe Biden. Joe Biden is that grandpa that you love, that you believe in, you owe a lot — but you start to wonder, you know, would you give this grandpa a high-stress job for six more years, or would you want something else for him?”

“That’s what’s being talked about,” Jones continued. “People are scared to say anything about it, but I think it’s important for us to have this conversation now. I think it’s maybe the bottom for Joe Biden. He may go up as the economy improves, but right now, the economy is getting better and fears about the economy are getting worse. We’ve got to be honest as Democrats that there is real pain out there at the base of our party. People still don’t feel these policies yet. And we have to make the case stronger. We can’t just say, ‘Hey, don’t worry about it.’ We have to make a stronger case for the help that’s on the way than we have so far.”

Hunter Biden Claims He Was ‘Embarrassed’ by Laptop in Deposition — But Still Denies It or Contents Are His

Hunter Biden testified recently that he was embarrassed by “offensive” content published from his laptop after he dropped it off for repair at The Mac Shop in Wilmington, Delaware on April 12, 2019 – but still denies that the laptop or its contents are his.

The First Son provided confusing and often contradictory testimony under oath on June 29 during a six hour deposition related to a defamation action brought by John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of the now defunct computer repair shop, who accuses Hunter of falsely insisting the laptop was not his, or was stolen, or that his information was hacked.

Hunter is countersuing Mac Isaac, accusing him of illegally distributing his personal data, and invading his privacy.

Portions of Hunter’s deposition are revealed for the first time in the opening brief of a motion filed by Mac Isaac, in Delaware Superior court late Thursday, to dismiss the countersuit with prejudice.

Hunter refused to admit in his deposition that he visited The Mac Shop twice in April 2019, despite Mac Isaac presenting evidence that Hunter signed a work order and provided his contact information. Pollsters See 2024 Weakness for Biden Among Non-White Voters

Support for President Joe Biden appears to be dropping off among non-white voters, leading to fresh warnings about the incumbent being vulnerable as he seeks re-election in 2024.

A CNN poll, conducted by SSRS and released on Thursday, found 58% support for Biden among people of color who are registered voters in a hypothetical 2024 rematch against former President Donald Trump, the current GOP frontrunner who received 34% support from the same demographic. . .

The assessment prompted responses from other pollsters, journalists, and politicians.

“We’re still a while away from Election Day, but the Biden campaign is currently taking a lot of non-white support for granted,” said pollster Frank Luntz. (Read more from “Pollsters See 2024 Weakness for Biden Among Non-white Voters” HERE)

Comer: ‘I Do Believe We Have the Votes for Impeachment Inquiry’

House Oversight Committee chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) said Thursday on Newsmax TV’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight” that he believes he has the votes in the House to open an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

Comer said, “I do believe that we have the votes for impeachment inquiry. I think that with the revelation of all these emails, you know that Joe Biden was communicating with Hunter Biden about his business about all of the corruption that he was involved in. I think that was the straw that broke the camel’s back with a few of the Republicans that were a little nervous about going the route of impeachment inquiry. They realized that we need this tool to be able to win in court because that’s where we’re headed. We’ve just about picked all the low-hanging fruit.” (Read more from “Comer: ‘I Do Believe We Have the Votes for Impeachment Inquiry’” HERE)

CNN Poll: Several GOP Candidates Lead Biden in Head-To-Head Matchup

Former President Donald Trump, as well as South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie are leading President Joe Biden in a head-to-head matchup, the latest CNN poll found.

The survey asked respondents who they would choose in a series of hypothetical head-to-head matchups, all including Biden and various GOP candidates.

Trump, the clear leader in the Republican primary race, leads Biden in a head-to-head matchup by one percent, or 47 percent to 46 percent. Notably, Trump’s lead is within the ± 3.6 percent margin of error.

However, the former president is far from the only Republican candidate besting Biden. In fact, the survey found some of Trump’s challengers performing even better than him against Biden.

Haley, for instance, leads Biden 49 percent to 43 percent — a lead well outside of the margin of error. (Read more from “CNN Poll: Several GOP Candidates Lead Biden in Head-To-Head Matchup” HERE)

President Harris? Kamala Says She ‘May Have to Take Over’ as President and Is Ready to Do So (VIDEO)

Vice President Kamala Harris said Wednesday that an important part of her job is the fact that she “may have to take over” if President Biden is unable to complete his term in office — and that she’s ready to do so if required.

Harris was pressed on her readiness for the Oval Office during an overseas trip — after she initially tried to deflect a question about the 80-year-old Biden’s age by pointing to his legislative accomplishments.

“Questions about the president’s age often go hand in hand with questions about how you would step in the role if necessary. Do you feel prepared for that possibility? Has serving as vice president prepared you for that job?” Associated Press reporter Chris Megerian asked Harris.

“Yes,” replied the 58-year-old vice president in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she is representing Biden at the annual Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit. . .

“But let us also understand that every vice president — every vice president — understands that when they take the oath, that they must be very clear about the responsibility they may have to take over the job of being president. I am no different.” (Read more from “President Harris? Kamala Says She ‘May Have to Take Over’ as President and Is Ready to Do So” HERE)
